Great work by the restaurant staff during breakfast; they did their best to ensure we were taken care of to the best.

I must mention Shiva, Maya, Puja & Shubham - the way they manage the breakfast crowds is a feat in itself!

We are now considering a longer stay because we love the food (We ate at Tesoro restaurant for breakfast and the Eloquent Elephant for dinner), and the service is exceptionally good.

But what really makes this hotel special is the breakfast!

We had so many dishes to try from the buffet and breakfast was never boring.

Enjoyed afternoon tea there as well as a particularly nice breakfast.

From welcome, reception, room, breakfast and bar/restaurant, the quality and attention of the staff is of very high standard.

Bombay Brasserie is the best Indian restaurant in Dubai and the breakfast is excellent.

Tesoro had great breakfast options and lunch menu.

professional, kind and helpful staff, comfort and clean room, tasty and much choices in the breakfast, great fitness center.

Right from the first minute, by unloading the luggage from the car, from the room service and little details as remembering which juice I like, asking to re-fill it during breakfast (in the lounge as well in Tesoro), to additional dessert or juices by the staff in the in room dining.

The breakfast restaurant has very good food thanks to Shiv and his team.

Shuttle bus to Dubai mall every hour, we used every day.

The food was brilliant, so much to choose from at breakfast!

Mr. Sandeep from TreeHouse /Buffet Breakfast is also one of the best staff among the team who kept taking care of us.

Additionally my room faced a new construction site, making it extremely unpleasant to look out the window especially when I thought I was getting a view of the Burj and not a tiny sliver of it.

The view from the very dusty glass facade in the room is clouded by Dubai's construction sites.

If you're choosing the Taj Dubai for the view of the Burj Khalifa, then you may be disappointed when you see that it's obstructed by all the construction that is going on around that area.

although there was construction at the entrance that gave a bad first impression.

The only draw back is that it is not really walking distance to much - not the hotel's fault - it is a big city, with long blocks and lots of construction.

As usual in Dubai, there are construction work on going and a part of this nice view will change a bit.

however, we saw construction and dirt and no city.

You would have to cross some major roads and or go through construction so we had to take Taxis.

It was a pity that there were constructions all around, making the outdoor area seem messy.

My only complaint was that despite its close proximity to the burj khalifa, fountain, and opera it was difficult to walk there due to highways and construction (but that is very typical of Dubai).

They charge more for a Burj view room (unfortunately, the only alternative is a construction view).

but check construction noise across street.If problem, will switch rooms if avail.Ask for other side,not higher up.Dubai’s construction is skyscrapers;  higher won’t help.

Possiblilities for kids were limited, a lot of construction is going on opposite the hotel (of course the hotel cannot do anything about this), the bar is very noisy and took all night long (i stopped hearing music at 6am).

Unfortunately we were given a room with awful views over a construction site!

A little tricky to find with all the construction

for someone from thirsty California it’s baffling to see a construction and population boom in the desert.

Close by, there's a construction site, that is affecting the view during the day,

You should note that Dubai is in constant construction so you will see cranes.

The hotel is very convenient to Dubai Opera, the mall and parks surrounding Burj Khalifa.

The location is also perfect as it is only a short stroll to Dubai Opera and the fountains in front of Burj Khalifa.

If you’re going to the Dubai Opera House, the Taj Dubai is a great place to stay.

My husband and I stayed here for an evening as we were seeing a show in the Dubai Opera.

walk straight cross at Ist light signal and continue walking straight to Dubai opera and it takes you some construction area nearby ..cross the road and hotel is in front of you ..very safe to walk back even at night 11oclock ..may be very lighted up due to Ramadan festivity .

With iconic landmarks like Dubai Opera and The Dubai Fountain in close proximity, Dubai's glitzy  nightlife is a stone’s throw away.

Whether allowing us a complimentary early check-in or the excellent concierge service that booked Burj Al Arab tour for us in moment's notice, whether the bubble bath they arranged for my child or the excellent in-house discounts they offered for dinner at arguably the finest Indian dining establishment in the city - I cannot adequately express how impressed and touched we were by Taj Dubai staff.

Over the years, I have become familiar with and really enjoy South Indian cuisine.

rooms are good, food is very good, specially indian food is availiable.

If you can, try to find Somya, a excellent waitress that will make you into de Indian food, all you need is to ask for the Indian experience.

The hotel offers a wide variety of cuisines and their Indian cuisine is to die for.

I would strongly recommend anyone & everyone visiting Dubai, specially who loves Indian food , should stay @ TAJ DUBAI.

Breakfast is excellent while Indian food is average.

We had a marvellous stay for 4 days among the best of staff be it at the Breakfast & Indian Dinner restaurant specially Sachin, saddeqe, Rohit, Sardarji’s at the gate , it was their ‘ service above self’ at every time

The South Indian cuisine served at break fast was great & 
mouth watering ,specially at a 5 *property at Dubai .

Comfortable room, lovely breakfast buffet and ate Bombay Brasserie for an excellent Indian dinner.

There are plenty of restaurants to eat in from Indian to Asian street-food cuisine and there are great views of the city from the rooms.

Maria is the best employee really she helped us a lot wi the everything when we asking about anything she is going on same time and perfect thanks a lot Maria hotel service amazing and we like the food Indian

The food & service in every restaurant is excellent, there are so many offerings, Miss Tess is an Amazing Asian , Bombay Braserie is an incredible Indian restaurant and the Truffle Prawns in the must visit“Treehouse” are a complete wow!!

The change I paid keeping in mind about facility and it’s proximity to Burj Khalifa and dubai mall.

Fabulous location close to Burke khalifa and shopping mall with free regular bus transfer.

The hotel is 5 minutes away from Dubai Mall and very conveniently located.

It’s a wonderful property well located in the vicinity of Burj Khalifa, Dubai mall and metro stations.

It was a wonderful experience all the managers and senior team members were wonderful , importantly front facing team of  harpal and gurvinder at the gate and saumya jha , puja and pooja were great at resturant

He definitely made our experience even better and hope to see him again next year.

I especially loved walking into the gorgeous lobby daily where I never tired of being greeted with the scent of Jasmine, flowers, and incense - an aromatherapy experience before I even hit the spa!

Only negative were that the bath is quite small plus the wifi not great - other than that, it was a fabulous stay and we'll be back.

- The shower is either very cold or very hot i struggled every time i wanted to take a shower.

but let down by a shower room that you cant find (its hidden behind the towel rail), poor breakfast selection, expensive for a beer.

I was very unimpressed with the shower in the room.

Just one request - pls put a door on the bathrooms.

Unfortunately, the bathroom as a whole did not meet our expectations at all.

noisy, dirty, service is slow and bad.. bathrooms were leaking.. shower  is beyond ridiculous.

The bathroom was leaking to the whole room and carpet.

Water from showers flows everywhere in the bathrooms.

but were adjacent to each other, room smaller than expected, biggest disappointment was shower -and toilet especially - had a flimsy frosted glass door with a gap when closed and no locks on doors, bathroom no door at all.

Perhaps finding a better TV option and making the toilet more private could be an option.

Arrived on business, Tired rooms and stained carpet, sink blocked, wifi weak.

Very bad choice for families also room service was really slow for very simple ask like water or soap.

Very easy excess to Dubai mall.Just that shower is very small  and open no privacy n if u wanna take shower it's very small even for one person

Quite dislike the room interior as cubicle for bathtub shower is an opened concept, thus no privacy.

But I would have appreciated a phone message with a warning before stepping into a cold shower.

Excellent hotel, especially the restaurant 3 in1(Mr. sohom) was an excellent server, it’s location very attractive close to Burj Khalifa and Dubai mall, I do recommend it .

The hotel is strategically located a walking distance from Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Mall.

Room cleanliness was poor, I noticed doors were open and any one can wander in from the outside.

but instead next door to a karaoke night club.

The room next door had smokers and that i could smell at bed time.

It is now 15:30, the "clean room" sign on door and I need to shower and pack before dinner.

Secondly, the balcony door was leaking sound.

The only comment is the bathroom layout where the toilet room door is glass and has an opening on the side without a look and is directly in the room making it lacks privacy.

There was a real estate company with staff next to the elevator

Also one day housekeeping left the door to my room open.

Toilet door doesn't actually close shut, just sort of swings so that it meets the wall.

This hotel design is not to everyone's liking as no door to bathroom.

however, the tub was located right beside the sink -- no doors meant that, to use it, one would need to wear bathing clothes.

Paper thin walls could hear tv  and music from room next door and outside loud cars passing by during night.

Location is very good only the open bathroom to the room and the sink that spread water all over the floor and to the room since there is no door..!! !

but the outdoor employees are bot welcoming or assisting and tge front door decoration are bot proper or nice , rooms small and no privacy if you have other pearson pluse the the sink and the water pipe are not matched, i disnt like the stares in the shower , no bubbles bath near tge bathtop

The toilet is separated from the rest of the bathroom by the room main door!!!

the room are average and not done well, it is in the placed in the sleeping area without a good door, that is so unhygienic.I expected better

The bathroom furnishings were of extremely poor quality.

Food was hardly acceptable , hot dishes choice was poor .

Price is definitely too high for this poor service.

My only remark is that the mini bar is poor: I would have liked to have sparkling and more bottles of still water .

but noisy , if u need to sleep in day time take room on the Otherside since the sound proofing at the balkoni is poor.

Very poor as we were purchasing a number of tea's coffee's during out meeting, a tad embarrassing also.

.. Gordon Ramsay’s restaurants - very, very sorry - it was disaster and poor quality food and service at all of his 3 restaurants at this location in France) and to come home and find that in Dubai we have better quality French food and is at Vida hotel. .

The closet door fell down on my mom due to the poor quality.

It’s a place I would love to visit again for both business and leisure 
Overall it’s a great experience

The food was enjoyable and tasty and what really made the experience wholesome was the customer service of the staff.
