The location of the hotel is great as it's near the centre yet in a very quiet area.

Beautiful evening walk to see Christmas decorations and important location in the Lisbon historical center.

Last night, our guide Sergio did an excellent job of guiding us through the streets to enjoy the celebration of Christmas lights in the city center.

we enjoyed this hotel which is located close to train station and city center.

He showed us around the city center and was so knowledgeable about all the sites around the city.

The hotel is centrally located near center of Lisbon.

Even parking is easy and reasonably priced, despite the fact that the hotel is in the city center.

More snacks were at the lobby and then we were given over a two hour walking tour around central Lisbon with Miguel who was incredibly informative, enthusiastic and helpful in giving us the background of the city, beginning with the history of the hotel itself and the through the city centre.

Ana, in Guest Services led us on a two hour walking tour of Lisbon City Center.

Many details make you feel pampered and at home: 20 minutes free massage, great 2 hour morning tour to the nearby city center locations led by Ana the guest services manager ( and one in the afternoon), ice cream and food at reception during  all day… and all of this for free!

It is at the center of everything and if something wasn’t a short walk away it was a very cheap and short uber/taxi.

The restaurant and food were excellent, and they even have a nice spa and fitness center, things I would expect more in a bigger chain hotel farther from the city center.

Lisbon has so many nooks and crannies to discover and the Corpo Santo sits at the center of it all.

We booked an impromptu 4 night visit to Lisbon in that bleak period in  early January, joining our son and his family who were staying for a week in a small apartment near the centre.

Great location at city center yet quiet room.

Found a sunny outside table on a bit of a square, relaxed with a lovely refreshing Portuguese gin G&T, not far from the river or too far from centre, service was excellent and would definitely recommend.

The historical walking tour with Sergio on our first day was a highlight and helped us get our bearings in the city.

I recommend a higher floor to get the best possible views of this historic, charming, and beautiful walking city!

Amazing historical items found when the hotel was built scattered throughout hotel.

I was deeply impressed by my guide Miguel, a very nice young man who introduced in details about the historical spots to us the guests, and answered us questions patiently as well .

Also stumbled upon the historical site in the basement of the hotel, it was very interesting.

The Location was perfect close to everything the historical sites, bustling nightlife on pink street ,amazing food at the Time out market and the main town square.Our room 419 was superb very spacious comfortable and modern with some lovely views of lisbon streets.The complimentary mini bar and waters everyday were a nice touch.

Form the moment you arrive at this historic gem you feel warmly and genuinely welcomed by the staff.

Excellent morning walking tour with Ana  - relaxing walk up to the castle with lots of useful background and historical information.

Sergio covered the afternoon tour showing many of the historical shops along the way, adding interesting facts and stories.

You must do the walking tour with Ana, who is so knowledgeable and gives a fantastic overview of this historic city.

It is two hours in downtown with stops at landmarks, historic shops, and a church.

We loved her commentary, which included historical information,

He led us to some historic sites around Lisbon and gave us informative facts and useful information for our trip to Lisbon.

She was able to aquire Fado tickets at a wonderful historic venue with fabulous Fado musicians… a highlight of our time in Lisbon.

We arrived very early & checked our bags while we took a nap on the comfy couches on the historical 1st floor.

I truly enjoyed my time at Corpo Santo Lisbon Historical Hotel, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a charming and historic stay in Lisbon.

We loved the historic location, and the amenities were more than we could have expected.

Who would think this is a historic hotel with “ruins” under the hotel!

Check in- smooth, easy and altho room not available - we napped in the historical lounge area in the lower level.

We explored all the historical places starting from the beach area through Cathedral, up to the top of the Castle.

Also - on top of this, basic issues like our door not locking, our shower flooding (neither of which were ever fixed) just made this a horribly disappointing stay.

Eduardo had a minor computer error fixed immediately.

A minor issue with the shower was fixed almost immediately.

but Leticia on reception was an absolute star - she answered our endless queries with patience and enthusiasm and she even ran after us out of the front door on one day to make sure her recommendation had been okay and that a minor issue in the room had been fixed.

I notified the front desk and they supposedly asked maintenance to fix our problems,

The first floor corridors continually smell of sewerage, indicating a pipework problem which they are clearly unwilling to fix.

I ask the staff three times if they could fix the issue.

buttons - there are some cool effects to enjoy - which we did have to report a couple of times before it got fixed and therefore took a couple of days to get sorted - but sorted it was and it wasn’t an urgent problem!

The hotel staff promptly gave us keys to a room just one floor up for the night so we could sleep there until the issue was fixed.

Two lights in our bedroom were not working, and I mentioned this to reception, by the time we got back to our room after a short walk, they were fixed.

but they fixed it and checked twice to see it stayed fixed. 3.

There are a few things they could do better, most of which may be easy to fix.

so then WHY didn't you fix that problem before you put another guest in that room???

They do lovely touches have an ice cream machine in reception and snacks which were welcomed after a long drive from Spain.

The lobby is always filled with snacks and an ice cream machine.

They serve all day food including snacks, ice cream, bread, desserts and so on for free.

Tour of the room with shower sound system, welcome basket with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries, 20min free massage, 24-hour snacks and ice cream in the lobby, two daily free walking tours of the city, complimentary mini bar, and even a pillow menu!

The ice cream machine serves site-made softserve that will ruin your appetite for the typical machine made versions.

The hotel has many services such as breakfast, massage, room service, free ice cream, free walking tour and more.

Touches such as complimentary snacks and candy in the lobby, a 24 hour ice cream machine, just added to the experience.

They have a snack of the day, a midnight snack, ice cream and water bottles for free  in the lobby daily.

There's even a soft serve ice cream machine!

We loved the unique amenities of the property - soft serve ice cream in the lobby, daily happy hour, walking tours, to name a few!

in the lobby, they have soft serve ice cream (they call it "emergency ice cream, and there's a room in the lower level called The Living Room - there are certified Roman ruins to explore.

There is a table in the lobby loaded with snacks and treats 24/7, coffee, water, and an “Ice Cream Emergency” bar.

The receptionist poured us some lovely ice cream from the complimentary ice cream machine(it’s there 24hours) before showing us to our room.

-let me say my motto is “eat dessert first” and the 24-hour ice cream with homemade granola & the candy / sweets table was a dream!

Staff are doing everything they can to make your stay comfortable.

She was very knowledgeable and provided lots of interesting information about the history and culture of Lisbon.

I took one of the free walk tours and Nuno was so knowledgeable, explaining so much of the history of the places we went to.

They were both awesome, knowledgeable and of course locals.

While the location itself was perfect for tourists, it really is the hotel itself and the staff that earns the top marks.

The hotel staff will do everything possible to make your stay enjoyable!

Also don’t miss the free massage provided by hotel, honestly I didn’t expect hotel therapist could be so professional —— I would say, Ms. Anabela, one the the most professional massage therapists I have ever met in my life, I even extended the massage after free time!

This hotel was one of the best I have stayed, the staff were the friendliest and professional at the same time.

Nuno, our guide, was informative, helpful, and very kind.

The hallways leading up to the room are old, tired (stains on carpet flooring), and just outdated.

however, mention a few nit-picky things for anyone who’s super discerning—there was a stain on our room carpeting that drove me a little crazy.

although I felt the hotel was well kept and I’m sure the carpets are cleaned regularly, the stains from wear and tear can be a bit off putting.

There were a couple of small stains that look like red wine in our room carpet that I mention only because it was the only thing that kept our room from being total perfection.

Only one minor quibble was stains on the carpet, which probably is difficult for any property to stay on top of,

He was passionate about his trade and didn’t just mix a drink, he created a beverage.

It can be easy to rely on the tourist trade

We had the Xmas special evening one with Nuno, a nice gentleman, it was a great experience to walk with him across the city at the end of year, seeing those locations and feel the festival atmosphere in Lisbon.

From the complimentary city walking tours to the complimentary 20 min spa massage, they go above and beyond to assure you the best possible experience.

We started at the hotel and walk through Baixa and Chiado neighborhoods.

We really enjoyed our morning walking tour with Sergio.

The hotel is in a perfect location for the local attractions and they offer a walking tour twice a day.

but the highlight was the 10:30 am walk with Miguel - he literally was a wealth of knowledge and led our group uphill to the castle of a leisurely 2 hour walk - and gave a great lunch recommendation there as well.

The employees lead complimentary walking tours.

You can join the free walking tour in the morning, in which the hotel staff as guide will tell you stories about the history of Lisbon.

The room was cleaned to perfection every day it was like walking into a new room everyday.

The breakfast was amazing, and the walking tours were fun and informative.

The hotel provide twice daily walking tours too which is a really good idea.

Do not miss the complementary walking tours offered by the same staff that checks you in.

Especially we had a great walking tour with Miguel.

I understand why it's one of the best boutique hotel in the world.

We didn’t realize what a player their Hotel, the country, and especially Lisbon, was throughout world history.

We learned a lot about the history of Lisbon and its place in world history.

I think this might be my favorite hotel in the whole world.

took us on a morning walking tour despite the tour being kinda canceled due to the pope visiting (it was world youth day and the city was heaving with kids!)

In a world which seems to be deprioritizing customer service & value, Corpo Santo reminds me that great hospitality still exists.

Let me preface this review by saying we have stayed in many excellent hotels all around the world.

The manager of the restaurant in the evening went beyond anything we’ve ever experienced anywhere in the world.

My husband and I enjoyed the complimentary happy hour most days where we met other couples from around the world.

The Sense Spa massage with Ababela and Dri was the best massage I have had ( and I have had a few over the world).

He has a deep knowledge of the history of Portugal as well as the world history, and he tells the story in a way you can’t miss it.

I’ve been lucky enough to stay in many luxury hotels throughput the world

We have never encountered a free mini bar anywhere else in the world…..great idea.

The quality of service, food, guided tours etc, etc, is out of this world.

I've stayed in many different class hotels all around the world, and Corpo Santo definitely stands out.

We have stayed at many top hotels throughout the world and the staff here met or exceeded all other hotels.

We also want to mention Annabella and her colleagues at the spa - a massage out of this world - heavenly.

From the moment you enter the lobby, it is as if the outside world vanished.

The boat service was so quick and the captains were friendly.

Great Location for all things Universal with the walk, Taxi Boat and Shuttle bus all very convenient to get you to City Walk and all the Parks.

The boat shuttles to and from the parks/ city walk to Loews Royal Pacific made everything so easy and quick.

Park boat access was very efficient and saves time.

The boat ride to the parks is so much better and shorter than parking at the parks.

In terms of transport to universal, the boat is a lovely way to travel.

The boat to City Walk is really helpful and we also enjoyed the short walk on occasion.

Locations are perfect to universal studio, we can walked or took the boat to go to universal parks, excellent services, staying at the club level very satisfied with the service!

The little boat service into Universal was excellent and fun.

There is also a boat to get to the parks or alternatively a walking route - both are quick

We enjoy the boat taxis that take to the parks and City Walk as well as taking you back to the hotel when you are done having fun.

Immaculate room, extremely friendly staff, good food, beautiful pool area, great boat ride to parks from hotel, plenty of chairs around pool area,   hotel is a GEM.

Just take a quick walk to city walk or you can take a boat or bus if there is rain.

Our fav part was the express pass perk and being able to take a boat to theme parks or city walk.

but, its an easy walk or boat ride int the park.

The resort is only a quick boat trip from the parks, you can also walk there as it's only a 5/10 min walk from the lobby to the security area which is located at the side of Magaritaville.

The boats to the park was amazing though.

The proximity to the parks is one of the things that makes this hotel so perfect, a 7 minute walk to IOA or a very nice boat ride and the advantage of going through security checks before you get on the boat, if you walk the security check is by Margaritaville.

We also made use of the fitness centre, which

They offer some shopping onsite as well as a spa, arcade and nicely appointed fitness center.

The buses drop guest at the entrance of City walk, which is about .5 miles from the center.

Great pool, Starbucks within the facility, fitness center well equipped, close to universal city walk and theme parks.

The pool area is fantastic with a nice bar, and so is the fitness center (please bring back fresh fruit and beverages which used to be there once for those who train).

The lady from the Business Centre whose name we missed was a massive help to us and we cannot thank her enough for being so kind when we had to navigate new restrictions on leaving the country, she was a big help to us getting everything printed off we needed!

Hotel, rooms, fitness center, pool area were all very clean and sanitized.

The fountain pool at the center is lovely and the Polynesian art was exquisitely done.

The rooms were nice and covert cleaned the pool and the fitness center were good This is walking distance to the universal studios so the there are many advantages of this hotel every thing is walking distance for tourist and this hotel is good for tourism

I had everything within a quick walk: conference center, multiple eating venues on site (I literally ate at them all and never disappointed), pool, and a great walk or water taxi ride to city walk, so convenient.

They laid on meals in the conference centre which is great and again nothing seems too much for the staff.

The hotel itself has a huge lobby and several restaurants, fitness centre, shops all on site.

2)  The fitness center is the place to be!!

The hotel is a big hotel with a large conference center.

The fitness center is worth a look, we had the co-ed spa tub all to ourselves.

You can walk to the security gate by Margaritaville in 6-8 minutes.-Unlimited express passes and early admission are included.-The pool and fitness center looked nice; we walked past

The conference center is large and well suited for several thousand attendees.

Easy access to Universal City Walk and the Universal parks.

It was a 7 min walk to the city walk, self parking was easy, Valet guys were helpful and friendly.

Excellent location, just a short walk from City Walk and the Parks.

If you are into walking for exercise, there is a nice walking path from the hotel to City Walk and the Parks.

This resort is amazing, close to Islands of adventure, City walk and universal studios.

It’s an easy walk to city walk and the parks and the express passes are a MUST!

We loved thecoation as it was ose in proximity to Universal theme parks and city walk.

The location of this hotel allowed the feasibility to walk to Universal Studios, Island of Adventure and City Walk.

Location ideal for easy access to City Walk and Parks.

But the City walk which is just a ride away has great options if you are not too tired.

The location was perfect, only a 7 minute walk to the theme parks and city walk.

This hotel is close to all the parks and City Walk.

The availability of the water taxi was great - we took advantage of the water taxi every day which took us from the hotel to City Walk.

The room next too us was noisy and thre their bedding and food boxes into the hall and blocking our door .. no One would come clean it up for days

Our bathroom door was broken and took an hour to ROOM SERVICE water.

A very nasty upsetting letter was placed under my door on Sunday, 8/6 stating my credit card payment had been declined.

There was essentially a hallway in the room, where a door could have been added that would have killed 80% of the corridor noise dead.

We leave our room at 0700 to get breakfast and early park access, put the make up room sign on the door and return at 1600 to find it’s not done….whilst getting changed to go out again, get a knock on door saying your my last room, if I don’t come in now it won’t be done……next day decide to have a lie in, knock on door at 0915, we ask them to come back as we are just getting ready, left at 10, put note on door to make up room….came back at 2000 hrs….not done…..only a little moan,

Our room smelled(smells stay in carpet, don't understand why they haven't put some type of laminate down) The dividing door to the bathroom was terribly off track.

but the refrigerator did not work and needed to be replaced and the hotel room door stuck pretty bad.

The people next door also said their USB ports were worn out
and not usable.

The bathroom just had a sliding door that didn't provide much privacy as you could hear everything.

There is nowhere to park a double stroller without partially blocking the door.

The layout was a bit odd as there was a lot of empty space right by the door,
