Our 5 year old was always welcome to join us for dinner and staff were extremely friendly and accommodating.

We received a wonderful friendly smile and welcome from Llias and then Katerina (the Director of Guest Experience) who introduced herself to us and also welcomed us to Aria (despite her being exceptionally busy), she never makes you feel like you are taking too much of her time.

From Vicky and her team on the front desk, to Theo, Karina and Thomas (deluxe) who roam the grounds ensuring staff are catered for wherever they are across the resort and whatever time of day, not to mention Daniel who drives around in his buggy to find you rather than searching for him - often taking us 20ft to our room catching us walking back from the beach…The restaurant staff are friendly and knowledgable and even offer double portions on request.

The staff are the jewel in the crown at Ikos and are professional, friendly and just outstanding in every way.

They were all without exception welcoming, courteous and friendly.

From the airport transfer with baby car seat included to the gorgeous views to the caring and friendly staff who played with our baby to how clean everything was to the amazing pools with pool bars and ice cream and oh I could go on and on.

The staff at all locations were very attentive and friendly, especially to the kids.

The hotel is beautiful and all the staff are so friendly and helpful.

Every member of staff greeted us with a friendly welcome and looked after our every need.

Stavros, Markita, Alex, two Anna’s, pool bar staff at beach and adult hotel, even down to the gardeners, housekeepers and security everyone was polite and friendly.

Vickie checked us in with grace & champagne; GM Dimitrios was always floating throughout checking in w/guests; Dora in the spa was magnificent; Stavros in Flavors was friendly, helpful; Anastasia at the deluxe pool was amazing!

All the staff are very friendly, and happy to provide recommendations for things to do and places to eat throughout your stay.

As others have said, most of the staff are brilliant, friendly and well trained.

The frustration for us was when on the roof terrace, staff service was fairly poor with a very slow service and incorrect orders arriving.

The service on the beach on the deluxe area is poor, we really had to keep chasing.

(Annoyingly I did see a few guests give out to some poor member of staff because they were waiting, might be worth expanding the service so staff don’t get abused?)

We visited Ikos Aria at the end of May just after the bought of poor weather.

After some poor Facebook messages regarding bad service, cold food and other imperfections, we were a bit anxious for our return towards Ikos Aria.

Over 11 nights we had only a few poor service experiences.

1 poor couple were really poorly for a few days.

but some papers were poor, hence the rating.

Two holidays we felt like test dummies as the staffing was very poor and service slow.

Slight gripes would be check-in whilst very well executed is a bit lengthy after a longish flight, the room service wine was crap and the service in Kos restaurant was poor

It’s a poor state of affairs if you can’t eat breakfast without a fix of a device.

Sadly a few other guest said they also had poor service and experience at Kos

We would like to see a few more adult only sections or evenings, It wasn’t a massive problem

The service at Ouzo was poor despite it being half full, we waited a long time between mains and desserts having to find someone to order desserts.

Room for improvement - 
Turn down service was very poor with wet towels being left overnight when we would usually get these replaced.

Those poor reviews were not our experience at all!

but he effectively blamed us for going at that time - very poor management and a bad attitude to guests 

On previous visits to other IKOS resorts restaurants were open for breakfast and lunch , but now most are closed so you need to go to the one that’s opened where it’s very busy or go to the buffet .

After being spoiled in Andalusia last year, we felt that the quality and presentation of dishes was average at best, and we had poor meals at Oliva, Provence and Fresco.

There were aspects of our stay where to be honest the standards could only be described as poor.

Some of the food was pretty good (shout outs to Seasons,Ouzo for the daily lunch BBQ and Oliva),but most meals were pretty average to poor - and fell way short of the culinary delights of Ikos Andalusia.

Very beautiful and clean, a very pleasant place to relax alone or as a couple, I would not recommend it for a large group. The hotel itself is romantic and has a large territory, the staff is polite))

George took the time and a lot of patience and detailed explanations of how to change game.

All staff are polite, engaging and pro active.

Service was slower than expected and attentiveness was lacking compared to our previous stay at Oceania.

The staff truly make this hotel & they work tirelessly to make sure you have the best time.

They were polite, welcoming, they would always suggest a different cocktail or they would come up with their own recipes depending on what we wished for  They were eager to please.

He ensured his team were able to help with anything that had gone wrong and ensured the rest of our stay was thoroughly enjoyable.

We loved the Nespresso coffee machine and the well stocked 'drinks fridge' and the views of the sea made us smile every day.

Our children absolutely loved the kids club and creche and the ladies there were just amazing.

😂,  Tomas who we grew to know over the week and enjoyed his sense of humour.

Service is all with a smile and the staff are incredibly attentive and professional without being obtrusive.

Perhaps some of the sun beds etc are getting a bit tired and worn

Only cons I would say is the rooms could do with some fresh paint and bathrooms maybe modernising, as it seems dull -

Bathrooms in the room in desperate need of refurb, horrible baths, paint peeling of the walls, definitely in need of maintenance  and tnt.

In our room, and other people’s, you had to step up into the bath for a shower.

We had to have cold showers in the morning.

On entry, hotel seems clean and friendly, when checking in, we were given no information regarding the hotel, only a green card which you have to take with you to dinner (you are given the same seat in the same time slot, which is a pain) We we’re taken to our room, smaller than we expected with an outdated bathroom and radiator coming off the wall.

The rooms are dated and the bathroom (especially the shower) it’s in dire need of an update.

Broken sink which can not be emptied and just overflows.

There wasn't enough toilet roll supplied, certainly not enough considering the amount of upset tummy we had.

The rooms are clean, bathrooms need a little update.

The only gripe is in the bathroom there was plaster coming off the wall,

We watched England ladies in the WC final and they could have staffed the paid bar and used this as a real money spinner

however the bathrooms do need a little updating (but that may just be my opinion).

The down points were the rooms which need updating especially the bathrooms and the food was disappointing with little variety.

I asked the clear, do you think it's right that guests are expected to shower in a bath that visibly looks dirty.

The rooms I thought were fine, some have complained that the bathrooms need modernising.

Both my parents made great bonds with Alina and scandal  who are always in a positive mood and have time to sit and have chats .Few things could change is the bedroom key cards would fail once or twice a day and you would need to go back down to reception after a hot day in the sun  would need to get the card  recharged , another thing in my bed room with my sister they could replace the
 painted wall where the shower taps are and replace it with tiles we did notice that the paint was coming off the walls and was going mushy.

I can highly recommend this hotel the food is amazing the entertainment is absolutely fantastic this is our second year everyone is friendly the service is top quality first class entertainment great atmosphere we will definitely be coming back rooms are absolutely spotless I totally recommend for couples family and children always things to do day and evening.

It’s a very Beautiful I go with my family for the first time and I like it so much I meet here a lot of kind people and they’re very friendly and helpful the food was great the bar staff they was always in the time they don’t let you wait for the drink and all appreciate for the entertainment team they was always kind with kids and we enjoy the shows with them I’m sure I will come back in the future

It has been a really good trip I’ve enjoyed what I have seen the animation team are very friendly and the bar staff are helpful and can’t do enough for u the only downside is the restaurants as u don’t always know what you’re eating till you taste it as the food isn’t well labelled

It is my first time in tunisia, I really loved it, its a really beautiful hotel and friendly staff and there is alot of activities to do!

The negatives include a number of things, including poor quality of food, which lead to poisoning for four days of the trip, and a lot of the male staff are very disrespectful to women and are very sleazy and slimy and constantly trying to hit on women, irrespective of being in a couple
The alcohol is watered  down and all the staff constantly rely on tips to provide a good service.

The silicone sealant around the bath was mouldy and the finish was poor.

Internet very poor, slow and non existant at times.

From what I could see, poor food hygiene and cleansiness of the hotel.

Didn't use the Chinese has had poor reports and £16 per person extra.. all breakfast food was half cooked or cremated and cold , Thank god for the egg man.

but I assume poor hygiene standards in the kitchen.

For an all inclusive hotel, their "snack options" are very poor.

But in this hotel it would seem that no tips equals poor to non existent service where you are practically ignored by some.

but the quality of reception could be poor which was annoying and something the hotel could look at improving.

The quality of fish they served was very poor mostly with very small bones.

Housekeeping is a very poor standard.Our fridge was full of mould .

Always had something to eat, sometimes the breakfasts were a bit poor.

but the food is poor, the spring rolls are greasy, soup OK, my chop suey contained 9 brussel sprouts.

However, we will not be returning due to the poor maintenance, cleanliness and RUDE BAR STAFF.

The food was mainly aimed at Tunisian tastes, the indoor pool was overrun by local children making it impossible to enter, the room was basic as was the bathroom which was in poor condition.

The food service as part of the ‘all inclusive’ was of a poor quality, with little flavour and little or no Tunisian food on offer - which is why we came to Tunisia in the first place.

Well the wife was first on the Wednesday and Thursday lucky we had Imodium with us , I then came down with it on Sunday 8th and was either in the room or reception area till the end of our holiday with bad stomach craps chronic diarrhea hot sweats.

The water from the taps smell like mold, the corridors smell like the stomach bug I had caught just after a day of being here, which lasted the remainder of the holiday despite going through a pack of immodiums within 24hrs.

Mold, dirty mirrors, dusty lights and a rusty bin.

Same every morning though stale cereals/bread

Hair dryer useless
A kettle appeared on day 4

There was a constant smell in the hallways to the bedrooms with many people coming down with bad stomachs, and coughs and colds.

And the first room smelt of excrement as soon as you enter.

Another hotel guest kindly gave me liquid disinfectant

The room was filthy, had finger marks of last occupants all over the glass doors and tops, looked like the patio doors and mirrors had been wiped down with a dirty damp cloth.

Lots of smoke and staff running around with fire extinguishers,

It smelt really weird there, like wet dog.

The quality , of food is the bottom of the tree, and repeated all the time, turkey leg and horrid smelling fish with beef stew every day, the same on the Beach BBQ  with maybe pork or liver some days..

but one night booked into the panache we were not impressed (nor were other couples we spoke to) it was basically the same food but most of it felt stale and personally found the main diner better.

The bathroom was filthy and never cleaned properly once, the restaurant needs to have 3 sittings not 2 as the noise and social distance is non existent.

The corridor carpets need replacing it seems that bleach has been spoilt in many places.

but everywhere still has plenty of flies, tables not cleaned & trollys used are filthy!

We went our room on arrival, room was dirty mould on 

ceiling bathroom dirty, bath seemed like it’s never been cleaned dirt in corners of bath, bedding was smelly and 

sweaty and was not clean, mattresses smell and pillows all smell went immediately to reception asked to change was dealt rudely, reply, there isn’t any?

- The pool towels are also stained to absolute hell looks like there's burns on them among other unknown stains.

The staff are incredible very welcoming and kind 100% recommend and definitely come back, the beach is at your foot steps the pool outside is stunning the entertainment is spot on the spa is incredible the rooms are big and clean everything about this hotel is just amazing

but upon arrival at the hotel the staff make you feel extremely welcome and they are very polite in and around the hotel.

Both the bar staff, reception staff, animation staff and restaurant staff are amazing.

Booked an all inclusive holiday at this beautiful hotel costumer service was really good everyone helpful and kind rooms clean and very and very comfortable staff amazing and they have brilliant animation team who were great at providing entertainment and keeping us feeling welcome during our stay

Felt so safe around everyone and had an amazing Christmas bat staff and animation made me so comfy and warm felt amazing ans so safe !!

The staff, especially the entertainment team are brilliant and engage well with the guests.

The food is delicious and varied the rooms are nice and big  the team is too adorable.

Good sized rooms, open plan shower WC area with WC having a glass partially obscured door, so might not be to everyone's liking.

Large rooms, in need of refurb and all rooms desperately requiring a door to the bathroom and a solid/not glass door on the toilet.

The bathrooms don’t seem to have any doors so lack privacy when you wanna do ya business.

but that was mostly from the hotel next door, but all music seems to stop at 11pm so it isn’t the end of the world, in fact sometimes the entertainment next door has been quite good lol.

although we were woken up each morning at around 7.30am by the housekeeping staff yelling at each other (don’t they realise there are people sleeping behind all those doors?!!).

The toilets near the bar and main pool are terrible, bottom of the door frames sawn off, the toilet seat hanging off and the sinks are so grubby.

For instance the toilets in the public areas are not up to scratch with doors that hardly close, or toilet seats that are hanging off we found this being the case in nearly every toilet we went to.

There are just little things that could be improved, for example, the glass door to the toilet in our room, had some sort of oil sprayed on it, which looks nasty when you are inside the cubicle.

The locks on the doors of the bathrooms by the pool bar don't look great, the dustbin is also broken in the ladies.

At the beach bar there is a build up of dirt around the door area , whilst standing for a drink in the queue you’re greater with a whaft of what smells like vomit

There was a very noisy club night next door

We came to our room that had ribbons on the door, petals on the bed and were later brought a bottle of bubbles, a card and some yummy goodies.

There are NO Irons provided any any rooms due to health and safety and there is no door separating the bathroom from the main room where the bed is.

The room was very modern and in a good state of repair,apart from a faulty door lock which was promptly repaired.The room was a little small and the balcony even smaller.Probably the smallest balcony we’ve ever seen.BUT,we don’t go on holiday to spend large amounts of time in the room,so this wasn’t a huge issue for us.

We experienced the smell of the ‘water plant’ on 3 occasions in a 14 night stay- just closed patio doors - didn’t last long and was due to wind direction and position of our room.

but a glass door on the shower and toilet.

The bathroom is a slightly odd arrangement with only a glass door separating the toilet from the main room and a *very* low showerhead that lacked pressure at times (my partner is just over 6ft and couldn't stand up straight)

but the pool area was not cleaned in the whole 7 days and be careful with the glass door in the bathroom, it 
could easily take your finger off.

Friendly staff who work hard , all areas kept clean, food good cocktails could be bit hit and miss at times Really enjoyed the silent disco 
Out of the 2 pools prefered  the quite one where they served toasties and crepes

Also the lovely Kristian too as he served us most mornings and was so friendly & polite.

Lots of friendly people and lovely shops.

Elliot’s and Alex who served us our drinks in the evening, again lovely hardworking and friendly young men.

Themis on reception is as always extremely helpful and friendly and looks after the guests with a smile.

Finally, a shout out to Lorena, our favourite member of staff she made us delicious pancakes every day late in the afternoon and always greeted us with a big smile and friendly chat. She is a real credit to the hotel :)

The food was very good and the chef George a friendly person.

I can't begin to describe how friendly, attentive, and amazing the staff are and they could not do enough for us.

but really relaxing would definitely recommend.Staff were fantastic really friendly.

Of course,  it will be happened if staff know that in this hotel so poor security system, no video cameras, no recorded calls on reception,  no cameras on entrance to hotel, no security man.

Check in painful, took far too long and welcome food bag quality poor.

but they didn’t arrive until the following day which was poor.

The Latin Dancers very poor & the show boring.

The only sad thing about the hotel was the poor entertainment which was well below average cannot believe how many customers were playing cards and word searches and many were in their twenties and thirties

The room was a junior suite with hot tub & sea view ,  The shower was poor & no soap or shower gels were replaced & trying to get extra towels was hard work … I’m not going to steal the towels just would like clean ones & a few spare .

As we were talking to her, cockroaches ran around reception, her response
“They live here, what can we do?”
Ok Martina if we go to a hotel in Africa we don’t expect to see lions and tigers in reception - very poor customer service

Waiter drink service in the bar in the evening was very poor if you were sitting at a table on the fringes, we usually went and got our own it was quicker.

The best night for us was the Asian night which did make us think that it really showed how poor the other nights were.

The Italian restaurant was awful and my reason for the loss of star, we were pressured by the lady on entering the main restaurant to eat here from day one and eventually relented and booked a table, the service was poor, the food was even worse, dried up pizza which had been sitting under the hotplate for a considerable amount of time and the knuckle of pork was a gelatinous mess, we left only half eating our mains.

The other dance group were very poor and the singer very repetitive.

The guys in the bar in the evening were all so lovely, attentive, and a great laugh!

but the Oceanis always seem to employ the best staff.

Most of the staff were lovely Appart from one tui rep and the staff by the bar at evening times.

This is our second year at Oceanis Beach and again it was a fantastic time, we were welcomed back like old friends, the Hotel team went out of their way to give us the fantastic time.

but these guys mentioned deserve a special mention just from our point of view they made our honeymoon that much better.. thanks guys see you next year
