Each morning at breakfast a news sheet listed optional activities and walks etc.

The extensive activity programme this year included yoga, pilates as well as guided walks and wine tasting which meant that even on the occasional wet day there was plenty to do.

Everything you could ask for this hotel has, from a pillow menu, extra curricular activities to the superb food, and not forgetting the very helpful and friendly staff.

The facilities at the hotel are fantastic; from a games room, to a gym, pool and sauna/steam rooms.

And Hannes the wine sommelier is at the top of his game and he know so much about the wine they have on offer.

There is a very good gymn and daily activity classes as well as an indoor/outdoor pool.

There's a wide range of activities arranged by the hotel (guided walks, talks, spa treatments etc.

The Boglerhof provides a wide-range of activities such as cooking classes, snowshoeing, wine tasting, and guided hikes.

Facilities are top notch with a well equipped gym, numerous types of sauna and an activity programme which includes guided walks and wine tasting amongst others.

The hotel offers its guests several guided walks a week as wall as some fitness activities.

On the positive note, we were given a tasty free starter consisting of various bread rolls with spreads, and afterwards a small desert of ferrero-rocher type white and milk chocolate balls covered in coconut shavings.

Nice, family friendly hotel with restaurant, indoor/outdoor pool, gym, sauna, small playground, game room and reading room.

The Boglerhof always manages to lift the experience by providing great service and comprehensive meals and activities.

Many activities are organised to add a bit of glamour to what is usually just a ski holiday.

The bar just inside from the pool was also a quiet area and had a few board games.

Nikki, the bar manager, looked after us really well.

We returned a couple of days later for supper in the bar.

Loved sitting in the bar in the evening by the fire.

Large wall flat screen TV, concealed lighting, double wardrobes with lots of space, a safe, a small mini bar fridge.

The bar area is also really nice to sit in and we had a club sandwich here on our last day which was really tasty and high quality, cocktails we had at the bar were also very well made.

We especially loved the plentiful salad bar and the late dinner/ afternoon tea which was most welcome after a very long mornings walk.

A small lunch is served in the bar from 2:30 till 4.00 each day 
Dinner a 5 course Michelin star dinner with some of the best food I have eaten.

We enjoyed the cozy Bibliothek and the bar (wonderfull Mary Pickford cocktail!).

There is a large bar and lounge area that is open from 10 am - midnight.

They also provide a plethora of children's programs like face painting, arts and crafts etc..

For me it was nice to relax at the bar with a drink and book near the fireplace before dinner.

The bar is warm and cosy with a good selection of drinks.

There is a diverse choice of main courses at dinner which you can supplement with fully stocked salad bar.

The price of drinks are very reasonable and the bar staff are very friendly and attentive.

The quality of the ingredients were excellent and we particularly loved the salad bar each day.

A beautiful bar, great spa (indoor to outdoor pool) and sauna - luxury!

The waiting staff are friendly, efficient and couldn’t be more helpful.

The staff were without exception friendly and helpful, and the free lift and bus pass was waiting on our breakfast table.

The hotel is friendly and family run yet professional in every detail.

Breakfast outside in the sunshine is perfect and the lovely waiters and waitresses are so helpful and friendly.

We also had massages as part of the package we booked, these were done by Emmanuel, he is very professional and friendly.

The barmen are so friendly and boy do they know there stuff.

The wait staff by and large were friendly and helpful.

The staff are so friendly and welcoming and I loved that most of the staff were dressed in traditional Austrian dress.

Employees are also very friendly, trying their best to solve your requests.

The breakfast and the dinner, at the restaurant were amazing, just like the very professional and friendly team.

However, the biggest asset this hotel has are its staff, who are genuinely warm and friendly- from the lovely lady who cleaned the room to the owner who took the trouble to remember the names of all her guests.

The staff are very welcoming and very friendly.

The staff were wonderful and friendly, also spoke English.

It is warm, friendly, and run with efficiency and pride by staff who obviously care that their guests have a perfect holiday.

Impeccable service , excellent food , high quality wines and friendly staff.

Dinner was a marvellous 5 courses with plenty of choice and we were attended to by friendly and very helpful waitresses dressed in dirndls.

We were made to feel very welcome with all the staff being very friendly and helpful, without exception.

Dressing gowns slippers and pool towels supplied.

but getting our fresh pool towels became a daily challenge.

We had a bag containing pool towels, an umbrella and backpack hanging on hooks.

The menu was so poor I ended up ordering chicken wings which isn't really my type of food

The bouillon fondue was not very tasty, cheap wine and poor salad selection,

Particular mention had to be made of Hannes and Sven, who waited at our table.

These beverages (think something caffeinated) would usually be waiting at our table after we returned from preparing our breakfast plates!

but everyone must have the same issue because when I requested  a firmer pillow they had only one available.

At two euros for each carafe we felt this was our only criticism, especially coming from the UK where Tap water is always served without charge at dinner when requested.

We ordered bottle of wine & it should hv been put on the table as we kept running out of wine & had to request our bottle.

Although beautiful, we asked if we could be moved simply because the room did not have a bath, only a shower.

As normal the food on the three 5 course menus is just outstanding the team in the kitchen 
Are quite simply the best under the guidance of Hansi  Treichl 
.And with an  excellent wine list you can not go wrong each night it’s an evening to remember

This is one of the best hotels in Alpbach with new things on the horizon it will be the top hotel in Alpbach for years to come.

We are vegetarian and I was pleased to see a full five-course vegetarian dinner each day.

Afternoon lunch from 2-4 buffet style then a 5 or 6 dinner with choices from 3 menus in the evening the quality of which is gourmet.

Food even better than we remembered and a good vegetarian selection to be had.

The food remains excellent - with updated menus.

I sampled the wonderfully varied tasting menu on my most recent visit and I would not hesitate to recommend it.

The restaurant is traditionally decorated in an elegant alpine style.

A light lunch is served to keep you going.

We visited the Boglerhof for lunch earlier this week and had a lovely time.

The food is incredible, the staff are brilliant and nothing is too much trouble.

The Boglerhof is the perfect place for the kids, with a kids club and entertainment included - they can even eat with the other kids in kids club, leaving you free to enjoy your  amazing evening meal.

Lovely food and fantastic service, had great time and will be back there next January.

The room was superb and the food wonderful.

Last on a Friday evening they offer a tasting menu 7 course dinner £70.

but to us it was more like lunch, so much more than just cake.

The staff, food,  rooms and welcome cannot be faulted.

Dinner is a 5 star event wonderful food well done to all in the kitchen and waiting lades and gentlemen .

How could a hotel worker be so rude to a guest?

but, whilst most of the staff are really excellent, they, and the hotel is let down by two (that we encountered) staff who were inexplicably rude and unpleasant.

The staff all say hello if they pass you.

Modern flat screen TV, desk area,  comfortable beds, large wardrobe and storage.

Made to feel really welcome by all the staff.

Most importantly, the welcome and the staff are as good as before - led by the Duftners and also with long standing people such as Nikki in the Halle.

Hansi Treichl’s culinary expertise showcases the finest Austrian produce offering a tasting menu of either four or seven courses with the perfect wine pairing for each courtesy of the excellent sommelier Hannes.

Are just the best they know what you like and don’t like and it all comes with a smile.

The bar room is very elegant and welcoming, with a roaring fire and tasteful interior design.

The team at Hotel Boglerhof have thought of everything.

The staff were all extremely helpful and attentive, and made our stay so much easier.

We were served champagne by the owners wife at a special meal evening.. would definitely recommend.

The hotel is located right in the centre of the village, very near to the ski bus stop and a lovely bar.

This is the perfect hotel for solo travel,  I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys cosy bars,  early nights,  walking in the mountains,  peace and tranquility and genuine alpine hospitality.

Location wise, you really can't get more central - you're within 250m of the church, main ski hire shops, bars, restaurants and bus stop.

although  couldn’t access it through the restaurant as that was closed, so you have to walk around the building.

The staff in the Restaurant are VERY efficient and friendly , the standard of meals throughout the week was excellent and the breakfast buffet has something for everyone.

I particularly liked staying in Alpbach because it was a fairly quiet resort so there was heaps of space to snowboard on the mountains.

With the half board option, evening meals are chosen at the start of the week, usually from a choice of three, always with a vegetarian option.

Food was terrific - I would call it “wonderfully presented, wholesome home cooking” 
This was a superb base for our skiing holiday and as we were there, three other groups of guests booked for next year!

Andreas and his wife Madeleine own and run this Guest House and they are hugely passionate to ensure that you have a very comfortable stay there.

Generally, the owners and staff were engaging and very pleasant.

The location is ideal with a central position in the village and a short stroll to the very efficient ski bus service.

Both he and Madeline very helpful at all times and she calls in most meal times.

Arrived at haus andreas on Sunday 20th January they were six of us including two children and we were warmly welcomed by Andreas who checked us in and explained where everything was etc.

We arrived here on the 19th January to a beautiful warm welcome from Andreas and our Crystal Ski rep Tom.

Hotel staff were lovely, the hotel has lots of places to sit and chill, terraces, bar, viewing deck on roof and a pool and sauna area that was larger than I expected for a hotel of this size.

Pleasant bar, reception, dining areas, swimming pool and outside space.

The food is lovely and the bar is so relaxing and chilled for a drink after skiing or pre dinner.

But bar that everything was lovely, we didn’t get time to use the pool or spas as we were too tired and would have a nap when we got in haha.

However, the salad bar is extensive and includes a kidney bean salad (protein).

The room was comfortable and warm with no noticeable noise from the bar.

Hubert, who looks after the bar is entertaining, funny and a lovely man and Tanya the receptionist makes sure all your needs are catered for.

The bar tender was great and very friendly.

It is only a few locals who call in for a drink in the Bar who still do it.

but what they haven't said is the bar is right next to reception.

Alpbach Village is very quiet with a few bars and restaurants.

The bar is lovely and often has locals in it which is nice.

but plenty of choice and nice salad bar every night, and even some nice vegetarian options.

The bar was welcoming, with an open fire, and a pre and post dinner drinks were often enjoyed in the company of the efficient and friendly bar staff, Hubert & Miso.

Also there is a hydro massage bed that was great.

The rooms are big and comfortable and clean, with crisp cotton twin duvets.

Hotel is great, rooms are large and beds very comfy, extra pillows available if you ask😎, rooms have stunning views (314) and loads of room for all the ski gear.

Sometimes a little bit disorganised

  Typical Austrian beds, good size room and pleasant balcony, no noises off.

Large and spacious, with very comfortable beds (the normal Austrian twin).

Our room was delightful; a good size with very comfy bed and lovely balcony looking across at the mountains.

Rooms were fine, clean, beds fairly comfortable, plenty of towels.
