We first was given a room that the air was stifling hot.

When I turned the air flow to the minimum, the room cooled down to a more tolerable 78 -

the hotel is just average nothing special for what you pay, considering also that in summer time the room was terribly cold due to too much air condition.

The air condition did heat up the room throughout the day (for what reason? no clue.  )

but without the proper decoration for a place of its fame (more prone to the Chinese customs than the European air).

At breakfast I came across the GM who checked upon the satisfaction of my stay.

Management changed the breakfast from full buffet to semi buffet which was a good idea since the hotel was still in low occupancy stage of recovery.

Very happy to come back and enjoy another safe and healthy stay at Kempinski in the future.

The room was very clean, breakfast was fresh and very flavorful.

Food is delicious and rooms are very clean.

Also he has assured me that he would be present on all days at 8.30 in the cafteria to keep my breakfast ready.

but we didn’t think much of the food especially for the price, the beer was ok however in comparison the Dragon Palace Chinese restaurant in the Hotel was delicious and the service was impeccable, we were looked after by the wonderful Jolin.

Breakfast, snacks and dinner were available, and the view was very nice.

Surprisingly , In dinner buffet at Berlin Cafe , I saw Samosa and heard an Indian voice in Hindi .

The buffet morning breakfast was of many variety of caters to everyone.

The breakfast was delicious and there are fun bars and restaurants nearby.

My favorite was the homemade yogurt. Yum!

I book with Booking.com which seems to offer rates inclusive of breakfast.

The beer is very delicious and brewed inhouse by a German Brewmaster.

There are five types of porridge such as  healthy brown rice, millet etc.

No free shuttle bus from/to airport, furniture in room is not in mint condition and breakfast buffet is not included when a “deLux” room is booked (Y610 excl tax).

Stayed two nights and the first thing that hit me on check in was how hot the temperature in the foyer.

I haven't got any trouble with hot water or any disorder (I staid around 100 nights).

but when it arrived it was hot (this was in winter, also white wine is meant to be served chilled).

I felt hot in the night and window could not be opened.

Despite being -6 degrees outside, you get hot water in the room.

though as they responded quite negatively when I asked why the rooms were so hot and if the heaters were working.

At times it becomes little hot in the room, for which you can open a small window and keep it covered by heavy curtains for perfect temperature.

-_- Subsequently, requested for a change of rooms and got a much better room for the remaining 2 nights.

I also asked for the items to be returned in poly bags and they were left on hangers.

I only requested to have 2 additional bottled water in the room once and the housekeeping lady will make sure the additional bottles are there throughout your stay.

Good variety breakfast, gym and pool are pretty much the best in Dalian since I’ve also tried many other brands over the years.

Everything was delicious, especially the truffle mushroom dumplings!

Cookies made by John were so yummy 😋 Especially small ones with jam inside, love it.

Excellent service, excellent  cleanliness, excellent hotel location, comfortable room, very good breakfast, and I had a nice sleep!

The rooms are comfortable and a very good breakfast is served in the Cafe.

Rooms are large & comfortably  furnished - air con in one room was very weak & room was always hot which is not good in May!

My suggestion to the hotel would be:
1) Internet speed to increase to fulfill business needs
2) Breakfast should have more choices and varieties, refill speed need to be fast

The only suggestion I could make would be to make sure that the refrigerator is turned to cold.

The breakfast buffet was wonderful, especially the Chinese food section,

Breakfast and dinner delicious, and staff very kind and avaliable to help you anytime I was needing support.

Stayed i a corner room with a broken wifi and had to dig in for 3 days to find cheese at during breakfast located behind the kids playground at the corner of sushi bar.

Must try the buffet breakfast as many choices of food and sure will give one a good start in the day.

Breakfast was great and was even offered freshly squeezed orange juice by the head chef(Gautam Sethi.

The breakfast in the hotel was absolutely amazing with so many varieties it was unbelievable.

Rooms are outstanding and breakfast is amazing.

Breakfast buffet is excellent and superior to most other high end hotels in China.

Pro: 
- Great breakfast buffet at reasonable price, 128 RMB
- Fantastic comer view bay room with ample room size, three windows and great rain shower in bathroom
- Ask Concierge for a location card so cabs around town know where you want to go and get back to the ranch
- Maid service is great and friendly 
- Tip, TV sound is limited at low volume, solution is to blast the speakers in the bathroom if you want to hear anything.

They also wanted to close much earlier than it says on the wall (01:30) and requested us to pay and leave at around 01:00

It looks, smells and actually is a vast construction site.

but lots of construction going on in the local area to support the new Dalian convention center.

Lot of construction activities are happening in the nearby location.

Was unfortunately facing a construction side.

The hotel is located in a neighborhood undergoing heavy construction, and is constantly dirty and dusty.

Also, in the plunge pools in the changing area you aren't allowed to wear a swimsuit and must go in naked 'for hygiene reasons'.

The food is spread out over a big area with no rhyme or reason and I missed a lot of basics hiding  away from where I was sitting.

For a reason not able to be explained by staff, the air-conditioning was "over-ridden" and couldn't be restored.

Two reasons it prevents this Hilton to be 4 stars are: first no complimentary wifi, quite odd, hotel please factor the wifi cost in the daily rate, this is ridiculous.

Below are the reasons why:

1)	No taxis waiting outside and no doorman to help me call a cab.

The only reason why I don't recommend this hotel is due to the price, the distance from the main sightsees and the paid internet.

The breakfast buffet at the iCafe restaurant was excellent.

Everything is excellent, from check in to room comfortability to breakfast.

Breakfast buffet is good with lots of options.

After breakfast, I ask the staff at the Horizon club for a 6PM late checkout so I can get some sleep before my 8:00 pm flight out of Dalian.

I like the noodle and the Dalian pancake very much!

Great spread of international breakfast selections.

A few minutes later, again a young waiter cherry, she poured me a cup of honey water, drank it helped me, and brought to Apple, saying that I may cause physical discomfort factor, well after I lay down and arrange to leave.

Along with the stay I have lots of people to thanks, all breakfast crews at lobby, 17th floor room cleaner Wu Ciu Min, all crews at horizon club which special thanks to Coco 王静，Cherry 艳玲and 梓琳 as they are very kind and helpful, especially Coco who has provide me a very excellent, professional and outstanding work from daily operations knowledge to customer service, she was able to take care and reduce my worries about extending the stay, some travel questions and good service when I was relax or having meal at horizon club.

In the morning, breakfast was a really great setup.

Great service as always,  Oh yeah, ice cream for breakfast really hits the spot.

Been at shangri- la for three weeks so far for business trip and it’s been really good, especially the room service and the breakfast and dinner at horizon.

Thanks to Ms Donna for making sure my breakfast had everything that i wanted, thanks to Ms. Jennifer GRO for showing us a hotel tour with passion, and Ms Alice Zhang from ADD that out of her way to prepare special nice cakes for us and introduce her restaurant and Ms Yang Jing served us with all kinds of delicious food with great service.

The restaurant was good, and the breakfast was above par!!

Morning came - what was all the fuss about - one apple and one orange!!!!! Ahem!!!

I enjoy the wide selection of well prepared and delicious cuisine within your hotel too.

One can have traditional Chinese breakfast,

I had minor trouble when making reservation, with hotel's sales-rep and reservationist giving us two different answers, regarding the hotel parking use and breakfast charges.

The elevator doesn't lead to the underground parking so if you have a lot of luggage or a stroller, drop it off at the curbside then park.

Plop down in bed, plug everything in a call it a night.

After an hour or so, the phone rings - same receptionist - you are a diamond member, we've found it.

First it was not so easy and if there called me back there just ring once as they don't want to pay for the call to my Hong Kong mobile.

The younger curb staff ignored us and our baggage in favor of their smart phones as well.

The only downside to be honest is the lack of charging options beside the bed, which these days is a bit of a necessity for laptop and mobile.

It is getting extremely old and need a major renovation.

During my stay, I was getting sick with cold flu & fever, and I didn’t tell my health condition to anyone from the room service.

The buffet breakfast offers an impressive choice of Asian and western dishes.

Everything were quite good in this hotel especially the breakfast.

Breakfast had a good variety of options to choose from.

富丽华曾经是大连的奢华的标志，现在虽然有5星级的硬件，服务规范和意识确是三星级的，门口迎宾人员傻站着阻挡车辆，没人主动帮助行李搬放，大厅里看不到鲜花装饰，没有迎宾果盘，早餐的餐厅里，无人领座，无人主动问是否要咖啡，居然没有桌布，也不提供餐巾，定份提供快餐式的餐纸。亚洲食品的种类超过香格里拉，西餐部分不能说是空白，质量确实连一星也算不上，服务人员并非服务态度不好，而是酒店的总体管理极不专业。

The seafood casserole was excellent with very fresh ingredients.

The Japanese has, once you get past the completely baffling and labyrinthine iPad only menu (all in Chinese), an elegant decor and every dish I sampled there was delicious,

Very comfortable and quiet with an excellent choice of food for breakfast.

As we were checking out before startup time of breakfast the restaurant prepared breakfast packs too.

The buffet dinner was fantastic value - all you could eat and drink.

The location of this hotel is very good and the breakfast is good too.

The breakfast is a help yourself buffet style that covers all tastes be it vegetarian, European or oriental, if there is anything you can't find just ask and it's sorted on the spot.

Breakfast had plenty of options, this was probably the best of the hotel.

Location was good and served nice breakfast and the only issues is the standard of services by their staff.

Most "problems" are coming with the breakfast.

The Buffet was thoughtfully and internationally laid out.

Another best is that they have a number of English speaking staff at front desk, curteous and efficient. I had buffet breakfast almost everyday when I was there (lost count!)

Can't speak of the breakfast, there are plenty of places to eat nearby.

Cons:
-I bought the most expensive room in the hotel for 1 night.

The wifi was extremely weak and speed was slow so i tried the lan and it just didnt connect.

Things that stopped me from rating the hotel higher: The wifi signal was terrible in my room, and the internet very slow (by China standards) even with a good signal/wired; The buffet breakfast was priced far higher than the quality of the food; The room service options weren't very good, and again priced higher than what you'd expect; I found the room to be a bit hot.

- some chinese female receptionist are a little rude and cannot provide you with good service +lack of english
-internet is quite slow and not accessible in restaurants and other public areas in the hotel
-by my experience all rooms are smoking allowed.

There were stains in my drinking glasses.

Secondly, when I lifted up the toilet set cover, I see dark yellow urine stains on the seat.

My conclusion is both the toilet and shower walls are not routinely cleaned.

The bathroom, loo and shower were in a glass box, with glass dividing walls, which, in the dim lighting I did not see and on arrival, crashed into the glass wall.

The adults enjoyed the egg station and the kids loved the bakery items.

The breakfast choice is great for local or Japanese less for westerners

The breakfast was nice with a wide selection which can satisfy most people.

but a good and clean place with a nice breakfast.

Breakfast was varied with Western and Chinese options on the menu.

The standard rooms were spacious and very clean and lots of variety at the buffet breakfast.

The food at the breakfast and dinner buffet was just adequate, nothing spectacular with room for improvement,

Really fantastic location with all sorts of public transport available.

Location is beside the train station and also there are plenty of taxis which are not expensive by Western standards.

It is a pity for me, because before the the hotel was just a right place for me due its location and services,

This is a very nice hotel with a very convenient location, only a 5 minute walk from the Dalian train station.

although rather Japanese- oriented, the location smack in the middle of town is fantastic.

It's about as centrally located as you can get.

The location of the hotel is great, it is within walking distance to shopping center and restaurant, the room is clean and big, it has two full sized beds and LCD television.

There is also a wholesale centre near the railway station called Da Chai Shi.

Just in the city centre with train station over the street and surrounded by many shopping malls or restaurants.

Due to my business nearby area and overall location is nice - near train station and market, I normally was staying in Ramada Plaza and was quite satisfied with everything.

It's a short stroll from the Dalian train station and the chingway.

Near the train station and in front of Victory Plaza, nice place too see people's living, with street market, food sellers, and shopping malls.

What I enjoy most is the buffet with the Indian food and the piano at the entrance.

The breakfast buffet was simply excellent.

We are a group of 11 people and came over to the Terrace cafe for a buffet BBQ.

Breakfast was amazing , helpful front desk since I had lot of queries (as first time in China) .

We were then told that the extra breakfast is 80rmb.

There is a main restaurant, a bar that serves a buffet and an Indian ala carte menu and a nice spa with affordable services.

the breakfast and lunch buffets were also quite worthwhile.

Great experience and amazing services, very kind people, great food and also city, best city in China, sea food is good, hotel is offering all that you need and personnel are speaking english in a very good way, breakfast is excellent also, you can find all that you want
