more than once, the Aran Island tour change, the Doolin Cave tour.

Sea View House is an ideal location to tour The Burren and Doolin Cave - both activities are fantastic and well worth the expenditure of time.

The Cliffs of Moher, Aran Islands, Doolin Cave, and climbing Mullaghmore Mountain were all amazing things to do.

We spent the rest of the day going into all of the little shops in Doolin, visited the Doolin Cave and then had a great dinner at Gus O'Connor's Pub.

Overall amazing inn to stay while visiting the Cliffs of Moher (10 minute drive), the Burden and Doolin Cave.

Even traveling back to Dublin from Doolin, we took the owners advice for our final day itinerary (visit Doolin Cave, Ailish Cave, and have a late lunch in Galway to be back in time for dinner in Dublin while missing all the traffic) and they were right and their advice made our last day just as memorable as the first!

Very easy drive to the Cliffs and Doolin Cave.

One was to visit Doolin Cave, only recently was it opened up to the public and made for a good trip to see the huge stalagtite hanging from the roof of the underground cave.

Seaview has it all--easy walking distance to all 4 pubs in town, to shopping, to the seacoast, to an ancient Norman castle, to the bus taking you to the spectacular Doolin Cave, to Internet access. .

The bed was so comfy, the room was spotless and the overall feel and vibe of the house was perfect!

Our room was spotlessly  clean and cosy with spectacular views of the gorgeous village below.

The driveway is rather steep, and there are enough stairs in the house to pose a possible challenge to the older visitor.

The only challenge as someone mentioned was the stairs,

There are windy, somewhat narrow stairs that have to be climbed to get to the front door.

There were more stairs inside and we were told to order our breakfast in advance the night before.

The driveway and stairs are a bit steep if anyone has this as as issue.

Although not a problem for us, the hill and stairs may pose a problem for some.

We were traveling with parents in their 70's and they did struggle somewhat with the steep stairs leading up to the front door.

The room we were given was up the stairs in the left back corner.

The only thing lacking were tea and coffee making facilities in the bedrooms as there were none in the lounge for free use and the really step and awkward stairs to the front door

Yes, you have to be able to climb a few steep stairs to get to the front door.

This was an inconvenience, as the stairs to the visitors entrance is around the house and up a long, daunting flight of steep stairs.

Daire organised all our sightseeing for us and advice on locality.

We also enjoyed a chat with the owners, Darra and Niall, who then gave us a suggested route home to make the most of the last of the trip!

On arrival we were greeted with our names on the board, Niall gave us a tour of the facilities.

Thank you Darra and Niall for all the kind help, thus we manage to book a boat tour to Inis Oirr and Cliff of Moher in the very last minute, before heading to Galway.

but offer concierge-like services just in chatting, for tours, sightseeing, dining, and all the details you need!

Niall suggested we take the coastal route on our way to Galway.

We found the Sea View House to be the perfect base for walking the Cliffs of Mohrer (the guided tour that leaves from below the house is a must), taking a day trip to the Arran Islands (Darra steered us well in suggesting a visit to the smallest of the islands and a horse-drawn carriage tour), listening to some good traditional music and stories (the House of Music evening as arranged by Darra was a highlight), and traveling through the Burren (with the Burren Perfumery as a surprising highlight).

There are endless cycling routes and hiking trails in the area.

We especially enjoyed our horse carriage tour of one of the Aran Islands with Michael and his horse Murphy (recommended by Darra); a non touristy experience which is what we wanted.

We received excellent recommendations from Niall of where to tour and eat and loved every suggestion made - we were sent off the beaten path and had an affordable meal at a Michelin star restaurant, how could it not be amazing!

Make sure you take the guided tour of the cliffs with Pat Sweeney - it was the highlight of our visit to Doolin.

Another bonus is that you can meet Pat Sweeney for a guided tour of the cliffs along a 5 mile hike to the visitor center and so much better.

We had planned on going to the Cliffs of Moher visitor center and/or doing a boat tour of Cliffs.

We were doing a tour all around Ireland and can honestly say that Doolin was our favourite place and the Sea View was perfect.

She was able to give us a run down of the town, restaurants, events, music and even the types and sizes of boats that run tours to the islands and cliffs.

So on her advice we took Pat Sweeney’s Cliff of Moher walk, took a boat to one of the Aran Islands followed by a tour of the Cliffs of Moher from the water side, went to Music House and heard a great concert, and went to the sheep dog demo and the Burrens.

We went on the walking tour of the Cliffs of Moher with Pat (highly recommend) and the meeting place for the tour is right across the street from Sea View House.

They were so helpful in suggesting tours and places to visit and eat.

Additionally, I believe every morning at 10am Pat Sweeney offers an up close and personal tour of the Cliffs of Moher.

From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were so welcome and at home with our very friendly reception by Kate.

Susan offered a drink upon check-in, and again the second afternoon, both in the beautiful garden, with beautiful views.

When we arrived we were warmly greeted and enjoyed a drink on Susan's lovely patio.

When she offered us a beer upon our arrival we knew we were in the right place.

From her personal attention to our reservation, to keeping the light on for us for our late arrival, to our final good byes the next morning, she was wonderful.

Even before we arrived, Susan made booking a breeze, and gave us excellent recommendations for our stay.

Daly's House was unbelievably hospitable and accommodating from the minute we arrived to the minute we left.

From the moment we first spoke on the phone- a good 6 months before our arrival --to the moment we walked out the door waving goodbye our experience was exceptional.

Even before we arrived, Susan gave us lots of tips by email about activities in and around Doolin.

From the moment we connected via phone before our arrival to the minute we returned back to the States, she made us feel at home -- answering any questions, helping us set up our trip to the Aran Islands, giving us local tips & insights, and sharing her own wonderful stories.

Her B&B is beautiful, comfortable, and the gardens are breathtaking.

Why - the house is lovely,  bedrooms very comfortable, breakfast perfect, the garden beautiful and a five minute walk to the pubs and stores in Doolin.

The service was fantastic (offered a drink in the garden on arrival) and breakfast was top class.

My  3 friends and i stayed at Dayls B&B in Doolin.. We were greeted by a very friendly Susan who made us at home immediately and treated us to a luvly drink in her amazing gardens.

She offered us an afternoon drink if we were there and when the weather was nice it was great to sit out in her beautiful garden to enjoy it.

The rooms were spotless, there were voltage converters in the rooms, breakfast was wonderful with many options and even soy milk for the homemade granola (I’m vegan).

The B&B itself is beautiful, the room immaculate, the grounds breathtaking.

The breakfasts were delicious, the property was beautiful, and our room was clean and cozy with a smart TV to enjoy at the end of the day.

Her excellent suggestion to go to Liscannor to see the Cliffs of Moher was a perfect way to avoid the crowds and almost be alone with the beautiful entire view of them.

Despite overlooking the countryside, the walk to Gus O’Connor’s and the Ivy Cottage restaurant was 3-4 minutes.

Her place is situated in a beautiful spot with views of the Cliffs of Moher (from my parents bedroom no less!).

A good pub nearby, the sea , and great walks to the cliffs.

The room was comfortable with a very peaceful view.

Morans on the Weir, Hazel Mountain Chocolate, and several of the pubs in Galway that she had listed.

Also, it’s so close to a trail with breathtaking views leading to the Cliffs of Moher.

My husband and I had a view of the Cliffs of Moher.

Very quick walking distance to shops and dining, and beautiful views of the Cliffs of Moher and surrounding area.

It was a 20 minute walk to the base of the cliffs.The rooms (we had 3 rooms for five people) were clean and comfortable and each one had breath taking views of the local countryside. Susan, the proprietor, made sure we were well fed (the Irish breakfast was amazing!)

As a big fan of pizza I’m often left disappointed in other restaurants with the end product being too cheesy, too doughy or too greasy.

When breakfast came it was freezing and was the wrong order.

Even when I blew a circuit breaker and plunged my entire room into complete darkness at 5:30 am, Adam was at my door within the 2 minutes promised and there was not a word about “what the ‘eck are you doing blowing circuit breakers – go to sleep”.

The house(7) was freezing on arrival in December(Would not harm to put the heating on for an hour or so)

Kitchen chairs also stained.

Having to go from warm to freezing cold temperatures several times a day.

The house we were allocated had a toilet seat on the floor, damage to kitchen units and extractor fan cover and broken blinds on the windows.

Thermostat didn't seem to change the room temperature which was too warm for me.

Maybe the hotel should do more to eliminate this over powering smell  by proper ventilation in cooking area  etc.

The beds have one duvet, no upper sheet, so you are either roasting or freezing.

The people  working at the desk also do not know how the heating system works.

A few heaters wouldn't go amiss and would be essential in the colder months.

but was freezing and raining when we were here so drove our car the few minutes.

After returning to the USA we discovered that the PJs we purchased at the Shaggy Sheep were defective.

Heating had been turned on and efforts to heat the building had been made,

It had a water heater for tea and coffee; no fridge and for some reason the housekeeper never seemed to leave enough towels.

Disadvantages were no AC (although the room blew out quickly with the windows open wide) and the the WiFi signal did not reach even half way down the hallway and I had to sit in the lobby to do my browsing--with a mohito next to me.

It was freezing when we arrived at the hotel having just walked the Cliffs of Moher.

There is a restaurant at the other end of the shop lot with mediocre food (I may be a bit biased here since I am not a huge fan of Irish food to begin with).

Fitz pub is attached to hotel and a lovely place for live music.

All the staff were so welcoming and friendly, the hotel decor is quirky and cool, food was great, and the bar had a fun atmosphere with live music.

The pub is class , cosy and loads of craic with trad music .

A lot of the planning is done for you as it's part of the package such as the decor (by Rí Weddings who is phenomenal), wedding cake and DJ.

We attended a lovely wedding here this week and everything was such a wonderful occasion from the moment we arrived, the warm welcome from Emily and indeed all the staff here could not have been more pleasant and anxious to make it a great experience - the food the music and the general ambience was really lovely.

We went into the bar in the same building after for great music and songs.

Once finished Nianh found us a table across from the fire and we had some drinks listening to the live music.

The music recommended by Paul last minute was great and a big hit with our guests!

The team created a flawless day for us - the food, the music, the decor.

The hotel really comes alive at night with music in the bar and we were treated to a live concert in the garden which was fab
Breakfast is 5 star and the best out of any of the hotels we stayed on our trip and, food in general was excellent.

However on a positive note the pizzas and quality of music in the garden that night were excellent.

The food in the restaurant was delicious and on one of the evenings we had our meal outdoors in the courtyard while listening to live music which was lovely.

It was a lovely sunny evening and we availed of a table in the garden where we listened to the live music.

We sat in the garden both nights until 11pm listening to the music, loved Jimmy Mac!

went to Fitz's bar last night for dinner and what can I say, Wow.

Sissel that works in the bar and restaurant was one of the nicest staff we have met in years and Chef Luans food was outstanding and he was so pleasant to speak to.

The hotel also has food in the bar and it has a pizza area outside

While waiting a lovely Carla got us drinks from the café and even went into the bar to get some fresh draft beer.

The whole atmosphere and layout of the hotel, outdoor areas, bar restaurant etc was fabulous.

We ate in the restaurant beside the bar and the food was disappointing.

We ate in the bar as well and the food was excellent and I have to give a shout out to Serenia and Paul in the bar both of whom went out of their way to look after us and make us feel so welcome.

We ate in Fitz's bar for dinner and despite the covid restrictions there was still a nice buzz about the place.

Stayed for 1 night wish it was more the hotel has a the most amazing beer garden bar and food loved our stay everything you need for you stay in the one spot.

We ate in the bar on the Friday night and the food was lovely.

The staff, food and facilities were consistent as ever and with confidence we were eased back into post lockdown holidays.Most of all I commend the restaurant and bar staff who visibly sanitised their hands numerous times in the hour and a half we dined one evening .

We came down over night had dinner in the bar, beautiful dinner while we where listening to trad music .

We ate in Fitz”s bar and the food was beautiful and great value.

We also ate in Fitz's bar the food was amazing along with the ambiance.

All staff are super friendly and helpful, room is very large and comfortable and the bar food lunch & dinner was top notch!

Monday nights they host a local band in the restaurant / bar.

The food in the restaurant, cafe, bar and room service are all absolutely amazing.

The food both at the wedding and in the bar was tasty and filling.

Doolin is known for its Irish music and Hotel Doolin didn’t disappoint with its bars and restaurant offerings.

The service was excellent and the rooms were spotless.

The rooms and the houses were spotless and the food was second to none.

The rooms are very clean & the beds very comfy, even the toiletries smell fantastic.

Our room was spotless well laid out and beautifully decorated, the breakfast in hotel was absolutely ginormous and very tasty, Wi-fi in hotel is good, all the staff were very friendly and efficient.
