although, be aware that there is a lot of construction in the local area currently so this can be fairly loud when relaxing by the pool.

The sound of the generator of a nearby construction was annoying at night, so we asked the for a relocation to a higher floor, and staff was kind enough to accomodate our request.

Watch out, they are building a project just next to the hotel, so if you want to rest by the pool, it will be on a construction site.

Unfortunately, the view was not on no-good side (I could only see the building under construction).

but there is construction on the other building so I ask the Reception if I can change my room and they transferred me at 4th floor with Burj Khalifa view for FREE!!!

I didn't sleep well because of the construction outside.

The WiFi is fast enough to watch a movie

We got a room on the opposite side of the construction

Mind you, there was lots of construction along the way.

but blighted by construction works 24 hrs a day.

however there were many constructions around which I could easily heard at night, the staff was not as good as described in other reviews, I felt the check-in a little rushy and many details lost.

although there was near construction we couldnt here any thing from the outside

but is a bit noisy from nearby road traffic and a construction site right next door.

In walking distance of the Dubai mall had to cross a big construction site to get there, the pool view is also overlooking construction (but that is Dubai downtown).

The staff were very friendly and helpful especially Lali who was always there with his big smile and giving us suggestions on shopping, transportation, etc.

Keenan in particular was so friendly and took care of us very well.

And it was friendly staffs and room was clean and fasionable.

Staff is very friendly and seem like they enjoy their jobs, well trained and know what they are doing.

Staff were all friendly and helpful and we loved the 24hr shop and free tickets we received for the Reel Cinema in the hotel. The outside pool area is amazing and the perfect place to relax in the sun (which it gets all day!)

Rove downtown has the most strategic location with walking distance to Dubai Mall, and very close to great destinations like the city walk and Jumeirah and the Kite beach.

Most nearby attractions such as Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Miracle Gardens, Deira/Old City, Dubai Frame, Dubai Marina, and Sharjah are equidistant and easily accessed in under 20 minutes by Uber/taxi.

It was so convenient to walk to the Dubai Mall and we didnt have to use the stuttle which is provided .The Shuttle also makes stops at City Walk,La Mer beach and Madinat Jumeirah.

But they also run free shuttles on a timetable to the mall, the Dubai museum and Jumeirah beach.

We enjoyed visits to Bhurj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, Dubai Fountain, Dubai Museum, Dubai Creek, Aquaventure, Mall of the Emirates, Jumeirah Mosque, Dubai Marina, Mall of the Emirates, Le Mar Beach and Burj Al Arab.

Staff is friendly, the hotel offers pool and gym (if you are too lazy to make the 15min taxi-drive to jumeirah beach), breakfast leaves no wishes open.

The hotel is ideally located for trips to Jumeirah, Deira and the airport by taxi.

They have a very convenient shuttle that drops off several times a day at the Dubai Mall and Jumeirah Beach.

Dubai Mall is about 5/10 minute walk
Metro line is about 10 minute walk  ( you can go thougth the mall to get the metro )
There is a free shuttle bus from the hotel to the Mall, Jumeirah beach.

The person dropped us with our bags straight to our rooms.

As a couple we enjoyed the clean, fresh, uncluttered room, large shower, and all we needed for a relaxing stay - lovely linen, especially.

Our stay here was exceptional, the room had everything we needed & was in a great location to everything.

The room was very comfortable and had a great view.

Rooms arw cleaning every day and it is very nice.

We loved the relaxed cool atmosphere of the hotel.

My room was always clean thanks to Samel, he's looking after my room and he's really friendly, helpful and hospitable

The rooms are small and basic (unlike a lot of the big posh hotels)

but the room was a bit small and had a strange elevator.

Yet, rooms are small, too plain and you need to pay for everything you ask for.

but instead we stayed 3 and pushed back our flight back home 

Room is a bit small for 2 but  as we were always out it wasn’t very a problem 

Beds and pillows are comfy.

The only minuses were 1) a very small room definitely not suited for three guests (two adults and a child) with nowhere to put all our stuff, and 2) the pool would benefit from having different water depths, which would be more convenient for kids. Oh, and also 3) Construction site right between the hotel and Dubai Mall -

although the rooms small it was perfect for the 3 nights we were there.

The rooms are a bit on the small side, and could use a few items such as iron and ironing board, and other hot beverage selections (different teas and hot chocolate perhaps).

Rove has a pretty modern yet warmth design and wonderful staffs.

I would like to recommend to stay at Rove Hotel Downtown, the staff and service is brilliant.

The location was excellent as we wanted to be based near the Dubai mall (which is adjacent to the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Fountain).

We traveled from Greece for the first time to Dubai and the choice at this hotel was ideal as it provides all the amenities we need and is also very close to the Dubai mall 5 minutes walk which made our access there very easy.

Everything is new and it's a 5 min walk to the Dubai Mall which is great.

The hotel is perfectly located for exploring all of Dubai and only a short 5-10 minute walk to Dubai Mall and the Burj Khalifa Fountains.

It is also a 10min walk from the dubai mall and burj khalifa.

The location is just 5minutos to dubai mall and 12 minutes walking to metro - red station.

The housekeeping was excellent in providing us things we needed such as as  extra kettle (as we needed to keep boiling water for the baby bottles) and the manager Eliah was fantastic, he remembered our names and always made an effort to check that we were getting on ok. Taxis are always available outside the hotel and it’s only a short walk to the mall.

Rove has multiple exceedingly well located hotels throughout the city and this is outstanding proximity (walking) to both the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall.

It is superbly placed, 5 minutes walk from the Dubai mall and a 10 minute taxi journey away from La Mer beach.

The location of Rove Downtown is perfect, just 5 minutes walk from Dubai Mall, the building stylish with lots of individual touches and the staff cant do enough to welcome you and help with anything.

We chose the all inclusive option, the food was amazing, with plenty to choose from at the breakfast and dinner buffets (Horizon).

but with a little encouragement and creative flair you can manage to extend this with the drink available on the all inclusive.

We as a family of 4 went for a 10 night all inclusive holiday to Amwaj Rotana, Dubai Jumeriah Beach resort towards end of July 2022.

Good tip, go for all inclusive dine around, a better deal you will not find.

even though we  were all inclusive we could only use the main restaurant for breakfast and Dinner or the Rossa, snack bar and main restaurant for lunch.

We booked an all inclusive package not really sure whether we’d use the allowances

All inclusive was 100% worth it, branded spirits, cocktails and the wine was lovely.

The all inclusive package is well worth it, every meal we ate was of good quality and plenty of choice.

but soon as we mentioned it they offered room change and all inclusive upgrades which was great.

We chose the All Inclusive option and we are so glad we did.

Came with my partner and stayed at the hotel for 13 nights on the basic all inclusive package.

We stayed under the basic all inclusive package - the food and drinks were great considering how much we paid for 15 days.

We opted for the all inclusive which was great.

We came on the all inclusive package and would say this is a must.

but if you like alcoholic drinks it's worth paying for the all inclusive package which was branded premium drinks.

The best thing was a good location near the beach, shops, restaurants and cafes of the Walk.

The lifts used to take a while as there was only 3 in the whole hotel and they were always full.

The lifts can be a bit busy at peak times

The only downside is the lifts during peak morning time.

The other problem is the lifts, it wasn't uncommon to wait ten minutes for one and then the way they missed floors and stopped for no reason is nonsensical.

The only thing, that could be a little better, the elevators were overloaded in the morning.

but extremely busy, lifts are a nightmare at this time as there is only 3 of them, can be waiting up to half an hour before u get one to go down, and that’s not an exaggeration!

Had his colleague actually been in the elevator he would have been here now.

We were allowed to walk by the reception and take the elevator up without any problem.

The team at the first floor breakfast restaurant was very helpful , But the lifts were very slow .. the worst part about the hotel.

Lifts after wait 15-20mins for ever time and regularly braking down

Service around pool VERY SLOW one waiter for over 50 guests often waiting 40 min

Difficult to get sun loungers and pool inadequate for size of hotel 

Food cold and VERY REPETITIVE AWFUL

Very poor value for money we spent £5800 dirham 28134.00  for two people very disappointed .

Elevators, one of the three elevators was breakdown , we had to wait for more than 15 minutes , then we move using the emergency stair case from 12th floor to 1st floor carrying my child and the some personal staff

The three lifts are slow and not enough during peak times and when one fails, like it did yesterday, be ready for a long wait!

Straight away it became apparent that the lift will be causing issues as it took a while for a lift to arrive.

The negatives:  the lifts are a nightmare, waiting for an eternity for one not to pass you by

Every construction person knows that the maximum time calculation for lifts is 28 seconds not 28 minutes.

but the main issues every visitor should know are:
• bad smell of mold and humidity in the rooms (we changed 2, so it wasn’t just a problem with the first one we got)
• 3 extra small lift with the capacity of max 13 persons for 25 floors 
• 80% guests that are not wearing masks and anyone warns them 
• average food

It is set just at Jumeirah Beach, adjacent to the Blue Waters.

It was our 2nd time staying at Amwaj Rotana JBR and we returned not only for the hotel’s prime location on Jumeirah Beach

A great stay at the Amwaj Rotana at Jumeirah Beach for our first visit to Dubai.

The hotel is set in a perfect position with a huge pool overlooking the Jumeirah Beach, and the Ain Dubai Ferris Wheel on Bluewater Island.

You will not be disappointed if you love a centrally based hotel, near the beach, shops, marina, Ain Dubai and the Jumeirah Palm, it's perfect for all those things.

We booked the Amwaj Rotana as it was in the location we wanted to be in (close of Jumeirah Beach) , had sea views from all the rooms, had previously received good Trip Advisor Reviews and offered an All Inclusive Option.

The hotel’s USP is primarily its location and with direct access to the white and Sandy Jumeirah beach.
