but could not sit out much due to the loud A/C unit coming on and off.

The room windows are none opening, with no choice other than having the AC on, every time it started up it was like a car ignition next to the bed, must have been woken up 10- 20 times during the night.

The only reasons why I did not give this a perfect review is because our Air Unit in the room made an awful rattling sound making it hard to sleep.

After the hot water heater was replaced we still didn't have hot water in our jacuzzi.

But by far the worst part is the smell of the room was like an unclean nursing home and the air conditioning was emitting this smell also.

Suggest adding fans in the bathrooms for ventilation and the whole facility needs recycling ♻️ at least for bottles and cans.

The HVAC unit didn't get much use as I simply kept switching on the fireplace while in the room (it is on a timer that lasts approx.

I told them we would try the AC and then we left and bought air freshener.

The a/c wasn’t very powerful and was quite LOUD all night.

I definitely would have given a 4 if it was not for the old heater.

The only reason I didn’t give five stars is the heating unit was noisy when the outside temperature dropped.

Our lamp base that should be able to plug your phone into did not work and the bathroom does not have a fan so the mirror fogs up and I had to use the hair dryer to clean it off to see.

Bathroom shower was the only cleanliness concern and ac unit could use some cleaning.

The air conditioning was loud and kept shutting off.

Bathroom is set up very strange with the handle of the shower as you walk in the shower you get freezing cold water until you turn it up.

though the maintenance replaced the air conditioning it still wasn’t effective.

The vanity is more like a shelving unit with legs which may not be the best design for a hotel room.

Front desk personnel was helpful and friendly.

All of the staff we encountered were very friendly.

The entire facility was clean, well kept, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

The bunk area is hot so I would suggest bring a little fan to help with airflow in the alcove bunk room.

The air conditioner only worked half the time.

Beds are terrible, ac units do not cool rooms .

Strange smell, room was dampish, fan in bathroom very loud, etc.

Not to mention the water damage around the AC unit that they just slapped paint on.

Our AC unit kept rattling off and on throughout the night.

Room 1206 air conditioner not good at all.

but could have been improved by switching it up from day to day and offering some different options.

The air conditioner had mold all over it.

but our floor was wet by air conditioner.

Mold throughout the room - under the a/c unit and in the shower.

The unit in the room you couldn't keep the front on it.

He showed up rather quickly and determined we need a whole new unit and we were given the option to move rooms.

Too bad their isn’t some kind of sensor to alert the desk.

The maintenance man said well looks like it needs a new unit, this one is burnt up so within 25 mins we had a brand new air unit in our room!

The rooms smell of mold, the beds are hard, the AC units have mold.

but couldn’t help noticing the ceiling fan each time we descended the stairs.

(Not closing the pool area for really no reason, hot tub and better working A/C).

After we clean the room we noticed the beds was very nasty under the blankets.

At 2:30am someone was smoking Marijuana outside our room.

but the smell in the eating area is so bad that no one eats there.

Very clean other than a bit of wet carpet smell in the hallways as it's a water resort that's expected.

I could not get passed the smell and had to wash everything once I was home.

Several days our towels smelled like they were left in the washer too long.

I witness a little girl unconscious,  not breathing, and at deaths door due to her drowning in the 4ft swimming pool.

Upon arrival our room smelled like nothing

The toilet had dried up urine running down the front of it and the inside had a dark ring.

That is when I discovered that the steps and floor in the stairwell are absolutely filthy.

There is also an older smaller outdoor pool that did have a mildew smell

The ONLY thing I have such a hard time with at this property is how many disrespectful people come to a family resort and smoke marijuana in their room or balcony.

The room smells moldy , refrigerator was so loud that you can’t sleep , ac smells as well.. the internet don’t work at all and tv channels don’t work !!

The room was nasty and smelled like strong urine.

You could smell how clean it was and not that pine sol smell either.

We bought nice cupcake for our daughter and a piece of a fudge, the lady who served us was very nice

The staff was very nice and made the check in and check out process really easy.

I spoke to the GM on duty about what I had just witness first hand and the lack.of knowledge the lifeguards had in this drowning incident and his response was, "they are certified by the red cross".

Front desk very responsive, very close to attractions on the strip.

The staff is wonderful and they really work hard to make your visit great.

There was the best apple cider ready for you as soon as you walked in the lobby and the staff were all caring.

They were extremely hyper aggressive and pushy my intention was to have a good healthy conversation and move on from there.

The front desk were hot and miss some super nice and helpful and others annoyed you had a question.

We were greeted by the smiling Jack at the door and are sorry we didn’t get to say goodbye to him and show our appreciation.

Every evening, the front desk has fresh cookies for every patron as well as lemonade.

The property is very clean and the beds exceedingly comfortable.

There’s not enough nice things to say about the Inn - from the always welcoming front desk staff, to the wonderful doormen that always seem to befriend my toddler, to Singin’ Santa, and the perfectly clean rooms.

One helpful tip, see the note in your room that tells you how to turn off the Christmas tree.

I did speak with GM and she did fix the problem of having to change rooms the last two days and she was nice.

The Inn at Christmas Place

Carpet in room was so nasty that I wouldn’t even walk on it with bare feet.

The room smelled like cat urine, the sink leaked and the carpet was wet, the driveway in and out was always blocked with scooters and wheel chairs made it impossible to be anywhere on time.

I'm hoping the carpet will be the next to update.

From what I can tell from furniture being moved/put in dumpster, they are remodeling a lot so hopefully the carpet and beds are going to be part of that.

Room was clean, carpet was worn (needs to be replaced).

The carpet in our room either had not been cleaned in years or it is the same carpet that was installed when the building was built.

Upon arrival we noticed our carpet kind of smelled.

When it came to the carpet, I did mention this to Sam and Gabby upon check-out.

My only complaint and the reason I only gave it a four and not a five is the older carpet was really dirty and turned my husbands socks black and the bottom of my feet looked like I had shoes on.

The carpet in the room could stand to be replaced.

Upon arrival, other than an outdated carpet (which is understandable due to having dogs in there), it was very nice.

The only drawback is the old carpet on the floor.

but we feel like the carpet should have been replaced or some other type of floor covering used.

Rooms smell awful- the carpet hasn’t been cleaned in 30 years.

carpet is beyond gross - they need to pull that up and replace with a laminate or something that doesn't harbor stains/germs .

but we had to deal with walking up to the 5th floor our whole stay because the elevator was down.

The only downside was the elevator broke down the second day we were there.

Had a few issues with housekeeping didn’t leave toilet  tissue and coffee with daily service and elevator out of service and staying on floor 5 this was hard.

The negative…windows of the elevator need a good cleaning.

The only negative was that our room was across from the elevator so our view was partially blocked,

The only negative thing I could say about this property, is that there was only one elevator and that isn’t really even a big deal!

The only complaint is they only have 1 elevator.

Cons: There was only 1 elevator and it was slow at times, no blackout coverings over the window and the rod to open/close the blind fell off all the time, no indoor pool

The elevator could use some extreme sprucing up and cleaning, as well as in between the elevator and the shaft when it goes up and down, as there were cobwebs and dirt in the view during the ride up and down the elevator, so this could be improved.

A few drainage issues in sink and shower and elevator was a little slow at times.

Outside places (elevator, walkways) need more cleaning attention.

The only suggestion is for someone to look at the elevator.

The elevator was really dirty and  when we got to our room, the first thing my son noticed was a piece of chewed gum stuck to the ceiling.

My only complaint was that they kept the empty luggage carriers near the only elevator so with the small location it made for a  tight area when people were waiting for the elevator, getting luggage racks and/or entering the rooms that were close by.

The only thing that needs a lot of improvement on is the elevator.

even though we were next to the elevator.

We stayed in room 110, located next to the elevators, there are no interior hallways so all rooms overlook the parking lot and some view the parkway.

The staff is always friendly and helpful.

House keeping and the maintenance/grounds crew are always friendly and do a GREAT job!!

It was a comfortable stay - and all the employees were exceptionally friendly.

Everyone at the resort was SUPER NICE and friendly!

The beds and pillows were comfy and the front desk staff were super friendly.

but had to endure smoke until I took a bandanna and sprayed with cologne to mask the smell.

The pool is open 24/7 which gave the kids a way to help burn off some of that never ending energy before bed and also let the parents relax and unwind a bit before bed.

Before we arrived I was thinking that the breakfast was probably going to be stale old pancakes.

The only negative was the room smelled like mildew.

Because when we came we were booked at a different  hotel  and come to them because  the hotel  We're going to say that was nasty .

Unless smoking is banned on the breezeways by management, this will be a continuous problem.

The smell of smoke when you opened to door to go out just slapped you in the face.

I didn't have to worry about stepping in dog poop because there was geese everywhere, even the parking lot and they make a bigger mess than any dog does.

but I think it has sort of a smell to it and he let me check it out before we ever even paid for it.

but the air handler seemed to have a musty odor.

The humidity is high, only 4 stars bc of the musty smell from the carpeting.

Our view was not what I expected - We could see the Smoky Mountains, beyond the main drag road and parking area.

There was a pair of smokers that sat around it almost our whole stay smoking.

This place has it all: best staff ever,  Randy at the front desk will go above and beyond to make sure your stay is great.

The staff was great during the entire stay.

Special shout out to Randy, Sam, Mike, Jay and Dwayne who helped with everything from taking our family pictures to making sure we had what we needed to stay warm.

Hotel was nice and clean and hotel staff were nice.

The staff was so very helpful, even printing our Dollywood tickets for us.
