Our shower has been a bit leaky and the shower head is falling off.

but there was mold in the room and multiple items were just broken and bathroom tiles were coming off.

Toilet was broken, soap dispenser was broken, balcony door was broken and couldn't close.

Issue I had in one the rooms was an ants infestation coming out of a hole in the bathroom.

BATHROOM- there is a separate bathroom and toilet in the rooms.

The shower is a box you can barely fit in.

The shower leaked through the door and made the floor slippy which was fun.

I woke up with a loud noise of glass squeaking from the toilet, found nothing broken,

but this hotel is so bad very dodgy did not feel safe and the food was a health problem my 16 year and 13 year old sons room flooded at 5am two men let there self in the room stood over them in the dark and told them they had to move rooms without informing me i was absolutely frantic not knowing were my sons were.

The toilets round the pool sink was blocked so couldn’t was your hands after.

There was no coffee or tea amenities and only 2 towels were available

Toilet roll and famished up food around the pool.

I emailed the admin team about a few issues, (shower door unable to close, flickering light, no hot water to basin, loose toilet seat) All fixed within 24 hours) Unfortunately, the extractor fans in the bathroom and toilet of both rooms, are cosmetic, never worked, even after requesting maintenance.

Hard to turn round and wash in the shower without turning the water off with your bum.

Our room as you can see from the photo was plagued with ants especially in the bathroom, despite being told it had been sanitizer when I mentioned it to cleaning staff, they were there every day.

I'm here at the moment, rooms are small and basic
Hotel amenities are great, entertainment team are great, food and drink good 
HOWEVER on the first day, I returned to my room  my door was open and things were missing.

Now for the negatives the beds are extremely hard ,rooms lack basic amenties such as a kettle (unless you want to rent one for your stay) Water pressure in shower very weak .Main food hall  extremely congested with no real flow ,so people going in all directions and labels on food often incorrect .The food in this hall is very repetetive ,looks to be recycled from one day to the next.

The toilet door lock was faulty resulting in our 3 year old managing to lock himself inside

The mirror in the bathroom is lit with a strange yellow light and there’s a window to the bedroom, it’s part shaded

We did have a broken bathroom door handle which means anyone shutting the door had to be let out.

The accommodation is presented as 4 star and in the context of global hotel standards it is below the standard of say a Dubai 4 star or a Singapore 4 star

We’ve been quad biking (which we booked through the Love Holidays rep out here which was £125 for the 4 of us).

Staff were all friendly attentive nothing was too much trouble there was plenty of choice with food rooms were cleaned everyday the only thing to spoil our holiday was it was very cold at night and early morning

This trip was intended as a cheap getaway, with Aqua Mirage as a base to explore Marrakech.

We stayed in this hotel via our British airways holiday package and found it good value for the money.

I've done a lot of 5 start holidays and let me tell you this 1 topped them all!!

Overall had a lovely holiday and the weather was fab 👌, its was a lovely 4 days and we would definitely return to this hotel.

Animation team are the best and have made this holiday for us.

But despite the negatives, there were lots of positives about the hotel and we had a nice holiday.

None of us were ill in any way, and the boys are demanding that we return, both adamant it was the best holiday ever!

I cannot recommend this hotel enough it’s a must visit for a relaxing vacation.

The entertainment is awesome and the staff are so attentive and friendly I'd highly recommend this place for a holiday for all

What made our holiday the most was the entertainment team especially Kalil.

The best holiday with 17 of us as a large family group, the entertainment team made the holiday the best experience.. going above and beyond.. especially khalil and pickachu.. they made our stay the best and we cant thank them enough xxx

Honestly a great holiday had by all and hoping to return again - thank you Aqua Mirage!

Amenities - comfortable beds, ac/heater works decent, food has variety for all age groups and diets - one feedback i gave to the restaurant staff was to have food labels and ingredients listed , else it was difficult to figure out what each food was.

We would rate the hotel as :
Food 7/10 (lunch and dinner are probably an 8/10

but why eat that when real food is available.

There is a good variety of food including stamdard dishes like pizza and chicken nugets for kids in addition to more complex Moroccan dishes.

In summary, if you like chicken nuggets for dinner every night, staff that don’t really care and hard beds then you’ll love it.

The services, entertainments, meals and staff friendliness were so good that I have not seen them before.

Pros:

- Beautiful well looked after grounds
- Delicious Moroccan food

Cons:
- Food isn't labelled properly.

but everything was very clean, the food was great and the staff were really welcoming and super helpful.

There is a huge range of food that would suit everyone even the pickiest eaters.

We had a great time at this hotel, most staff were pleasant ( with the exception of a few rude bar staff ) 
Excellent food choices 😋 and my hubby is a fussy typical English food man and even he enjoyed the food.

Very good food for both vegetarian and non Vegetarian plus for kids.

The entertainment staff were lovely and always did their best to engage with both us and our children.

The evening entertainment is outside, which at this time of year means wearing coats and it’s pretty poor too.

This held up our departure as there are often long queues at reception.

The in house entertainment people do interact with guests and provide aqua aerobics, sports etc during the day and there is a huge outdoor stage at night.

The water park was great fun and very clean and safe.

Would imagine that if you have a young family and the temperatures are warmer, this would be a brilliant place for them to enjoy the water park and many activities on offer every day, with an excellent and incredibly enthusiastic entertainment team on hand.

however they have a heated pool which is a great size for winter, the water park was also fun!

The water park is great for the kids, and all staff were extremely friendly, including the bar and security staff.

This is the perfect place for kids, the younger kids waterpark is amazing and kept kids entertained all day, the bigger water park was brilliant aswell, it was good to see so many life guards on duty.

Good points - The water park with wave pool will keep all the family occupied, The resort staff are friendly and helpful, The entertainment team are a great bunch always chatting to the guests and keeping the place fun, The waiting staff could not do enough to help in the main restaurant, and the barmen kept us supplied with ample drinks.

The water park was brilliant, never had to worry about getting a sun bed and never any queues for any of the slides.

FACILITIES- We appreciated the choice of water park, main pool or quiet pool.

The water park was fabulous, always being cleaned (there are alot of wasp/flies in the area) drinks and snacks available.

If travelling without young children the pool bar is a must, quiet with a bar open till 6
If u don’t fancy the restaurant each day the banquets and salad at the water park are a must
When asking for beer ask for bottled beer better than the draught
Taxi easy to use just ensure price before u get in and don’t be frightened to banter, we paid 150 for 4 to market or can use the shuttle bus, be warned be there 5-10 mins early as doesn’t wait
All in all apart from the earthquake an enjoyable trip

Situated around the pools, the water park & activity locations, there is always a variety of lounging locations to choose from.

The water park and pools are good fun and the shows were fun to watch.

True unbelievable service which I have not seen anywhere and I have stayed everywhere from Mauritius to Dubai.

We stayed at this wonderful hotel for my son's 21st birthday, it was a choice of mexico or Dubai and I'm so glad we stayed here.

We've travelled to the Maldives, Dubai , America, Europe, so after reading all the brilliant reviews on here I was really hoping for something outstanding.

It was absolutely a wonderful vacation for us!

We can safely say this was the best holiday we’ve experienced.

Also special thanks to the duty manager, Braulio, who did his best to enjoy our holidays and made sure that we could leave in time when our taxi did not show up.

Just returned from a fabulous holiday at TRS Yucatan.

I have never been on such a beautiful, relaxing vacation!

We also would like to highly commend Martha at Helios who was friendly , accommodating , and looked after us throughout our entire holiday.

A daytrip to the maya ruins in Tulum, a snorkel adventure with sea turtles, a swim in a cenote followed with an authentic mexican dinner in a local restaurant of the beaten path, made our mini vacation complete.

Absolutely 100 percent best vacation I have ever experienced.

After two great trips to TRS Coral resort including our wedding back in February 2023 we decided to give TRS Yucatan a try on a long weekend, pre-holiday getaway and it did not disappoint!!!

Alex at the infinity pool kept bringing us drinks without us asking and he made sure we were enjoying our time.

The Infinity Pool and Saltwater Pool were amazing.

With the exception of waiting for towels at the pool(s), the exceptional staff and concierge service made up for it!

Throughout our stay, we moved around the various pools, some with live music and others that were more peaceful (the ‘quiet’ pools).

The lobbies, villas, restaurants, bars, garden and pool areas, the standard of cleanliness is excellent everywhere.

We loved the pools throughout the resort.

The 3 pools give you the possibility to change scenery and enjoy different places in the hotel.

We saw staff stop others coming to the pools that were not allowed.

Pool:
The setting around the infinity pool is beautiful and serene.

The pools were all clean and well-maintained,

Pool rooms didn’t offer the privacy we needed.

We spend the majority of time by the infinity pool, eating breakfast and lunch at Helios, where all the staff were fantastic and greeted us by name every morning, food and drink was of high standard with great cocktails and great service, even bringing us cocktails in the pool.

There are fish in the moat that you can feed from your balcony hot tub jacuzzi.

The infinity pool grill was a nice feature

The saltwater pool was our absolute favourite for swimming!

Next to our private pool, on the beach, along the winding pathway, in the pretty water feature.

Luckily, there was a nice couple that had a private company they booked outside of the hotel for airport transport that heard what was going on and offered us to get a ride with them if the company they were with allowed - the company did

We had private reformer Pilates classes with the resorts trainer, Elizabeth, every morning (which are included at no extra charge!).

There is a private TRS section with a bar and food and the ocean is amazing with such soft sand!

We loved sitting outside by the private pool and using the pool since we went during one of the hottest, humid months of the year there.

Our suite with a large private infinity pool was spectacular and allowed us to seclude ourselves and enjoy some time together each day.

It is surrounded by jungle and felt very private.

We used the jacuzzi a few times, it worked great, was quiet and felt private.

but if I went back in the summer I would get the private pool.

Wonderful breakfasts at Capricho every morning, followed by relaxations at the tidal pool or private TRS beach drinking exotic elixers recharged our batteries.

We also utilized our private pool which had lovely shade on the day we couldn’t find anything.

There is a private TRS beach area about a fifteen minute walk from the TRS main area.

but quite private, and was pleasant at the end of the day.

Whilst there we booked a private romantic dinner at the Ixmucane Grand Cenote which was so lovely.

I feel this one was north worth it than the romance buglalo that was a “upgrade” we were right next to the infinity pool and had a private pool to ourselves.

Very knowledgable, kept to a good schedule and readjusted the trip so we visited the cenote first so we could have a private swim!

It was a great experience to have the option to try both rooms

If you need to take a shower before your room is ready, they have a very clean little private shower space for men and women (see attached photo).

but for the cost, I would expect more than 2 restaurants that stay open.

Maria worked at the bar by the infinity pool grill and she made the best cocktails and drinks and was so nice to us.

Gorgeous grounds, excellent food options.

The New Year eve special dinner was great could use a little more elaborate menu.

We went to Tentazione (Italian dinner) and the food was great.

The French, Italian and Argentenian restaurants were also great.

The food in some of the restaurants  can be inconsistent

He másé great suggestions - this is how we tried one of our best desserts ever (verrine de coco. ).

Helios: The breakfast / brunch buffet spread was incredible.

The food in every restaurant was great and I have never experienced service like this before.

Furthermore, the culinary experience, while generally satisfactory, could benefit from a broader variety of options in Chic Cabaret Restaurant.

We tried all restaurants and as per usual, the service and the staff were great.

The moonlight dinner, (once a month at full moon) was fantastic, best dinner we had.

He made moments at the pool entertaining with his singing and dancing when he brought our drinks.

The Chic show is a must and also the new restaurant/show Bravo!

Chic Caberet is a “do not miss” evening experience!

and a superb evening of music, dancing and entertainment.

The New Year's Party was the best with music, dancing, fireworks and lots of drinks.

wonderful place, the staff, the facilities, the food and entertainment were all excellent.

The entertainment staff, Marfa, Emmy etc and incredible!

The Chic Cabaret show is an absolute must!

butlers, entertainment instructors, the CHIC dancers, hostesses, the gardeners, the cart drivers, baggage gentlemen, the cleaners, towel boys, bartenders, chefs and wait staff.

The grounds are stunning and love that they make it home for the wildlife too

Entertainment 
Chic Cabaret is great to try for the evening and the bingo was very fun.

The POP entertainment team were great around the infinity pool.

We had dinner at Tetrazione, La Boheme (fondue & French Onion soup, oh my), Chic Cabaret (amazing talent), El Gaucho, Helios (2x) and Sumptuori and enjoyed every meal we had.

Entertainment: The hotel's entertainment options were diverse and engaging.

However, the show was amazing and very bright and spectacular.

The restaurants we selected for dinners were El Dorado (Steakhouse), La Adelita (Mexican), Helios (Mediterranean), Portofino (Italian), and Chic Cabaret (Mixed Menu - 7 Course Meal all while watching a great entertaining evening of dance and music) - all of which were fantastic.

however they do smell damp and musty, as does the bedding.

As much as we tried to get rid of the smell, it persisted throughout our stay.

All of our clothes and room smell like mildew.

but smelled like mildew for our entire stay.

The smell was overpowering and our clothes were constantly wet.

Writing on my last day at TRS ☹️

The Room-
We stayed in block 69 it did have a musty smell about it, not sure what it is it did not seem to go either whilst we were there, our room had the jacuzzi on the balcony

As it is in most humid places, the pillows and sheets smelled moldy/sour.

The room had a terrible smell and we experienced a power outage twice!

The rooms with the jacuzzi do not have a damp (I use that word lightly no rooms has a bad smell) smell at all they are probably the better condition of the rooms especially top floor the room cleaning and turn down was always perfect .

Would I class it as a 5* hotel definitely not more like 3.5 at a push, room was musty and damp and really smelt, everything looked a bit tired, food was hit and miss, some restaurants were better than others, wine was awful unless you pay more for better wine.

Your basket will consist of stale bread and cold unseasoned steak slices.

This room had no issues with smells or allergy triggers,

Great experience would go agian ,but I wouldn't get the pool suite next time due to the fowl smell coming from the standing water by our room and the cart guys that pick you up if you weren't from their hotel like Colonial they wouldn't take anywhere I would have to wait for an TRS buggy.

The only downfall was a strong smell of drains in our room and the attitude of a male receptionist at Zentropia…we were hardly ever in the room so decided not to complain and for the receptionist…hmm let’s just assume he had a bad day.

People were smoking at the sun loungers and even in the pool despite there being a non smoking policy.

Also, some stains on the toilet and molds in shower room

butler this guy was a really welcoming showed how the  tv worked with app Room did smell damp but it was clean 
They advertise the wish list but it was something we never got which was disappointing, daily we had to ask for fridge to be topped up 
Overview the hotel it's nice but  felt there was alot of inconsistencies.

We were not expecting to be choking on cigarette smoke in a country where it is apparently illegal to smoke except in designated areas.

We were on honeymoon so it was about relaxing, last two days was slightly impacted  by next door smoking drugs on the balcony & partying all night.

The Spa is amazing and so are the pools and the beach.
