We are thankful Ms Nelia and Mr. Akbar of Ramada Downtown, Dubai for the hospitality and upgrading our room to Burj Khalifa view as we checked in on my wife birthday for celebration.

Stayed in the Ramada hotel - room was a great size and had a fantastic view of the Dubai fountains and burj Khalifa.

Our room was upgraded to one with a view of the Burj Khalifa fountain View which was great.

This hotel room provides the most amazing and panoramic view to the fountain and burj khalifa area.

Really nice Suites, had a room with the view of the Burj Khalifa, so we could see the fountain-show straight from the room.

We were assigned the best room of the hotel thanks to his generosity, a beautiful view on the burj khalifa, mall and fountain with a very spacious room.

but as Raza saw that the children and I immediately offered us to move to a more comfortable double room with a view of Burj Khalifa, for which many thanks to him, the children are delighted!

If your looking to stay here this weekend/week ahead I wouldn't bother, find somewhere else and check first about construction work and hotel repairs first or you'll be wasting your time and money.

There was construction as soon as i opened the window and the room was so dark and gloomy no matter how much i opened the curtains !

but there are also few corners where no construction is possible here.

Although everything is under construction around, we couldn't hear anything during day and nights.

You can hardly hear the construction site nearby!

If you aren’t super sensitive to noises like I am (mostly beeping from construction vehicles) you will barely notice it.

Problem at the moment the construction side next to our room 2906.

Horrendous thing are the constructions which are going around the building which many a times goes on the entire night and also on Friday(weekend) morning .

The reason why I deduct some points is the construction site next to the hotel.

The one bedroom apartment is spacious, with a big living room and open kitchen, big bathroom with both shower and bathtub, a bedroom with a spacious wardrobe (which was important for all my clothes), and a balcony overlooking the boulevard partially - on my side there was a construction site as well (a bit annoying so get the one with a better view).

Unfortunately it’s overpriced for the conditions you’re given and the noise of constructions are driving me insane.

The pool is mostly in the shade in the afternoon and is currently surrounded by construction, so not too pleasant.

the morning of day 2 (Saturday) I was woke up at 7am in the morning by the sound of construction work in the building opposite, I dont recall seeing any information about construction work on surrounding buildings, the work is literally outside of my 7 floor balcony and has been going on all day.

In addition to the delicious foods and beautiful decoration, the viewdeck overlooking Burj Khalifa, Dubai Fountain and Dubai Opera was an entertainment for the guests which they all loved.

I recommend Ramada Downtown Dubai to those who wish to have a feeling of home away from home; those who appreciate flexibility and good understanding of guests’ needs; those who like tasty and healthy food; those who want to escape from the noise and hustle of Shaikh Zayed street and enjoy quiet walks in the prime residential area of Dubai; those who wish to stay overnight after a visit to Dubai Opera; those whi have special occasions to celebrate and those who love Dubai’s iconic skyline.

The breakfast was always different and of a high quality (the cheese fatayer are exceptionally tasty).

We get to see the fountain show every day from the comfort of our balcony and has been the highlight of this trip.

Fountain view and water dance view were exciting.

Had a brilliant view of the burj khalifa and of the fountain show.

Right next to the Opera, it’s a walking distance to Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall (-15 mins) , the fountains and quite a few restaurants as well.

My whole family had a wonderful stay at ramada, Mr Raza even went above and beyond to make sure every minute at the hotel was pleasantly memorable and even on request upgraded our room to the magnificant Fountain view of the iconic bhuj kahilfa.

Cons : Wifi was weak, Room amenities were not stacked in room upon arrival.

Our firs day cab journey couldn't be completed because the driver's credit card machine couldn't connect to the nearest cell tower, so Victor at the concierge offered his cash to pay for the tax - a lifesaver (Thank you!).

the internet can be sort of slow sometimes

My only negative point on my stay here is the Internet, for most part it is fine,

My only concern is with the internet connection.

It is not convenient to charge  devices .

The hotel wifi was not compatible with our baby monitor and Mr Khan sent his IT engineer to assist us (unfortunately we could not fix the issue so instead purchased data to use as a hotspot).

The most annoying thing other than the wifi would be the lifts that take very long to arrive.

WiFi: code connects 4 devices only, we are a group of 3 with 6 devices and have had to followup 8 times.

The Wifi is a bit slow and the reception didn’t explain well how to connect.

Only issue had was internet was not great, they definitely need to improve the speed stability and get better routers.

The wifi was a bit wacky though, they worked hard on fixing it though.

Only downside is the numerous wifi issues the hotel had,

One thing to can be improved is to have more reliable WiFi connectivity in the apartment.

We chose this Hotel for its proximity to Dubai Opera House, Downtown and Dubai Mall.

My husband booked a night stay at this hotel along with a visit to Dubai Opera House to see the performance of Phantom of the Opera for my birthday present.

Also great location to Dubai opera,mall and only 10/15 min to airport.

The walk was thru Burj Park and past Dubai Opera.

Great location, a couple of minutes from Burj Khalifa & Dubai Mall.

It’s very comfortable place in terms of stay and location

Asking for elevated floor becausevthe view is better.

To Dubai mall for shopping is only 13 DH or a good few minutes walk .

It wash greet ahmed in the concierge is the best one he helps us alot my two girls live the room and the pool the food was nice and they give us nice room view everything is nearby the hotel pharmacy,food , emarets mall , and clean room and very comfortable

Also, tge location is near many great sites like Dubai Mall

The Pullman Hotel is well located in the City, just 15 mins walk to the Mall & Burj Khalifa.

Dubai Mall is about a 15-20 minute walk away.

Location for Dubai Mall is good and close.

While the whole stay at the hotel has been a very good experience, the performance of the staff assigned to the club lounge have been particularly superb.

I am gold member so I choose to stay a Accor property Pullman here for 2 days as second times, it was really good hotel with accommodating staff .Room was renovated and had a very good view.Access to club lounge which has perfect ambience and food was very tasty .I would like to really appreciate to SNOW in the club lounge and I met her at the reception when my first stayed as well she accommodate well my Boking.

It's all about experience, Stalin & Janak, in the  short time of cleaning up my room made me feel like home by entertaining with Nepal and Indian culture.

Her hands were like magic, she knew were all my knots and aches were.

We got their whole attention to us, Ms Sayma and chef Mentu were sooo Co operatives, even there were few guests, they are giving attention to all, thank you ladies and thank you club lounge, Pullman Dubai downtown one of the best property in Dubai.

Jackson the a barista at the Downtown hotel branch makes Amazing coffee, is VERY welcoming and super professional !

She knows exactly what to do and how to act / react.

You can easily connect your phone to it and watch your favorite show.

Jackson was our server and he went above and beyond to accommodate us.

Rhein and Jackson served us at breakfast and they made an excellent job and we could feel that they do their work with passion and joy.

Special mention to Jackson and his warm welcome and friendly service at breakfast, as well as Kein (not sure of name) the lady who efficiently whisked guests to their tables each morning, Also a shout out to Beck and Attita for their wonderful service in the Lounge.

Happy hour in the lounge ran rom 5pm -8pm so we afforded ourselves an hour for pre theatre drinks and canopes.

The manager claims that they cannot guarantee a Burj View non-smoking room even if you have this information advertised and listed on your confirmed booking reservation.

Smells like a cigarette in the room. Dusty.

but I don’t think this is appropriate for customers who don’t like smoking.

but absolutely abysmal, especially for a hotel of this standard, the room had a stale smell and needs to be renovated.

The room that we have was having intensive smell of tobacco, not very pleasant when you are not a smoker.

but somehow it is moving down the drain slowly.

In the suite, there was a weird foul smell and so was in the shower cabin which was there through out our stay.

Just a little bit bothered from all the air fragrances used even in the room.

We specifically mention we need a non - smoking room and yet they put us in a smoking room.

Although we got another room as soon as we arrived, the smell was same.

1 - smoking rooms availability ; more rooms should be allocated to customers 
2 - insufficient hot water in showers; apparently one person's  shower is allowed as water coming through hot tap becomes real cold

there is much point I wasn't comfortable with, 

1- the smell of lobby and room even towels, duvets and tissue was bad.

Bed is not comfortable and some dusk and molds are visible.

Unusual smell in the room so requested to change room.

The smell of the hotel is very bad especially in the corridors
The services are very ordinary compared to other hotels of the same category
I asked a room for smokers to give me a normal room and they told me this room for smokers is a bad style

I haven’t had a massage quite as incredible as this before.

The spa is a definite must to whether you are residents of Dubai or visitors .

I am definitely booking my next spa treatment with Pullman ❤️❤️

We enjoyed our stay in the hotel the breakfast venue was amazing, the service was really good too, we did as well a message treatment at their spa and it was really good, a big thanks to Tania she did an amazing job, we are sure want to come back

I have been coming to this spa for years and Thunya has been my masseuse.

I would definitely come again next time for another massage treatment.

I also had the hot candle massage at the hotel, it was the best massage I've ever had.

The spa facility was very nice and clean, Nacha the therapist was excellent, she did a wonderful job, especially that I had an injury before and I was in so much pain for long time.

The hotel is at a walking distance from the Dubai mall (20 minutes), for the most courageous people.

It is very near to the city and you can reach the Dubai Mall very quick what is ah great plus point.

The swimming pool offered us magnificent views over the city and you could use a free shuttle to get to the Dubai Mall.

Additionally my room faced a new construction site, making it extremely unpleasant to look out the window especially when I thought I was getting a view of the Burj and not a tiny sliver of it.

The view from the very dusty glass facade in the room is clouded by Dubai's construction sites.

If you're choosing the Taj Dubai for the view of the Burj Khalifa, then you may be disappointed when you see that it's obstructed by all the construction that is going on around that area.
