There was a translucent venetian blind and black out drapes.

You need to walk through the bar after being on the beach.

We enjoyed the bar for breakfast each morning and an after dinner drink each evening.

The main bar is a lively, friendly place, where I had the best mojito I have ever had, anywhere.

Great location, nice service, good bar, nice room service.

The the restaurant/bar area faces the ocean with beautiful views and great service.

The bar area is also very welcoming and the staff extremely friendly.

It is well located, a five minute walk from the picturesque old town with its streets packed with pintxos bars.

We didn’t use the bar again, because we preferred the privacy of our terrace,

Complimentary water every day in the room which had a mini bar, hairdryer and was a good large room with a small balcony.

but comfy hotel bar and a totally OK breakfast.

THE BREAKFAST & THE AFTERNOON BAR:
A true surprise - great breakfast to start the day, and in the afternoon a great bar and a way to wind down.

A 5 minute walk from the old town and the pinxtos bars.

Rooms include mini bar and kettle and water supplied daily.

This hotel was the perfect place to come back to after walking along the coast, climbing the hills, eating the food, visiting the galleries and museums or just having drinks in the many bars. Welcomed with a warm greeting after a long journey (we travelled from London by train to be more planet friendly and we were weary!)

Nice grabbing a glass of cava from the bar downstairs and taking it up to the room to enjoy the sunsets from our balcony.

Very good breakfast and the bar is lively with great service.

The only letdown was the demeanor of the bar staff, rather stiff and off-putting, a direct contrast to the other staff-- housekeeping, reception, concierge. Overall, we loved it here (10 nights!)

Service in the bar and lounge was very good and the prices were very resonamble given the stature of the hotel.

The hotel has a fantastic view of the bay so it is well worth booking a room with a sea view.

You can walk out the door to the sand and the hotel provides your beach towels.

My wife and I had a really nice 3-night stay at this hotel that's right on the beach in San Sebastian.

It is right across the boardwalk from the beach with amazing views.

Stayed here for our anniversary and had an amazing room overlooking the beach.

The rooms were very spacious, clean and of course the view of the bay of La Concha were amazing.

The Hotel Londres is set directly looking out over the beach at San Sebastián.

I spent a fantastic three nights here - room overlooking the beautiful view over San Sebastian's Concha beach.

Paying extra for a view of the beach is a must!

The beach was obviously right outside, and it was also an easy walk to the other beach Zurriola.

Hotel De Londres is in the perfect location on the beach with wonderful views.

Given that this is one of the most prestigious and popular hotel along the beach.

Visited San Sebastian for the First time and stayed at this four star Hotel right next to the beach.

First of the all, the location is perfect to access the entire San Sebastian concha as well as Old Town and both hills for hiking.

We have now visited this hotel on a couple of occasions and have not been disappointed.

The Hotel de Londres is at the best location in San Sebastian.

but the hotel staff was able to direct where to park (entry and exit is very tight for almost all garages we entered) but it was a very convenient location.

Feels historic and nostalgic place to stay, great position to explore San Sebastian

The hotel is in a perfect location to enjoy San Sebastian.

While I could say the location was perfect, just right along the beaches that offers fantastic view and the proximity to the old town (just 5 minutes walk away), the service level needs to improve maybe 2 - 3 notches.

The hotel location is great and you can walk everywhere.

We ate almost every meal at this location!

The only disappointment was the outdoor cafe on the promenade where we had a very poor and tasteless breakfast.

but internal soundproofing up and sideways in this old building is very poor.

Worst hotel meal in our entire stay in Spain-  everything about it was second or third class, starting from the poor quality glassware, cutlery and menu presentation.

He then jotted down our room number, handed over the key and walked away (look at other reviews - he’s been doling our this poor service for years).

However, the sonorous insulation of the room is poor, there is noise from the street and noise from the neighbours next door.

My sense is, including the tip in the bill, results in poor service.

However, Euro exchange rate was poor at the time of our visit!

.and the very poor shower in the bathroom.

If you want a cold shower, slooooow internet, poor service and an overpriced breakfast then we really recommend this place.

Had a very expensive room with sea view, BUT the Bathroom facilities were poor, tiny bath, dribbley shower, had to lean against the wall to get under the water!

I just feel that for a hotel with such a reputation, heritage, and obvious quality furnishings etc it was unacceptable to endure poor service as described.

An old tub and poor water pressure - bathroom gets 3 stars.

If not for the poor meal, it would get an excellent rating.

The bathroom, in our opinion, is a litle tired and the shower over the bath lacked pressure and was quite poor for a four star hotel at this price.

The only down side was very poor wi fi service which when travelling with teenagers is an essential element for some down time between coming back from the day's activities and heading out to dinner.

Our room was pretty poor for such an expensive place, cramped with a tiny window and constantly hot and stuffy.

Again, my main complaint about this hotel is the front desk---really poor service.

We ate a couple of nights in the restaurant and the menu was varied and good value for money, and of course the old town at night offers a wide variety of eating places and a brilliant atmosphere.

We also ate dinner in the hotel restaruant (La Brasserie) our first night and the food and service were both quite good.

although eating on the outside patio took forever.

The beds, including the sofa bed for our children, were very comfortable and we also enjoyed a delicious dinner one evening at their restaurant.

Staff were helpful eg in making restaurant reservations,

Dinner at the hotel restaurant was fabulous.

It took us more time to reach, which made us miss our dinner.

THE STAFF:
Excellent, attentive, accommodating, attention to needs, excellent communication, cannot say enough for the front desk, food/bar servers, room service staff, doormen, and Concierge all EXCELLENT.

Leire the concierge is super friendly and helped us plan a day out to another coastal area and booked table in a restaurant for us.

but one day (Sunday when it was raining and the big marathon was on) we ate in the hotel and watched all the runners go past.

Toiletries smelled and looked like Fabric Softener;

It is located in the historic part of Donostia….. minutes from a ton of restaurants offering the BEST tapas!!!

I did not pay for the breakfast, opting for the more economical cafe de la concha with a similar beach/water view.

But that would be our only ‘complaint.’ We can’t fault the food; breakfast/lunch/dinner were cooked or prepared to perfection.

A sea view room , immaculate shower room, a breakfast that had everything and the most charming staff from cleaners to the reception and restaurant.

What else worked:

Staff were attentive and helpful to call taxis and give information

The room, while 'in fact smaller than average, was well appointed and we had two sets of windows

What needs work:  

The city view is a massive construction site-we did know about this aspect of the City View

Room was wonderful with the most fantastic view.

The room was very spacious and well appointed for our 5 night stay.

The room was clean and housekeeping staff was incredibly nice.

The rooms are well equipped and clean and have an old worldly charm.

The room was spacious with 3 balconies, a comfortable king bed, and all the amenities you'd expect in the bathroom (including a toilet with a bidet).

The rooms are pretty, clean, and well-kept, with all the amenities.

The rooms are absolutely spotless just like the rest of the hotel.

The rooms were available to us earlier, which was very nice considering we had driven over 4 hours from the Madrid airport.

I would recommend a sea view room as the view is lovely all around the bay  and you can people watch.

but quick to freshen up the room the minute we went out, and super nice.

Other than that, I would stay here again with a sea view room.

If you do intend on stopping here, do book a sea view room.

We had sea view room, what a amazing view, never get bored looking at that.

We were so pleased we booked a sea view room.

We requested to be on a higher floor away from the elevator and luckily were able to switch to another sea-view room the next morning that was larger and had two balconies overlooking the Bay of Biscay and San Sebastian - amazing!

The ocean view rooms all front directly on to the beach and most have a small terrace/balcony.

It is an absolutely must to upgrade to a sea view room.

If your room has a sea view you'll be a happy camper.

Opt for the ocean view room, it will cost more

We got a room overlooking the beach, which is worth the extra cost.

In essence, if you can’t afford the ocean view rooms, nothing else justifies paying the high Hotel de Londres y de Inglaterra rates.

We chose the hotel and went for a city view room for three people (a double and an extra bed).

I would highly recommend a sea view room.

The staff was accommodating and very professional.

The staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Special praise is due to front desk staff member Zaki.

Everything is walkable and they will offer all kinds of recommendations and make reservations for you, if you'd like.

I needed the help of the concierge several times, both before and during our visit.

We were greeted with some pintxos and wine and that was a very nice touch.

The staff were very helpful and accommodating.

Staff was friendly, professional and very helpful.

The head concierge takes what's a good experience to an excellent one.

Luckily, there was a more senior staff that asked what items they were, before the junior staff CLEARLY remember that she receive the items from the shop.

Had a great experience at Venetian in the past.

but next time we'll stay at the Venetian where, in a similar suite type you have a dedicated check in and lounge access.

The simple fact that the Bellagio has FOUR major attractions alone (Conservatory, Fountain Show, World's Largest Chocolate Fountain, Fine Art Museum) makes it the single best memory-making resort in all of Vegas (with only Venetian/Palazzo and Mandalay Bay have convincing cases for challenging it in this category). .

Next time the Venetian will be our stay also our corporate stay as they have been very generous.

It was at a good location directly across the Venetian.

but the room we got was not as nice compare to Venetian my friends got.

We think it is now a better experience than the Venetian and for quality , equal to the Wynn

Hotel is centrally located on the strip and closer to Cosmo, Paris, Planet Hollywood and Venetian.

With this experience, save your money and go to the Venetian.

You might want to check hotel bookings.when I went online for reservations during two separate periods, I could get rooms at Bellagio and Venetian

We stayed here after staying at Wynn and Venetian and there is NO comparison to them…it is no where close to those upgraded modern suites.

but it doesn’t hold a candle to the Venetian.

My vanity was large enough to occupy all my cosmetics larger than the Venetian king suite that we stayed at during our last 3 nights in Vegas.

I would book at the Venetian or the Wynn next time and then just walk through the Bellagio to see the floral set up in the lobby because the hotel room is def.

The Venetian might have nicer standard rooms.

Bellagio has the classiest hotel in Vegas (Close to Venetian).

As far as location, Bellagio is prime walking distance to all casinos on on the strip.

Bellagio was the best so far, casino area was better than other hotels’ casinos and our room was very clean.

We enjoy the restaurants and casino on-site.

very clean and nice rooms, casino staff excellent and attentive, has a tram to get to the other properties close by, buffet and harvest were outstanding, the uber and taxi stand are easy to get too, if you want to go to shows at other venues.

Super friendly staff in all departments- have been staying here for over 20 years and have been to every casino on the strip.

We tried almost all of their restaurants in the casino.

The staff was very helpful, multiple options for food and the casino is super lively.

Had a great visit, first time staying here, check in was a breeze via the app and text, Room and Casino very clean, great stay.

Casino was fun clean and someone always asking if we wanted drinks.

I love the casino floor and the rewards people were very friendly.

The Bellagio casino was highly enjoyable and we personally found it to be the best in Vegas.

but it was extremely clean and had some beautiful views.

Hotel was clean and rooms as well, and the Christmas decoration was amazingly beautiful.

and an early Christmas gift, we received a wonderful welcome and experienced friendly, helpful service, beautiful, clean surroundings, a great location on the ‘strip’ and felt like it was an amazing ‘ahhh’ experience.

The area was kept very clean and didn’t reek of smoke

Keep an eye on your credit card when you’re done!

I then requested the VIP charge be removed and I would not partake of it.

She assured me that she would fix it and that my key card would still work until 1:30 pm.

We spoke with management and nothing was done besides him offering a $200 meal credit and a free night as if that was supposed to fix what happened.

The response was no and rude 

The resort fees on our confirmation are down as 45$ per night inc tax when when we checked out they charged us 51.5$ per night when I asked the receptionist again she was just rude 
I get it’s supposed to be a 5 star hotel and i wouldn’t mind paying it

Me and the wife only gambled at the  Bellagio and spent over $5,000 and they didn’t even cover the $384 in room charges.

I had already had $100 in resort credit for the stay, then when we returned to the desk a third time, they assured me they’d credit me 100 more dollars for all the hassle.

Instead they get swept up in their system and I was charged $188 for this service which included FedEx back to the UK.

Also, the valet get very pissed off if you don’t tip cash - I don’t carry it so I had to explain that I put it on the card, and boy did I get an earful.

Before we left I called to ask for update for our room as we paid premium surcharge for booking early.

If you want coffee in the morning you are left with room service that has a minimum $200 charge (ouch) or $75 charge if you want it in to go boxes.

We paid for parking at check in was told we can use room card for self parking

Long line to check in (they said its always that way) extra resort charge that we didn't know about until we checked in.

Everything was at a charge ( no free water in room) had to queue for about 20 min to check in.

If you’re coming for the gambling…there are no progressives on most card games and I played a ton of slots over the three days I was there and the biggest payout I hit on a slot machine was $400.

•	A second dog fee will be charged at check-in if bringing two dogs.

Even to ask for an empty plate they would charge a fee of $9.5.

Staff is friendly, helpful and very professional.

Staff was friendly, room service was great.

Don’t stay at the Bellagio if you’re looking for efficient or friendly customer service because you won’t find it here.

From the friendly staff and dealers to the decor, Christmas decorations were absolutely amazing.

People who work there are all friendly and respectful.

Great hotel to stay its in the middle of the strip you have walking distance to almost everywhere, the bed and the pillows are the best to all my past experiences at Vegas, the staff its friendly, Yes I would recommend to friends and family.

There is another very expensive bar that serves small bites,

Food there is only extremely fancy and expensive.

Only downside is that you pay for a Resort fee that does not includes anything much

The prices for buy in if you gamble are high so you should be prepared for that and the price of a cup of coffee is about $7 so definitely expensive.

It would normally not be a place I would stay due to cost and with my kids,

In addition to that I ordered tea (+ many other things) at the (extremely overpriced) creperie downstairs and received hot water instead (which I only found out about after getting to the room carrying a bunch of food and drinks).
