It offers a relaxing spa, excellent food - especially the evening's 5 course meal was a delight - and Family Lingg takes care that you make the most out of your stay - outdoor activities as well as a local village tour or concert evenings as well as just reading a book in the communal area, all good as long as you feel good.

The pool was a good size and cool enough to be refreshing, followed by a visit to the Sky Spa, which is well thought out and equipped, with beautiful views - a great area to relax and recover from the day's activities before dinner.

Lingg offered every day several special activities.

All you need is there for everyone : wellness, swimming -pool , music 
( once  every week students of the music - high school  are playing  a concert ) ; the rooms are very clean ; the food is perfect ; the reception and the restaurant team is very friendly .

Great salad bar (I appreciated it very much as I like to eat smtg else than only meat and cheese when I am on my skiing vacation).

On tHe New Year’s Eve we had a luxury dinner with traditional musique and an huge firework at midnight.

The breakfast was typical German breakfast with plenty of choice with a mix of hot and cold food available.

Rooms nice, clean, beds nicely done, breakfast with a lot of choice and dinner at the hotel great and even catered for our gluten free, dairy free kids without any issue!

Service wonderful, food fresh and always  top quality, the breakfast dinner formula is terrific.

Breakfast in the morning is very good, with a variety of different foods.

The food in the restaurant is as good as I have eaten in any 5 star hotel.

There is something for everyone and they are really good about food allergies.

We choose the package with diner included, whicih was every day a surprise for our taste, chief there is young, and very promising, quite dedicated to make his guest discover plenty of new taste, food was really excellent, plates always dressed like piece of arts, a real pleasure as for the eyes and the mouth.

The owner Mr. Lingg was very pleasant and seems to have a real affinity for France (speaks the language well), which manifests itself especially in the food presentation.

The owner of the Hotel Mr. Lingg was reachable personally almost on all the days.

Let me start with the room - we booked a premium room and while we got a large room, it neither had a view, nor was it modern (there was carpet in the room) and the bathroom was extremely outdated.

With a mixed holiday programme of mountain trekking, swimming, cycling, spa and recovery, we find the hotel ticks all the boxes.

Coupled with one of the best hotel spas we have experienced, luxuriate in the sky spa with top floor views across the valley to the Vorarlberg mountains from the three superb saunas and vaporiums.

The saunas, with their views out over the local farms, and the lovely breakfasts are especially noteworthy.

Absolutely cannot recommend a place that takes such an antagonistic attitude to a customer raising an issue.

However, if a hotel takes money off customers, it should treat all customers the same and not give preference to one nationality over another.

I do feel that if hotels are going to open their doors to multi national groups they should try and cater for them especially over the festive period.

My only critical comment is the shutting of the bedroom doors.

two fire alarms during three nights stay due to taking a rather quick shower, resulting in having to open the door only wearing a towel as staff wants to inspect, as they should of course whenever there is a fire alarm!).

Although the room service girls did a great job cleaning the rooms, they didn't appreciate the " Don't disturb" sign hanged outside the door and they entered the room while this sign is hanged !!

The location is very good, many stores nearby and in walking distance, the same as other places of interest, including Dornbirn's oldest Red House (Rotes Haus), a nowadays good level restaurant.

Lots of choice to choose from the restaurant and when it’s not on the buffet, you can also order.

Our knowledgeable clerk also recommended us to the Rotes Haus for dinner which was one of the finest meals I have ever had.

The small "walk in closet" is very helpful to organize your belongings, particularly if you are in for a long stay.

No room slippers, no additional towels given on request- specifically one hand towel and one big towel every single day.

Anything extra (ie extra towel) costs money though.

and niggardly details, such as double rooms sold as singles with one small blanket, one towel, one small pillow and not enough toilet paper.

I personally prefer the simple and more business like style of the rooms where I have the choice of add-on's, just as long as you are aware of the fact that all they supply is soap in a dispenser and towels.

The market place of Dornbirn is also very close (5 min walk).

Otherwise, you can find at 5 minutes walking a lot of restaurants, in the center of Dornbirn.

Location is excellent, just a five-minute walk around the corner from the train station and a couple of stops on from Bregenz.

Good four night stay at this hotel with a well appointed room and lots of added extras.

We had 3 rooms and all of them were beautifully appointed and very comfortable.

but very comfortable and well appointed, and was more than I could have hoped for.

The breakfast was probably one of the best we ever had, almost everything you could imagine was there.

This place is just wonderful, elegant, fantastic food, they have the best breakfast and brunch that you could ever imagine.

The breakfast is like nothing you have seen before in your life!

The breakfast buffet was like no other we have experienced anywhere.

What a nice stay with typical - for Austria - high service levels and an unbelievable breakfast buffet.

You can get a very good breakfast for only 17€ in the buffet hall and have the best selection available in Austria.
