This is the best 5* All-Inclusive we have ever stayed at!

The food is brilliant and the drinks equally so (I’d be surprised to get better at another all inclusive resort)

To keep this short and sweet, the overall experience is fantastic.

Where as Sani is full board (you pay for drinks) Ikos group of hotels are all inclusive.

Then at four pm, out comes the reassuring gin trolly to take advantage of, remember all inclusive.

The IKOS all inclusive / Infinite Lifestyle concept truly is something special in the hotel business,

It's the staff, food and overall attentiveness that make this resort stand out from any other All Inclusive hotels we've visited.

Ikos Olivia is one of the best 5 star All inclusive hotels that someone can visit.

Normally with all inclusive there is compromise on the quality of the food

It’s voted the Best All-inclusive Hotel and I feel they deserve to have this title.

but as it’s all inclusive you can order whatever you like and more than 1 dish.

Just back from an amazing week in IKOS Olivia, had been reading all the reviews before we went & we certainly weren’t disappointed, having been to many 5star AI IKOS is by far the best, can’t imagine going anywhere else now that we’ve discovered this gem.

Overall, this resort is the best all inclusive experience we have had, and we have stayed at many over the years.

My partner and I returned from Ikos Olivia recently, and this was definitely the best all inclusive experience we've had to date.

I am happy to garantee the quality of the list of the drinks as the best i've had in an all inclusive!

So in summary, if AI is your thing, IKOS Olivia can't be faulted.

As a couple with no children we would not normally choose an AI Resort, simply because we enjoy going out and eating outside the hotel.

We made use of the mini on offer (included in the all inclusive) and had a fab day out exploring another island.

Forget about any all inclusive resort you have ever been to.

Possibly one of the best all inclusive hotels we have visited so far.

The staff are all friendly and can not do enough to help.

The best thing about this place is the staff, who without exception were amazing - friendly, thoughtful, welcoming, whether by the pool, in the restaurants or at the sports centre.

Special mention to Elena in customer services, George and Stefan in Ouzo, Spiros in Antaya, Fotini in Flavours.The gardens are beautifully landscaped, full of ancient olive trees and mature palms; the beach is well supplied with sunbeds and attentive 'beach buddies' (well done, Betty)  and all the staff are friendly, courteous and helpful.

The staff are so friendly and attentive, they want to make sure everything is perfect for your stay.

All the waitresses and waiters at the restaurants were always very attentive, very friendly and always joking with my mother.

But most importantly, the staff couldn't be more friendly and attentive.

He was so friendly and great with the kids.

One of the strongest points of this 
hotel is without a doubt the extremely friendly staff.

All employees are friendly at all times and the guest is pampered from all sides.

Klia from Helios bar also deserves a special mention, a pleasant friendly young lady who always remembered your drink…..

but a few specific call outs are: Olga, Areti and Antonis who looked after us so well by the pool, Aggelos the super friendly chap who keeps your sunglasses/glasses sparkling clean, Klea at Helios who was always so smiley even behind her facemask (all the staff continue to wear facemasks all the time), George, Georgia and Stefan at Ouzo who always looked after us impeccably each time we visited, Maria at the Lobby Bar who got me a special beer for the week, and Stamatis at Flavors.

The staff is amazingly friendly and helpfull and will do anything to make your stay an unforgettable one.

So friendly - thank you for working out with us daily.

All of the staff are amazing, we would like to mention the staff on the deluxe desk, Sortis working at the main pool, Ivan who was friendly and helpful and all the staff at the deluxe pool- Michael, Dimitris & the lifeguard (sorry cant remember her name).

All staff from the cleaners, beach buddy’s,life guard’s, waiting staff, managers, spa & sports staff & the deluxe team were so very helpful, attentive & friendly.

however Athina (from Flavours) really stood out as she was so friendly and welcoming.

Katerina was very friendly and personable and made our stay one to remember, thank you, we will be back.

You'll also finish your holiday immeasurably less well off

All the staff were amazing, without exception, every single one of them going out of their way to serve us and make our holiday so memorable.

I would suggest that place for anyone who want to be happy during the holidays.

A quick temperature test in the taxi on arrival,  a civilised one-on-one check-in with a glass of champagne, a clean superior double sea view room with a bottle of champagne and fruit, and printed confirmation of the first three restaurant choices all made for a relaxed start to our two-week holiday.

The food is the best food I’ve experienced on a holiday.

Thank you Ikos for making this very cold beach holiday as pleasant as it could be.

I have no hesitation in recommending this resort and holiday to anyone 5 Star.

The deluxe team of Stephanie, Anastasia and Despoina went above and beyond to ensure an amazing holiday, at no point were we told no to anything.

Stayed at the Olivia for 10 nights and apart from some very cool and wet days, it was a lovely holiday.

The manager Vasillis and his staff’s wish is to make your holiday as perfect as they can and that anything is possible.

Everyone tries to ensure that you have a great vacation.

Guest relations led by Katerina were simply outstanding and they did everything to ensure our holiday was amazing.

We were really looking forward to our holiday abroad after 2 years of not getting away.

She kept us topped up with lovely cocktails and was great with our children.

but is excellent at his job along with George in Ouzo who was also exceptional and made quite a lasting memorable impression on our 8 year old granddaughter, she too absolutely loves this hotel and has accompanied us on several occasions.

A simple curfew banning young children from the restaurants after, say, 8.30, would suffice.

Perfect family get away if you have children.

Special shout out to Manolis for the spectacular cocktails, Zach and Christos for the sports, and to Beth and the kids club team for looking after our children so well.

We have just returned from Ikos Olivia after the most relaxing 9 days in a long time even with 2 children (7&4).

although I didn’t go to the Asian after the first visit as I didn’t think it was as good as the others (although still nice) and didn’t have much the children wanted.

The buffet at Flavours was very pleasant and great with kids.

Sometimes walking around, you can see the staff gently pushing a pushchair around the pool with a child fast asleep – so assuring.

The pool was really warm and the kids spent loads of time in it.

but he recently welcomed his first child, and hopefully he knows now, that I am talking about him.

The resort is extremely family friendly and there were lots of young children here

but I would definitely recommend if you have kids or if you don’t.

- the kids club was so good, our 5 year old didn't want to come out.

Separate adults only areas on the beach and restaurants meant everyone was happy - children well catered for - even a Nutritionist to help manage dietary requirements, a real plus for anyone worried about allergens. We had the pleasure to meet the assistant food and beverages manager, Vasilis Liras (what a lovely person!)

A suggestion maybe to the hotel, would be to make sure all children have vacated the 4 main restaurants by 8.30pm so everyone else can have their meal in peace.

If you’re an old hand at Ikos Olivia you probably know to plan months ahead - we didn’t and ended up really struggling to get what we wanted and with the hotel trying to farm us out to external restaurants which have poor reviews on here (we stuck with the buffet instead, which is good).

but availability and price were poor, however this is a very small thing.

Other guests 
There were some very challenging guests for the poor staff during our stay, there were occasions I would describe behaviour as borderline abusive or at best degrading

Unbelievably bad service, food was mediocre and our stay was generally very poor.

The a la carte restaurants were a bit hit or miss, we found the Asian to be average, and the Italian was poor on the 2 occasions we dined there, having to send back a number of dishes for missing ingredients (no cream or mushroom in a mushroom and cream pasta), the french restaurant served very good food

Beach service & restaurant service for drinks was poor.

In 4 stays this year I have not come across one poor member of staff.

I also think the dine out options are poor.

We’ve been to a few all-inclusive resorts before and sometimes the entertainment is really poor.

I think this rating is probably 3.5 stars if it was possible as it just can't hit the 4 due to poor service at meals.

We have stayed at all inclusives before where you have to wait ages to be served drinks, limited menu choices and poor quality beverages,

however if you go further down in the village there is not much to see other than a big contrast between the luxury resort and a poor village (unfortunately).

We didn't have one experience of poor customer service from start to finish (airport transfer, restaurants, poolside, beach, bar, cleaning.

Also the wine selection is rather poor and not of the high quality you would expect if it was a high end restaurant.

We ate in all the different restaurants and never had a poor meal.

MAIN BAR: in the main building, very poor lighting in there and poor seating arrangements.

And, after all, it was the end of the season and the poor dears must have been exhausted.

The weather was unusually poor during our stay with only 2 days out of 7 with good weather

The programme for the older kids was quiet poor and not appealing.

We found the service in the Asian restaurant was poor; starters not arriving together with a 10 minute gap, 3 over enthusiastic waiters constantly checking and repeating the same questions throughout the meal, opening more wine than we had asked for and completely forgetting to take a dessert order.

However its the staff that go above and beyond.

Very few have so many staff who really care about your stay and go out of their way to ensure you are having a great time.

We were pampered by wonderful staff and enjoyed the most amazing food!

You really do not want for anything here and nothing is too much trouble from the staff which is why we keep on returning.

They were so helpful, getting a doctor, we couldn't fly , and they made it possible for is to stay in our same room.

However its the staff that go above and beyond are what really separate this place from any competitors.

Despite it being end of season, staff and service were wonderful.

There were many stand out staff (Betty, Olga, Ana, Stefan, Adriana etc) far too many to mention

The staff, accommodation and food are out of this world.

The staff don’t use the word ‘no’, whatever you ask for they will make happen if possible.

Generally all the staff are very nice and go out of their way to help, not because they are trained to do so

Entertainment, different shows each night with professional dancers and singers who exploit the brilliance of the chorographer to the utmost.

It was cold, processed and not much variety.

The pools are not heated and are quite cold for our liking.

Food a bit cold, aside from the two items selected to have grilled.

There were some cold dishes, including the bacon at breakfast

I was disappointed in the cold temperatures and general salty taste to most dishes.

Drinking Water:
The hotel offers freely available cold water bottles that are single use plastic.

but cold hot dogs and ham and cheese toasties (with barely any cheese and one tiny thin bit of ham) , on the third day it looked like someone has taken a bite of it then kicked it round the room.

We didn’t ever have to get out because we were getting too cold.

- Mosquitos - saw 2
- Cold food - was all fine
- Lack of food variety - Besides breakfast (which I’d expect to be similar) there was so much variety if you don’t have the pallet of a child
- Grilling your own food at green and grill - loved it! Something a bit different and the waiters were really helpful (specifically Vasilis who made time to help out, explain how it worked and I could tell he really loved Greece!)

one child was sat there waiting for his pizza  he received it after everyone had finished eating and it was burnt and cold.

We found the selection at each meal time to be extensive with plenty of options on hot and cold food, so that we never got bored of the food in our 10 day stay.

however food is cold all the time unless it’s fresh from a chef bringing out to restock.

Pools - 

People moaning about the pools being cold, honestly get a grip.

Sadly my little boy wasn't really able to use the pools as they were to cold for him, he was shivering after 2 minutes or so in the water.

It can be quite repetitive and mostly either luke warm or cold.

Food - 
Overall ok - can agree with the other reviews that I found it a bit bland and also can be cold.

The highlight was definitely the friendly team at the spa.

The bars are good & the majority of staff really friendly & helpful.

On positive notes most of the staff were friendly and helpful.

All of them are astonishing, friendly, helpful and really increadible.

Staff generally - all very friendly and helpful throughout the resort.

The staff in housekeeping are fantastic, they are friendly and did a great job every day.

however READ ON

Rooms are lovely, pools fab, outside staff very friendly.

The staff in the complex were all very friendly and nice, always helpful and courteous.

Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful.

The reception staff were professional, not necessarily friendly

The TUI reps were all fairly helpful and friendly too.

Was told before all staff are extremely friendly and all speak and say hi.

STAFF
Our experience was faultless - genuinely every person we encountered was friendly, helpful and polite.

They were so helpful, friendly and  attentive.

A lovely hotel with fantastic friendly staff.

The staff in both bars are so friendly and work so hard and there is waiter drink service so you don’t even need to move from your sunbed!

Most of the hotel staff were friendly and helpful at all times.

We stayed in a private pool room which was the highlight of the holiday.

but great for family’s.All in all had a fantastic holiday and would return with family, but would class it a 4 star hotel.

Having just returned from an 11 night holiday at the TUI Blue Lagoon Princess, I will try to give an honest & constructive review from my/our point of view.

Tuis Kids club was the saving grace (used for 5 morning sessions for the elder 2 and 2 evening parties) and our ability to create our own fun and games as a family saved the holiday for us.

but fantastic reviews and recommendations we was so looking forward to our first family holiday abroad!

This was heartbreaking to hear, as he had been so excited about going on holiday.

We thank her very much because she made our vacation even more beautiful!

Overall very pleased with our holiday, I would travel here again!

We stayed at the Blue Lagoon in August and as our first family holiday we had a great time for 7 nights.

Whether this was due to time restraints we do not know 

A great resort, brilliant holiday.

Honest review from a family who were in need of a well deserved break.

So much space around the pools, no need to reserve beds which we have never experienced during school holidays and i put this down to them having so many swim up rooms.

In summary, if you want a pretty good value for money family holiday, with everything onsite you need, you wont go far wrong with this hotel.

We enjoyed our holiday mainly because our three year old had such a good time.

The longest I waited was 10 minutes which in honesty I didn’t mind as gave me a break from the kids and a read of my book while I waited.

The Watersports team are so professional and definitely a highlight of our holiday.

We are here now on day 2 and I’m already dreading our holiday ending.

The tui reps came out and did a splash time session in the baby pool occasionally which was nice!

Especially when there are so many kids, you’d expect them to all be in the pools,

Tui's girls Marit, Linea, Rosie, Shannon, Cloe, Nicola.

Laura, Lilley, Chloe and Mia were absolutely brilliant and I cannot be more thankful to them for putting smiles on my children's faces and allowing us some time each day as a couple.

Kids didn’t mind tho, slides very good as well.

The kids / baby club is brilliant, the tui staff are amazing, my daughter loved going, she was there twice a day!

All the staff seemed happy to be there and were always pleasant and great with kids.

My grandson uses a buggy and this was catered for.

KID FRIENDLY & ENTERTAINMENT- You couldn’t ask for more from the TUI entertainment staff, never a dull moment and always smiling, they really do put on a show for you.

Loungers on beach 2 star hotel standard

Over all if you have toddlers good hotel..but even then you have problems with your buggy as there is so many parked in reception you might lose yours.

Our son is Gluten free and they were AMAZING with this!

It was my little ones first time in baby club and the girls were brilliant!

We spent quite alot of time at the pool with the waterfall beside the snack bar, my son had swimming lessons with Isa (who also was amazing).

If we didn’t enjoy watching our daughter have so much fun it wouldn’t have been a nice holiday.

although I think additional staff would be beneficial for this as the poor waiter was running back & forth trying to deal with diners in the Sea Resto Amphitrite at the same time as dealing with us.

Why I’ve given it a star less, they are very poor, especially the beer.

Our poor son was so bored, constantly asking to go home everyday.

The hustle and bustle and the lack of cleanliness in the usual main dining room - simply not at the level of 5 stars, maybe 2/3 stars, dirt, food on the floor, poor service from the waiters, unbearable noise, a very, very big disappointment, there was simply no desire to eat breakfasts and dinners .

Due to the poor quality of the main restaurant, we checked “the grill”, advertised as a fancier restaurant.

but the quality was very poor and a lot of the time was far too salty.

They missed at least 5 of our 11 nights there which feels poor.

Unfortunately some of the cocktails are really poor quality tasting.

I expect the reviews saying the food variety was poor are because they only eat beige food.

but this ruined our evening and upset the wife, really really poor.

We resorted to going to a nearby bar to get drinks as the service was that poor and they won’t serve alcoholic drinks unless beer or wine.

However,  poor communication skills on TUIs behalf.

On the other hand, the drinks service was poor and several times we had an entire meal without being offered a single drink.

Main let down was the food , very poor , don't bother with the alacart it's just as bad , we went out too eat last 5 nights even though we were all-inclusive,  Drinks are very poor aswell , beer about 3% , had no towels in our room last might of stay

but everything else was pretty poor quality with much of it dry and luke warm.

Beautiful resort.the entertainment is amazing, all staff are great with kids.

This was followed by a show featuring either the TBots or Captain T for the children which was bearable and our 9 year old enjoyed the #Live section

Quiz was more fun & silent disco was good,

The hotel had evening entertainment for adults in the sea resto amphitheater upon booking and in the main bar, as well as for children in the outdoor theatre.

Entertainment - our daughter loved watching the evening entertainment.

Entertainment through the day looked good, didn’t get involved

but every night is the same, more of a mini disco would be great for the younger ones!

Wouldn’t rate the entertainment for adults.

but definitely not as good as mini discos we’ve been to before :(

When we wanted premium drinks (ie Frozen Strawberry daiquiri/ pornstar martini) we were made to feel like we were really putting the staff out or they weren’t well enough equipped with the right ingredients- don’t advertise them if you can’t provide them.

9) Food - breakfast, you couldn't possibly want for more, they cook eggs on request, the omelette is amazing, lunch, I prefer the taverna just because of the sea view, food is different everyday and tasty.
