We booked a Superior Double City View x 3 nights and were treated well during our stay.

There is a pool table in the basement we had fun using and a wicked city view on the roof!

The room was bright and spacious with great views over the city out to the mountains, the bed was easily the most comfortable hotel bed I've slept in anywhere in Asia.

Room was spotless with an incredible view of the city.

Every floor has a balcony for smokers and the roof top offers panoramic view of the city .

They have beautiful views of the city from their roof top and also offer free use of their pool table for when you have extra time on your hands.

Firstly, the room is very clean, lovely and spacious and boasted a delightful view of the city (for inquiring minds, our room was on the 2nd floor with two double beds and a balcony).

We stayed in room 302, it is at the back of the hotel and has amazing panoramic views of the city, probably the best view we have had from a hotel room.

We ended up extending our stay at this hotel, we had a comfortable double bedroom with a nice view of the city for a very good value.

Barking dogs at night and workers next door in the early morning.

It was one without a window (just one small to the floor above the door).

No air con and the fan had to work pretty hard to keep the room cool especially as there are no windows to the outside, just one above the door which opens into the hallway.

Don't forget to turn off the lights in the hallway if you want to sleep (there's a glass window above the door).

On compliant is one night we could hear next door or upstairs being loud.

There is one thing must be improve is the wifi so weak , my bf always open the door to get the wifi.

For some reason some guests were stupidly loud (shouting at the top of their voices, slamming doors, and this was at all times of the day, 6am was the worst one) it got better the second night and to an extent not the hotels fault.

Somestimes it is a little bit to loud, when other people close the door or speaking in the floor.

You can be waken up by your neighbour closing their door or flushing their toilet in the middle of the night.

But the most important thing is the family who own this hotel are the friendliest and wonderful family.

A very good small hotel in Da lat run by a lovely family who couldn't do enough for you.

However, the highlight of this hotel is the owner Viet and his wonderful family.

The family were more than welcom to help us with any question we had.

Amazing owners, spotless room, very convenient bed if you want to sleep like a baby;) the owners speaking perfect english.

One evening we were even invited to share a cake for the daughter’ birthday - you feel so welcomed, and enjoy all comforts.

Mattress was superb, I slept like a baby there!

and on top, you get to meet their adorable precious daughters.

The hotel is owned by a nice Vietnamese couple who have the cutest, most well-behaved little girl.

We annoyingly booked a room online for three people and when we arrived in the early hours just as the sun was rising we were greeted by a rude man who loved to use a stern "WAIT" on us like we were children.

Their two girls are just as nice and the youngest one is almost the cutest and most smiling girl in town.

The room was clean, as well, as the bathroom.

We had to bang on the door to be let in at 11 after trying to find somewhere to eat as we arrived late.

but if you ask them that you will arrived late from an activity, you need to ring the bell and they will come and open the door for you.

It is situated on the Main Street so it can be noisy in the room, and there is a ridiculous "karaoke" bar a few doors down that's quite loud!

I came back one day and the door was unlocked

our motorbikes were stored in the building next door during nightime.

The shower had multiple jets and the top floor has a nice jacuzzi and sauna, which is conducive to socializing with fellow travelers.The only reason we moved the next day to Dreams 3 down the street was because of construction noise next door.

She seems genuinely interested in her guests and of course is a ready mine of local information.

If you are looking for an extra treat, ask the owner to set you up for a full day motorbike road with Joseph and friends through the local countryside - best $US35 we ever spent!

The delightful Mrs Dung even dug our a special bottle of local honey when my 15 year old enquirer if there was any honey; he was very happy!

I am vegetarian and she prepared lots of local fruits and nice omelette for my breakfast.

We got good advice for local shopping and eating and they also arranged a motorbike rental at "normal" prices and an excellent, basically new Honda Airblade.

Breakfast is VERY good w variety of fresh fruits, bread, cheese, local jam, eggs to order and some super bacon or ham.

Perfect location: main road (easy to find for taxi), not too far from market, close to local restaurants and a few bars.

Also, they booked private transport for us to Pongour and Elephant falls which was £1,000,000 VND and the local tours wanted £1.3mil so very happy with that.

I also rented out a scooter from the hotel for local sight seeing which was reasonable and in better condition than some others that I had used before.

The large communal style breakfast here is legendary and I shall certainly miss the very crispy and freshly cooked bacon served each morning together with the fresh local fruits.

She also helped us out in communicating with e local pharmacy.

It was more than we could possibly eat and all bought that morning from the local market.

The service by the owner and the two ladies was exceptional, they helped us with any queries such as finding good local places to eat, organising an airport shuttle to pick us up and also served a delicious breakfast with coffee,rolls, eggs, ham, bacon and plenty of delicious fruits (including mango, yum!).

Convinient location with a 5-10 min walk to the night markets and good local food options everywhere.

I would recommend taking a local bus out to elephant falls and having lunch just outside it, roast pork for £1!!

She helped with local advise and helped us hire motorbikes.

Location is OK, 7 min walk to the market in the city center (also the bus stop for the local buses is there).

Her local knowledge gets you to the favourite places in Dalat and surrounds and her networking of businesses gets you the best price.

but changes to more of a noisy nightclub at 8.30pm as  suddenly all the tables are reserved, and a DJ appears.

The air conditioning unit was quite loud which wasn't ideal.

Leaving, I’d booked a flight to Hue from Da Lat’s airport, Lien Khuong.

but better book in advance, as the hotel was full when we were there.

The hostess gave us helpful information, aided with booking (good) trips.

We booked a bus from Dalat to Mui Ne through the hotel, the booking went hassle free

The hotel owner also advised us on getting to our next destination and booked flights for us very cheaply.

The first place I’ll look to book if I’m ever back in the city.

We had no place booked and our motorcycle driver from the bus station brought us here.

Hotel can help book transportation to and from airport as well as any tours you’d like to do.

I booked superior double room and it was huge.

and Mrs Chung was amazing with helping us book Travel in Vietnam!

We booked in for 4 nights and ran away after the first night.

I love the room with balcony, there's a couch in the room where you can lie on and read a book or overlook the street.

will we stay again: We are already booked for next year!

All the staff were so helpful in booking tours for us and our bus trip to Mui Ne.

The receptionist helped with booking of a bus to Mui Ne and we also rented a scooter from the hotel without any problems.

They can also book a bus shuttle back to airport for you for 40,000k vnd.

As we were not going to be spending much time there in our four day stay, all we were looking for was a comfortable and clean room, a reasonably quiet location and a good breakfast.

The breakfast is excellent and homemade on the spot, the rooms spotlessly clean (far better than the 5 star place we stayed in previously).

Loved staying at this hotel, price was very good, rooms very clean and environment super nice, Mrs Dung is best host , conveniently located.

Has double windows in the front rooms, so this is a rare case where one can get a street view with the window closed with no street noise.

Although in a noisy part of town, the double glazing minimised road noise.

We were initially put into Dreams 3 which did not have a bed for my daughter and was close to the road so it would have been very noisy at night.

Only downside were the noise from the street and in the hotel itself which could be heard because auf thin walls.

The windows are all double glazed so despite facing the road we heard no street noise.

but we rarely turned it on even with the window shut to block out the street noise.

Joseph offers excellent motor bike tours around Dalat and the surrounding countryside !

Mrs Dong and all the staff were so lovely and helped to arrange a trekking tour for us which was difficult given the period of Tet.

but this hotel was recommended by our tour company so we gave it a try.

Totally recommend the hotel and the tour.

We could not have found such a trip looking at a tour operator shop.

Mrs Dung is always available to make your stay special, from arranging transfers, arranging easy rider motorbike tours, cooking breakfast, doing washing and greeting you on every return with a smile and personal chat.

She arranged a city and a countryside tour with a fantastic guide, Joseph, who spoke excellent English and was a wealth of information on Vietnam's history as well as it's political and religious history.

June will arrange anything you need, tours and transfers.

The whole 4 days including accommodation, breakfast, day tours and flights to Hue, cost us less than $550AU!

Always there day and night,  always smiling, always ready with advice and help with transfers and tours.

The owner speaks good english and was helpful in arranging to be picked up for tours.

They were very helpful and recommended the canyoning tour with phat tire ventures (including 10% off) which was a brilliant tour.

The staff was extremely friendly and helped me with local food and sightseeing options.

Also the hotel recommended we contact Mr. Joseph as a tour guide and motorcycle driver.

The rooms are large, comfortable and air conditioned, the breakfast is the best in Vietnam, and Ms. Dung and her staff are informative and helpful with whatever you need, be it transfers to/from the airport, tours, bus arrangements, airline tickets, changing dollars to dong, etc.

We have stayed at the dreams hotels on many occasions ,Mrs Dung is the perfect host and will help you with anything, the rooms are good, the prices are good, my no1 place to stay in Dalat, Get Mrs Dung to arrange a tour of the area, either on motorbike, or in a vehicle if there is a few of you

Service was great and they recommended great tour options.

Although the street out front is busy and noisy, the double glazed windows kept out the noise.

but when you shut the windows the noise is not a problem at all.

but was undisturbed as the windows were double glazed.

Windows effectively deal with traffic noise, there was even a bath!

I stayed in a superior double with street view to start and also a room with no real window after extending for three nights.

Even with the double pane window, you can still hear the noise.

Window looks into a closet so not much light.

The curtains are not all that good : part of them collapsed suddenly on my final night.

Traveling SE Asia , many rooms have no window.

30$ for a room without window to the exterior (just a ventilation shaft) is not an honest price in Dalat.

The extractor fan in the bathroom did smell (don't know how)

but if it is out of season make sure to check the temperature of your room as ours was freezing and we had to switch.

however, there's a foul smell from the toilet and the light is on by sensor, it automatically off when there are no movement detect.

though the room was small with no fan or air conditioner it was still comfortable enough.

The room was very clean, large enough and full of light.

The best Hostel In our 10 days trip in Vietnam, Nice clean rooms, Good breakfast, We arrived late 23.00 and they had the dinner waiting for us, excelent service, Booked 2 tours with them and went very well, the couple that run the place speak english.

The room was very clean as was the rest of the hostel, we were on the 3rd floor so the lift was especially helpful, you don't often find one in the smaller hostels.

The staff is super friendly the rooms are clean and the free breakfast and free family style dinner with happy water (rice wine) really was a great bonus.

The private rooms were clean and comfortable and exactly what you'd expect from a hostel.

We were greeted by puppies as well which is a complete bonus as an animal lover :) the beds are great and the shower room is clean.

As a summary, we had a nice affordable clean room & services offered by a friendly staff.

Cheap breakfast, delicious coffee, and very clean rooms.

However the room just stunk of damp and there was only one very tiny window on the wall that let air in.

We were also unlucky that the guests next to us decided to smoke inside the room, so our room smelled of cigarettes all the time - we even let management know

The unpleasant smell of the room is understandable given the amount of people sharing the room.

Our private room smelt a bit iffy which was the only downside,

but this room was very damp and had a thick velvety blanket as a cover.

As for the kitchen, it was nothing short of disgusting.

Only improvement is the room was slightly damp.

However, having damp and smelly bedsheets are unacceptable.

The bathroom on the first floor is disgusting.

but you cannot overlook the fact that its rooms are mouldy, the toilet/shower (1 for 10) is dirty and has a foul smell.

Every night and morning we were awoken by dogs barking, a baby crying, and the drains occasionally making weird, obnoxious noises, plus the windows had no curtains so it was exceptionally bright.

but they used a lot of air freshers to cover any smells.

We waited in a coffee house until 7am when we guest someone would be awake at Green City Hotel.

The hotel seems to allow guests to smoke and the ventilation is such that smoke gets into your room and all over the corridors.
