Despite being advised by staff on how to turn up the radiator, IT REMAINED COLD all evening!

No air con in the bedroom that i could see so they get hot in summer.

though it has a noisy fan to compensate for having no windows at all.

Only complaint was that there was no aircon in my room and could be too uncomfortable in summer.

but no air con which made it difficult to sleep.

We had dinner in the restaurant, which was rather stuffy and a bit meh.

To its credit I think that this town in general is all quite old and basic.

They do add a breakfast charge before knowing if you want it so be careful on checkout as you may end up paying for it without eating it.. it could be lovely with a bit of an overhaul..

(They charged me for just one coffee, when we had a nice room, had dinner in the restaurant and my companion took a full breakfast, the only hiccup in our stay.)

My only caveat is the additional charge of €17pp for a mediocre (and cold) breakfast buffet.

There aren't too many electric outlets to charge any devices,

We were pointed to a public computer with a painfully slow and erratic dial-up connection on a landing, for which we were charged 2 euros for 15 minutes. Horrible!

We got a double + single room and they put a cot (for what they charged us, very few hotels have charged us for the cot).

The staff had obligingly printed out a colorful card from our daughters which they presented to us when we came down.

but not fantastic & I found it terribly overpriced at 45 euros per person, especially since almost everything we ordered incurred an additional charge.

There were lots of steps and stairs in the area we were based so some with mobility issues may find that tricky.

There is no elevator in this hotel, so we had to carry our luggage up three flights of stairs.

Unfortunately there is no lift in this building and as we were on the 3rd floor there were a lot of stairs for us to climb as my husband had difficulty walking after surgery so bear this in mind when booking.

We stayed in the old part, which had one big downside: no elevator.

There is no lift in the original house so lots of steps. 3.

The only negative was that there is no elevator.

Please note that main building (Where rooms are located) has not an elevator.

The only small downside being the lack of a lift so luggage gets hauled up 2 flights of stairs,

We have stayed at the Dormy House hotel several times, and it never fails to delight us The staff are so friendly and only to pleased to make sure you have an enjoyable stay.

The hotel was located near to many restaurants, some shops and the beautiful pebbled beach and promenade.

We booked two harbour view rooms with friends, and both rooms are very spacious and comfortable.

The hotel is located in the heart of Fecamp, steps to the beach and all restaurants.

The room was lovely with all you needed, including a great harbour view.

You can stroll along the promenade to watch passers-by and boats of all sizes coming in and going out of the harbour.

It is also less than a block from the Channel beach.

Excellent location between the beach and the town.

What we did get was a very comfortable hotel 100m from the sea front, across the road from the marina and the very interesting Fisheries Museum, which has stunning rooftop views of the harbour and town.

We enjoyed an excellent night's stay in this lovely hotel overlooking the harbour at Fecamp.

Another great stay at this super hotel, rooms especially ones overlooking harbour are fabulous and the new modern touches have made them all the more special.

Having cycled 270 miles around Normandy this really was a great hotel - modern interior with air conditioning, all usual luxuries, lovely views of the harbour and a relaxing lounge/bar.

We had booked two marina view rooms and were delighted with the spacious rooms with a third floor view of the beach, marina, inner port and cliffs.

The room with the harbour view makes the stay so special and all the lovely restaurants in the area makes for another great stay.

A lot of them were closed dispise the list given by the hotel

We also found quite a few places - restaurants and businesses - closed due because we were there in Sept which is after the main tourist season is over.

Above all, the hotel staff were friendly and very helpful indeed.

We all enjoyed the room amenities and friendly staffs.

It was a lovely surprise to be greeted in such a friendly and knowledgeable way by the duty manager at the hotel, Maxime, who had bothered to find out, or been told about us.

The hotel is ideally situated very close to a well kept promenade, a selection of small shops and a number of well regarded restaurants.

This hotel ticks all the boxes (almost as it doesn’t have a restaurant) in Fécamp.

There were two great seafood restaurants within 100m and a lot of other places to eat and drink.

Moreover, around the place, we eaten in the woderful fish restaurant "Daniels".

We love the hotel - great room, nice people, secure garage and close to all the good restaurants This time we were able to visit the fisheries museum.

but many interesting  seafood restaurants toad other restaurants to suit all tastes nearby.

The proximity of so many good restaurants is an added bonus.

Le Grand Pavois is the place to be and the staff are just wonderful.

What sounds like a quirky idea has morphed into an aged, dirty and ineffective concept.

Had a lousy night's sleep, anyway (hot room, no aircon, overlooking the main drag through Etretat), had to walk miles to park the car, found the downstairs lounge full of kids' detritus, and generally hated every minute of it (the bed was basically a plank).

The one thing I would say that might keep you from renting here is that there is no air conditioning--but we are only a couple of blocks from the ocean and the night breeze cools everything down.

The owner/receptionist was extremely helpful and nice- he even carried our (very heavy) bags all the way up four flights of stairs.

The concierge (she may be the owner, not sure) insisted on carrying my suitcase up the two flights of stairs which was above and beyond.

Back to the hotel, no lift so beware if three serious flights of stairs are a problem, or ask for a room on a lower floor.

The staff and owner(s) are very welcoming and friendly.

We paid for a ‘character’ room which amounted to 3 facsimile posters on the wall, old spray painted furniture and an 80’s throw on the bed.

I have only two 'negative' things to say:
