but still relaxing the staff lovely too the location was perfect the weather was great everything perfect even Ryanair flights were good we just can’t wait to go back roll on next year

Dined in the hotel on the first evening which was amazing and breakfast buffet and selection each morning was delightful.

Breakfast stands out, as a very substantive spread is put on every morning including a very popular omelette chef.

DJ playing chilled tunes at breakfast one day was a nice touch.

Breakfast: Great selection of food and drinks, and made to order fried eggs or omelettes was a nice touch.

Breakfast was divine, so much choice even being vegan we were spoilt.

Daughter is Gluten Free and at breakfast this produce could have been more readily available.

On a positive, the selection of food at breakfast was very good and Juan, who manned the bar on the roof terrace, was very helpful and friendly.

We were half board and really couldn’t fault the offer for both breakfast and evening meal.

The choices available at breakfast and dinner were really good.

We stay half board and the return to full buffet evening meals was so good, the food was amazing.

Food:

We only booked breakfast and to be honest I am glad.

Breakfast was superb, everything you can imagine!

Clearly other guests just steal them from the breakfast room as we witnessed

but is nowhere near as bad as some guests would lead you to believe.

A few days before check out, we managed to see the room next to us as it was being prepared for new guest and this room did look more like the photos.

Appreciating mgt tread the fine line of upsetting guests who have no interest in others, this needs sorting.

My wife removed towels from 2 beds next to us unoccupied for 5 hours so an elderly couple could use them-why leave it up to your guests to police this ?

They did not have enough towels and sometimes towel card for guests for poolside.

Still, it meant we got our favourite table every night and the smaller amount of guests meant it was a very chilled environment to enjoy our meals.

I would image 90% plus of guests are on B&b and so there were only around 10 other diners when we ate.

Perhaps the hotel was more hopeful that people would be considerate of other guests

but as this didn't open until 7.30pm we tried The Pool Snack Bar which was due to close at 7pm and there were no guests there when we arrived at 6.40pm, but the staff were still prepared to cook a meal at that time and it was delicious, again nothing was a problem for them, for which we were grateful.

And I absolutely couldn't stand that the toilets in the guest rooms are literally positioned next to a wall.

but volume and type of music in keeping with the hotel and its clientele.

Needs a lot effort for the house keeping and for the guest to divide it before sleeping.

but overall I was disappointed by the service from the staff - all of whom seemed demotivated, miserable and as if guests were more of an annoyance than anything else.

Temperature checks on check in, hand gel everywhere and they are meticulous in ensuring guests wear their masks in inside areas.

A hotel where UK and US guests visit frequently needs to make sure that on those rainy evenings, if you're proving an in-room bath, there needs to be something to watch, too!

but makes sense given other guests have had similar problems to us.

I do want to raise something for the Management to consider for guests new and returning.

We paid a bit extra for an Xtra Relax Beach House Room, which was well worth it (esp as we heard a few guests complaining at reception about how small their basic rooms were).

Cons

Rooms are a little dated and could do with a  bit of an update and walls are paper thin.

Quite dark in the bathroom and the hairdryer is attached to the wall, so had to blow our hair in the bathroom.

Its in the lift walls, the flooring everywhere, the fridge cabinet.

The paint on the walls was chipped and shabby.

So when you sit down, your leg is cramped up against a wall.

but the standard rooms are quite small and you can hear everything through the walls.

The bathroom while it was surface clean needed a deep clean and the door was really dirty and I had to clean the back wall of the shower myself.

I can only describe the room as a fairly shabby family room, unclean with plaster cracking off the walls.

but the light was so harsh due to the white walls, that it was just frustrating.

The decor inside is all white with splashes of colour in it's paintings and cushions, the walls are all white and the foyer is very pretty.

but the bathroom smelt of drains, we had bulbs missing in the lights and wires hanging out of the bedroom wall which I asked to be sorted at reception for 3 days, eventually I took to social media to have this problem sorted - that worked!!!!

although the walls are very thin in the bedrooms.

If you stay here then you'll soon realise how thin the walls are between the rooms - this was the only real downside to things at this hotel.

It has a very open concept after many walls have been taken down on the ground floor allowing open spaces.

The check out experience after a night of highly disturbed sleep (loud neighbors and thin walls separating rooms and lack of real 24/7 reception to take timely care of this matter) was quite a bummer.

So our room looked onto a wall, we had no bath robes, no beach bag with flip-flops or toiletries.

The down side is that the walls are paper thin and you can hear what the neighbours, neighbour is doing!!

but the walls are very thin as you could hear everything next door were doing.

The walls were previously a bit thin and as a light sleeper I had trouble with this

In the inside dinning room there were park benches that ran the length of the wall .

Also the breakfast buffet was dissapointing and some of the food did not look fresh, so avoided.

Great hotel, friendly staff, excellent breakfast and room was keep super clean and tidy.

The breakfast buffet had a large variety of good quality goods-spoilt for choice every morning!

They were also delighted with the buffet breakfast which had a wide variety of options available and was a very effective way to get them out of their beds in the morning!

Food choice was excellent at both breakfast and dinner, and all of a good standard.

No restaurants were open apart from the buffet one which had a good selection for breakfast.

Although we didn't actually eat in the hotel we had breakfast every morning and there was anything and everything you could wish for, freshly cooked omelets, fried eggs etc.

Second visit meant we only went B&B as the buffet food in the restaurant  just could not be kept hot!

Fabulous pool area with a smaller one for kids, good buffet breakfast choices, adequate rooms with bath/shower rooms.

Even the chefs took time out to speak at dinner or breakfast.

The reception staff are approachable, knowledgeable and helpful; the catering staff in the breakfast and poolside bar/restaurant the same.

The breakfast buffet is good - never too busy, with an excellent selection of food.

The decor is beautiful, amenities very clean, staff very friendly and welcoming, and food is delicious with wide variety of choices for all meal times.

I particularly enjoyed the freshly prepared omelettes at breakfast and the range of cooked to order meats at dinner.

I have been quite picky as this is supposed to be a 5* hotel, not cheap, and so certain standards should be there,

The pool bar was more expensive than necessary imo and 2 restaurants were closed for refurbishment- we felt we should have been informed of this when booking

but not the cheapest and service level was occasionally a little bit slow but we would be nit picking here.

Fee for the Spa- i feel you pay for the use when paying the cost of a 5 star hotel.

Mini fridge drinks are expensive as is the norm.

Extremely expensive  bar and mini- bar drinks.

The only thing I wasn't pleased with wasn't pleased with was cost of dinner.

A couple of downsides, drinks at the hotel were a little overpriced and there was the usual "rush" to secure sun-beds around the pool.

For dinner is the expensive option for one person to pay 75 euros for the buffet restaurant, which I don't recommend.

Spa is a little overpriced - as usual in hotels like this.

Drinks- the drinks did seem to be a bit on the pricey side,

Drinks in the bar are very overpriced and this may be the reason the bar is empty each evening.

My overpriced lunch in the pool bar was poor also.

Fairer prices would maybe mean more sales?

Drinks are ridiculously expensive and I think over 5 days, we spent over £100 just on water!

Talking about ‘expensive’ they charge 19€ à day to use the gym.

Drinks were expensive €11 for a glass of wine, €5 50 for water and soft drinks.

Breakfast was really very good, buffet and hot selection cooked to order (pancakes were v good), plenty of choice and the staff couldn't have been more helpful, as were all of the staff across the hotel.

Breakfasts were excellent, fantastic choice from the buffet and the menu, personally we found the service good,

The breakfast had an amazing choice, even had a glass of Cava on offer, as well as gluten free options!

We were bed and breakfast - the breakfast had plenty to choose from something for everyone.

Breakfast was so enjoyable sitting on the beautiful terrace with the most amazing buffet including cava every morning and fresh fruit in abundance and a hot food menu too - coffee and fresh orange juice delivered to your table and topped up as you wished.

We didn’t use the hotel restaurants other than for breakfast which was good.

All requests were no hassle, for example wanting to take some juice away after breakfast or having a coffee to go.

Thanks also to Pablo and DSofia, who were friendly and helpful, also Josie (not sure of the spelling) who looked after us at breakfast tme.

The common areas in the hotel are clean and spacious, and the breakfast buffet is amazing.

We were on a B+B rate and the breakfasts were excellent – lots of choice and great service.

Good breakfast, excellent gym and spa, pool areas are gorgeous, it’s a slice of heaven.

Cheese heaven and the omelettes are to die for!

We enjoyed all the facilities, great breakfast and lunches, Spa treatments and all pool areas, everywhere is stunning and all the staff are so helpful and friendly.

Breakfast is fine, other meals are better outside of the hotel.

Very clean, stylish, comfortable rooms and a delicious breakfast with a lot of healthy choices.

Also as mentioned in previous comments the large hotel next door has a massive PA system that drowns out any ambiance that this hotel has along with some very poor Karaoke.

Any channels which were tuned in were of poor quality.

Breakfast poor, unable to get a warm/hot poached egg and getting coffee is traumatic.

Great SPA facilities let down by poor cleanliness (the floor was not cleaned regularly enough).

Limited staff round pool , no food at the rooftop pool which is poor , the roof pool Is NOT INFINITY!

No water left complimentary in room through day, this was just plonked down on dressing table while carrying out some poor excuse for a turn down service absolutely pointless exercise, close part of the blind, throw the cushions and bed throw to wherever it lands.

Not enough staff, service was EXTREMELY slow and poor!

however because the wifi is so poor, it is almost impossible to access them!

We stayed there 12 nights and nearly didn't because of some previous reviews about rude staff and poor service.

We had to wait 30 minutes to be served at the roof bar and it was because a friend of mine went for it, poor attention to the customers and the spa does not feel covid free.

but is let down by absent and poor management at the highest levels.

But it’s let down by poor service, dangerous repairs that are needed and simple things like there never any towels for the pool.

However it is expensive and the service was poor.

- very poor food - the kids menu offered seabass grilled with mash potatoe with Cabbage and grilled vegetables, The seabass was like a sliver of rubber, the mash potato actually had the cabbage rolled inside it !

A poor bloke was tasked with going around saying shhh to all the children in the spa during their "2 hour slot".

There is very loud music all the time most of which is poor, with the exception of a couple of Imagination tracks.

It was nothing more than a mashed avocado (no other obvious flavouring) with a few shards of a crisp made from quinoa - very poor

We ended up getting supplies at the local grocer and we weren't the only ones to feel aggreived at the high light lunch and drinks prices throughout the week.

So all in all a very expensive and disappointing stay. Sorry

In summary this hotel was over rated (not 5*) and very expensive.

but had to be asked with no one taking any initiative to push service on to the next level that was consistent with the price point.

However, I must commend the hotel manager, Sol, for taking the initiative to rectify the situation by offering a discount on the room rates.

Also, there seemed to be signs of cost cutting: the breakfast buffet was less extensive, no sweets at turndown and no fresh fruit around the pool.

A total disgrace, we were trying this hotel prior to a full weeks booking in August, chose to book direct so the property would not have to pay commission via Booking.Com and we can only say we will absolutely never ever consider going again.

So for it's star rating and how much it cost I expect more, so we won't be back to this hotel, the resort yes, as we enjoy it here.

but it’s crazy prices we were given two small cans of water each night at turndown and it turns out we were paying about €5 per can  this is not made clear

but there are much better and cheaper hotels than the Aguas de Ibiza, which we found very disappointing.

but not putting clean bed sheets on each day in a supposedly 5 start hotel is not good enough, I'm not interested in saving the planet when I want and have paid for clean bed sheets.

but for the price we paid we were expecting better.

We ate in the rooftop restaurant one night and that was awful, the menu cannot be easily read on mobile phones and €9 for bread is just taking the micky; three Michelin starred restaurants do not charge that!!!

but at the same time you are paying 5 star price for 3 star hotel.

We paid a lot of money for this hotel and the service/ experience we received was unacceptable.

however, given what we paid, we would rather have received five star service in line with their very costly room and food rates!

Overall I do not believe this hotel warrants a 5 star rating or the price we paid so would not return or recommend.

but they take your reservation and finally send you to a cheaper hotel on the other side of the island with no refund.

The breakfast was slow and uncooked eggs served to us, we waited 45 mins for some milk for coffee as there was only one choice of full fat milk on the cereal section also no white crusty bread after 9.45 am

Breakfast later on was a bit chaotic and slow (so go earlier) and unless you are ready at 10 there can be a wait to get a towel.

Breakfast was slow, bizarrely you have to order black coffee with one waiter and any other coffee with another.

The reservation process this year was a bit more complicated and slow than last year,

Any staff that are there are verrrry slow and ultimately it lacks the basics such as towels and sun loungers.

The service is extremely slow at all aspects of the hotel such as breakfast, around the pool and lunch.

Service was very slow and the cocktails weren't very nice, couldn't get a table outside for breakfast and there were never enough towels around the pool.

In particular, the wi-fi is desperately slow, the bar staff in the rooftop pool area could be more engaging with their customers and there are several loose or broken floor tiles near the main pool area that need to be repaired as soon as possible.

Food and bar service is slow, grumpy and inattentive.

but you rarely get asked for a drink round the pool and the bar staff are very slow but it wasn’t really a problem.

Bar staff across the hotel are totally incompetent, service takes forever and they are soooooo slow.

Bar staff were inconsistent and especially slow and inaccurate at weekends.

The service is very slow and incompetent, the food was below average.

but service was slow and we felt like an inconvenience.

Breakfast most mornings was total chaos with most of the best food items running out and very slow to be replenished, in fact the service is just slow full stop.

If I could find fault with anything it would just be that the service at the bar is very slow and the drinks are expensive

The half board option was perfect with excellent breakfast and dinner.

The breakfast was fantastic,  with a great variety of choices too.

Food at breakfast and dinner is fabulous with plenty of choice.

Food in the hotel was all very fresh and a huge range, something for everyone including a pancake machine!

We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and the selection of food and drinks was outstanding.

The breakfast is also good, wide selection, good temperature.

but had a few days in July and chose just bed and breakfast.

The range of food is great, particularly vegetarian options which were plentiful.

Breakfast is on until 10:30 which we thought was great as there was no need to rush.

On Thursday I shouted in glee there was beans on breakfast this is how much I felt about the food.

They had amazing services such as the food buffet and the bar as well as entertainment in the daytime and the evening.

The breakfasts are very good and the staff work hard.

There was plenty food choices in the dining room for breakfast and dinner and the staff were very nice and helpful.

Food was buffet style and was average, and on a couple of occasions during the week, we were served undercooked chicken.

No junk - we ate well, some lovely healthy options, great breakfast with loads of choice.

We were all inclusive and the food was delicious and had a good variety.

The choice of food is varied and always delicious.

The food was great, especially breakfast.

but the buffet (all inclusive) had a range of options, much better food choice to the hotel in stayed in Ibiza last time.

The food and ingredient quality  is really good and varied, the all inclusive drinks are generous, the rooms are a little on the simple side

The food is plentiful and of a good quality.

but hotel is not as nice as advertised.. 

pros: great bar and entertainment staff, the acts that came in were ok.. queen and Motown acts were most entertaining, bar staff very attentive, food good and varied (although most breakfast and lunches were the same), beautiful location and views.

but no good if you fancy a change from main buffet restaurant
