My family was very happy with how clean our room and bathroom was.

As mentioned the room was large and clean, with a really great shower and a tiny Japanese-style bathtub I tried out.

even though i think i could save more money eating outside, food was good,  room was super clean and very spacious room.

The cleaning is above the standard with towel is clean enough.

To-Gather Kitchen is as cozy and relaxed  buffet style restaurant serving cuisines from around the world, including Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Malaysian, Vietnamese, Italian and more.

We also opted in for the breakfast buffet which had a mix of western and asian food.

The staff were very helpful all the time and recommended us the best way to get around and suggested some restaurants as well.

I had dinner at the hotel’s buffet restaurant and it was excellent.

Across the street is a Carefour, McDonald's and Starbucks.

Across the street is a 24hr Carre Four grocery, McDonalds and Starbucks.

Within walking distance of Chaing Kai Shek Memorial and Longshan Temple, close to shops and restaurants.

However, you can walk 20m to National Music Theatre area, walk 17m to LongSun Temple and some other night market, walk 10m to Taipei City University, and 5m to many eateries right behind the hotel.

I cannot imagine any guest not being extremely pleased with the food, service, or ambience.

The breakfast was also excellent - good mix of eastern and western food.

Breakfast buffet offers a variety of foods and they're all tasty!

What was even better was the breakfast food: fresh French bread, soba noodles, dim sum, fruit, and specialty coffees, to name only a few.

The rooms were spacious, housekeeping was diligent, and all in all, this hotel was a great stay and excellent value.

Nearby has no breakfast joints so its best you book rooms with breakfast.

Rooms, while standard, are clean and quiet even if our floor was quite full.

Rooms are quite big and especially the shower !

Staff at the front desk was extremely helpful with our many queries, from extending our stay, to cutting some of our larger bills and just general tourist advice.

Hotel staff was very friendly and always there to assist

We would recommend to anyone visiting Taipei and staff was incredibly helpful.

Check-in was prompt, courteous and efficient.

The establishment was gracious and accommodation.

The hotel people are nice and helpful as a whole.

I had a number of interactions with the front desk, all very positive.

The hotel's staff are all very friendly and responsive.

Now I shall list the positives:
First, the staff is bilingual, helpful, professional, and ALWAYS makes an effort to inform, solve problems, and make the stay perfect.

The bell boy waited to take our bags straight back off us outside the spa.

staffs were friendly and house keeping is great too.

Great place to stay, staff very helpful and friendly, definitely will come back again in the near future.

We enjoyed our buffet breakfasts in the Brasserie Restaurant on both mornings.

Hotel even stop buffet service to prevent d spread of Covid 19.

even though they have stopped the breakfast service.

The delicious pineapple tarts from Shi Jia (better than Chia Te, in my own opinion) is also 2mins' walk from the hotel.

Breakfast is good with plenty of choice, also diner at the hotel can be recommended!

More importantly breakfast place is nice and best food so far, I wish I woke up earlier to enjoy it longer.

There are many different food taste cross the street, the buffet breakfast in Landis is also very good.

They still address hotel guests with surnames and breakfast is delicious.

The hotel is lovely, the breakfast is great my kid loved the mini chocolate muffins and the chocolate croissants.

Opt to have breakfast included, it's top-rate,

but the dishes that are available are delicious.

Breakfast service is like Michelin stars restaurant during breakfast!

Breakfast has a lot of choices, western and Asian.

Very thing is good except their buffet breakfast.

Every detail was thought out from the bell boys to the quaint upscale breakfast counter and fast check-in service.

However the Landis, from its Art Deco exterior to the luxurious rooms, truly deserves its claim to be one of Taipei's top hotels.

Now that is what I call civilised and sophisticated.

The suite is nice and the standard room is newly decorated.

The staff are dressed in older days gone by uniforms and this gives the hotel a different style and feel.

Most enjoyable is the Art Deco period architechure of the property which is my personal favourite style of architecture.

It checked all the boxes for travellers looking for a clean, elegant, conveniently-located place with all the creature comforts.

The newly refurbished rooms are perfectly designed to be both elegant and functional.

even though it’s more a business style Hotel.

The place looks so chic with a small space for a barista to make your drinks complimentary with any service there.

I liked that the rooms are big and designed nicely.

The Art Deco facade is pretty and the ininside welcoming and equally well appointed.

The decor of the hotel and it's rooms are nouveau art Deco, which I am a fan of.

They have several restaurants, two a bit more upscale and then the Brasserie which is French style very nice atmosphere and good food.

they keep the vintage french style in their Brasserie restaurant, which is rarely seen in Taiwan, and we love it!

They were very sweet in decorating our room with 2 lovely towel swans on our bed, understand that it was our wedding bridal shoot trip in taipei.

Rooms come equipped with i-Pads, flat screen TVs and tea and coffee making facilities.

The bathroom was a good size and had adequate facilities.

They have a gym on the roof that I took advantage every day

This really is a fine 5 star property with friendly staff, modern and clean rooms, a currency exchange facility offering decent rates (it is quite a pain for tourists to exchange currency in Taipei once you leave the airport), and superbly connected to the rest of Taipei via a 5 minute walk to Zhongshan Elementary School MRT station.

- ok breakfast (can select some dishes from menu + buffet);
- ok location (close to Zhongshan elementary school orange MRT line) and 2 km from Songshan airport;
- nice gym with sauna and meditation/yoga room;

Minuses:
- rooms facing busy streets are a bit noisy.

Fitness studio on the highest floor has a good view and plenty of equipment.

A truly 5 star hotel, excellent facilities, meals and staff.

There is gym, quite well equipped; you will need to climb one floor to get to.

The hotel has a great gym and as well a playing aerea for families with small kids.

equipments and food are at high standard.

Facilities and hotel is clean and organised.

The gym has good view and good equipment.

Good location near the subway, great buffet breakfast, nice gym, nice rooftop deck.

The check in was quick and attentive, the bell hop was prompt, the room comfortable, clean and well equipped.

The fitness center is well rounded and equipment is in good condition.

Slightly disappointed no swimming pool in the hotel.

Inside the hotel has gym room and sauna, no swimming pool.

Clean hotel offering minimal facilities (no swimming pool) and the restaurants' food is so-so.

Only disappointment was the mention of a whirlpool that did not exist (it was mentioned in the Hotel Book available in the room).

(Only thing missing was a swimming pool.)

Their whirlpool looks not really super-first class because it's not so nicely arranged and put into the floor.

but lack of bar & pool was a great disappointment and the general eating arrangement at present are very strange.

The only bummer for me is that they don't have a swimming pool.

No pool or lounge area to relax after a long day and not the best neighborhood to walk around in at the end of the day.

There was no swimming pool which was a slight let down.

The hotel has no pool, a smaller gym at the top floor.

It could be the perfect hotel if they had a swimming pool (again this is just personal preference).

The only down side is no pool, so a 4 or 5 night stay which we did, it was good.

The Landis also has several top-ranking restaurants, including the Tien Hsiang Lo, serving Hangzhou cuisine, and the French-style Brasserie.

Lastly, I would like to thank the restaurant staff during breakfast service.

The only limitation was the choice of restaurants at the hotel along with the in-room dining menu.

I walked to Little Tokyo and many other great restaurants and spots from here all down Linsen Road.

The lobby has a stunning cafe with fresh pastries every morning.

So many stores and restaurants close near the hotel.

Food outlets, convenience stores and a MUST for me - self-service laundromat - are all within walking distance of the hotel.

but there are plenty of food options nearby.

We had dinner in the hotel restaurant which was also very good.

Rooms are great and service and food as well.

although most of the food offered are on the repeat the next day, we did not mind it, We were always full after breakfast.

A lovely feature in the guest room was the colourful glass panelling separating the bedroom from the bathroom.

Not only that, he helped guide me with the amenities/Ipad functions in the room and even gave me some face masks to use during my time in Taiwan.

I was staying 2 nights in superior room, very spacious, nice bathroom with electronic toilet seat.

Room was very spacious and the kept clean.

The service was great and the room was awesome.

From day 1, I've been personally greeted by the staff and they practically remembered which floor and for some, even the room that I was staying in.

Lovely and courteous staff, comfortable and well equipped room.

The hotel is very pleasant, the rooms very clean and spacious.

Everyday they manage to clean my room spotless and efficiently, so if I decide to come back to hotel room early in the afternoon I know for sure the room done before I return.

Landis do renovated all rooms last year, so the new room are very comfortable and efficient for each corner.

The hotel is class as are the staff and the rooms are great.

The rooms might not be the largest or most modern in Taipei,

Pluses:
- very comfortable spacious rooms with some parts controlled by Ipad (though nobody said abt it when checking in - discovered myself only on the second day lol); would recommend to tell people upon check-in in abt this cool feature;
- control lighting , Ac and other options by Ipad.

On the other hand on our second night, we experienced an amazing, memorable dining experience at the Tien Hsiang Lo Restaurant - the food and service  at this Michelin Star establishment were outstanding.

Where are those excellent service and five star ratings?

The service I experienced at this hotel blew away my expectations and is the epitome of 5 star service.

It is difficuly to maintain the high grade service

All in all surprisingly 5 star service with a touch of good Taiwanese/Japanese hospitality.

On both occasions we found the hotel very welcoming, with excellent staff and good service who were attentive to all the members of our family.

Anyhow,  the service of this hotel impressed me.

There on business, high levels of service and pretty central to where I needed to be.

Landis group has always been known as their personal attentive services.

Housekeeping was exceptional in that they even replaced our towels during turn down service.

The customer service in this hotel is superb.

The room was always kept clean and the hotel people are very helpful and gave 5 star service.

I went to Les Suites Daan before checking in Landis where I could not sleep well due to smell of cigarettes.

The "minimum cleaning fee for smoking is NT $10,000" sign is not a deterrent.

The overall service is nice (they changed my room because I smelled cigarette in my first room),

very unpleasant experience terrible strong masking odor in rooms
check in the worst experience ever.

We reserved 4 rooms for our family and the room that i stayed in had problem with the shower head, the drainage was really slow and the bathroom smelled a bit.

The only down side is that both rooms smelled a bit  moldy and caused us allergy reactions.

The drain the tub was not flowing readily.

My non-smoking room used to be a smoking room in the past, I could smell.

The third room still had a mild waft of smoke

The pillow is a little smelly, and the hair dryer is terrible, I felt a burning sensation on the palm of my hand after blowing my hair for about 5~10 minutes!

Only minor issue is that it would have been nice for a dedicated smoking area inside the hotel instead of having to exit the hotel and face the main road each time you have to smoke.

The lady immediately contacted housekeeping to put a ventilator (or some air freshener machine) in the room to get rid of the smell.

The only thing I dislike is the ventilation, after bath or using toilet the hot air and smell will spread to the room.

On 2nd Day after day trip, our Grannies returned to room and were overwhelmed by choking ammonia smell.

I do not like carpets, and this had a carpet which smelt  for at least half an hour whenever the maid came in and did the hoovering and made all the dust fly up.

Drawbacks include a "sanitation filter" like smell in the hallway and the rooms

An endearing feature of the hotel is its friendly and helpful staff.

All the staff are friendly and welcoming.

Having forgotten my new LACOSTE jacket in the hotel, Fleur de Chine in the Sun Moon Lake region, Ms. Claire from the reception took it in her hands to get my jacket brought over overnight to Taipei. Ok

From the moment I checked in to when I left, the staff has truly made my experience exceptional and I will not hesitate to go back next time I visit Taiwan.

From frontdesk to resturant and concierge.

However, you will be warmly greeted upon reaching the hotel.

First time stay at Landis Taipei Hotel and I was very impressed by the staffs' working attitudes.

but its comfort, cleanliness and friendly staffs are more than enough to make you feel 5-starred!

but the management and staff deserve to be appraised.
