Plenty of sun, beautiful beaches, clear sea, untouched nature, excellent local cuisine,fish specialties, domestic wine, also very romantic place for couples, very friendly staff.

The bay is beautiful, the water being crystal clear

The hotel is situated right on the sea so as you can expect, there are good views of the sea, surrounding bays and the mountains.

but a brief stroll back to the friendly Taverna back in our 'own' cove saw us fed and watered and a lot happier!

We were greeted by a very friendly gentleman who made us feel very welcome.

Jakov Rubin and his team are incredibly friendly and will send a boat across the bay to bring you to the hotel for lunch, dinner or drinks.

We stayed half board and was offered a fish or meat choice, we were disappointed with the the food as on the hotel website their emphasis is on the quality and local produce, neither of which we felt we experienced.

We were a little worried because it meant that the hotel restaurant was really our only option for food besides driving all the way to Jelsa,

My wife decided she wanted a pizza and as Timun advertises itself as a restaurant and pizzeria all the way from the main road which is a 5 km drive down a often single track road with many blind bends together with four hairpin bends it seemed the only place to go!

It's about an hours drive from Hvar Town and there are other smaller towns which are pretty and worth a visit.

Quite unusual nowadays, we had to pay for wifi.

We were outraged, we paid the octopus and the drinks and left.

Having got there I was told there was no draft beer only quite expensive bottled beer

We spent our days swimming and chatting and eating the delicious food from the restaurant.

but it is off the beaten path enough to where you want to go see it and check it how to for either a meal were to stay.

We chanced upon this place for an evening meal and the food was excellent.

We went there with four people for diner.

Gastro: We any day different dinner  all is very very good !

but we didn't need to worry- the food was fantastic!

The portions were big and the food was tasty, the prices are fair for Hvar.

We went just to the restaurant (not to the hotel) to eat some lunch.

but ok. We enjoyed the meals but are used to food in Europe.

We found it very tranquil and it was an excellent location to sit and chill out with a cool drink and some tasty food.

We had intended to stay the afternoon swimming, eating and drinking at Timun's

Waiter was very polite and we found there the best pizza in Hvar Island  we have ever eaten.

An uninterested waitress who had Britpop blasting out from the speakers, presumably for her own benefit, as we were the only customers.

The view is unforgettable, the natives are very hospitable ,the see is green, not blue .

I had a Room with a view and it was incredible.

The view is excellent and surroundings was very quiet.

Our room had magnificent sea view, with nice furniture.

Our room had a park view - basically back of the hotel away from the sea.

The rugged country side and the huge mountains on the Croatian mainland are a dramatic contrast to the clear blue sea.

The place can't be better located on Hvar, not far away from some of the best beaches on the island.

Can only recommend if you wish to enjoy nature, escape crowds and enjoy unspoilt beaches!

The location in a small bay together with a few other apartments was perfect for our family with two small kids.

The apartment was clean and tidy and you have direct access to an amazing tiny bay.

Also possibilities to nice walks to next bays.

there were bays around our bay, you could swimm or paddle to.

The area is very peaceful, with few people around and a lot of space on the beach.

Its setting, the view from the terrace, the isolation from crowds, the nature all around us, the cosy beach as well as the apartment inside.

Excellent spot to relax and enjoy swimming in well appointed accommodation in a friendly atmosphere.

They were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, and we would recommend this apartment for anyone wanting a quiet break.

The owner is involved in every detail personally, the scenery is simply stunning and there are a lot of activities to do around.

The kitchen was well equipped, the views from the balcony were beautiful, and the wifi was faultless, with decent speed.
