We chose the all inclusive option, the food was amazing, with plenty to choose from at the breakfast and dinner buffets (Horizon).

but with a little encouragement and creative flair you can manage to extend this with the drink available on the all inclusive.

We as a family of 4 went for a 10 night all inclusive holiday to Amwaj Rotana, Dubai Jumeriah Beach resort towards end of July 2022.

Good tip, go for all inclusive dine around, a better deal you will not find.

even though we  were all inclusive we could only use the main restaurant for breakfast and Dinner or the Rossa, snack bar and main restaurant for lunch.

All inclusive was 100% worth it, branded spirits, cocktails and the wine was lovely.

The all inclusive package is well worth it, every meal we ate was of good quality and plenty of choice.

but soon as we mentioned it they offered room change and all inclusive upgrades which was great.

Came with my partner and stayed at the hotel for 13 nights on the basic all inclusive package.

We stayed under the basic all inclusive package - the food and drinks were great considering how much we paid for 15 days.

We came on the all inclusive package and would say this is a must.

but if you like alcoholic drinks it's worth paying for the all inclusive package which was branded premium drinks.

You can take free towel and to straight to the beach.

Perfect holiday hotel in JBR, very close to Jumeira beach and Marina .

Great location,  we went to the beach area a few times and the bars / nightclub there are good fun.

The beach is next door and the DMCC (Metro) is another short walk away meaning travel to the Burj Kalifq is easy and cheap to do (day rover £6).

Location is perfect, quick hop, skip and a jump and you are on the beach.

Hotel is in a brilliant position 2 minutes to the beach 10 minutes walk to the marina.

The view from the 24th floor was spectacular - from the Blue Waters island with the Eye Dubai observation wheel on the left - to the Palm Island on the right and the beach in between.

Very close to the beach and night life if wanted is on your door step!

The best thing was a good location near the beach, shops, restaurants and cafes of the Walk.

Walking distance to plenty of good restaurants and Dubai Marina Mall.

It is very easy to get around with a short walk to the metro station, which I would recommend using, going to various areas of Dubai such as the Dubai Mall (there is Dubai Marina Mall also close by).

It’s in a brilliant location close to the beach and Dubai Marina Mall.

The lifts used to take a while as there was only 3 in the whole hotel and they were always full.

The lifts can be a bit busy at peak times

The only downside is the lifts during peak morning time.

The other problem is the lifts, it wasn't uncommon to wait ten minutes for one and then the way they missed floors and stopped for no reason is nonsensical.

The only thing, that could be a little better, the elevators were overloaded in the morning.

but extremely busy, lifts are a nightmare at this time as there is only 3 of them, can be waiting up to half an hour before u get one to go down, and that’s not an exaggeration!

Had his colleague actually been in the elevator he would have been here now.

We were allowed to walk by the reception and take the elevator up without any problem.

The team at the first floor breakfast restaurant was very helpful , But the lifts were very slow .. the worst part about the hotel.

Lifts after wait 15-20mins for ever time and regularly braking down

Service around pool VERY SLOW one waiter for over 50 guests often waiting 40 min

Difficult to get sun loungers and pool inadequate for size of hotel 

Food cold and VERY REPETITIVE AWFUL

Lunch menu no healthy choice just burger and pizza

Rude and ignorant front desk no customer care skills what so ever

Very poor value for money we spent £5800 dirham 28134.00  for two people very disappointed .

Elevators, one of the three elevators was breakdown , we had to wait for more than 15 minutes , then we move using the emergency stair case from 12th floor to 1st floor carrying my child and the some personal staff

The three lifts are slow and not enough during peak times and when one fails, like it did yesterday, be ready for a long wait!

Straight away it became apparent that the lift will be causing issues as it took a while for a lift to arrive.

The negatives:  the lifts are a nightmare, waiting for an eternity for one not to pass you by

Every construction person knows that the maximum time calculation for lifts is 28 seconds not 28 minutes.

but the main issues every visitor should know are:
• bad smell of mold and humidity in the rooms (we changed 2, so it wasn’t just a problem with the first one we got)
• 3 extra small lift with the capacity of max 13 persons for 25 floors 
• 80% guests that are not wearing masks and anyone warns them 
• average food

There’s a bus shuttle to the marina mall.

Pier7 has a lot to offer which is a short (very warm) walk of about 20 minutes along the marina.

Our suite ‘1916’ had commanding sea-views overlooking the Marina, the big wheel ‘Ain Dubai’ , Palm Jumeirah and Bluewaters Island and the suite was kept immaculate by Nasir who always had a smile and wanted to do more to make us feel right at home!

The yacht cruise was the same price per person and there is a buffet and lots of entertainment was definitely worth it.

The hotel itself is in a fantastic location at JBR and a very short walk to the marina.

You will not be disappointed if you love a centrally based hotel, near the beach, shops, marina, Ain Dubai and the Jumeirah Palm, it's perfect for all those things.

Good with this hotel:

-good location near to the beach and Marina area, metro, a lot of fun things to do with kids where you can walk to
-nice staff, good food and drinks, clean

Not so good:

-Children's pool closed 
-the sun starts to shine after 12pm at the hotel pool area.

Away from the hustle and bustle of the Marina.

Its close to the Marina and you can walk to so many places grom the hotel.

Location is ideal for walks, beach and good food and very close to the marina which is beautiful!

The Dubai Marina and The Walk are probably the only area in Dubai where one can do everything by walking.

Excellent hotel, right on near the walk, dubai marina, and the beach.

better to get a nice breakfast in Marina walk , Plenty of outlets around  .

I would highly recommend to everyone, short stroll to the shops, JBR beach and Dubai Marina.

I have spent all day so far waiting to be moved as I have plans this evening and do not want to unpack in one room to re pack in another room.

Even with health problems you only had to wait a few minutes and then the help went directly to our room.

We went around the pool a few times and if there wasn’t a sunbed they took your name and sorted you one as soon as they could and gave you a shout in the pool or pool bar wherever you are we never waited longer than 15 minutes.

Finally checking out, they let you wait for no reason, if you don’t ask them why you’re waiting, definitely they will make you miss your flight.

I don't think he realised how long we had been waiting.

You should prepare yourself for a long wait at breakfast time: one morning we waited lift for 15 minutes.

You are waiting for cleanyour room hours and hours. .

The wait for the lifts was so painful wasted one hour each day waiting for lifts.

We were given breakfast as we waited for our room to be ready, which was at about 1pm.

There are only 3 lifts to service 25 floors and we regularly waited 20 minutes for a lift.

Nevertheless , 3 lisfts exists only , and they are so slow , it is common to wait 3 to 5 min  for them , and when they arrive sometimes they are full , so you wait again , this is is very frustrating .

Only 3 lift's you could be waiting a considerable amount of time trying to move around.

However the pool area was not equipped with enough long chair so that we sometimes had to wait for approx. 20min.

The reason for giving 4 stars rather than 5, is that the hotel is rather expensive for the standard of rooms, the breakfast is a little underwhelming and you can wait a long time for the lifts.

Unfortunately when entering our room it turned out that he was not ready yet, the baby cots were missing and the door of our double suite room was locked after we were waiting, meanwhile 1 hour later housekeeping came with the cots.

however no Birthday message or card ( not talking about small cakes as most of 5* hotels doing ) for my husband BD .. we decided do not extend our stay and booked another hotel ..  Got charged 250 Dhs for late check out ( 4 p.m).. we’re waiting bellboy to help with suitcases 20 min . .

Absolutely superb, 3 bedroom apartment was fantastic, spacious and amazing view.

Room is very spacious (2 bedroom apartment) and housekeeping are great.

I was fortunate (as a Diamond member) to be upgraded to the hotel's Loft suites on the 42nd floor.

We booked a 2 bedroom apartment for 4 of us.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment, which was really beautiful and clean.

We reserved a 2 bedroom apartment and the showers/tub literally are about 2 ft high off the ground with no hand rails.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment and I was pleasantly surprised with the space.

This time around we booked a 3 bedroom apartment.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment on a half board basis.

We rented a 3 bedroom apartment where by each room had a great view and all the necessary amenities.

We had two bedroom apartment with half board.

We are a family od 4 and the two bedrooms apartment was just perfect including the view!

We booked for a month and we have been here for 12  days now absolutely fantastic we have a two bedroom apartment and we can't fault it 3 bathrooms 3 tv dvd ect aircon great small balcony we are in room 2204 a great view.

This hotel was fantastic, we had a two bedroom apartment with sea views, lots of space for everyone, good kitchen area, good bathrooms.

Loved the three bedroom apartment, spacious and classy.

We traveled with three kids (6,3 and 4 months) and stayed at the 2 bedroom apartment.

Staff was good, the one bedroom apartments were spacious, and excellent beachfront location.

The Hilton has various apartments available eg two bedroom,three bedroom and four bedroom.

Swimming pool was usually quiet which helped with our 1 year old, beach clean and lots of sun beds.

The location of the hotel is perfect, right on the beach and perfectly located on JBR walk.

Rooms, beach, hotel, everything is really nice.

Great location, easy access to the beach and lots of places to eat nearby.

This Hotel is located right in the centre of the JBR (Jumeirah Beach Resort) and our room provided a great view of the Dubai Ferris wheel and the beach walk below.

Excellent facilities with direct beach access, wonderful swimming pool, number of restaurants at the hotel and many more within a short walking distance.

Overall I would visit again , prefect location , near shops , beach and restaurant.

The Hilton's swimming pool is very well access to the beach very easy and privatized.

The  breakfast we love so much, the beach view, the pool side are just so beautiful.

Lovely and clean with good air conditioning ideally situated slap bang in the middle of Jumeirah beach resort.

The Dubai marina mall is nice, worth going.

In overall this hotel is not bad, I will start with positive things:
1.Location - very good, as at the middle of promenade, so all around you have coffee, bakery, restaurants, bistros, Dubai Marina mall 15 min walk -

I loved the fact that the hotel was in walking distance from the Dubai Marina Mall, restaurants, and movie theater.

Lifts are an absolute nightmare, you have to wait for 10 minutes sometimes only to be greeted by a full lift.

The only thing that was an issue is the old lifts, and some rooms our outdated,

The only thing preventing a five star rating were the lifts.

The lifts are a big issue as you spend much of your day either waiting for a lift or travelling the whole hotel in one.

Things you may want to consider:

Lifts can be frustrating at times as it can sometimes take long

On the half board A La Carte menu - the Bailey's brownie contains alcohol which was checked by member of staff

As others have said, the elevators are always busy and we had to go to the restaurant (Lower Plaza) twice by stairs (from the 7th floor).

Minor issue: due to 43 floors, you’ll always have to wait for an elevator.

The number of lifts in just unacceptable for the number of rooms and then 1 was out of service so we had to wait ages for a lift to come.

The only problem we faced is the availability of the elevators in Hilton Dubai the walk, we have to wait to get in the elevator otherwise we were very happy.

As other reviewers have noted, the elevator wait times can be problematic.

The only downside (a minor point only) was the elevators- spaced out in different sections of the hotel and quite full at times,

I would have rated 5* if the lifts were better, they were very slow and there was no real option to use stairs.

One small issue, elevator wait times could be pretty long.

button doesn’t work in the lift and you have to wait long to get in a lift .

No limitation stated for lift ending up with packed crowd or taking the stairs for 40 floors…Not my preferred choice for staying in Dubaï.

A couple of the lifts were going a bit funny with not stopping at the floor we wanted and going back the other way

The elevator is a little confusing at the first time,

Granted the hotel is a little dated and the elevators could be faster

I counted 6 elevators, with an average wait-time of 4-5 mins per elevator.

Very nice executive lounge.

And Executive lounge is a must, access to drinks and food 7am-10pm!

Staff in executive lounge were fantastic.

The executive lounge offers great breakfast and also the staff there is very friendly.

Executive lounge lived upto the expectations, great value for money.

Lovely staff, particulary in the executive lounge.

The team in the Executive Lounge were absolutely wonderful and helpful.

The staff could not have been more gracious throughout the hotel, from reception, to service to cleaning staff to the executive lounge hosts and security.

The executive lounge was staffed by such elegant, efficient and helpful people especially Brenda and Donna.

The location of the hotel is perfect, being about midway along JBR, and you can use the beach and all the other facilities (except the Executive Lounge) at the Hilton resort.

The two pool areas are very chill and cool in the hot days of Dubai, and the private beach is splendid.

Very close to the metro, marina, taxis outside facility all the time and has a private beach, fitness center that adheres to Covid-19 protocols.

Room is huge, you can always access to the private beach and pool of the Hilton hotel next door.

Made good use of the private beach at Hilton Dubai Jumeirah Resort straight across road .

Hotel with direct access to a private beach  and in the center of all the activities  in the walk.

You can enjoy the services of private beach.

They are incredibly slow and don’t seem to follow any logic.

Wavebreaker - the majority of staff here are fairly slow.

Negative points, lifts are extremely slow, took the stairs several times, traffic noise until gone 2 am in the morning very loud, was first put in a room with a very bad view of the under side of a basket ball court, changed next day thankfully.
