From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were so welcome and at home with our very friendly reception by Kate.

Susan offered a drink upon check-in, and again the second afternoon, both in the beautiful garden, with beautiful views.

When we arrived we were warmly greeted and enjoyed a drink on Susan's lovely patio.

When she offered us a beer upon our arrival we knew we were in the right place.

From her personal attention to our reservation, to keeping the light on for us for our late arrival, to our final good byes the next morning, she was wonderful.

Even before we arrived, Susan made booking a breeze, and gave us excellent recommendations for our stay.

Daly's House was unbelievably hospitable and accommodating from the minute we arrived to the minute we left.

From the moment we first spoke on the phone- a good 6 months before our arrival --to the moment we walked out the door waving goodbye our experience was exceptional.

Even before we arrived, Susan gave us lots of tips by email about activities in and around Doolin.

From the moment we connected via phone before our arrival to the minute we returned back to the States, she made us feel at home -- answering any questions, helping us set up our trip to the Aran Islands, giving us local tips & insights, and sharing her own wonderful stories.

She met us when we arrived and served us a welcome cocktail while she talked to us about Doolin and her family's history there.

Susan knew our names within minutes of our arrival, greeted us with a champagne toast and made us feel like family.

She was able to help us arrange transportation, even giving us a quick lift in the charming town before her newest guests arrived.

My husband and I were renewing our vows in Ireland and Susan helped even before I ever arrived to make sure that we had everything we needed.

On my arrival I can count on a warm smile and a warm Bailey.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel at home.

Susan the owner made us feel right at home the second we arrived and up until we left.

On arrival, we were given a very warm welcome by Susan.

A warm welcome awaited us and on our arrival Susan, our host, greeted us with a warm friendly smile and offered us some real Irish hospitality.

She welcomes us with a toast in the living room and personally shows us to our room.

Breakfast was served in the sunroom with beautiful views everywhere.

The meals are delicious and the menu is top notch.

Susan made an amazing breakfast, in a lovely sunroom and knew it was our 40th anniversary.

Susan’s sister’s brown bread was definitely the best of our trip, and Susan’s yogurt/granola fruit parfait was absolutely delicious.

The rooms are so bright colored and “happy,” the beds are super comfortable, and the breakfast is phenomenal!

Breakfast just may have been the best we had during our 10-day visit to Ireland – and that is saying A LOT.

What was really remarkable was Susan’s hospitality - she welcomed us warmly, chatted with us in the sitting room over wine and Baileys, gave us fantastic recommendations on things to do/see in Doolin and provided a delicious breakfast served in a lovely room overlooking her gardens.

Note that cash payment is required (but there's an ATM very near).

And I may have paid in cash anyway without indelicate prompting; I am not a prude about how the world really runs.

You couldn’t ask for a better view from the room with the beautiful garden surrounding the house and the castle/countryside in the distance.

From the time Susan greeted us at the front door and brought us a drink in the garden until the end of our four night stay we were treated with amazing kindness!

Her B&B is beautiful, comfortable, and the gardens are breathtaking.

Why - the house is lovely,  bedrooms very comfortable, breakfast perfect, the garden beautiful and a five minute walk to the pubs and stores in Doolin.

The service was fantastic (offered a drink in the garden on arrival) and breakfast was top class.

From the room we had a lovely view of Susan’s garden which is stunning and you can also see the cliffs of moher from the window.

She has a beautiful garden with a wonderful view of the cliffs.

My  3 friends and i stayed at Dayls B&B in Doolin.. We were greeted by a very friendly Susan who made us at home immediately and treated us to a luvly drink in her amazing gardens.

She offered us an afternoon drink if we were there and when the weather was nice it was great to sit out in her beautiful garden to enjoy it.

Room too small, no hot water, cold breakfast.

On the other side, a small room with two single beds for kids.

Our room had little room for more than small suitcases, which luckily was all we travel with.

Her excellent suggestion to go to Liscannor to see the Cliffs of Moher was a perfect way to avoid the crowds and almost be alone with the beautiful entire view of them.

Despite overlooking the countryside, the walk to Gus O’Connor’s and the Ivy Cottage restaurant was 3-4 minutes.

Her place is situated in a beautiful spot with views of the Cliffs of Moher (from my parents bedroom no less!).

A good pub nearby, the sea , and great walks to the cliffs.

The room was comfortable with a very peaceful view.

Morans on the Weir, Hazel Mountain Chocolate, and several of the pubs in Galway that she had listed.

Also, it’s so close to a trail with breathtaking views leading to the Cliffs of Moher.

My husband and I had a view of the Cliffs of Moher.

Very quick walking distance to shops and dining, and beautiful views of the Cliffs of Moher and surrounding area.

It was a 20 minute walk to the base of the cliffs.The rooms (we had 3 rooms for five people) were clean and comfortable and each one had breath taking views of the local countryside. Susan, the proprietor, made sure we were well fed (the Irish breakfast was amazing!)

We had breakfast delivered from the inn on our last morning and it was just perfect - delicious, local, and filling.

Easy check in, great local advice for sight seeing, lovely breakfast every morning.

The accommodation was excellent and the breakfast superb.

The next morning we were treated to a two course breakfast that had a mixture of locally grown and sourced products, all were to die for!

We stayed 4 nights and availed of the Burren breakfast every morning.

Amazing views overlooking fisher street, delicious homemade breakfast served by the lovely Dara.

Breakfast in the morning was exceptional with each meal freshly made from local organic produce and also their own home grown ingredients, and their eggs even come from their own chickens down the road, how amazing?!

The breakfast is top quality, all locally sourced & cooked to perfection, with homemade touches that show how much Niall & Darra care about their guests.

You will not get a nicer breakfast than in sea view house.

We got yum and great breakfast, warm welcome, we love our clean - lovely - comfy room and the location is perfect since it's especially closed to the Cliffs of Moher.

The way in which you allowed our photogrpaher, Olga (Redhead Photography) and Greg (DG Video) to enter your home and capture our day is a true testament to what a real Bed & Breakfast is about.

Niall and Darra go beyond the expectations of an award winning bed and breakfast and provide perfect suggestions as to how to spend your time in this wonderful wild Atlantic Way.

Sea View House is an ideal location to tour The Burren and Doolin Cave - both activities are fantastic and well worth the expenditure of time.

The Cliffs of Moher, Aran Islands, Doolin Cave, and climbing Mullaghmore Mountain were all amazing things to do.

We spent the rest of the day going into all of the little shops in Doolin, visited the Doolin Cave and then had a great dinner at Gus O'Connor's Pub.

Overall amazing inn to stay while visiting the Cliffs of Moher (10 minute drive), the Burden and Doolin Cave.

Even traveling back to Dublin from Doolin, we took the owners advice for our final day itinerary (visit Doolin Cave, Ailish Cave, and have a late lunch in Galway to be back in time for dinner in Dublin while missing all the traffic) and they were right and their advice made our last day just as memorable as the first!

Very easy drive to the Cliffs and Doolin Cave.

One was to visit Doolin Cave, only recently was it opened up to the public and made for a good trip to see the huge stalagtite hanging from the roof of the underground cave.

Seaview has it all--easy walking distance to all 4 pubs in town, to shopping, to the seacoast, to an ancient Norman castle, to the bus taking you to the spectacular Doolin Cave, to Internet access. .

The driveway is rather steep, and there are enough stairs in the house to pose a possible challenge to the older visitor.

The only challenge as someone mentioned was the stairs,

There are windy, somewhat narrow stairs that have to be climbed to get to the front door.

There were more stairs inside and we were told to order our breakfast in advance the night before.

The driveway and stairs are a bit steep if anyone has this as as issue.

Although not a problem for us, the hill and stairs may pose a problem for some.

We were traveling with parents in their 70's and they did struggle somewhat with the steep stairs leading up to the front door.

The room we were given was up the stairs in the left back corner.

The only thing lacking were tea and coffee making facilities in the bedrooms as there were none in the lounge for free use and the really step and awkward stairs to the front door

Yes, you have to be able to climb a few steep stairs to get to the front door.

This was an inconvenience, as the stairs to the visitors entrance is around the house and up a long, daunting flight of steep stairs.

Daire organised all our sightseeing for us and advice on locality.

We also enjoyed a chat with the owners, Darra and Niall, who then gave us a suggested route home to make the most of the last of the trip!

On arrival we were greeted with our names on the board, Niall gave us a tour of the facilities.

Thank you Darra and Niall for all the kind help, thus we manage to book a boat tour to Inis Oirr and Cliff of Moher in the very last minute, before heading to Galway.

but offer concierge-like services just in chatting, for tours, sightseeing, dining, and all the details you need!

Niall suggested we take the coastal route on our way to Galway.

We found the Sea View House to be the perfect base for walking the Cliffs of Mohrer (the guided tour that leaves from below the house is a must), taking a day trip to the Arran Islands (Darra steered us well in suggesting a visit to the smallest of the islands and a horse-drawn carriage tour), listening to some good traditional music and stories (the House of Music evening as arranged by Darra was a highlight), and traveling through the Burren (with the Burren Perfumery as a surprising highlight).

There are endless cycling routes and hiking trails in the area.

We especially enjoyed our horse carriage tour of one of the Aran Islands with Michael and his horse Murphy (recommended by Darra); a non touristy experience which is what we wanted.

We received excellent recommendations from Niall of where to tour and eat and loved every suggestion made - we were sent off the beaten path and had an affordable meal at a Michelin star restaurant, how could it not be amazing!

Make sure you take the guided tour of the cliffs with Pat Sweeney - it was the highlight of our visit to Doolin.

Another bonus is that you can meet Pat Sweeney for a guided tour of the cliffs along a 5 mile hike to the visitor center and so much better.

We had planned on going to the Cliffs of Moher visitor center and/or doing a boat tour of Cliffs.

We were doing a tour all around Ireland and can honestly say that Doolin was our favourite place and the Sea View was perfect.

She was able to give us a run down of the town, restaurants, events, music and even the types and sizes of boats that run tours to the islands and cliffs.

So on her advice we took Pat Sweeney’s Cliff of Moher walk, took a boat to one of the Aran Islands followed by a tour of the Cliffs of Moher from the water side, went to Music House and heard a great concert, and went to the sheep dog demo and the Burrens.

We went on the walking tour of the Cliffs of Moher with Pat (highly recommend) and the meeting place for the tour is right across the street from Sea View House.

They were so helpful in suggesting tours and places to visit and eat.

Additionally, I believe every morning at 10am Pat Sweeney offers an up close and personal tour of the Cliffs of Moher.

but the shower was a bit disappointing (water pressure).

By the time we arrival and where made aware of the situation it was rather late to go looking for somewhere else, and Conor, the proprietor reassured us that he would have water in the morning as his cousin had a well, and he would get a tanker load from him and feed it into the B&B's water tank.

The only negatives were that the water pressure wasn't great, perhaps because other people were using it too, and you could hear people in the corridor.

The bathroom was kind of old and the water pressure in the shower was bad,

His wife, Margaret, and her staff provide the most wonderful breakfasts which are served with such kindness, care, and humor.

The welcoming hosts, elegant room, delicious food, and attention to detail have been consistently excellent over the 20+ years I've been staying there.

Breakfast was also outstanding and very generous.

Breakfast was equally as good with plenty of choice, tea was perfect.

Parking was easy, the beds were comfortable, the staff were lovely, and the FREE breakfast was FANTASTIC.

Cappabhaile House is a really nice bread and breakfast.

The morning breakfast was probably the best I’ve ever had.

This was one of the most lovely places we stayed in Ireland, Very informative host, quiet country setting, fabulous breakfast.

It's also in a lovely location, and there were great restaurants near-bye.The breakfast was fantastic, and they even made special accommodations for us as we had to leave especially early one morning to catch a ferry over to the Aran Islands.

These people make you feel like family, while there they had live music and singing one night.

We were invited to gather in the very comfortable great room for an evening music session.

One evening Conners and his brother entertained us Irish music which was a delight to all the guest.

Conor is happy to share his prolific knowledge of Irish football, heritage, culture, history and music.

he even provided a night of traditional Irish music where everyone at the B&B got involved---- it was awesome.

Conors music sessions together with his brother and his son complete the stay at Cappabhaile House to a marvelous experience.

Conor and Margaret do a great job of making you feel right at home in this very pleasant B&B in the foothills of the Burren, seeing to your every need, be it a lift into town, pub and dinner recommendations, or occasional traditional music by Conor on the accordion with a local group at a pub nearby.

We were also treated to some traditional Irish music while we were there!

), the host collected brothers, son and nephew with their musical instruments to play music and sing for us.

He most enthusiastically told us that the annual Kilfenora Irish Music Festival was being held the weekend that we were here!

We felt like part of the family staying here with live Irish music in the evenings and some good Irish humor!

He also organizes a music session in house about twice a week with Irish ballads.

Conor also played and sang Irish music that was a pleasure to hear.

Our host could not have been any more attentive and went out of his way to even provide an evening of original Irish music for our enjoyment.

The breakfast was delicious and when we returned after our first day out, they shared some music with us and we all had a great jam session!!!

We happened to arrive on a Wednesday evening when Conor, the owner, and some friends were playing traditional music in the lobby.

Connor and Margaret were incredible hosts, going above and beyond to ensure that your every need is met.
