Seeing the reviews on TripAdvisor vs the general opinion of other guests we spoke to during our stay, the chef may have had an off-week.

I used the term small instead of boutique because boutique now attracts a certain clientele.

And all guests who ski have a locker room.

This is what client service should be like!

It's the kind of place where they'll go out of their way for their guests.

Food absolutely superb - evening meal beautiful.

And then the dinners - every evening we had a superb 4  course menu a'la carte to choose from and every dinner was absolutely delicious.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, the half board food we opted for was excellent, four lovely courses every evening and a great breakfast.

The shuttle to the cable car is superb and the food in the restaurant also superb.

Probably everything is perfect: maybe the three missing things are an outside warmed up pool, tea to drink in the spa (like at Portillo in Val Gardena) and food is not that good, because it has lost all the “mountain spirit”: it’s like mountain plates in nouvelle cuisine style.

Half board: after antipasti, many options for primi piatti, many options for secondi piatti, and many for desserts - always a match.

Excellent restaurant, with the best food we have ever been offered anywhere.

If you want personal attention along with true quality in food and accommodation we would highly recommend the Marbel hotel it is 5star in everything, and the quietly of skiing wonderful.

The spa is first rate, and the restaurant is very good - so much so that having told ourselves we would eat regularly in Madonna, we spent most nights at the hotel.

Breakfast and dinner is fantastic and they accommodate to any dietary requirements.

We were there for Siberian Bear cold front, with -20C at night, so the car parked underground was optimal, and the room so so warm and comfy.

Great hotel, definitely the right choice for us, during almost a week in Madonna di Campiglio..the free shuttle offered continually, makes the distance from the center of town irrelevant, in fact, we liked the fact that we were away on a hilltop, with nice views, and had the option of shuttling to/from town, whenever necessary. The room was wonderful, spacious, clean, with balcony.. comfortable beds and a large, user-friendly (two side-by-side sinks!)

Most important the staff and quality of service are very, very, good - they cannot do enough to help.

The staff are world class and the whole feel of the hotel is very cozy.

If there is anything that is not just 100% perfect, it is the WiFi: in the late afternoons and evenings it tends to run out of bandwidth and connectivity (number of IP addresses?).

We booked the hotel gianna in the busy run up to Xmas , what a super hotel.

Relaxed in Wellness Center after busy days and then cooled down in lovely garden with tea and homemade cake.

I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a homey base after a full day of excellent skiing.

Stayed here for a weeks skiing, perfectly positioned in a quiet area just out of town centre (10 mins easy walk).

Every day after skiing there is a light snack buffet in the lobby area, which is nice as a calm-down after a long day in the slopes.

I have just returned from a weeks skiing whilst staying in this hotel.

Breakfast is excellent - sets you up for s day of skiing and the restaurant staff are so so friendly.

Huge choice at breakfast which takes some skiing off.

We’ve been skiing for over 30 years and this hotel stands out as one of the best.

The wellness center was a highlight with an indoor pool and cave like spa with waterfall ( which my children were allowed in) and the adults area of sauna, spa, steam room and relaxation area was heaven after a day of skiing.

We were there with two kids (8 and 11y) and it was fine for them as they were skiing with us.

The spa is awesome and a nice way to relax after a day of skiing or snowboarding.

We were a group of 5 from Gozo, Malta and stayed at Hotel Gianna in rooms 304 and 306 from 25th March ‘till 5th April for a skiing holiday.

The owners of the hotel the Armani family did the best to have wonderful skiing holiday.

After skiing we knew  the best feeling  you can get is in small spa at Hotel Gianna.

Madonna di Campiglio is a great ski resort and Hotel Gianna is a great place to unwind after your skiing.

The food was delicious, the spa had everything you could ask for, and staff was extremely accommodating.

Stayed here for almost a week, The room, the spa, the breakfast, the staff - all was really wonderful and contributed to a relaxing stay.

The outside hot tub and sauna give’s great sensation in the winter!

The spa is wonderful with a pool, hot tub, sauna and other attractions that are perfect for your body right after ski.

The spa was amazing, the food was probably some of the best we had throughout the whole trip and the whole hotel staff simply couldn’t do enough for you.

Small pool and spa was very nice, lots of fun for kids with water jets and waterfall 😄 Mostly, we were the only one in the pool.

The spa area is heavenly, and makes a perfect end to a day of hiking and climbing, as does the lounge area and afternoon snacks (assuming one isn't trying to do have the Brenta traverse in one day).

Most perfect and enjoyable for me was visiting the wellness center, with the pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi followed by lying on a sunbed listening to the most relaxing and refined selection of music - what a nice way to spend a late afternoon, after a day's hiking.

The hotel has a variety of amenities,  the Spa was amazing and the Hamam was nice.

The hotel is brilliantly run and the people (Claudia, Federico etc) at the front desk were always super helpful.

Staff was always willing to help you if needed (they are so nice and easy going).

Waiters and receptionists very polite and helpful.

Breakfast had a really good selection of quality options, really relaxing start to the day with wonderful staff.

Food was excellent with a choice for all courses and the two head waiters are so polite and friendly.The mini bus driven by Florino to and from the ski areas was brilliant as we hardly waited at any time.

Also, a special mention for the lady running the bar, who advised on and educated our grappa choices with charm and enthusiasm!

Everything exceeded our expectations 

- The location is perfect; just a few steps from the cabin lift that takes you up to the ski area in and down again in the afternoon, ski rental and ski pass shop right next door to the hotel.

The ski area is large enough for a week of skiing and the lift is within walking distance.

The hotel location is just perfect, a few steps away from the ski lift and ski buses where you can travel to different ski lifts around the Dolomiti supers ski area Folgarida Marilleva- Maddona di Coplilio – Pinzolo.

In the morning fantastic breakfast, the perfect location with an indoor garage for our car, close to the lift, the very friendly staff, the nice sauna after a day skiing, very clean large room etc etc etc  We have seen a lot of hotels

Also the location is top, especially during winter season, it is located directly next to the cable lift.

The localization is also great, right next to the lift during winter holidays and also very good in the summer to get to the great hiking destinations.

In addition it is ideally located next to the ski lift.

It is also a possibility to store rented ski equipment for free at the store(Skiart) just beside the lift.
