Our welcome when we pulled up in the car was friendly and helpful and both check in and check out were of a good standard.

We stayed here after our international flight was arriving too late to travel straight home.

The front staff were amazing, from the ease of check in along with giving me a map and mentioning the good restaurants and pubs to try out.

A menu is provided upon arrival and you order your food for the 2 weeks.

A great experience from arrival to departure.

After spending 23 hours travelling and a few more hours filling out forms and being allocated to a hotel- I was very apprehensive about coming here and finally arrived just after midnight.

We arrived at the hotel and were met by Sarah, briefed on the extra precautions due to COVID and show to our room.

There was lots of choice and it arrived hot at the time ordered - as good as the buffet we usually love.



I am greatly thankful for the amazing experience we had during our stay and very satisfied with every aspect of the hotel from the staff, to our room, the facilities to the process of checking in and checking-out.

Five-star service from the moment we arrived until we left – just wonderful.

The staff are so lovely and so helpful - I wanted to check in early which wasn’t a problem and everything went very smoothly.

From the moment I arrived at the hotel, the team were amazing.

Professional yet friendly service from Raphael at check-in and received a welcome upgrade from a Superior room to a Junior Suite facing the university and Albert Park, due to my Accor status.

The facilities were fabulous and because we had late flights on the Sunday we were able to use the facilities and relax even after we had checked out.

Checked us in really quickly and even got a cot set up in our room within 5 minutes of stepping into the room.

Check in and check out staff were lovely.

but I'd checked the Pullman website and there were other rooms available to book so i was hopeful.

From the start after arriving by car the concierge staff were very helpful and said and did all the right things.

To the left there is a full bar and opposite is a restaurant, which can boast spectacular breakfast in-line with any five star restaurants.

Breakfast choice and quality was very good.

Children enjoyed the breakfast and the swimming pool.

Sky bus is only a 5 minute walk from the hotel, breakfast was so filling and had a good range of options
Being an avid swimmer i loved the fact the hotel had a 25m lap pool that had a lane dedicated to lap swimming
Will be staying here again next time the bubble opens

We had an in-room meal which was lovely and the buffet breakfast the next morning catered for all and any dietary requirements.

Facilities are great and the breakfast is vast and has a great choice that would suit everyone - love the healthy selection too!

The location is good and the hotel has clearly had a few bits of upgrade recently, mainly public areas it seems.

Definitely won’t be in a hurry to stay here again, I’ve stayed at much better places in Auckland in way better locations for half the price.

I've always liked the Pullman with its location up on the hill above the city.

The view of the CBD in Auckland is great, and you can't beat the location.

Location is great - shopping was only a short stroll from the hotel.

The meals in the Hotel are amazing, the rooms are very comfortable, the service is the best in NZ, and the location is perfect.

The location is fantastic, just 10 minutes walk to the city centre, Queen St and the famous Sky City tower.

The Pullman Hotel, a good hotel in a great location that could be amazing with some tlc.

Good location with plenty of on street parking around the hotel which saves you $45 straight away

Food and bar was fine and just a good functional hotel - I stayed room 313 and was fine

Had to wait outside in car on side street with no dedicated parking and then phone a number and wait for help to arrive and take bags into reception while car was taken away.

but as we were on an international flight, we didn't get the email or phone call regarding the procedure until we were at the hotel.

Got a phone call every hour after check out there was no-one on the line, also house keeping knocked on door and said I needed to check out.

You get the overall impression that everything is a bit of an effort for the staff and if you don't call to ask for things or about things then you just wouldn't know.

Then I went to check in and the staff member who was courteous and friendly asked me a whole lot of personal details which I had already given, like email address and phone.

So at 37 minutes 10 seconds into this experience (on my cell phone) I told the gentleman that I could not continue with the booking as I was so unhappy with the process.

For elderly or less mobile guests, be aware that the hotel is at the top of a hill from the CBD so it is a short

Main downsides were the lift where the pass keeps wiping itself if put remotely near a mobile phone, and the tv in our room which kept turning itself off or losing reception which was frustrating.

although staff were very helpful and eventually after a few calls had it fixed it was not a great end to our stay and no offer of discount offered, which I have had happen in Australia.

but when it was we got a call to say so and our bags were already in the room for us.

had to come back to hotel to get it fixed, as on the phone they couldnt do it.

However last time there were a number of faults in the service which detracted from the experience - It took two calls to get our bags to our room, the bathroom had two faults which took two attempts to fix and the shower was not impeccably clean

The Pullman Auckland is a first class Hotel in the heart of Auckland--However--our original travel agent -Alvin- at Agoda Company Pte Ltd -30 Cecil Street Prudential Tower #19-08 Singapore 049712 at Agoda.com set up the accommodations at the Pullman for my wife and I--- and botched it completely----Do not ever use Agoda.com  on-line our phone call--for any travel accommodations----Upon our check in-- Pullman staff advised us that we didn't have a reservation at all--even after showing them a confirmed booking voucher from Agoda .com with the hotel name -Pullman and a signature and a stamp from Agoda  --Confirmed--by Alvin employee of Agoda----we booked and paid for a 1 bedroom studio in the Pullman 5 star property

I explained we had prepaid room service, they said they would call to let us know what was going on, about 30 minutes later the food showed up without a explanation why they had placed a hold on the room credit.

I continued to ring and ring and again no response.

This gym, pool, spa and sauna is the best I’ve experienced World Wide, it blew our minds, and yes we made the most of it.

The facilities are fantastic, the steam room, spa and jacuzzi, along with the Spa services.

Do you have a massage on site, the staff here are awesome also.

We love the pool, sauna and gym - hanging out there lots during our stay.

We had spa treatments and all staff we encountered were wonderful.

We loved everything about the hotel facilities which included a spa pool, sauna room and a massive swimming pool where we spent most of our time during our stay.

We also had a couples massage which I definitely recommend, it was amazing! We love everything about the Pullman and we’ll definitely be back :)

Has a nice 25 meters swimming pool with a fitness centre, jacuzzi, spa and steam.

Toiletries in room and spa are bland as an example.

Pullman's lovely staff welcomed him with a note wishing him good luck, a tennis-themed surprise dessert and he had an amazing time at the smoothie bar located at the Spa shatting to Bruce and Anne, who make the best healthy smoothies.

I did not use the spa and the sport facilities

I can't fault The Pullman at all - Management, Guest Relations, Tapestry dining, The Spa, Housekeeping, Reception and the Doorman even remembered me from my last stay!!

You could tell a lot of business travelers stayed here, and they have meeting rooms, a spa, and pool all downstairs.

The breakfast is the highlight of staying here, both the nautical themed restaurant where it is served and the delicious, scrumptious and memorable dishes to choose from.

We enjoy the full breakfast as well as a pre dinner drink in the Bellini Bar and dinner in the FISH Restaurant when it is open.

The breakfast was special because t focused on healthy options, including some from the sea!

Ladies at the breakfast and the guys at the valet parking were attentive and helpful.

but strive to compensate with vouchers for use in hotel and free breakfasts for Diamond members.

Breakfast in the restaurant was excellent, great selection and incredible service.

Couldn’t forget to mentioned Thunpatsa and Kathy Le from Breakfast for welcomed me so well and looked after me, I was delighted with their costumer service.

We enjoyed breakfast on both days and it was excellent with an enormous choice of breakfast foods.

In the morning, we wanted just a light breakfast

I picked this location because I wanted to be near the water - it exceeded my expectations with everything.

When we arrived we were very happy to see the hotels location.

But the location and sumptuous reception areas, restaurants, bars, cafes, balconies and verandas would be difficult to surpass.

We were celebrating our honeymoon and couldn’t of picked a better hotel and location.

The hotel is located at the end of a long wharf and it is one of two almost identical buildings on the wharf ( the other apartments) .

The food was exceptional, the wait staff highly professional and accommodating, the location picturesque.

Really convenient location especially with the viaduct close by. ………………………………..

In addition to the great location the service alignment with Hilton Honors members is well engrained into the staff.

On the positive side, the hotel location is central and convenient.

They are completely relying on the fact that they have a brand name and the have the location.

Location is perfect, view is pretty special.

We actually ate breakfast and dinner both nights in the hotel and not only was the food faultless and delicious it was reasonably priced and I mean this in the sense that there was not a premium just because it was in the hotel.

When you pay Hilton prices your expect Hilton quality and that's exactly what they delivered.

but talking to what staff there were, perhaps if the Hilton paid staff properly they wouldn't have recruiting and retention problems

It’s definitely not worth the Hilton prices they charge,

The parking was very expensive, even near by.

The breakfast is a joke, not only you have to pay extra to get a real coffee and not a filtered one (Hilton really?).

If you take our issues out, I still would not pay full price the rooms are rather dated and bathrooms looking pretty manky.

Disappointed that you had to pay for internet in your room and sky movies I thought that would have been part of the room charge.

although pricey, worth every cent in our opinion.

For a hotel still charging full rates the service is nowhere near where it should be.

Instead, we can pay a fee to upgrade the breakfast.

Rates here vary wildly - at one point we had booked using the price guaranty match - a lower rate was on Expedia.

Shame on the Hilton for not discounting the rates to these rooms or providing full explanation before booking.

Expensive to stay and very expensive cocktails.

Reluctantly they moved our room & when I asked to have a bed put in the room for our 5.5 year old daughter they then told me there would be an additional charge for this on top of the $45/night valet fee for parking.

Because I had not booked direct they said they were unable to rebate any money be caused they didn’t know what I had actually paid for the room!!

I could hear complete conservations in the corridor,

Downside , the bathroom needs an upgrade ( shower handle could not be tilted ) , noise from the corridor could be heard constantly and the deck chairs on the balcony could not be used as cushions were soaked from the rain .

Views overlooking harbor are spectacular - we didn't find the boats noisy at all.

If there is a conference on you’ll probably be able to hear what’s going on from your room, had some booming music until 11-12 one evening.

Downside to that was that they started at 6am and it was pretty noisy.

The first night we had very noisy neighbours and the second night a party over the road, so we contacted reception who quickly offered up the option of two additional rooms that we could choose from.

Only small drawback was that we could hear the loud boat horns through the sliding glass doors, as well as our next door neighbors, 2 men who sat on their balcony and talked into the wee hours of the morning, waking us up a few times.

Can be a little loud as you are next to the ferry piers,

The bad news is the cruise ship can create a
little traffic problem (Auckland has enough already) when passengers are disembarking or heading for excursions.

So no water view and noise from dawn onwards from ship engines.

So we headed off into town and worked our way through the mess that is Auckland Cities current traffic system.

Traffic was miserable in this area due to heavy road construction.

The only thing is the noise because of the boats coming in and out all day, which is not the case during night so you can sleep well.

We were woken by the military ship parked next to us.

So a great location let down by staff and noise issues.

but the volume of music, more importantly the base was so loud our room was vibrating.

Never did the agent make eye contact, and she simply recited all the standard formalities. She did let me know that the 8th floor is under renovation and that there would be noise,

Usually hotel restaurants are mediocre, this is not the case here, I would recommend the restaurants even if you are not staying on site, highly recommend, I will return.

We stayed in Auckland for a romantic weekend getaway from the family, when we arrived we asked for recommended restaurants and explained what we wanted to do.

Food was excellent at the Bellini bar and the staff was great!

The food was incredible🤗🥰 The location was central to everything and the views were breathtakingly beautiful.

The fish restaurant was really good for dinner .

The Reception and Concierge Staff as well as the Bellini Bar and FISH Restaurant Staff are truly delightful and welcome us warmly.

This hotel has a wonderful entrance way, several open fires, a well stocked bar, restaurant and coffee that just makes you smile.

The restaurant FISH was superb (2nd floor), as was the Belini Bar on the 1st floor.

The restaurants were terrific with FISH a highlight, Cedric the manager was attentive, the service first class and the food was out of this world.

I not only had a beautiful spacious room with a water view and a balcony, the 2 on-site restaurants had incredible water views and the food and wine was excellent.

We stayed 2 nights in the Bow Suite which is a large panoramic suite overlooking the Harbour.

I LOVED my upgrade Balcony Harbour View room and the views were simply stunning.

The bed was comfortable and the balcony idyllic with the doors opening out to cool breezes from the sea below and across to the islands, suburbs and small peninsulas which characterise Auckland's topography and seascape.

The front desk staff managed to get us in rooms just after 11 am and we were upgraded to a water view facing the ferry terminals.

It truly is the perfect spot for atmosphere (cosy with fires and soft lighting), drinks, snacks and enjoying those magnificent harbour views!

Our room was a harbour view and it was SPECTACULAR, just gloriously beautiful.

The Hotel is in such a great location, beautiful views of the harbour and the city.

They provided a room upgrade on two seperate stays (4 days apart), one with direct Harbour views and balcony.

The service was impeccable and I loved my upgraded Harbour view room on the 5th Floor.

Very comfortable, welcoming  boutique like hotel in excellent location at bottom of High st.

We stayed the night after the party in a Boutique suite- separate lounge, lovely big comfortable bed, cute furniture and amazing Art-Deco styled black and white bathroom.

We booked the Boutique Suite for a bit of extra luxury and it was very plush.

The boutique charm was equally matched by the warm customer service.

We then were told they upgraded us to a boutique room which was very kind.

Spent one night in this funky boutique hotel.

Location is good very central amongst boutique shopping district.

This is a small boutique hotel in downtown Auckland so convenient for ferries and shops etc.

As it is near many boutique shops and sky tower.

This is a very plush boutique hotel, I'd definitely stay here again when in Auckland.

If you like mid-century modern architecture and boutique hotels, this is the place for you.

We had a ‘Boutique Suite’, which had plenty of room for us, and all of our luggage.

Now a boutique hotel( and bar still) with art deco decor and themes.

More of a small boutique and very stylish hotel.

Our trusted travel agent had to convince us to try DeBrett, we're generally not "boutique' people,
