I refused to stay at that establishment for the following reasons: the bathroom was disgusting, toilet did not flush, mold residue in the shower, the beds had blood stains on the blanket, sheets and mattress, and more.

I could really see a concussion, broken nose or bloody nose at the very least happening with the weird bathroom layout.

The floor was soaked as the drain leaked as well.

Toilet seat was loose, tub faucet was not lined up to the plumbing, loose panel on the AC unit.

wallpaper in entrance peeling, toilet on first floor rocks, and corner edges in numerous areas are dinged and chipped.

The room was musty, curtains did not work, mattress was shot, and sink ran water on the floor when it was used.

Wallpaper was peeling throughout, tiles in the bathroom cracked, slight smell of mold and mildew throughout the guest room.

The toilet had mold in it like no one had stayed in the room in some time.

When we arrived on the third floor with our luggage we noted that the hallway roof was leaking for what looked like a considerable length of time.By the following morning rain was pouring through the ceiling and light fixtures.

Imagine my surprise when I got off the elevator to see several trash cans filled with water from the leaking ceiling.

When we got inside there was black mold and pealing wallpaper down the wall next to then AC and window (pics).. Then we moved to 203 and there was a washcloth wrapped around the showerhead soaking wet!

Bathroom was dirty,  hotel reservation was messed up.

Bathroom drain ran very slowly and the door was very squeaky so when one of us got up in the night, the squeak woke up the other.

Bed was not comfortable and water pressure in my room was very weak.

Bathrooms need upgrading and desperate renovating,  just old hotel feel.

Good price, nice breakfast, clean room and very friendly Staff.

Front desk staff are personable, helpful and friendly.

Upon entering the room, there was a Halyomorpha Halys (AKA Stink Bug) crawling on the wall which I captured and took outside to release.

Rooms smell from mold and mildew all on the walls, carpet and behind wall paper.

My room smelled like old mold and the breakfast team was more interested in smoking than keeping the service stocked and fresh.

Was first placed in room 103..the mold smell was disgusting as soon as you opened the door.

The pillows and linens were awful and the room had a moldy smell which they had tried to cover up.

This hotel is always kept impeccably clean, so there is never a worry about mildew, bedbugs, dirty corners, etc.?

We were on the second floor and every time we got off the elevator it smelled like sausage.

Unlike other hotels nearby, the room did not have a moldy smell.

The smoking room was dirty and the smell was to strong even for a smoker.

First we were welcomed in By Tasha at the front desk.

This is one of the most reasonably priced hotels in the city, the staff was polite, and the hotel was clean overall

Tim at the front desk is a cool guy and just starts your stay off on the right foot.

Based on the staff alone, I would definitely stay here again.

I was greeted in the hallway by Alan on my way down to get breakfast.

Plenty of wear in tear in room, outdated TV, ceiling had obvious damage, bathroom door handle broken.

The security latch on the door was broken and allowed the door to be opened.

The exit near my room had a broken door handle so l needed to walk thru the front entrance.

There was no effort to secure this door while we were there.

Tile Floor was slippery just inside room door. Breakfast area Covid measures were one staff member trying to get food and waffles for an impatient crowd of guests who were chaotically gathered at the edge of the food area (which is counterproductive to limit the spread of germs!)

Since we would not be ready in time for housekeeping to clean our room; the housekeeper asked us to leave our used towels and trash outside of our door in the hallway so they can pick it up.

And  there must have been some kind of problem with the hydraulics on the doors.

And the general manager hides behind doors.

3) Room door was broken and wouldn't open all the way.

Was very upset/ House keeping put a DND sign on my door so they did not have tp clean the room.

The morning of checkout we were rudely awakened by severe banging on hotel door at 8:30 a.m, she explained that the do not disturb sign was on the floor.

My only complaints: there was trash outside the side door that was there our entire stay (cups and napkins), the sink leaked under the counter (didn't really affect us), and the toilet was hard to flush (handle hard to push down).

We were on lobby floor and had guest up after 11pm and would stay up at night making noise in the hallway and slamming room doors up until 2am.

though we were disappointed with the pool & whirlpool temperatures (they were aware & apologized with a notice at door).

Funny thing is I didnt put a sign and there was no DND sign on my door when i came back.

however, my Co-Worker was provided a room Key for the Room Next door (306).

I love staying at this hotel the people are very friendly  the noise is a little noisey when the heat pump is on  or in the hallway when you hear the doors slam shut.

The saving grace is the staff, every person we spoke with great and super friendly.

We spoke by phone and by email and he was able to resolve this error and saw to it that my credit card was credited the full amount of the duplicate charge.

Mold in shower as well as shower tube was not clean & the message light on phone would not stop blinking..we eventually unplugged the phone & this has happened before during a previous stay.

No compensation, no phone call, no manger on site.

Front desk thinks answering phone is more important than checking you in EVEN when I can see people in the office not answering the phone.

They were calling me to tell me I left some belongings there.

The wi-fi is spotty at best and did not have enough bandwidth to stream a video and kept dropping the signal to the point I spent 3 days using my 4G connection from my phone's hotspot instead.

The noise level of other guests was very high & resulted in a call to desk which in turn caused the noise to subside at least to a tolerable level.

For whatever reason our lamps were unplugged and one of our two phones didn't work.

Front desk clerk was nowhere to be found by phone.

I had to call several times to make changes to the reservation.

The room that I stayed in had several problems upon entry..  One of the phones didn't work.

A polite phone call to the room where noise was coming from would have at least shown some effort on hotel to remedy the problem or An offer to move us to another room  would have been better.

Guess what, she was on the phone again outside.

She handled special requests quickly and pleasantly and dealt promptly with a minor problem (broken telephone).

When I tried to call in advance to confirm rate no one answered probably because the desk clerk was on a personal call on her cell like she was when I walked in the hotel.

The room smelled moldy, I would guess from the tub can’t verify.

Torn and missing curtains, black mold in the bathroom, inoperable bathroom fixtures and almost $300.00 per night single occupancy, non smoking regular room.

The room itself was HORRIBLE, roachs were EVERYWHERE, it smelled horrible upon entering

The room reeked of cigarettes and there was a cigarette burn in the comforter, which this was supposed to be a non-smoking room.

Also, she said she would inform her manager about the cigarette smell and broken phone in our room.

We had stains all over the carpet, mold in the bathroom, rips in the shower curtain and an I'll fitting covering for the sofa to hide God only knows what!

We stayed here over the holidays… Despite the smell of mold, and the filthiness of the lobby and rooms… We also had a leak in our room which destroyed some of our property.

but smoking was smelled in part of hallway (7).

but beds were messed up and towels laying around then we told him we had to wait 10 more minutes while he ran around and found us a room and now we're in a room and the  smoke detector battery is bad so it's chirping loud as hell. .

The water in the shower & vanity had slow drainage.

The room did not have that smell thank goodness.

Took care of a smoke odor issue in the room and said she was there for any other needs we may have.

The furniture is nasty and slip covers try to hide some of it.

From the moment we walked into the entrance and had to step over dog poop inside the reception, we should have known better than to stay here.

The room was clean and the staff were nice.

Tamika the Receptionist was absolutely great.

The maintenance person fixed it the next morning and was extremely helpful - the most of any of the staff.

Morning checkout person was very helpful and accommodating as well!!

When I first entered the lobby of this newly renovated hotel I was greeted by a very friendly young woman named Tracy who made my check in process very fast and easy.

The bartenders were very friendly and agreed to stay open as long as we were drinking.

Every member of the staff that we encountered on this trip was very friendly and helpful.

I found the staff to be friendly, rooms clean, and hotel safe.

Check in was so easy and the lady who checked us in was so polite and friendly.

We enjoyed the central location, refrigerator and microwave in the room, central lobby seating for visiting friends, and friendly staff.

After my stay at this Marriott, I now understand why the rate is so extraordinarily high, and I would not recommend that anyone stay at this hotel if they are concerned about strict adherence to Marriott's posted COVID-19 safety measures.

For the price of $350.00 for two nights, I expect a bit more.

Breakfast does NOT come with the WAY over priced room and the staff is not empathetic.

Went home a got a email stating we need to pay for the data service about $7. When you login to use the hotel internet, you need to type in user and password, click all through those choices (high-speed or not, etc.)

The catch:  it's more expensive, and you have to pay for breakfast.

Something that was surprising and not helpful where my husband is concerned is the cost to send laundry out.

Beer prices were lower than most hotels; wine was a bit steep,

Devin said "NO! I'll call him from the phone right here behind the desk, you give me his  number or you can pay for the room yourself."

I was disappointed in my stay, given the price I was asked to pay.

In our most recent stay, we used our rewards to stay one night and paid out of pocked the other.

If you want to be the best you need to pay more attention to detail.

but bring your bankroll as it's usual hotel prices.

My only two concerns were that they could have had better pillows in the rooms and it was rather pricey ($165/night) for Danville.

At the price they charged it should be there.

even though it is a bit more expensive than the other hotels in the area and didn't include breakfast in the rate.

My husband and I paid $20 for one cocktail and one beer at a very uncomfortable bar.

however, that my rating dropped down from a 4 or a 5 star rating is because it smelled like really sweaty socks, and we think that came from the air conditioner.

The wipes were literally "black" with filth.

The room was stuffy and smelled like mildew upon arrival, so I turned on the a/c thinking the smell would clear out

The bed pillows smelled like bad body odor, or possibly the smell of a dog that had been laying on them.

but room spray could not cover up the smell.

The staff was not friendly at check in and the property was being renovated (clearly it needed it) so there was dirty construction and tiling debris due to the work going on all around.

Main issue was bathroom with shower having mildew and mold.

Only complaint is condition of carpets which are filthy on second floor and near the elevators.

There was light bulb out about the desk and signs of mold on the grout in the shower.

Yes, the room was clean and spacious (with, unfortunately, a deodorizing smell that was heavy and annoying).

In most recent stays, the bathrooms tiles are not clean as they had black mold, the toilet not flushing correctly, the bathroom sink not draining, and in our most recent stay the refrigerator and microwave were missing.

Room smells like all floor rooms in any hotel. Mildew!

but be advised smoking was allowed outdoors.

The hotel is a little dumpy -- stains on carpet, musty smell in the hallway.

The hotel appears to have recently undergone some renovation as the hallways had a faint new carpet smell.

Lectured by reception that they cannot always be at the front counter.
