In all honesty I do not think we will be back

Plenty of choice at the breakfast buffet and the option for takeaway coffee.

Breakfast buffet was lovely and we had the Middle Eastern buffet on Friday night which again was delicious.

We felt it was overly marinated in the yogurt.

Previously we were able to also have our breakfast freshly prepared in the Gold Lounge,

To top it all off the last breakfast at the hotel I got talking to one of the waiters his name was Sayantan, what a thoughtful person, he presented us with a beautiful dessert at our table, surly wasn’t expecting that.

We stayed for a week - the hotel is very well maintained and clean - the food is delicious.

Breakfast at Flow, often involved queueing for 15 plus minutes at peak times.

Breakfast is plentiful with lots of choice.

We chilled by the pool , had a few drinks and dinner at the buffet which was decent.

And the 🇧🇷 Frevo Restaurant was really delicious and the cheff Bruno was so kind.

the hotel has great services and the food in the main buffet restaurant and the al la carte restaurants was all of good quality and variety would recommend going the frevo if your a meat lover.

The food was very delicious in all the restaurants and had a good choice.

The food both in the restaurants and the buffet is amazing , can't say which is our favourite, BA was truly stunning , little miss India never fails in amazing food , and frevo is a must do for great meat feast and drinks.

One of the best breakfast selections and the eggs Benedict were delicious

Provides amazing quality food breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Great location so only 9 minutes on the monorail to Atlantis or 10 minutes in a taxi to the Marina, the hotel also provided a free shuttle to the Dubai Mall where the Burj Khalifa and fountains are.

Johnson in the concierge department helped booked the hotel shuttle to the Malls and also helped with booking tickets for the Burj Khalifa - Asante

We were on bed and breakfast so the one night we ate in the hotel was at  Little Miss India and the food was amazing.

This was our fifth visit to Dubai having stayed in other hotels on the Palm and closer to the Burj Khalifa.

We bought Atlantis water park tickets from hotel too, they also booked our reservation at Burj al Arab for tea in the lounge.

We previously had our Afternoon tea at the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi and even at the Burj Khalifa itself.

If you're planning on spending a lot of your time downtown, in places like the Burj Khalifa, recognize that it does take some time to get there from the Palm.

Burj Arab accepted my car for valet parking and for your hotel - my car is too simple ?

Hotel is about 20 min from the famous Dubai mall and burj khalifa.

Good location - not too far up the Palm, east and cheap to get back to the Marina, JBR and 20 mins is to Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa depending on time of day

Skydiving, desert "safari", Burj Khalifa, everything!

In a few minutes by car you can reach Marina of Dubai , and in 10-15 miinutes you are in the center at the Burj Khalifa.

We visited Burj Khalifa, did the desert safari, speed boat tour, Atlantis waterpark and watched the le perle show, I would recommend all of these.

We went on the speedboat trip around the palm, went up the Burj Khalifa, went to Atlantis Waterpark and the Dubai Mall which were all well worth doing.

There is lots to do in Dubai; would definitely recommend the sunset/sand dune adventure with Arabian Adventures, as well as the Dubai Theme Parks, the Dubai Frame, Burj Khalifa, the old town, the list is endless.

John (from Egypt) greeted us warmly at breakfast & lunch and helped arrange for our trip to the top of Burj Khalifa and also helped with the Camel Safari experience that I had dreamed of.

When visiting the Burj Khalifa we took a taxi home from the mall, which is around (60 AED).

The staff were very professional and friendly - Kamila was particularly helpful with booking our excursions to Burj Khalifa, and as we stayed there for my 50th birthday, she also sent a lovely cake and bottle of bubbly with some chocolate truffles and a birthday card up to our room which was a very thoughtful surprise!

We spent 5 nights in Fairmont The Palm and the hotel is in a great location on the start of the palm with easy access to Dubai Marina, Jumeriah area and Dubai Mail/Burj Khalifa.We booked the Gold Room which gives you access to the Gold Lounge with complimentary soft drinks throughout the day, afternoon tea and alcoholic drinks between 5 and 7pm.

but with the construction of the new boardwalk all that has been totally spoilt.

There is some construction on the outer buildings and the Beach area, one of the hotel guests we go to know had to move rooms because the construction was outside her room and was very noisy, there is no direct walk from the pool onto the beach anymore, as there is a long pathway thas has been build along Westbeach and this has separated the hotel and beach directly, this pathway is filled with Beachbards Clubs and Restaurants, St Regis is building a beach club directly opposite the adults pool so the beach view is now permanently blocked which makes some of the video and pictures of the Fairmont outdated.

The construction work was not intrusive, noisy or a eye sore so it was never a issue.

but Dubai is under permanent construction so not unexpected & also it didn’t really bother us.

but I haven't included this in my rating as I knew about it beforehand from the webcam and there are not many places in Dubai that you can completely escape construction. 7.

Something my holiday provider never told me was that the Flow kitchen buffet was going to be the same each night due to ramadan and that's something that's gone into a separate email of complaint, We have also commented on the construction around the pool area as we wasn't told about that either!!!

Our room was on the 9th floor and overlooked enormous floodlit construction sites on both sides.

People walking on the street can look in and during my stay I noticed that the men working on the construction site would stare continuously as they walked passed in the adults pool.

Construction noise most might be aware of that.

Only beach view is not as great as before as a new club is under construction blocking the views.

Not so great: noise from construction work from 6.30 every morning (windows need to be sound proof) + hotel needs an update, furniture and carpets are stained, outdated and worn out.

We didn’t have any noise issues with construction,

I talked with workers yesterday, they told that the construction continues until February at minimum.

However the construction work went through the night.

The beach was scruffy with various bits of rubbish and bottle lids still on it despite apparent litter picking and the entire water’s edge and into the sea is full of sharp stones making leaving the water especially for my elderly parents awkward and uncomfortable , it has construction work ( again) going on next to it and suspect that stone/sand debris is shifting across.

The WiFi was a little weak at some parts of the hotel and there was a construction site on the right side of the hotel which wasn’t loud at all

There has been construction blocking that view for some time

during our stay we had an incident in the hotel that a huge wooden headboard fell on our bed, luckily, we were out fort the evening and dint got hurt, customer service has tried to answer and explain with a few reasons how and why it happened while none of those really made any sense (like the room was under construction during my stay, or the headboard was left by mistake by the cleaners on the bed etc.)

There's a bit of construction going on around the hotel (it is the Palm after all, totally overdeveloped now in my opinion) and offshore on Dubai Harbour,

Little touches like this, make for a fantastic holiday!

Every single member of staff works tirelessly for the comfort of the guests and we certainly appreciated all the little gestures which made for a fab holiday,

Fairmont The Palm has once again been a fantastic holiday, fantastic setting, beautiful food and amazing staff.

They couldnt have been more helpful and made our holiday so much more welcoming.

i was on vacation with my family for 13 days and we had this beautiful hotel Fairmont the Palm.

We just returned home from the most amazing holiday In Dubai.

Myrjam at the reception was first representative of the hotel at the beginning of our holiday, very helpful.

All in all we had the most fabulous 10 day holiday and will 100% be back next year.

but I like to spend my holidays outside relaxing and enjoying the company of family (old & young)… the fairmont just doesn’t allow for that.

We had a wonderful family holiday at the fairmont Shublan from housekeeping was so friendly and helpful it made us feel so welcome.

This was our second holiday at the fairmont on the palm and I can’t  recommend it enough.

Thank you very much for your understanding and made our vacation fantastic.

we stocked up in Waitrose in the Dubai Mall as we were there anyway to go to the Burj Khalifa.

We felt very confident booking our excursions from him and had the best experience during our speed boat tour and Burj Khalifa visit thanks to his advice.

You are about 20mins for all the major attractions, e.g Burj Khalifa, Legoland etc.

He also helped in the seagrill restaurant with our infant blending the food.

Two adult pools which is amazing when you have no children.

What a fabulous hotel, we had a wonderful time celebrating my partners twin girls 40th birthday.

There is a huge kids pool and 2 adult only pools.

the hotel was also really lovely my daughter and my nieces had so much fun.

The boys at the adults pool could not do enough for us while we were at the pool.

A particular mention to the staff at blowfish pool bar who are so attentive, always remembered what we liked to drink etc and made a great effort involving our son and treating him like a friend, he loved it!

Excellent service and room was always spotless, highly recommend staying here

We went to the Seagrill Restaurant a number of times and we were always greeted with a warm welcome, especially from ANUHAS, very cool and kind service all the time and the all staff members  were very attentive to us at all times and friendly to our children. RAJAE is the sweetest lady to greet you at breakfast every morning and my girls loved her.

Pools for kids and playgrounds are sufficient and clean.

We travel with our son who has a serious nut allergy and has to carry an Epipen.

We made the most of this with our kids too and they loved having the scones and cakes in the afternoon.

We did not think our kids at 7 & 4 would have any interest in this,

The kids loved the pools and we went for a dip everyday, the private beach is also gorgeous.

Thank you to Keilagh, Charles, Jennifer, Glenda and Catherine for looking after my daughter.

Their attention to detail was above and beyond they were friendly, professional and our children loved them!

They stole our hearts and our kids hearts.

Arrival was at 3 am so check-in was fast and easy and we went straight to bed, how ever there were issues with the Wifi for the first two days of our stay, we could not use Wifi in our rooms, this was fixed and we didn't have issues since, the Wifi at the adult's pool area is poor, sometimes it's ok

but to be honest management around the hotel seemed poor and not well trained.

but it was very poor with tatty, torn, dirty sunbeds.

but your beach is without a doubt terrible the hole set up is wrong why are the cabana’s positioned at the front why is the water sport complex smack dead Center of the beach at the front not good either also no washroom facilities very poor the food outlet on the beach looks like a street food café rubbish and the loungers look like they are second hand and have seen better days the same can also be said for the sun umbrellas.

My wife cut her mouth and whilst they were apologetic, we didn’t make a fuss and it felt like they tried to brush it under the carpet a little 
- the sports bar only plays football not rugby, poor effort!

The shower head kept slumping no matter how many times you tightened it and the water pressure was poor.

The beach service was very poor and we often had to ask three times to get served.

but the physical service a little poor and slow.

Again, lack of service and poor quality here too.

The daily clean was pretty poor - one day no towels, the next no loo roll (leaving us "out"), then no service at all.

As it is a 5 star, I rate it as poor (after edit: changed to average after apology from front desk).

Felt like we had a cheap package holiday very poor this time.

Their choice of starters for children is also poor - soup is the only choice and this doesnt go down well with young ones!!

This was a truly awful experience each morning and one that was a real issue to us as there was constant queuing in line for food and the amplifying noise meant that it was impossible to have a quiet breakfast, which we have always had when in the Gold Lounge.

however venue extremely busy with family groups and adults wanting a quiet meal - not an ideal mix.

If you like to hear yourself think and maybe even RELAX on holiday then this IS NOT the hotel for you!

I had the famous lamb chops marinaded and cooked to perfection and then served in a sealed jar full of spices and smoke.

(I have NEVER felt like that before) 

Also their is a constant stream of complaints at the front desk so we weren’t the only unsatisfied holidaymakers.

There was no banging house music or drunken youngsters which was what we wanted.

There was non stop loud music pounding and battling each other from the beach clubs and other hotels just beside.

We did hear some traffic noise late at night

We had city view rooms which overlooked the main trunk road of the palm so it was quite noisy with all the cars,

Normally have to wait till 2/3 pm which after a night flight is hard to stay awake.

Rooms overlooking the new beach clubs can get noisy in the afternoon/evening due to music

but we know some guests were not happy with the constitution and the noise during the day.

I find this very rude and insulting as they should believe the guest and it’s not as if she was splashing about and making lots of noise.

There was a construction site either side of the beach when we arrived (but during our stay the boards were mostly removed on the one side) and in front of the adults only pool that was noisy at times

It must be noted that the music seemed to get louder as the meal progressed meaning conversations became challenging without shouting.

but honestly you can barely hear it and there isn’t any dust etc, the first day we sat right next to it and there was very minimal noise.

A bit too noisy with all the brunches to sit by the pool some days as they pump out the music  louder and louder as the afternoon wears on and builders working all night with the building works on the beach (24 hrs) shouldn’t really be allowed as the diggers beep all night when they reverse ..

This meaning it is dusty, full of exhaust fumes and noisy.

There is a MALL up the road with lots of food options if you cant find something at the hotel. Thank you Fairmont :)

The Fairmont is really big, there’s plenty of funky bars and restaurants to choose from.

The food and the ambiance is amazing my family had a grate time they have good selection of wines and the staff is so supportive and friendly.

All the restaurants are amazing, Ba Bodly Asian had an amazing vibe and was one of our favourite nights in Dubai!

The only negative I could find is ridiculously high prices of food and drink within the hotel so would recommend looking at options outside of the hotel for dinner, etc/  They have a great shuttle to Dubai Mall and Mall of Emirates and getting a taxi to anywhere in Dubai is relatively easy.

Lots of choice in restaurants and right opposite the beach for further food and drinks options!

Superb restaurant and Shivani was an excellent hostess.

We had a half board package and all the restaurants we used gave incredible service and good food- especially recommend about Seagrill Bistro and staff were Anuhas and his Partner Sweety Pie work and whose customer service was excellent.

We loved Little Miss India, decor was beautiful and food great.

While tasty, texture wise, it has lost the succulent goodness of the lamb.

The chef de cuisine also visited our table which we find it fantastic!

We have just returned home after a weeks stay in this fantastic hotel, everything is perfect from the welcoming staff, the amazing food and the attention to detail.

When we went to another restaurant and I ordered juice, they brought me juice from the refrigerator (it was already about 7 pm).

Thank you so much to Shivani who looked after us so well in the Little Miss India restaurant.

Lastly the hotel has a few restaurants visit there instragram pages to view more , it’s on another level of serious taste and flavour.

There is several stunning restaurants on site and large grounds with family and adult pools.

From the food to the staff, especially May Cho who served us.

The rating of our stay is justified only by the service received from the staff at the Fairmont.

I would like to commend Jaycin, Vaibha V. and Asanka who were very accommodating during our stay at Fairmont.

The staff were excellent throughout our stay and were looked after exceptionally well by Vaibhav, Asanka, Gilbert & Jaicen from the gold lounge in particular.

He was very courteous and even got my wife and I the last of the date pudding from the kitchen as it had all finished.

Very friendly staff nothing is to much trouble.

I would definitely recommend this lovely restaurant and it’s excellent staff.

All the staff were helpful, courteous and friendly.

We loved everything about it- every single member of staff was fabulous- impeccable service, always with a smile.

We enjoyed the hospitality so much we decided to have dinner again on our last night.

Do Aura sky pool which is over the road it’s one of the best experience we’ve ever had do the 3-7 visit costs about £80 each

we have never seen a super good hospitality person before like her.

I stayed for three nights at Fairmont the palm and i had the best ever experience.

Honestly thanks to 80% of the staff here that we had a good experience for example, waiters, room service and pool staff.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Afternoon tea experience and would highly recommend attending.

We look forward to returning again to enjoy your hospitality.

Absolutely loved my first solo trip to Dubai, Absolutely amazing hotel, very clean, all staff are a credit to the hotel, the staff in BOWL FISH so helpful and welcoming, beach front gorgeous, very clean house keeping staff amazing gentleman maybe called sham, I had trouble with my transfer to Dubai International, John & an Emirati guy forgot his name was absolutely fantastic, they calmed me down after my transfer issues, did everything they could to sort my transfer, thank you for my first experience of Dubai and I'll be returning very soon.

and then this hotel had great staff, if i have to type about them it's not enough because they were great especially i want to thank couple of those who made us feel great and give us a warm feeling, Dende raj, Nikki and May cho, Vijo, Ali and the sweet Kauther, I will definitely come back because it was a great experience.

Amazing hotel, we were on a family trip and enjoyed it so much, staff helpful and food was tasty and a lot of variety with amazing selections of fruits 😍

I am just home from spending 8 days at this hotel, it was excellent from the staff , service and food .our room was great and huge , beds very comfortable, air conditioned, room service was amazing, nothing was a problem

THE FOOD
We were on a b&b basis & found the breakfast buffet very good.

The dinner buffet in GBR was great on most nights except one, the Mediterranean night.

Chef walked us around every food station and also said that they would cook bespoke meals for the girls if they didn’t want to eat from the buffet.

The restaurant had a wide selection for both breakfast and dinner, no need to go hungry!

The breakfast every morning was very good, so varied that you could have something different every day if you liked.

We also eat at the restaurant and the pool bar and both occasions were just perfect with a wonderful atmosphere and delicious food.

The best hotel I have stayed in.Every single staff member was so helpful and made me feel so welcome.Specifically I would like to mention Mark, Aamir and Ramil.The rooms are beautiful and so clean.The hotels breakfast and the dinner was one of my favorite parts of the hotel.the selection was catered for everyone.I had a very good time in the beautiful beach and specially in the lazy river.

Great place to stay, good location, staff cannot do enough for you, highly recommend, dukes bar nice and cozy for late night drink, excellent breakfast, rooms really nice
