There was a variety of items offered for breakfast.

The bed was fine, everything worked, the breakfast was okay

Enjoyed breakfast-make your own waffles, toast, pastries, yogurt, cereal, cooked eggs and a meat (the meat does vary day to day).

This hotel used to be reasonable and well maintained with a well stocked breakfast.

Morning wait staff at the breakfast bar was also busy making sure everyone was happy and had what they needed!

But the stay over all was a five star -gave it 4 because of the breakfast deal, no biggie.

The breakfast area was always clean and kept tidy.

Breakfast is also served at this location during a time when other hotels fail to offer breakfast.

They had hot breakfast which in the days of Covid are a luxury!

Nice breakfast in the morning, they even have thoughtful grab and go bags for those in a rush.

Rooms were good sized,  beds were so-so and breakfast was good for covid.

They have good breakfast and hot coffee every morning.

Hopefully they will be able to start serving breakfast again in a safe manner.

Best Western had a great continental breakfast.

Breakfast was OK at best… Staff was friendly…rooms were nicely furnished and comfortable.

They had a nice selection of foods at the breakfast buffet which is included with the stay.The bathroom was very clean and the beds very comfortable.

Plenty of wear in tear in room, outdated TV, ceiling had obvious damage, bathroom door handle broken.

The security latch on the door was broken and allowed the door to be opened.

The exit near my room had a broken door handle so l needed to walk thru the front entrance.

There was no effort to secure this door while we were there.

Tile Floor was slippery just inside room door. Breakfast area Covid measures were one staff member trying to get food and waffles for an impatient crowd of guests who were chaotically gathered at the edge of the food area (which is counterproductive to limit the spread of germs!)

Since we would not be ready in time for housekeeping to clean our room; the housekeeper asked us to leave our used towels and trash outside of our door in the hallway so they can pick it up.

And  there must have been some kind of problem with the hydraulics on the doors.

And the general manager hides behind doors.

3) Room door was broken and wouldn't open all the way.

Was very upset/ House keeping put a DND sign on my door so they did not have tp clean the room.

The morning of checkout we were rudely awakened by severe banging on hotel door at 8:30 a.m, she explained that the do not disturb sign was on the floor.

My only complaints: there was trash outside the side door that was there our entire stay (cups and napkins), the sink leaked under the counter (didn't really affect us), and the toilet was hard to flush (handle hard to push down).

We were on lobby floor and had guest up after 11pm and would stay up at night making noise in the hallway and slamming room doors up until 2am.

though we were disappointed with the pool & whirlpool temperatures (they were aware & apologized with a notice at door).

Funny thing is I didnt put a sign and there was no DND sign on my door when i came back.

however, my Co-Worker was provided a room Key for the Room Next door (306).

I love staying at this hotel the people are very friendly  the noise is a little noisey when the heat pump is on  or in the hallway when you hear the doors slam shut.

Tried again online instead of using the same person over the phone.

One of the televisions didn’t work and the phone didn’t work.

Roachs were crawling out of the phone, clock and tv.

Keisha shows up with a can of air freshener and another phone.

We spoke by phone and by email and he was able to resolve this error and saw to it that my credit card was credited the full amount of the duplicate charge.

Mold in shower as well as shower tube was not clean & the message light on phone would not stop blinking..we eventually unplugged the phone & this has happened before during a previous stay.

No compensation, no phone call, no manger on site.

Front desk thinks answering phone is more important than checking you in EVEN when I can see people in the office not answering the phone.

They were calling me to tell me I left some belongings there.

The wi-fi is spotty at best and did not have enough bandwidth to stream a video and kept dropping the signal to the point I spent 3 days using my 4G connection from my phone's hotspot instead.

The noise level of other guests was very high & resulted in a call to desk which in turn caused the noise to subside at least to a tolerable level.

For whatever reason our lamps were unplugged and one of our two phones didn't work.

Front desk clerk was nowhere to be found by phone.

I had to call several times to make changes to the reservation.

The room that I stayed in had several problems upon entry..  One of the phones didn't work.

A polite phone call to the room where noise was coming from would have at least shown some effort on hotel to remedy the problem or An offer to move us to another room  would have been better.

Guess what, she was on the phone again outside.

She handled special requests quickly and pleasantly and dealt promptly with a minor problem (broken telephone).

When I tried to call in advance to confirm rate no one answered probably because the desk clerk was on a personal call on her cell like she was when I walked in the hotel.

The room smelled moldy, I would guess from the tub can’t verify.

Torn and missing curtains, black mold in the bathroom, inoperable bathroom fixtures and almost $300.00 per night single occupancy, non smoking regular room.

The room itself was HORRIBLE, roachs were EVERYWHERE, it smelled horrible upon entering

The room reeked of cigarettes and there was a cigarette burn in the comforter, which this was supposed to be a non-smoking room.

Also, she said she would inform her manager about the cigarette smell and broken phone in our room.

We had stains all over the carpet, mold in the bathroom, rips in the shower curtain and an I'll fitting covering for the sofa to hide God only knows what!

We stayed here over the holidays… Despite the smell of mold, and the filthiness of the lobby and rooms… We also had a leak in our room which destroyed some of our property.

but smoking was smelled in part of hallway (7).

but beds were messed up and towels laying around then we told him we had to wait 10 more minutes while he ran around and found us a room and now we're in a room and the  smoke detector battery is bad so it's chirping loud as hell. .

The water in the shower & vanity had slow drainage.

The room did not have that smell thank goodness.

Took care of a smoke odor issue in the room and said she was there for any other needs we may have.

The furniture is nasty and slip covers try to hide some of it.

From the moment we walked into the entrance and had to step over dog poop inside the reception, we should have known better than to stay here.

I refused to stay at that establishment for the following reasons: the bathroom was disgusting, toilet did not flush, mold residue in the shower, the beds had blood stains on the blanket, sheets and mattress, and more.

I could really see a concussion, broken nose or bloody nose at the very least happening with the weird bathroom layout.

The floor was soaked as the drain leaked as well.

Toilet seat was loose, tub faucet was not lined up to the plumbing, loose panel on the AC unit.

wallpaper in entrance peeling, toilet on first floor rocks, and corner edges in numerous areas are dinged and chipped.

The room was musty, curtains did not work, mattress was shot, and sink ran water on the floor when it was used.

Wallpaper was peeling throughout, tiles in the bathroom cracked, slight smell of mold and mildew throughout the guest room.

The toilet had mold in it like no one had stayed in the room in some time.

When we arrived on the third floor with our luggage we noted that the hallway roof was leaking for what looked like a considerable length of time.By the following morning rain was pouring through the ceiling and light fixtures.

Imagine my surprise when I got off the elevator to see several trash cans filled with water from the leaking ceiling.

When we got inside there was black mold and pealing wallpaper down the wall next to then AC and window (pics).. Then we moved to 203 and there was a washcloth wrapped around the showerhead soaking wet!

Bathroom was dirty,  hotel reservation was messed up.

Bathroom drain ran very slowly and the door was very squeaky so when one of us got up in the night, the squeak woke up the other.

Bed was not comfortable and water pressure in my room was very weak.

Bathrooms need upgrading and desperate renovating,  just old hotel feel.

Good price, nice breakfast, clean room and very friendly Staff.

I ended up getting breakfast at the nearby Biscuitville instead.

Self serve breakfast items are provided for guests - fresh bagels, pastries, fruit, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, orange juice, apple juice, milk, coffee, tea.

Come on management give customers what they pay for and stop being so cheap on your breakfast!!

I was greeted in the hallway by Alan on my way down to get breakfast.

Excellent staff friendly and helpful Very Good breakfast.

The hotel was nice , clean and had a good breakfast selection.

The breakfast was typical of Hampton properties and was clean and well stocked.

but the coffee was very good and plentiful.

Pros:  Bed was very comfy, breakfast was excellent, particularly the waffles with toppings and the smoothies.

Always stay at Hampton Inn, very friendly staff, breakfast was good.

The hotel staff was extremely nice, and the breakfast was just enough.

Mr. Dewberry greeted us this morning, remembering our faces and making sure we knew of the (impressive) breakfast spread in their corner café in the lobby.

You better believe I won't ever be staying there again unless they are under new management and undergo an extensive remodel.

but it was obvious it was in need of a renovation.

Although the common areas have been updated the rooms have not!

Anyway, hotel needs a bit of an update as I have been to Hampton inns and it was not as updated as others.

I'm not sure if all Hampton Inns have updated recently

I think the hotel can use a little renovating,

but will need a little updating before long.

I told them I was so sorry they had to work in those conditions.

Rooms are tired and worn and need to be updated.

The condition of the bathroom could have been better--wallpaper peeling, grout seems to always be a problem in hotels.

The carpet was filthy and there was missing furniture.

Upon entering the room, there was a Halyomorpha Halys (AKA Stink Bug) crawling on the wall which I captured and took outside to release.

Rooms smell from mold and mildew all on the walls, carpet and behind wall paper.

My room smelled like old mold and the breakfast team was more interested in smoking than keeping the service stocked and fresh.

Was first placed in room 103..the mold smell was disgusting as soon as you opened the door.

The pillows and linens were awful and the room had a moldy smell which they had tried to cover up.

This hotel is always kept impeccably clean, so there is never a worry about mildew, bedbugs, dirty corners, etc.?

We were on the second floor and every time we got off the elevator it smelled like sausage.

Unlike other hotels nearby, the room did not have a moldy smell.

The smoking room was dirty and the smell was to strong even for a smoker.

Breakfast options were great and eating area was never busy.

Breakfast in the morning had a good mixture and was tasty.

Check in and out was a breeze, interaction w staff at front desk and at breakfast was courteous and helpful.

Stopped for one night on a 2 week border to border antique motorcycle race, room was fine, up to Holiday Inn standards, breakfast was fine, standard offering, Room was quiet and comfortable.

Breakfast was well displayed and constantly looked after.

Many years ago we lived in Silver Spring, MD, and it had one of those iconic silver diners so famous for their delicious meals, especially breakfasts with sausage gravy and biscuits.

Our room was very clean, the kids loved the continental breakfast lots of options for picky kids.

We survived the smell of the room knowing that it was a smoking room, if it had been a non smoking room I would have complained.

After two nights, the clothes I didn't wear all smelled like smoke.

They have a curved shower curtain bar for the tub/shower that is mounted too high for the inner curtain to reliably remain inside the tub when you are using the shower.

My one complaint was that the curtains on the window were for looks only and could not be closed.

The bathroom was small, and the blind wouldn't close all the way; not matter what I tried, so street lights flooded our room all night.

Although we had a pool view from our window, the pool was closed for repairs.

If the window had been operable, I would have left it open.

The temp was in the 90's, so the room was stuffy and opening the windows didnt help as it was backed onto the pool areas where smokers were gathered.

The restaurant attached to the hotel (Santana's) was freaking delicious!

The place is back to having a good breakfast spread, which I appreciated.

Rooms and breakfast are always good; staff is always friendly and welcoming.

The Mexican restaurant next store was great as well, they served delicious food at a discount because I was staying at the hotel.

I've often spoken of Mexico as a land of soups, and this is a real one. Delicious!

Both my room and my friend's room reeked of cigarette smoke.

the room smelled of mildew and "wet dog" as my daughter described it.

Our room stunk too, again must have been a person in the hallway.

Prefer the smoking area not be right next to the front door.

First room they set us in had a musty smell, found cigarette

but the Comfort Inn is smelly, old and needs some updated love to the hotel.

The only complaint we had was that the AC did not seem to work that well and smelled a little musty.

My room did not smell like smoke and was very clean.

We needed a double and they only had a smoking allowed double, I really thought smoking was banned in hotels.

It smells because it doesn't seem to have been aired out or well-cleaned during our entire Danville Comfort Inn experience.

The carpet had cigarette burns in it and the carpet was snagged from pets picking it.

but it had a terrible odor we had to keep our balcony door open most of the time.

Oddly, one leaves the restaurant/bar to use the hotel lobby restrooms, which were disgusting Sunday morning after a Bogie's Saturday night.

Breakfast was good with typical options – well stocked and attended.

The breakfast area is very bright, clean and open, and the offerings are typical Choice Hotels fare.

The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent.

Cooler for yogurt, apple sauce & cream cheese.

The staff was cordial, the lobby area and the breakfast were fine, and the room was excellent.

The staff is always friendly and the breakfast is superb!
