Always greeted us with a smile and were always there to assist us with whatever we needed - whether it was to make dinner reservations, provide us with an extra blanket for cooler nights, or provide us with some after sun gel when we got a little too toasty in the sun one day.

The bathroom consisted of dual sinks, WC and luxury walk-in rainfall shower.

The room was lovely, very spacious and the shower was great.

The room was large and comfortable, and the outdoor shower was fun.

We stayed in a terrace suite with a jacuzzi and save for some wear and tear and the hot tub leaking all over the floor, it was nice.

), with a cute mini bar and l’occtane products in the shower.

Our room was lovely, the bed was super comfortable, and while I didn’t totally love the bathroom set up, we got used to it, and it was fine.

The TRS Yucatan is a serene (jungle-like) resort that offers some amazing amenities and certainly some of the best service you can imagine.

The attention to detail in the decor, coupled with modern amenities, created a welcoming atmosphere.

If you have never stayed at TRS Yucatan, you will be surprised at all the mirrors.

There is even a trolley with sun lotion if you run out!

Amenities are great with Butler Service, Infinity pool, pool bars, Helios restaurant, entertainment, poolside daily food service, cabana workers and the breath taking of the environment.

If you’re looking for five-star amenities, dining, accommodations, pools, and beaches.

Each building has its own concierge/butler who help with any aspect of your stay, from booking restaurants to sourcing sun lotion if you run out, nothing is too much trouble.

Rooms - we stayed in a suite (1630 building 60) and it was roomy and comfortable with great amenities,  The fridge and snacks were re-stocked daily and the staff learned our preferences very quickly.

True unbelievable service which I have not seen anywhere and I have stayed everywhere from Mauritius to Dubai.

We stayed at this wonderful hotel for my son's 21st birthday, it was a choice of mexico or Dubai and I'm so glad we stayed here.

We've travelled to the Maldives, Dubai , America, Europe, so after reading all the brilliant reviews on here I was really hoping for something outstanding.

It was absolutely a wonderful vacation for us!

Just returned from a fabulous holiday at TRS Yucatan.

I have never been on such a beautiful, relaxing vacation!

We also would like to highly commend Martha at Helios who was friendly , accommodating , and looked after us throughout our entire holiday.

A daytrip to the maya ruins in Tulum, a snorkel adventure with sea turtles, a swim in a cenote followed with an authentic mexican dinner in a local restaurant of the beaten path, made our mini vacation complete.

Absolutely 100 percent best vacation I have ever experienced.

After two great trips to TRS Coral resort including our wedding back in February 2023 we decided to give TRS Yucatan a try on a long weekend, pre-holiday getaway and it did not disappoint!!!

Luckily, there was a nice couple that had a private company they booked outside of the hotel for airport transport that heard what was going on and offered us to get a ride with them if the company they were with allowed - the company did

We had private reformer Pilates classes with the resorts trainer, Elizabeth, every morning (which are included at no extra charge!).

There is a private TRS section with a bar and food and the ocean is amazing with such soft sand!

Next to our private pool, on the beach, along the winding pathway, in the pretty water feature.

We loved sitting outside by the private pool and using the pool since we went during one of the hottest, humid months of the year there.

Our suite with a large private infinity pool was spectacular and allowed us to seclude ourselves and enjoy some time together each day.

It is surrounded by jungle and felt very private.

We used the jacuzzi a few times, it worked great, was quiet and felt private.

but if I went back in the summer I would get the private pool.

Wonderful breakfasts at Capricho every morning, followed by relaxations at the tidal pool or private TRS beach drinking exotic elixers recharged our batteries.

We also utilized our private pool which had lovely shade on the day we couldn’t find anything.

There is a private TRS beach area about a fifteen minute walk from the TRS main area.

but quite private, and was pleasant at the end of the day.

Whilst there we booked a private romantic dinner at the Ixmucane Grand Cenote which was so lovely.

I feel this one was north worth it than the romance buglalo that was a “upgrade” we were right next to the infinity pool and had a private pool to ourselves.

Very knowledgable, kept to a good schedule and readjusted the trip so we visited the cenote first so we could have a private swim!

If you need to take a shower before your room is ready, they have a very clean little private shower space for men and women (see attached photo).

but for the cost, I would expect more than 2 restaurants that stay open.

Maria worked at the bar by the infinity pool grill and she made the best cocktails and drinks and was so nice to us.

Gorgeous grounds, excellent food options.

The New Year eve special dinner was great could use a little more elaborate menu.

We went to Tentazione (Italian dinner) and the food was great.

The French, Italian and Argentenian restaurants were also great.

The food in some of the restaurants  can be inconsistent

He másé great suggestions - this is how we tried one of our best desserts ever (verrine de coco. ).

Helios: The breakfast / brunch buffet spread was incredible.

The food in every restaurant was great and I have never experienced service like this before.

Furthermore, the culinary experience, while generally satisfactory, could benefit from a broader variety of options in Chic Cabaret Restaurant.

We tried all restaurants and as per usual, the service and the staff were great.

The moonlight dinner, (once a month at full moon) was fantastic, best dinner we had.

He made moments at the pool entertaining with his singing and dancing when he brought our drinks.

The Chic show is a must and also the new restaurant/show Bravo!

Chic Caberet is a “do not miss” evening experience!

and a superb evening of music, dancing and entertainment.

The New Year's Party was the best with music, dancing, fireworks and lots of drinks.

wonderful place, the staff, the facilities, the food and entertainment were all excellent.

The entertainment staff, Marfa, Emmy etc and incredible!

The Chic Cabaret show is an absolute must!

butlers, entertainment instructors, the CHIC dancers, hostesses, the gardeners, the cart drivers, baggage gentlemen, the cleaners, towel boys, bartenders, chefs and wait staff.

The grounds are stunning and love that they make it home for the wildlife too

Entertainment 
Chic Cabaret is great to try for the evening and the bingo was very fun.

The POP entertainment team were great around the infinity pool.

We had dinner at Tetrazione, La Boheme (fondue & French Onion soup, oh my), Chic Cabaret (amazing talent), El Gaucho, Helios (2x) and Sumptuori and enjoyed every meal we had.

Entertainment: The hotel's entertainment options were diverse and engaging.

However, the show was amazing and very bright and spectacular.

The restaurants we selected for dinners were El Dorado (Steakhouse), La Adelita (Mexican), Helios (Mediterranean), Portofino (Italian), and Chic Cabaret (Mixed Menu - 7 Course Meal all while watching a great entertaining evening of dance and music) - all of which were fantastic.

however they do smell damp and musty, as does the bedding.

As much as we tried to get rid of the smell, it persisted throughout our stay.

All of our clothes and room smell like mildew.

but smelled like mildew for our entire stay.

The smell was overpowering and our clothes were constantly wet.

The Room-
We stayed in block 69 it did have a musty smell about it, not sure what it is it did not seem to go either whilst we were there, our room had the jacuzzi on the balcony

As it is in most humid places, the pillows and sheets smelled moldy/sour.

The room had a terrible smell and we experienced a power outage twice!

The rooms with the jacuzzi do not have a damp (I use that word lightly no rooms has a bad smell) smell at all they are probably the better condition of the rooms especially top floor the room cleaning and turn down was always perfect .

Would I class it as a 5* hotel definitely not more like 3.5 at a push, room was musty and damp and really smelt, everything looked a bit tired, food was hit and miss, some restaurants were better than others, wine was awful unless you pay more for better wine.

Your basket will consist of stale bread and cold unseasoned steak slices.

This room had no issues with smells or allergy triggers,

Great experience would go agian ,but I wouldn't get the pool suite next time due to the fowl smell coming from the standing water by our room and the cart guys that pick you up if you weren't from their hotel like Colonial they wouldn't take anywhere I would have to wait for an TRS buggy.

The only downfall was a strong smell of drains in our room and the attitude of a male receptionist at Zentropia…we were hardly ever in the room so decided not to complain and for the receptionist…hmm let’s just assume he had a bad day.

People were smoking at the sun loungers and even in the pool despite there being a non smoking policy.

Also, some stains on the toilet and molds in shower room

They advertise the wish list but it was something we never got which was disappointing, daily we had to ask for fridge to be topped up 
Overview the hotel it's nice but  felt there was alot of inconsistencies.

We were not expecting to be choking on cigarette smoke in a country where it is apparently illegal to smoke except in designated areas.

We were on honeymoon so it was about relaxing, last two days was slightly impacted  by next door smoking drugs on the balcony & partying all night.

The Spa is amazing and so are the pools and the beach.

Language barrier (expected based on non-English-speaking location/culture), inconsistent service quality and cleanliness of the spa were the downsides

This year  I needed a longer more intense massage and Victor did an amazing job for me at the spa.

We had massages at the spa and it was great.

The spa was nice, and we enjoyed massages and the hydrotherapy experience.

We also used the Spa where my wife had a massage and we both used the hydrotherapy circuit, this is a pleasant place to spend the afternoon to relax with a very chilled atmosphere

Spa and facilities were the state of the art.

We got appointments for two massage sessions which were very communicative and accommodating.

Zentopia, the resorts spa and gym were perfect and had everything we needed in terms of weights and cardio equipment.

Other
We enjoyed a couples massage, make sure you go early to enjoy the rest of the facilities and the juice bar.

Spa:  We adored the Zentropia Spa and pool.

The Zentropia spa was a very tranquil and relaxing experience from start to finish.

All three of us had massages at Zentropia, which where nice,

Friendly service from all the staff, from Uziel at check in, check out to the constant attention of our Butlers Antonio, Daniel and Miguel, our waiter Fernando at El Gaucho and rest of the wait staff, pool staff, spa staff, drivers, bartender's and housekeepers.

I was amazed by how many of the staff remembered me.

The entire staff is so kind and accommodating.

We’ve traveled all over the world and have never had a more considerate attentive and kind staff ready to help us in every way.

We had Victor as our server and he was so kind and happy.

The staff at TRS Yucatan were so friendly - whether it be the serving staff, housekeeping or maintenance - it didn’t matter who they were, when they walked by they always had a smile on their face and said hello.

Staff basically did everything they could to say yes to every request.

Susana, our concierge, was a delight and went over and above to help make our experience amazing - they did a special birthday room for my special day too!

but they were very pushy, so much so that we declined wine towards the end.

This has a great fitness centre and food was excellent for an all-inclusive.

Lastly, eventhough  this is an all inclusive resort the workers DEFINITELY be fishing for those tips.

It was my first time in Cancún and at an all inclusive.

This was our first all-inclusive and the experience was a 10 out of 10.

Cons: On top ofl the HIGH all-inclusive fee, you must shell out more $ for prime cabanas or lounge chairs with umbrellas at pool and on beach.

First time traveling internationally, as well as staying at an all inclusive resort.

A truly great experience at the best AI property we have ever stayed in.

The weather has been great, the service is top-notch, the food is the best that we have had in any all-inclusive or regular hotel.

The all inclusive is great and includes loads of cocktails and sparkling wine.

It is all inclusive and the main food option is Spices, the large buffet-style restaurant.

This time around my sister and I tried the Chef’s Plate which is a curated 6 course meal and isn’t part of the all-inclusive package.

The food is above average for an all inclusive hotels and the entertainment is the best thing.

Just the best all inclusive resort I have been in decades!!

It is the most amazing all inclusive experience you will ever have!

And the food was tasty for an all inclusive resort.

While there are upgraded dinner options, spa services and cabanas available, they are not high pressure sales.

The rooms are very nice with spacious floor plan, large bathroom, etc.

The hotel and grounds were kept impeccably clean and the amenities, eg: fitness center and classes and the spa were the icing on the cake.

They also offered nightly entertainment and a great beach with amenities.

A issue my wife had with the room was there's a big mirror attached to a locked door facing directly at the bed.

This was great since I didn't want to sometimes put on shorts or a robe to get the food.

Elisa & Williams are great massage therapists & considerate of the pressure feedback received.

It was very helpful to use the downstairs bathroom at the beach and not having to worry about remembering your key for everything.

I recommend Yanira and Jessica for deep tissue massages.

They all also have a 2 person jacuzzi bath facing the ocean which is amazing.

TOP Highlights: the cleanliness of the entire Resort, the beachfront layout with the cabanas and long chairs, so much space,  the food quality and selection in all 5 restaurants, the spa, trendy design and relaxing, the  fitness program and yoga class, all amenities and commun areas were so upscale, the rooms design and  a very creative Entertainment program.

The check-in process was efficient and welcoming, and our accommodation featured a jacuzzi, adding to the overall enjoyment of our stay.

The hotel was super clean and had all the amenities required the all inclusiveness of the hotel really makes the experience incredible when all food and drinks are free u can’t go wrong.

We have travelled many places, lived in Dubai and we have stayed in a number of amazing hotels

I insisted that we should not be charged and reluctantly they 'waived' the additional fee for us.

Which tells me they're probably not getting paid what they deserve.

They don’t provide them anymore and charge $12 USD for a metal straw.

The spa - They were running a promotion to get an 80 minute massage at the price for a 50 minute so I took advantage of it plus they added on Hydrotherapy treatment.

As I explained to him a bunch of people were upset they couldn’t sit in or by the pool unless they paid $80 for a cabana each day (which came with 2 loungers in the pool) As Mr.Rojas explained to me this money grab was put in place by previous management

There is also entertainment every day and night, with a range of shows and classes at no extra cost.

The only downsides of our stay were the terrible sales pitch on check in, super misleading and time wasting. He promised a three minute chat to provide us our welcome package, turned into a 15 minute guilt trip to sign up for a 90 minute sales pitch saying "he wouldn't get paid if we didn't attend."

The premium wine was a tab on the expensive side,

And far too many hidden fees, especially for things which should have been included (ex: a chair by the pool or on the beach, a seat to watch the nightly entertainment , etc. ).

Once those are taken, you either have to pay for a chair or cabana, or find a place to store your stuff.

but not if I could find something close to price.

He told me if I paid him I could sit there.

Little if any consideration for the guests unless you want to pay extra as in the seating around the pool and at the beach.

This is additional cost and is not cheap.

though it's an all inclusive, there are plenty of things they want you to pay an extra charge for so just stick to the normal menus and you'll be fine!

but the only way you could get a poolside chair is if you pay money for a cabana.

Consistent high quality food and beverage choices, friendly professional staff who are eager to assist you and make the most of your stay.

The hibachi dinner is fun and books up quickly.

The food was excellent and I’d recommend trying the Chefs Plate.

We did the dinner on the beach and it was amazing.

the hotel is beautiful, restaurants amazing, pool incredible and beach breathtaking.

We always enjoyed the buffet in Spice, given our food limitations.

The romantic beach dinner was a dream come true – beautifully organized and set against the breathtaking backdrop of the property.
