Clean comfortable and affordable, decor a little dated

We were checking online for the hotels in this area and many said this hotel was very clean and comfortable and reasonably priced.

Great place clean comfortable, only draw back charge for pets.

While the room is very comfortable and clean, it is most welcoming to receive a phone call a few moments after getting to the room, to see if everything is ok and if I need anything.

Both times we found it very clean and comfortable.

Convenient and quiet location, friendly staff, clean comfortable room.

This hotel is very clean and convenient to the interstate highway.

The hotel is located on the highway going through town,

The in-room amenities are great, including a strong hot shower, microwave and mini fridge, the bed and pillows are superb, excellent cable TV and wifi, always clean, quiet, and friendly, and a great value.

The bathroom was clean, the shower was hot, and water pressure was good.

It is clean and quiet; amenities include a comfortable arm chair as well as a desk and adjustable desk chair, a strong and endlessly hot shower, soft

All we were looking for was a hot shower and a place to rest out heads after riding the bike trails in the area.

Room was very clean, comfortable with a comfy bed as well.

Our room was clean and comfortable and had a relaxation chair in our room which was great after a long drive, Breakfast had a lot of choices.

Everything smelled fresh and the A/C was blasting cold air all night.

In the morning, awoke to raw sewage and shower water backing up in the sink, from the room above.

the place was not to bad I check out some other hotels first and they were bad and the smell of curry was real bad will not stay in a place the smells

Although the motel was smoke free, There  was a foul stale odor throughout the hotel, almost like stale smoke or dirty carpeting.

They had used some sort of air freshener that set my allergies off making my nose and throat burn

The hotel smelled musty, there was a large patch of mold on the bathroom ceiling, the breakfast was meager, and the facilities were a bit run down.

Hotel room was sooo small and smelled very musty moldy.

Sheets thin, cheap toilet paper and shampoo smelled like castile soap.

Room was musty and bothered our allergies overnight and the next day.

Our problem occurred when we were told there would be a $100 cash deposit since my husband is a smoker and we were paying with cash.

Hair was on the toilet and fingernail clippings on the ground in the restroom.

Only thing I did not like was the water pressure in the shower…..it could have used more.

The bed was comfortable.The towel hook on the back of the bathroom door fell off during the night.

but could use a little more attention, as there was still dried caulk smears on the tile in the bathroom.

but no step up/over and the shower head was tall enough for anyone 6’4” to use without bending over.

Only problem we had was that the toilet handle broke.

Room and washroom were in need of maintenance.

Lots of noise, pool had a film on top, poor water pressure, discount for college tour not given or not properly provided even after specifically asking attendant.

If the hotel is specially cleaning, I don’t know why there was an inch of dirt on the bathroom vanity.

There was a floor board pulled up in the bathroom, so maybe there had been a previous leakage that wasn't repaired.

Paid $200 for a room with a bathroom with mold, crumbling sheetrock, stained bathtub, worn out sink front, and discolored grout around the toilet.

The bathrobe fob on the bathroom door fell off upon touching it.

The bathroom floor was not washed and lots of grout missing.

Oder in the bathroom, paint coming off the walls, and the carpet was wet to the touch.

The bed was so hard, I would wake up and find a part of my body completely numb and tingly from the pressure points.

I cannot speak to the amenities a I did not use them besides a bowl of cereal for breakfast.

Tiles falling off in room and ceiling falling down in bathroom.

We had a single queen bed which was comfortable.

Nice clean comfortable hotel , comfortable bed and pillows , doesnt stink .

The room was very clean with a very comfortable bed, and it was surprisingly quiet.

Con: They gave us a room that should never, ever have been cleared for use.

Bed was very comfortable and the television worked fine.

From the friendly, efficient, helpful Gals at the front desk to the comfort of the beds and the room furnishings to the cleanliness of our room to the excellent breakfast,  this Motel is one of the best we have stayed in for a long time, The Wyndham chain should be very proud of this location.

We had a nice room, comfortable beds and plenty of room to move around.

The room was clean, the bed very comfortable and the breakfast had most of what one would need to start the day.

but it was clean, the bed was very comfortable, the breakfast service was plentiful and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming.

In the south person double charged our room.

but this particular one charges $20 a pet.

They charged me a $20 fee per dog and I get the awful smelly, dirty feeling room.

This hotel charged us a $250 smoking charge for their room and we DO NOT smoke.

Warning to pet owners: this La Quinta will charge you $20 per night, per pet.

I'm very upset to hear that La Quinta is going to start charging pet fees.

Staff attitudes were poor along with lack of knowledge of holding rooms, billing, and ability to use points.

Floor had 3 inch slope that was unexpected and threw us off balance.

Picked the LaQuinta Inn because they are pet friendly at no extra charge.

In addition, the manager's business card was in the room with his personal phone number on it to use in case of questions or concerns.

I was quoted a $78.00 room rate on the phone when I reserved our room and was charged  $80+ at checkout.

The side door cannot be accessed with the room key card to be opened.

a possible charge on my card, my voucher to the property and wasting 1 hour of my time, because of this.

I tried to check in (with my eight year old child in my presence) after 11 hours on the road and upon request, I handed the front desk employee my license and credit card at check-in.

but Emporia Fitness Center is a mile away and they only charge $5.50 for a day pass.

When I received my credit card statement, I discovered the front desk clerk had scanned my prepaid card wrong and instead of crediting $50 towards my balance due for the stay, I was charged.

but clean and the staff was efficient but not friendly.

The check in gal was friendly, efficient, & very helpful.

He said the rooms were clean, he felt safe and the staff was helpful and friendly.

Rooms are clean, friendly staff and ample parking.

Most of the staff were friendly and welcoming.

Friendly staff, nice stay on way to family gathering out-of-town.

Any of the staff that we came across, front desk or house keeping were friendly and helpful.

So we used a nice shower with hot water and the room was clean and quite.

but check in / check out was a breeze, breakfast was hot and plentiful with options, The staff was competent, room was clean, everything worked.

Our room was clean and comfortable for 1 night.

They where super helpful and the rooms where clean and comfortable.

Our room was clean, quiet, and close to an exit so that we could walk our dogs.

Room was clean just smelled like dogs were previously in the room.

My husband & I were very impressed with the hotel, clean room & the breakfast was wonderful.

Who doesn’t know about spray cleaner with bleach these days?

The first room we were given smelled like sewage.

The door handles to the room and inside were filthy with finger prints.

Our room had an extremely strong air freshener smell.

Smelled really bad and no apologies from staff when I complained.

All they did was try to spray air freshener over the top of dog smell.

this hotel is old and run down the carpets are filthy.

Anyway in the morning the dog showed up for breakfast ate off breakfast bar. Gross.

there was a definite mildew smell in the hallways.

I would suggest that they find a way to eliminate the odor without such a sweet perfume smelling  deodorizer.

but the public areas had a horrible odor.

I was sad to see all the frozen dog poop all over the grassy areas adjoining all the nearby hotels.

The current construction made things a bit harder to navigate and the foul smell from the rooms they were working on did fill the hallway.

The Front desk girl was rude, odor in the hall and you could not enter through the front due to construction.

We loved a lady that was in helping in the breakfast area, she was older in age; she was very friendly and even helped us how to use the waffle machine.

Will definitely stay again if in the area.

When I checked all of the hotels in the area,  Comfort Inn had the highest rate.

The pool area was perfect for our littles to play and breakfast the next morning was perfect.

The buffet area was kept clean and well stocked.

There are plenty of restaurants in the area,

I would definitely stay here again when I am in the area.

Everything was good except the breakfast service in the morning no food and rude staff that was taking care of that area.

It is also very close to several restaurants and shopping areas.

This is very contrary to most hotels I have stayed at--where there is one person who stays close and keeps the breakfast area stocked and clean.

but we will stay there again the next time we are in that area.

Somewhat over priced for the area and compared to the rest of the Comfort Inn's we've stayed in

Great location next to a Wal Mart and plenty of food areas and some stores for shopping.

Easy in and out axcess from highway with many restaurants in the nearby area.

We came upon this motel because we found a coupon in a Roomsaver book from truck stops and rest areas (FYI, you can stay for about $70).

Very happy with the pet friendliest of this hotel and would stay again if in the area.

The breakfast area was clean and foods offeered were good as well.

When we got to our room the Jacuzzi was not working, the floor surrounding the tub was VERY soft, and the room was very humid.

There was trim and some random mirror or construction part left is our room.

There was two dirty wash clothes hanging on the shower door, and the shower was not very clean.

She made a long day of winter travel seem much less draining!

but the toilet did not and the carpeting in the room is old, stained and moldy.

The water in the shower takes forever in the morning.

Next, the sink drain would not work and the sink would not drain.

They provided extra towels, soap  and trash bags for our rooms- the pile of presents we unwrapped was crazy.

We started in room 103 I told them my fish tank moves more water then the tub the maintenance guy agreed and said that by no means it’s what a hot tub should be expecially for the price we paid so they moved us to room 101 and it isn’t any better at all.

I went into the bathroom and saw a dead roach, no big deal, it happens.

but we did notice that the metal window sills in the pool area were very rusty.

The bathroom sink has at least an inch of caulk behind it because it's not hung right, the paint is a mess etc.

Also toilet bowl ran all night and door stuck so bad I was nervous if there was a fire.

.in the shower before any of us took a shower.

Long wait to get hot water, sink and shower.

The toilet was leaking and so it ran every few minutes.

She went above and beyond to make sure everyone was taken care of.

We let the staff know a month in advance what we needed and they made sure we were taken care of.

The staff always takes care of whatever I need.

The entire staff is very helpful in taking care of anything I need.

but the important things are taken care of - cleanliness and a comfortable bed.

Coffee pot ,iron and ironing board in room.

We enjoyed scramble eggs, sausage patties, toast, milk and juice.

I like that the in room coffee is Wolfgang Puck .

Caring, competent, effective, courteous help with advance reservation, maneuvering complicated points system, checkin, and I absolutely love the fresh, cold tea always available!

The coffee is great, and the whole breakfast experience is fantastic.

They had bacon, eggs and biscuits plus assorted rolls, fruit, coffee and juice.

Brew and Jocelyn at the front desk are very friendly and mad me fell welcomed when I walked in.

The in room coffee was Wolf Gang Puck's and it was very tasty and a nice touch.

The in room coffee was Wolf Gang Puck's and the coffee pods made for a tasty morning coffee, not something you can usually say about motel room coffee.

There was also a coffee bar and lemon infused water right when you walked in, which I appreciated.

Water, coffee, and tea were available in the front lobby, that was a nice touch to get a cold drink after arriving from a long road trip.

It was nice to have a starbucks coffee right across from them.

She even held his lease while I went in to get coffee.

but it didn’t appear to be in our charges.

Poor security, outside door did not require card to enter. Disappointed.

I have not checked my credit card yet to see if it was done or not.
