The workout room was very clean and has all the basic equipment needed for a good workout!

Nice hot tub and swimming, along with weight room.

They have a pool, hot tub, fitness center, game room and multiple conference rooms.

The facility and grounds were clean and in good repair.

There was a clean pool, fitness center, and even an arcade which I didn't use

Facility was clean, cozy, quiet and comfortable.

Outstanding - went there recently as part of travel soccer group and great facility and lots of room for big group including dining and hangout areas and I was impressed how clean it was.

The location is close to I-96 and near restaurants and other facilities.

We were upgraded to a suite and the room was clean and quiet, the pool was open and clean, there was a small game room/arcade and a fitness center.

We stayed at the country inn to be close to Meijer gardens.

The Frederick Meijer gardens and sculpture park is a half mile away, countless restaurants and fast food of all varieties and class levels and not too far from downtown or Craig's Cruisers.

If you are wanting a hotel close to the Gardens, this it.

This is close to eateries, one within easy walking distance, and is very close to the awesome Meijer Garden and Sculpture Park.

The hotel is super close to the Meijer Garden.

We took one afternoon to walk the gardens and the next day went back for a show.

One other benefit of the inn is that it is in walking distance of Meijer Gardens,

Spent one night here following our visit to the Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park and loved it!

The location is ideal for people visiting the Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park like we were.

Short drive to the Zoo, Meijer Gardens, and Downtown GR.

We wanted to visit Fredrick Meijers Garden.

It was conveniently located, the museum and Fredrick Meijer garden we’re cery close.

Excellent location very near the highway  on ramp  and several colleges and universities, Meijer Gardens as well as  convenient to access the downtown core.

The "glasses" in the room were plastic, each individually wrapped in Saran Wrap--what a waste.

More focus on recycling and eliminating the use of single use plastics in room is encouraged.

Terrible mattresses that made noise every time you rolled over (like you were sleeping on plastic),  and kept us awake all night.

Our beds were covered in some kind of plastic bed liner.

Appreciated a "real" plastic coffee cup vs paper.

but there is some kind of protection on the mattresses that creaks a little, like plastic or rubber.

Can't comment on the pool as we didn't have time to use it.

The hotel also allowed people to use the pool in their street clothes, which was odd to me.

The pool was nice and the perfect temp with a nice hot tub too.

Pool and hot tub was very clean and a lot of towels.

The building, pool, and room were excellent.

We also really enjoyed the hot tub and extended pool hours.

The hotel was excellent , it had nice rooms  the pool area was very big , stayed open till midnight, and had 2 lifts, one for the pool and one for the hot tub .The temp.

The pool and game room were greta kids/ grand kids loved the place.

Our  single kingsize-bed room on the second floor was clean and the bed very comfortable.

I stay here for business,  so all I am looking for is a good breakfast, a hot shower and a comfortable bed.

We had a mini fridge, a huge flat screen TV with spots to plug wires, tons of outlets, and the bed was so comfy!

-The bed mattress was very comfortable too, and always thankful for working air conditioner.

I liked my room - it was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed.

Several pillow choices and a comfortable mattress.

The bed was comfy, the bathroom has an extremely basic tub/shower and sink/vanity.

Then house keeping was trying to open the door.

but I immediately found a large dead flying insect under the toilet seen clearly from the door of the bathroom.

People going up and down hall all night long slamming doors.

Our room the bathroom door looked like it had be broken by a bit of force and repaired.

however didn’t call front desk because it was only not even an inch of water we didn’t think anything of it we requested for a late check out at noon and called it a night at 10 am maintenance came knocking at the door saying there was a flood in their laundry room and blamed it on us.

The first night on the 7th was horrible due to  a guest being placed next door to use and had loud tv from  12 am to 3 am .We needed to get up at 3 am for  a flight .This was exhausting.

The bathroom was a little awkward due to size, it was hard to close the door without either squeezing between the toilet and the counter or straddling the toilet.

The seats are badly worn, the passenger sliding door mechanism does not work, meaning one has to reach in through the front passenger seat in order to open, and it really needs either a good cleaning, inside and out, or be replaced altogether.

My husband had to back into the room to get over the wooden threshold on the carpet, plus the entrance door and the bathroom door smash into each other.

Our bathroom door did not close properly and the walls are paper thin!

There are no restaurants immediately next door though.

On the 27th housekeeping barged into our room without a knock on the door or any announcement that they wanted to come in.

There is some wear and tear in the hallways and doors to the rooms.

There were small issues such as a squeaky bathroom door which you do not appreciate during the night and a coffee maker which had no coffee pot.

The bathroom door would not close all the way (due to loose trim) and the layout of the room made it impossible to get into the bathroom in the wheelchair.

However, the door to the bathroom was quite beat up and the fan/light in the bathroom didn't have a cover on it.

The problem is the old doors between rooms (and door to hallway) - they're hollow, not solid, which allows any and all noise/conversations from the adjoining room to enter.

HOWEVER the walls are literally paper-thin, as in we could hear the guys next door when they were just whistling.

There was another room next door that had 2 dogs in it that would yip every time a door closed

(see photo) All of this was still out in the hallway when we checked out too.

The hallway on our floor reeked like pot smoke each time we left the room.

but the hallway noise reduction needs some major work- the doors slam closed on their own and when they do you can hear them from all the way down the hall.

It was extremely difficult for a wheelchair to enter and exit the bathroom because of the narrow entrance hallway.

The rooms and hallways are a bit dark and tired,

Hallways need to be vacuumed and elevator needs attention!

A few things could be updated in the rooms and hallways

Alas with the visit last week, the hotel was undergoing a well needed & overdue decorating of the second floor corridors, which will hopefully be accompanied by some new carpets & modernization of the actual rooms.

The only negative was that there was a HUGE (estimate 50 or more) wedding party staying there with many children which meant a lot of people in the hallways, elevator and dining room.

but putting towels to  keep the smoke  out of the hallway    like really

That same night, there was a man at the hotel going up and down the hallways knocking on doors.

"Noise Level" was Quiet after I moved down the hall!

Neither the rooms or hallways smelled of smoke which was a refreshing change.

There's not much you can do with children yelling at 2:00 am in the hall.

There are no signs in the hallways pointing toward room numbers.

I could hear what sounded like a  shower or water being used since I checked in to room #338 around 8:30pm and I'm still hearing it at 2:30am.I thought I was in the last room down the hall since I'm the last door on the left and there's pallets of boxes outside my door and what looks like a broken ice machine so I'm not sure where the noise is coming from.The tv sounded like plastic was cracking when I put it on

We could hear the shower being turned on in the next room and doors being slammed in the hallway.

breakfast room was overcrowded (three sports teams staying) noisy, children running up corridors, shower was tepid despite informing front desk for three consecutive days.

Hotel was clean room was clean we have no complaints breakfast u had several choices and was clean we would book here again if we came back to Michigan.

The rooms were very clean and everything was excellent.

Shuttle picked us up after we dropped off rental car.

The location and options to park/fly out of the airport with the shuttle could not be beat.

The shuttle driver was very polite and helpful.

I anticipate the shuttle back at the end our trip will go smoothly as well.

The hotel is close to the airport and they provide an efficient free shuttle service which starts at 4:30 AM.

Shuttle bus picked us up at 6:00 and had us delivered to the airport in no time.

The employees are always very friendly whether it is the front desk clerk, breakfast staff or shuttle driver.

They were happy to send the shuttle for me

Convenient to airport with a free shuttle.

They provided shuttle service to and from the airport, made us snacks, and even spent time getting to know us in the lobby.

Stayed at the CI due to its park and shuttle feature with GRR.

but the airport shuttle driver was cheerful and efficient, even at 4 AM.

The hotel provided a shuttle to and from the wedding location -- Great Job!

Staff is helpful and attentive, there is a good continental breakfast, and they have a shuttle to the airport which is a couple of miles away.

The next morning their shuttle took me to the airport to get my car.

Shuttle service to and from airport was on time and convenient.

Park and fly is offered with reliable and timely shuttle service to Ford Airport a few miles away.

We checked out earlier then we wanted to just to get in the car to some AC.

Our ac didn’t work and had to move rooms to a smaller layout.

I booked a King, and was given a room with 2 queens without the front desk telling me they where switching my booking because they gave my room to someone else and all the king rooms were now booked.

Air conditioning was not to loud like other hotels I’ve been to.

You can turn on the constant fan of A/C unit.

We did have the heater stop working in one of the rooms the 2nd day,

In addition, there were two room issues:
- Fan for heater DNW.

but the heating unit was right at the side of the bed.

The heater was so loud it woke me up through earplugs and even after switching rooms the next day which was much better it was still too loud.

Freezing pool and they overcharged my card.

AC would not stop running so i couldn't sleep well.

Only complaint was the AC unit was pretty loud.

The only draw back was that the air conditioner was quite loud and made it so I couldn't get a good night's sleep.

but full of the cigarette smell inside the room, the heating (air conditioner) was right in the room (next to the bed)and it's very loud and distributing to sleep, TV channels were very basic and should offer more varieties.

Not sure how safe it is to have space heaters all over.

Hate the A/C, when it kicked on, it's so noisy.

but there were two other, less important, issues,  The air conditioner is very, very loud and when it cycles off, it emits a long, loud whine that sounds like some animal being tortured.

Pool needed a better heater and I would have preferred a bath to a shower.

The one negative we were disappointed in is that the bathrooms in the rooms are beyond compact.

Just old, outdated furniture decor and rooms and poor execution of amenities.

Staff was not responsive to water leak in room.

After flushing the toilet it made strange noises.

But the toilet paper was single ply, cheap tp.

Took long time to shower to remove soap, hand held would be nice.

When we arrived in our room the bathroom toilet was not clean and actually had something (who knows what) in the bowl.

Unfortunately, I smell some funky and smoky smell time to time. My observation is that someone in the hotel smokes something like cigar or marijuana, so the smoke is floating up throughout the ventilation (especially on the toilet.)

The negatives with the stay: the carpeted room had not been cleaned in some time, only one bar of soap in the bathroom (why not two so there is one for the shower and one for the sink), and then for breakfast the next morning, the coffee was not refilled.

- Shower drain location meant you had to cover drain with bath mat to stand in right place.

Clothes tags in the drawers and the shower pressure was AWFUL.

One last little thing: it's not my floor, and the glass shower panel is really chic,

The beds were comfortable,  The included breakfast was good except for one morning when there were no eggs or Raisen Bran.

Very comfortable beds, room is always clean, and staff is great!

Our room was very clean and the bed was comfortable.

The pillows and bed were very comfortable as was the room set up.

The beds were comfortable and the room was large enough for us and our two daughters.

The rooms were super nice and the beds were comfy - our stay was awesome!
