but could not sit out much due to the loud A/C unit coming on and off.

The room windows are none opening, with no choice other than having the AC on, every time it started up it was like a car ignition next to the bed, must have been woken up 10- 20 times during the night.

The only reasons why I did not give this a perfect review is because our Air Unit in the room made an awful rattling sound making it hard to sleep.

After the hot water heater was replaced we still didn't have hot water in our jacuzzi.

But by far the worst part is the smell of the room was like an unclean nursing home and the air conditioning was emitting this smell also.

Suggest adding fans in the bathrooms for ventilation and the whole facility needs recycling ♻️ at least for bottles and cans.

The HVAC unit didn't get much use as I simply kept switching on the fireplace while in the room (it is on a timer that lasts approx.

I told them we would try the AC and then we left and bought air freshener.

The a/c wasn’t very powerful and was quite LOUD all night.

I definitely would have given a 4 if it was not for the old heater.

The only reason I didn’t give five stars is the heating unit was noisy when the outside temperature dropped.

Our lamp base that should be able to plug your phone into did not work and the bathroom does not have a fan so the mirror fogs up and I had to use the hair dryer to clean it off to see.

Bathroom shower was the only cleanliness concern and ac unit could use some cleaning.

The air conditioning was loud and kept shutting off.

Bathroom is set up very strange with the handle of the shower as you walk in the shower you get freezing cold water until you turn it up.

though the maintenance replaced the air conditioning it still wasn’t effective.

The vanity is more like a shelving unit with legs which may not be the best design for a hotel room.

We did come back and brought our daughter;

They also pop popcorn every night in the lobby at 7 and our grandkids really enjoyed that.

We even bought tubes and floated down several times (it's a blast for kids and adults) The breakfast is tasty and impressive, and the rooms are always clean.

My grandkids loved, having a balcony overlooking the river to watch the ducks.

Breakfast was also very yummy (in the words of my grandkids).

Can feed ducks on site (kids) and the free breakfast and evening popcorn is a plus.

My son has Down's Syndrome and he went above to make him feel welcomed.

They also had activities for my daughter to do when we stayed there.

The front desk staff helped with all questions, the dining staff went out of their way to make everything great, and they even put a happy birthday sign on our door for my daughter's birthday!

Everyone was super friendly and accommodating to our group of boys.

My kid absolutely loved this place - the welcome pack she received at check-in, the Christmas decor, the bear placards for each room, feed dispensers for the ducks, the majestic heron fishing in the river, the nice warm pool, the waffles, chess on the patio, hot chocolate and popcorn by the fire, the books and board games.

My daughter loved that you could get free popcorn every night plus free coffee, tea and hot chocolate anytime.

The lobby and outdoor area are so cozy. My 14 year old son said that it was "a whole vibe."

Our son really enjoyed the pool and the selection of channels on the tv.

Will be definitely coming back with our kids next time!

The best place we ever stayed clean ,nice rooms, beautiful rooms and relaxing pool and patio and a great housekeeping crew that kept everything so clean .Then you can take a relaxing walk along the river.

We enjoyed the patio on the river with the ducks, geese and pigeons.

The patio was pleasant, and having the waterfowl being close to watch was fun.

We enjoyed the view of the river and being on the first floor with a patio, we really enjoyed the wildlife that would visit close by.

Wonderful stay from fast, friendly check in, clean and comfortable room, delicious breakfast with many hot and cold choices in the new patio dining area with a great view of the river, along with the kind breakfast attendants keeping everything stocked and clean, to popcorn in the evening.

I can tell the recently had renovations the lobby and patio are very nice.

Our ground floor room had a back patio (with chairs) that faced the river.

We enjoyed the patio and the pool while we were there, as well.

We also loved being greeted on our patio by the ducks, geese, and squirrels.

We loved the first floor patio room on the river.

We had a clean room, comfortable bed, nice pools, quiet patio by the river,  great breakfast, staff we're very pleasant.

The continental breakfast was phenomenal overlooking the river from the patio (which was heated) was just perfect I cannot brag enough on how clean and efficient everything was!

We had a nice view of the river with a patio to relax in the evenings.

The patio next to the river has seating to watch the ducks or to eat.

The bunk area is hot so I would suggest bring a little fan to help with airflow in the alcove bunk room.

The air conditioner only worked half the time.

Beds are terrible, ac units do not cool rooms .

Strange smell, room was dampish, fan in bathroom very loud, etc.

Not to mention the water damage around the AC unit that they just slapped paint on.

Our AC unit kept rattling off and on throughout the night.

but could have been improved by switching it up from day to day and offering some different options.

The maintenance man said well looks like it needs a new unit, this one is burnt up so within 25 mins we had a brand new air unit in our room!

but couldn’t help noticing the ceiling fan each time we descended the stairs.

(Not closing the pool area for really no reason, hot tub and better working A/C).

Well good thing we won’t teach our children to stay inside a building when the alarms go off, because there was an actual small kitchen fire and the fire department did come.

My teens loved the two waterslides and there was also a splash area for smaller children.

This resort is really built around the kids and made it great and fun for all ages.

After we clean the room we noticed the beds was very nasty under the blankets.

At 2:30am someone was smoking Marijuana outside our room.

but the smell in the eating area is so bad that no one eats there.

Very clean other than a bit of wet carpet smell in the hallways as it's a water resort that's expected.

I could not get passed the smell and had to wash everything once I was home.

Several days our towels smelled like they were left in the washer too long.

I witness a little girl unconscious,  not breathing, and at deaths door due to her drowning in the 4ft swimming pool.

Upon arrival our room smelled like nothing

The toilet had dried up urine running down the front of it and the inside had a dark ring.

That is when I discovered that the steps and floor in the stairwell are absolutely filthy.

There is also an older smaller outdoor pool that did have a mildew smell

The ONLY thing I have such a hard time with at this property is how many disrespectful people come to a family resort and smoke marijuana in their room or balcony.

The room smells moldy , refrigerator was so loud that you can’t sleep , ac smells as well.. the internet don’t work at all and tv channels don’t work !!

The room was nasty and smelled like strong urine.

You could smell how clean it was and not that pine sol smell either.

We bought nice cupcake for our daughter and a piece of a fudge, the lady who served us was very nice

Two positives from our stay: water park is nice (except now the pool is closed due to broken filter) and the new rooms are cute.

The water parks are a lot of fun and gated which gave a level of safety.

Love the upgrades the hotel has done - we stayed here years ago so was excited for the “water park”.

The kids enjoyed the water park,The arcade and my daughter love the bakery and The hotel is around the corner from the Maine strip.walking distance.. save gas and good excercise

Water park swimming pool is only 4 1/2 ft which is good for children.

The water park has lifeguards on duty adding extra safety and the staff was courteous and kind.

My kids and my wife loved it so that made me happy, I also like the water park bracelets also being your room key.

We really liked all of the options for water parks and pools.

The heated pool and water slide kept the kids burning energy and having fun even when we didn't  want to get out!

For families, the water slides, splash area and pool are a great addition to the amazing rooms!

You can enjoy the water slides, swim in the zero-entry pool or just relax and sunbathe.

The waterpark is fantastic for families with kids - the beach entrance pool was great, the water slides were fun, and the small kids enjoyed the small slides and splash pad area.

My 8, and 7 year old really enjoyed the water slides and even the kid area Waterpark.
