Marred by poor service in house keeping and one lady at the reception lobby area who seems to judge guests by their looks and checks to make sure you are indeed a guest here, snd think you are a random person off the street, despite telling them your room number and name.

Santos, at first we were given a poor room,

but I would never think EMAAR will let such poor service happen umder the name of their company.

The Room Service & Breakfast std are also pretty poor.

For example, the wood floor in the ground floor restaurant where breakfast is served is in bad condition and uneven with poor underlayment support.

Yes, the wifi reception at the pool was very poor.

The food was amazing with a lot of collection.

Dinner recommendations and reservations. Done.

The quality of food in the Seafood buffet was very  fresh and good.

This is a brunch for seafood lovers with 3 different styles of lobster + a great section of sushi and sashimi.

I’ve sampled several brunch’s in Dubai,

We went for the 1kg rib eye which was a lot of meat for the 2 of us

Starting from the hotel gate (AbuBaker) and in the reception (Osamah) and also in the restaurant (Hamdi) they all makes you feel comfortable as you are in your home.

Great time at ewaan brunch, fantastic food and variety.

The place itself is so cozy and amazing, they have wide array of food selection, and the staffs are so well attentive and polite!.

Royal place, wide selection of delicious food, stellar service, Mark Dinara is so taking care and nice, anyone feels super VIP with him!

There was a wide choice in the food, and if not all, then most of the food were tasty.

Singer she was amazing , the food was a lot of options and very fresh and delicious.

We had chosen a Palace Fountain View Room which was absolutely beautiful and the staff had been kind enough to decorate the bed and gift us a cake and a lovely note for our honeymoon too. We loved watching the fountain show from our balcony every evening (I lost track of how many times we had watched it by the time we left!)

The restaurant seats and atmosphere is really nice with the lovely singer and life band.

On site you also have Asado for an Argentine steak and some delicious Malbec and Thiptara for mouth watering Thai food and thee best seats in the house for the Burj and Fountain shows.

Very good service from mark and ari, really enjoyed the good and service, worth it as on the entertainer and makes the offer very good.

The singer was great and you will not feel bored.

Went to Ewaan for girls out, it was really nice atmosphere, great variety of food, the music was entertaining, the waiters Asgar always kept our table clean, we can for the seafood, unlimited oyster supply.

Best of all they have BOGO offer on the entertainer and its resuable! !

We had a great seat by the window and was able to even see the Dubai fountain show.

I gravitated naturally to my killer trio of seafood: prawns, lobsters and oysters!

Will definitely be back again in winter to sit outside and watch the fountain show.

Everything contributed to our perception of magic - both interiors and exteriors, rooms and suites where we stayed are all imbued with oriental flavor and atmosphere.

The location is perfect to watch the fountain show in front of the Burj Khalifa!

Food was amazing, perfect view of the water fountain, water show,.

There was entertainment (singing) and she was excellent with a mix of classic tunes and old favourites.

but linked to Dubai Mall for shopping and dining and surrounded by Burf Kalif and other skyscrapers, Opera house etc.

Very slow service, in short very expensive for what they offer.

An area of improvement I would say is that Buhayra Lounge can have extra staff at times as service is slow

Check In was very slow and took more than 20 minutes!

although the in room stereo is very dated and the tv is very slow with limited choice ( not a major problem as you are doing it wrong if you stay in the room the whole time )

The highlight for us on this whole stay, were the staff.

The property is fairly old.We stayed in the palace suites we think they are over ratted and dont recomend as they are old , dated, sewer smell from shower and carpet was  dirty.For the price we paid we should have got something much better.I would rate in a 3star quality with a 5star position.Pool area nothing special.Breakfast buffet was standard and service in the morning was terrible,waiters were slow and did not respond to us quickly as they had to be reminded that we are still waiting for our basic requests like a teaspoon on serveral times.

Pool service is a little slow and not enough aware of the guests,

Unfortunately the meat was terribly tough, certainly neither a baby goat nor slow cooked.

I have just stayed at the palace for the fith time and have noticed the decline in the quality of the room and bathrooms.The WC and showering fittings plus the only working basin that was working all require repair making the room not fit for purpose.The hotel was as lovely as always the breakfast is superb and the staff wonderful.The booking in and out is a little slow,they need more staff behind the concierge I think

The only issue we had was that the internet/Wifi in our room kept dropping out and was very slow at times.

The service was very SLOW and there where not many people in the dining room.

The attendants were slow to serve tea and crockery for cereals had to be requested.

We have celebrated the 4th birthday of my daughter,  Ahmed and Ari Were very lovely with our kids and have made our experience even nicer.

I had an amazing brunch experience with my wife and her family.

The Dubai mall is a few minutes away from the hotel and there’s lots of lovely restaurants in the area.

Of course its closeness and easy access to the Dubai Mall is a big plus.

The Palace Downtown is perfectly located and so close to the Dubai Mall.

You are steps away from 25 other dining options including the Time Out Lounge and the Dubai Mall is about a 5 minute walk.

It is right next-door to the Dubai Mall and the pool had the views of Burj Khalifa and the city of Dubai.

It is around a 3 minute walk to the Dubai mall and fountain.

The hotel is very conveniently located and is approximately a 2-minute walk to Souk Al Bahar and a 5-minute walk to the Dubai Mall.

At the best location in Dubai at the fountains and opposite of the Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa this hotel with superb restaurants, swimming pool and will give their visitors an unforgettable memory.

Nearby the Dubai mall  drinks are tasty and no wishes are unforrilled.

It is close at the dubai mall and have so good restaurants like Thiptara.

You can get easily from anywhere and the Dubai Mall is literally <5min away.

Amazing brunch in a very pleasant landscape around the Dubai Mall fountain.

An upscale souk was right beside the hotel with many nice shops and restaurants.The Dubai Mall was 5 to 7 minutes as you walk around the Dubai Fountains pool area.

Certainly one of the best hotel in town due to its location facing the Burj Khalifa and 2 minutes walk to the Dubai Mall (the largest one in the city) .

Palace Downtown is a beautiful hotel conveniently located near the Dubai mall and the Dubai Fountain.

The views were fabulous overlooking the Dubai Mall fountains and Burj Khalifa. .

The main reason to stay here is the proximity to the Dubai mall and restaurant options, highly recommend.

It was my first time in dubai and staying at this hotel was the best decision, its so close to everything and even with walking distance to the dubai mall and souk bahar

The restaurants were excellent

Breakfast and lunch deal was great value and staff ensured your glass was always filled in the evening.

Food on breakfast and dinner in both restaurants we have been eaten are top quality, at the pool side always had staff to make sure u r ok, or need anything.

Also to Angelica for looking after us at breakfast and dinner and engaging with the kids.

The hotel is spotless clean, the breakfast and dinner offering caters for everyone and there is always something new to try.

but really enjoyed the main buffet restaurant (Market place) for breakfast and dinner, so much choice,great quality.fresh pizzas and steaks cooked.you can pay only in market place £20 for unlimited drinks for 2 hours, 6pm-8pm .that’s reasonable considering most (alcoholic)drinks cost £12 each.

Breakfast and Dinner were included in package, The food range  was great and very varied.

The collective by market cafe excellent for buffet breakfast and lunch and in panini the coffee shop mr mangal and his team make you feel very hospitable and the sandwiches salads are my favorite.

It would be unfair if I did'nt mention the service we met with when we had breakfast and dinner at the hotel.

lovely 4 night break, room large and clean, buffet food very good and includes good selection of alcoholic beverages in half board deal.

The food was delicious and the room was large and exceptionally clean.

The lady in in room dining who took my breakfast order every morning started remembering my order half way into our stay and was always so friendly to us.

 Excellent service, Incredible staff at breakfast and dinner at the  Atrium Market venue.

Breakfast and dinner were in The Collective, which offers a great variety and quality of foods, for both adults and kids.

The buffet food in the Market cafe was delicious

Since I am a Globalist, I had access to the club lounge, free breakfast buffet and free dinner buffet.

Rooms are well maintained and comfortable and the food selection at the breakfast and dinner buffet are fantastic.

Breakfast was amazing , full of delicious food , beverage , fruit and juice .

The Market Cafe offers nice varieties for breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets, which we highly recommend you add to your room package.

The food in the market restaurant was plentiful and delicious and the jazz bar was great for after dinner drinks.

Everybody was helpful when we needed anyghing, in-room dining was delicious.

The Hotel is perfectly located so no more than 20mins from Airport, all restaurants top quality service and child friendly.

Over the road is a big kids entertainment area with arcades,soft play,cinema and sports bar,you need to pay additional fees to use this.

The pools were perfect and the children loved it.

The pool area is huge and clean and half of it deep 2.0 meters, the childrens pool is good and big, and entertaining esp for the bigger kids 🤪.

Would highly recommend Especially if staying with young children.

The in room dining was an experience also, our little boy is still reeling from it.The cocktails served at the pool are superb, and the pool service is still amazing, the vibe is vibrant and upbeat and although a bit from jbr, this is where you'll get some of the best service anyway..we tried a couple of restaurants

Once i was released from quarantine and had a free day before my flight, I was able to go down to their wonderful pool area - which is awesome for families since it's huge and has pool depths anywhere from 1 foot to 7+feet as well as a fun kids pool and slide.

Great pool (and for kids) , Sauna and Spa centre.

All staff do their utmost to give guests, also children, a good experience, which we really appreciate.

Food here has been outstanding and my two teen sons have loved this aspect.

My son really enjoyed the pool and their food.

A great stay with family especially with children.

My husband, adult daughter and myself booked a club family room for a six night break.

Wonderful food that varied from day to day, nice pool area, even for small children.

If not staying in this hotel you we loose the nice and

The food was very good at The Market place and the staff went the extra mile to make our stay very special giving us excellent service.

Rajeev was really good too in the Market bar during breakfast too.

The Market Café: This is the buffet restaurant where we had breakfast every morning.

Big shout out to the staff in the Market Cafe who looked after us very well.

We ate in the Market place twice as it was included in  our hotel deal and we were astounded by the quality and choice of menu.

If you have chance to have breakfast at market.

The highlight of this property would be the breakfast and dinner buffets served at the Market cafe.

Shame such a big hotel with poor aftercare, once they had your business do not want to respond/refund.

We always book Clubroom so extremely disappointed that the alternative was so poor and a rip off.

I have never had to endure this level of poor service at any hotel, let alone one that has 5 stars.

Its such a shame that the venue is let down by poor service, we ventured down to the pool on the first day after checking in and made use of the pool services and ordered food and drink  and were waiting 40 minutes for the poolside drinks and food to arrive and when they did they forgot some of the order.

Their customer service is so poor that we will never stay here again.

Having stayed here for a continuous 22 nights, I can tell you that the food was boring and bland, the cleanliness poor and the management scarily absent.

Nothing special, expensive and poor food menu,totally disappointing!

but the service was poor to a point that we had to keep asking and calling house keeping to keep up to normal amenities provided

the only place where you feel that they need more training is at the pool (service is poor)!

Some of the onsite restaurants , particularly Andiamo was a major disappointment - long waits and poor dishes

Check in was poor, no offer of a drink or to sit down, felt like we were processed, room then didn’t have sufficient beds in it, as we are club half board you are restricted to one restaurant that you can only enter into between 6 and .8pm.

Turn down service only if asked, room view not ideal, poor attention from staff at lobby and half board information not clear from neither the lobby staff or the grand club lounge.

Negatives: 

Language- We found that the staff to have very poor standard of English.

The quality of the food in 2 of the restaurants is of poor standard and variety and luke warm, the chicken was under cooked and pink, you have to que and the set up is something i have never experienced before you are treated like cattle pushed about and crammed in just to try and get a meal.

We are food fussy and mega foodies in our family

So attentive everywhere, from the pool,  Bikesh will look after you to Andiamo Restaurant where Himanshu will be the best host.

but they have extended it to juice or soft drinks but NO food.

It’s our 3rd time in this hotel, every time is wonderful stay, the staff are amazing especially at the restaurant Rabii, Julie, Lissa, Pratap, Cristy at the lobby and Jackie at reception, we had a brilliant time me and my husband , ones again Thank you 😊

The Fb managers of the hotel the two gentlemen both by the name  mr Fredrick take good care of the guests and if one likes Lebanese food Awatar is one of the best Lebanese food for me in town .

Cooz bar was the highlight of the stay (surprisingly closed on mondays), great atmosphere, superb cocktails and excellent in house singer.

Really good hotel, service minded staff, fantastic pool area, good variety at breakfast, nice restaurants and fabulous rooms.

Very nice clean rooms, great personnel, great pool area with heated pool, complementary transport to beach, the Dubai Mall end Expo.

Furthermore, the location was in the middle of Dubai airport and business area and near by the Dubai Mall and Dubai Trade center….. the

They used to have free shuttle to the Dubai Mall, La Mer beach, and Mosque before the pandemic.

Grand Hyatt Dubai is one of the best hotels to stay in dubai, the staff there is very kind and helpful, the rooms sizes are much bigger than the standard sizes worldwide, the food is awesome and location too is fantastic, just 5 mins away from the dubai international airport and 10 mins away from the Dubai mall.

The hotel is situated in a perfect location only 10min drive from the Dubai mall/ city centre & only 15/20 min from the airport.

The property was about a 20-30 minute train ride to the Dubai mall and Burj Karifa.

If you are wanting to visit the Dubai Mall it is only a short drive away and the taxi fare was around $25-30.

It's a short 10 minute taxi ride from the airport and from the Dubai Mall, perfect position really.

Set in contemporary curve-shaped buildings, this sprawling luxury hotel is 10 km from both the Burj Khalifa skyscraper and The Dubai Mall.

The hotel is 10 mins by taxi which you can pick up readily at the front lobby to the Dubai Mall and also to the souks in Deira and cost £5/6.

I thought this hotel was in a great location too, only a short drive to the Dubai mall where we spent a few of our evenings!!!

Taxis always available and a short ride to the Dubai Mall, we also visited Lego Land with our children which was about 45 min taxi ride to well worth the visit.

Being centerally located is is within easy reach of the souks and the CBD - A short 25 dirhams taxi drive to the Dubai Mall -  to see the fountain and light  display -
The swimming pools  are large and the kids pool is great -  

It's a short 20min cab to the Dubai Mall or there is a closer Mall by the Raffles Hotel if needed.

Take a taxi to the Dubai Mall with its huge aquarium, ice rink, fountains etc which is by far the best in Dubai.

You can take a taxi or Uber to the Dubai mall, (downtown) for less than 10 USD.

It’s only a short hop to the Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa in a taxi (around£5) and the metro station is very close by.

We did a lot in five days from visiting the Dubai Mall, Atlantis Palm, Desert Safari and the Burj Khalifia, beaches, gold souk all by taxi, there was so much we wanted to do and will be visiting again later on in the year to celebrate another birthday.
