Many breakfast items missing or out even when they know hotel is near capacity.

Super clean, friendly staff, and the best part was being greeted by Annette in the breakfast area!!

All the staff was so friendly and kind, especially when my son fell down in the parking lot and the lady working the breakfast area came running out to check on him and gave us some bandaids.

She made sure everyone was taken care of, breakfast items were filled and the area was clean.

The breakfast has a good spread and the breakfast room has an inviting ambiance.

We travel a lot and if every hotel could have staff, cleanliness, comfortable rooms, beds, a good breakfast like this place travel would be so much more enjoyable.

but the grace and friendliness of the front desk, both check-in and check-out and Ms. Annette who manages the breakfast buffet was a surprise and super professional.

The breakfast was fine, similar to other inns’ offerings, and the the room was commodious and clean.

Annette went the extra mile getting the breakfast area ready for us early travelers.

The woman who cared for breakfast bar was friendly & keeps it up nicely which is esp appreciated with all the flus & viruses out there.

The accommodations and breakfast were excellent and our family discussed that we would like to stay at this hotel anytime we return to Emporia in the future (we have also stayed a two other options in the past).

Breakfast was standard for a Hampton Inn: yogurt, egg omelet, sausage patty, breakfast potatoes, cold cereal.

I've stayed at a lot of Hampton Inns and this one was by far the cleanest, in the best condition, and with the friendliest staff, I've ever experienced.

As expected, our room was nice and clean.

but the egg omelettes were cold (as in refrigerated temperature) even though they were in a chaffing dish and I can't eat cold eggs.

The pool was cold, the price we were given on booking.com was NOT honored.

It blew very cold air when it first turned on.

It was a cold night and the wall heater worked hard to keep up with heat loss through the big window.

I highly recommend staying at Hampton Inn, as the Kansas locations smell fresh, rooms pass the blue light test, and the hot/cold breakfast provides hearty breakfast choices.

After contacting the manager, I was made aware they were "battling fleas".

Michala  at the front desk and Annette who works in the breakfast area should be the examples for any hotel manager or owner.

When my other sister told the manager she said oooooh sorry.

When I told the manager at check out about the tub, she said ooooo, sorry.

After talking with the manager she said she was authorized to pay for one night and that was it.

The manager of the property was supposed to call me Wednesday 11/22, then Friday 11/24, then Sunday 11/26 - and I have yet to hear from her.

Convenient, just off the interstate & very nice room.

We were checking online for the hotels in this area and many said this hotel was very clean and comfortable and reasonably priced.

Great place clean comfortable, only draw back charge for pets.

While the room is very comfortable and clean, it is most welcoming to receive a phone call a few moments after getting to the room, to see if everything is ok and if I need anything.

Both times we found it very clean and comfortable.

The hotel did not make me feel safe, it had a very bad smell In the room all day and night.

Sleep here if you are okay with your room smelling like urine and having stale cereal and milk for breakfast.

In the morning, awoke to raw sewage and shower water backing up in the sink, from the room above.

the place was not to bad I check out some other hotels first and they were bad and the smell of curry was real bad will not stay in a place the smells

Although the motel was smoke free, There  was a foul stale odor throughout the hotel, almost like stale smoke or dirty carpeting.

They had used some sort of air freshener that set my allergies off making my nose and throat burn

The hotel smelled musty, there was a large patch of mold on the bathroom ceiling, the breakfast was meager, and the facilities were a bit run down.

Hotel room was sooo small and smelled very musty moldy.

Sheets thin, cheap toilet paper and shampoo smelled like castile soap.

Room was musty and bothered our allergies overnight and the next day.

Our problem occurred when we were told there would be a $100 cash deposit since my husband is a smoker and we were paying with cash.

room smelt very strongly like men's cologne.

The smell of the cleaning agent that was used was  overpowing.

All of us checking in required assistance from staff to get this done as there were no instructions on how to use this unique technology.

Leticia, the front desk clerk, was beyond accommodating!

Although the furnishings were not that modern, you can tell this hotel prides themselves on cleanliness and ensuring that everything was in good repair.

The host family running that hotel where courteous and efficient and thoughtful.

great front desk assistance for checking in & out along with answering any question we had.

I have never had an issue with appearance and the folks who run it never fail to be polite.

but it was very unprofessional for a Super 8.

The room that I stayed in was clean and the shower worked very well as the hot water quickly came when turned on.

The handicap bar in the shower was rusted and the caps covering the screws were coming off.

Bathroom was spotless, even the tub and caulk were pristine which tells you a lot.

The decor was nice, tv size was bigger than most, and the room and bathroom were spotless!

The provided breakfast was actually much better than I thought it would be.

Liked that pillowcase embroidered by identifying soft or firm.More importantly, I need to recognize Cecilia from the breakfast area.

Breakfast was great and overall the cleanliness of our room was good.

Breakfast was the usual fare--hot eggs, biscuits and gravy, various cereals, fruits, etc.

Simple breakfast- you can heat up a breakfast sandwich or have oatmeal, cereal, yogart, coffee.

The check in was about the only positive thing about this stay.
