Proprietors were really friendly and service was great.

From the warm and efficient welcome by Virginia to the breakfast served with enthusiasm and aplomb by Steve everything was perfect.

Breakfast was delicious, our hosts were very gracious, and the beds were some of the firmest we've ever slept in.

Nothing was too much trouble, Stephen was a fantastic host, very knowledgeable of the area, pleasant, chatty, very down to earth.

Very friendly owners who were only too happy to help with suggestions of what to do and where to go.

What makes it great is the limited number of guests as she only uses 2 of the 3 available rooms at a time making for a personalized stay.

She's a lovely lady and like her husband Alick, goes out of her way to make your stay all you want it to be.

Very knowledgeable about the local and wider area.

The owner, Karen, was extremely helpful and had extensive knowledge of the area to make our stay as pleasurable as possible.

The host, Ian, was friendly and polite. Our room was large and had a large jacuzzi bath (that fits two!)

Iain is very welcoming and friendly, full of tips and advice on where to go in the local area.

So welcoming and friendly and the breakfasts are great - freshly cooked to order from a great choice.

Nothing was too much trouble for the host which makes this a great place to stay!

Yes, it was cold.

Very friendly staff on reception and at resturant.

Extremely welcoming reception staff, efficient friendly and courteous waiting staff overseen by a very cheery head waitress for whom nothing was too much trouble.

Extremely Friendly helpful staff, comfortable rooms.

Not interested in non residents   Rushed through to restaurant as it closes 8pm.

They were sent back and eventually we did get a steak which was nearer to "Rare" rather than "Blue".

Our only criticism was that the dining arrangements for dinner put all the diners together in one part of the dining room whereas there was ample space to spread diners around rather than crowding them.

Book early, limited spaces are filled quickly.

Marion Muller, reservations manager, and her exceptional front desk staff (Morag, Jessica and Alice) continue as well.

Back to the bar for pre dinner drinks, the restaurant with lovely food more helpful staff, the whole experience truly  wonderful.

My steak was exceedingly fatty and very tough.

Comfortable room, cheerful and helpful staff, tons and tons of information about the local wildlife, very good food.

The facilities for wildlife watchers remain excellent with very helpful input from a visiting guide every morning.

The staff were very friendly , the food great value and the were very accommodating to my small pet dog .

The hotel staff are all very friendly and the hotel is centrally located.

Well run hotel staff friendly and attentive.

The hotel has a comforting charm to it with some very friendly regulars who are available for advice on the best places to visit.

but more so only if they have ground floor rooms as well as marked bays for blue badge holders.

Can’t praise the staff at this hotel enough.

Gary from the Ben Mhor was super helpful and helped to sort it out.

The guy behind reception and bar did not seem very cheerful considering there were many of us in the bar those night and maybe only a few locals which meant he would have had good takings over the full weekend.

What can u say the staff are exceptional well presented and curious the room we were given was room 2 looks right on to the front of the building 
Parking is not a problem which is a big bonus

Surrounded by miles & miles of beauty in a lovely town The Ben Mhor is run by 2 very hardworking ladies, Ann & Sandy.

Delicious and generous breakfast, the lovely hosts very kindly accommodating my request to have it early.

The guesthouse is 5 mins by car from Grantown on Spey,that has a variety of good eateries and shops,and about 10-15 mins by car to Aviemore which also has a variety of bars/resteraunts and shops,you can also access the cairngorm mountain/Rothiemurchus from here,where there are a variety of both winter and summer sports/watersports available.

The owners were very welcoming and friendly, and the apartment was beautifully decorated, spacious and clean.

The host is very friendly and warm as well.

Always lovely to have a friendly dog to greet us (Jack) and our daughter loved watching the birds and bunnies in the garden and views out to the hills..

The owners are super friendly,and happy to help with advising of good places to visit locally,nothing is too much trouble for them.

The kitchen has everything you need to cook a family meal.

From the moment we arrived we felt looked after and cared for by Nadia at Rosegrove. All the food supplied to us was incredible (including particularly delicious eggs from their own chickens!)

We had takeaway from the owner recommended Grantown Diner both nights - was great!

The personal touches and the gorgeous food were just brilliant.

Staff very attentive nothing was too much trouble and made to feel very welcome.

Nadia is welcoming and nothing is a bother.

It was a wonderful stay with a warm and helpful host family!

The sliding bathroom door only slid half way, the bed seemed small, very dark, drab and dated, shower had very little power and if the cleanliness of the room is anything to go by there’s no way I would eat here (picture attached is of the window in the room).

button for the electric shower was missing the rubber cover so we had to push our finger right into the small cavity in order to switch the shower on.

This is a good hotel.the staff are friendly .the food is great and the ambience is excellent .we loved the sitting area and the bars very convivial.it was an excellent overall experience.it is not or pretends to be,a five star hotel .it has issues as you have seen from other guests

I never got to sample the food as I had arranged to have dinner with friends who had booked something else up the town.

but it is great value for money and is in a wonderful part of the cairngorms .the town itself is a welcoming one with plenty to offer and the walks are great through out.

The reception areas of the hotel are quite nice.

The hotel staff were all very nice and the entertainment was fine, very age appropriate and suitable for the guests staying when we were there.

Cold plates, lukewarm food (even when we were there early and they were just putting the food out), no pots of yogurt on 2 out of 4 days, instead there were bowls of yogurt which were on the buffet table with no refrigeration.

All the staff we met were most helpful and very friendly.

Super friendly staff (eg they happily sent back to me a coat I had left there) -

Great wedding location, lovely meal and very accommodating team / venue supporting child friendly wedding.

We can never thank all the staff enough for making my parents special day most memorable.

Jan and Janny are very welcoming hosts and the accommodation is extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean .

The staff were very welcoming and accommodating and made us feel at home.

We picked what we wanted for breakfast from a checklist and WhatsApp it to the
 owners and we were given a timeslot.

Willowbank was very clean and the adoptive manner to meet covid requirements was well implemented and very innovative.

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst visiting a friend who lives in the town, all staff we met were professional and friendly, breakfast was absolutely delicious both mornings and they actually cook there toast properly and not just hot bread!!

Very warm welcome the staff were nice and friendly.

The team could not have been more accommodating, friendly, helpful and professional.

Good points: 
food was really good, clean room,good array of products , bath , shower gel, sleep spray, chocolates , coffee machine,some friendly, helpful staff.

In front of the hotel the outside seating area is very dirty,  over flowing ashtrays full of rain water on tables, not emptied during our stay.

On entering hotel there had been a flood ( due to heavy rain) in the front entrance ( frantic clearing up being carried out).

On our return (2 hours later) same sound heard, thumping beat.

Food was very good,  staff in dining room were excellent

Welcomed with a smile and a bit of deliberation regarding voucher etc

My Husband stated “ I’ll investigate then” 
My Husband went to the kitchen and heard loud music being played ( I have it on video) and guess what, receptionist had gone to kitchen at same time as my Husband!

We didn’t get a good sleep, heard doors banging, water , shower in next door room.
