Absolutely cannot recommend a place that takes such an antagonistic attitude to a customer raising an issue.

However, if a hotel takes money off customers, it should treat all customers the same and not give preference to one nationality over another.

I do feel that if hotels are going to open their doors to multi national groups they should try and cater for them especially over the festive period.

My only critical comment is the shutting of the bedroom doors.

two fire alarms during three nights stay due to taking a rather quick shower, resulting in having to open the door only wearing a towel as staff wants to inspect, as they should of course whenever there is a fire alarm!).

Although the room service girls did a great job cleaning the rooms, they didn't appreciate the " Don't disturb" sign hanged outside the door and they entered the room while this sign is hanged !!

The location is perfect, free parking in their garage with elevator access, buffet breakfast is outstanding, rooms are large, quiet and very bright.

The location is very good, many stores nearby and in walking distance, the same as other places of interest, including Dornbirn's oldest Red House (Rotes Haus), a nowadays good level restaurant.

Lots of choice to choose from the restaurant and when it’s not on the buffet, you can also order.

Our knowledgeable clerk also recommended us to the Rotes Haus for dinner which was one of the finest meals I have ever had.

The location of the hotel is great, you can go basically anywhere by foot, and the parking garage is secure and has plenty of space.

Location is good, short distance to train station and around the corner from the city center.

I personally prefer the simple and more business like style of the rooms where I have the choice of add-on's, just as long as you are aware of the fact that all they supply is soap in a dispenser and towels.

The market place of Dornbirn is also very close (5 min walk).

Otherwise, you can find at 5 minutes walking a lot of restaurants, in the center of Dornbirn.

The small "walk in closet" is very helpful to organize your belongings, particularly if you are in for a long stay.

Location is excellent, just a five-minute walk around the corner from the train station and a couple of stops on from Bregenz.

The furniture in the lobby is mismatched and there is clearly little effort that went into creating any semblance of theme in the bar, restaurant and hotel walkway.

In room was cold, heating was off, window is not sealed well, I feld wind during cold night.

The hotel is smart enough - perhaps a little dated - with large, pleasant rooms including seating area and large LCD TV .

but closing the window helped, but then the room became too warm, with no air-con.

but it seems like there are not really many places to eat in walking distance (we did like San Remo down the street), and 2) the hotel was having some construction done so our windows were covered with opaque plastic and there were workers all around and yet no one offered a price deduction on our room.

There is no climate control in the room and when it is warm during summer one would have to open the window to let in some fresh air - problem is the hotel is situated at an intersection so there is no way to have a good night's sleep.

This was a very comfortable, clean room with two balconies; one opened to a crystal clear stream of glacial meltwater, and one opened to the view of a church and large mountain.

Extensive network of well signposted hiking trails, mountain biking and for winter sports the extensive ski areas of Damules/Mellau , Lech/Warth/HochTannenberg, Diedenskopf are easily accessible plus the extensive cross country skiing of Schoppernau/Au

From the hotel you can walk on the well prepared winter walking trails or you can reach the extensive network of cross country skiing trails (langlauf loipes).

Quite happily go back to the area (access to huge skiing area within 20 minute drive) and hotel, given quality.

Great skiing, empty slopes, good range of piste to choose from, no queuing, no fuss.

I kind of expected some tolerance or flexibility on the bill, maybe even a voucher for a future stay.

Very hospitable and helpful personnel on reception and in restaurant.Everybody speaks English,which is a big advantage and quite unusual for my beloved Austria:)

The hotel is family run;  we were greeted by the owner, who came out in the rain to get our luggage.

It is everything you would imagine a traditional gorgeous, Austrian Hotel/Inn to be. The owners were so kind & helpful and spoke excellent English!)
