We’ve stayed in the Venetian hotel Las Vegas and this hotel was another level.

Ikos is perfect choice if you are looking for a hotel with combination of all inclusive and menu restaurants and vila type accomodation in Europe,

It’s so nice being in an all inclusive where they have such a good selection of international drinks… Corona, Provence rose, disaronno  amaretto to name a few.

We have been to Dubai several times and this hotel matches and even surpasses the best ultra all inclusive hotels there, it’s that good.

All non-motorized sport is included in the all inclusive.

Overall it was the best all inclusive we have ever been to and would definitely go back.

This is a great hotel and the all inclusive regime here is outstanding.

From Mr.Spanos the general manager to Apostolos Mintiouris the guest relations manager on hand 24/7 Not to mention the waiters at the seven, some Michelin star rated restaurants and fantastic service guaranteed with this Ikos Dassia holiday, all inclusive, not one euro to pay for anything the entire holiday.

I wouldn’t normally go all inclusive as usually the food/service isn’t very good and it’s repetitive

Ikos was definitely a step above for an all inclusive resort.

As the culinary landscape evolves within all-inclusive resorts, the role of the Executive Chef becomes more compelling.

We stayed for 10 days and have to say all inclusive has never really been our thing

It really is all inclusive and generously so.

This hotel is amazing, when they say all inclusive they really mean it.

If you want all inclusive at its best this is the place to come.

Such a lovely touch eating a la carte in an all inclusive resort .The restaurants are all managed really professional and the food was high quality, fresh and beautifully presented.

All inclusive was ok & nice not to have to wear a wristband, quality of wine wasn’t amazing,

We also took full advantage of the free shuttle service to and from Corfu town and enjoyed the dining out experience at Agora as part of the AI.

We have stayed in a number of all inclusive hotels and this resort truly took the all inclusive concept to a new level with an extensive wine list and impressive food served in every restaurant.

As an "all-inclusive" resort, Ikos Dassia was great.

This was a sort of added extra holiday booked quite late

Thank you for a lovely stay at the resort  it was a fantastic family holiday and we appreciate the time and work you and the staff go to in providing this experience.

This was our 2nd visit to Dassia and our 9th IKOS holiday.

This meant that we lost enjoyment of half of our holiday.

We had previously stayed at the Ikos Aria so we had booked up again with Ikos as soon as we came back from holiday as we had such a great experience (5 star+).

People - keep hold of the ones we mentioned as they save you I'm sure from worse customer reviews

 

Although these are predominately my views some of the comments around service and the general wear and tear of the resort were reflected in conversations with other guests we met whilst on holiday

 
Overall

Referring back to the original statement "A World of Unconditional Luxury".

but they all went out of their way to make it a memorable holiday for us and are a credit to the company.

We also visited IKOS Aria 2 years ago and again had a wonderful holiday.

This holiday has changed my mind and I cannot wait to rebook.

We stayed at The Dassia in October 2022 and could not fault the holiday at all and we gave it a 5* Rating.

I had a really special holiday and I know you will to if you give it a try.

We had a brilliant holiday at the IKOS Dassia, fab hotel and wonderful staff.

I would usually travel to the Caribbean for a luxury beach break,

He went above and beyond for us, and made our holiday unforgettable.

When we arrived on Sunday, there were a lot of families with children staying at the Resort, which was not an issue, as there were plenty of places for adults only,

There were enough adult only areas for us to enjoy and it was out of school holidays so not too many children.

We love Dassia so much that this time we treated our children and their partners so it was a truly memorable stay.

Jet2 staff were amazing and we had to off board, miss the flight and visit the airports dr. Baby had congestion on her lungs as well as some other things going on.

I travelled with my family (2 adults and 2 young kids) and stayed in a Panaromic Junior suite in July 2023.

There is an excellent mix of quiet areas for couples travellling together whilst ensuring there are plenty of fun filled and busy activities to do for children, mams, dad's and grandparents.

Highly recommend the Wonderfin swimming lessons; Philippos is an exceptional instructor, great with kids and really excites children for playing in the water and learning to swim

but we saw families and children having a good time with inflatables.

We came with our 2 children aged 1 and 3 it was our first visit to Dassia.

The jewel in the crown was Esmeralda, a stunning Greek girl with a big smile, this girl was on it!

We appreciate the childcare provided by the kids club.

There are plenty of pools and activities for the children.

but those flavours aren’t going to appeal to all children.

The pools have floats available for the kids to use,

If you have kids, there is plenty of things to enjoy, there are more than welcome in any restaurant,

The weather at the end of September was perfect (80F or upper 20C and sunny) with very little children.

A big thank you to Denisa Luca, who helped us move room to suit our needs and helped our daughter  and her fiance who arrived later in the holiday have a lovely room in the same building we were.

Ive attended almost every show at the theatre either with my grandchildren or with my wife and I’ve never seen or heard of any more professional, enjoyable holiday shows ever.

My only reservation regarding Ikos Dassia, is that there were simply too many little children !!

They had the most comfortable sunbeds and the pool and towel assistants were always on hand to ensure that you were never without fresh towels and to move your sunbed so that you were able to catch all the rays.

Our favourites at that bar were Marina and Ronaldo they knew exactly what we wanted.

All staff and I mean all cannot do enough for you from the lovely French member of staff on the beach., Marina bringing drinks to the beach and Realdo they really go the extra mile to help and assist you.

Cocktails on the beach were super and plentiful (and strong) thanks to Nicholas, Marina and Sofia.

We couldn't do everything we wanted to in the 13 days we were there… But many of us enjoyed a private dinner on the beach, the kids club, the dine out option, the free shuttle to town and even hired a yacht for a half day adventure out on the Ionian Sea.

The private yacht hire was an amazing experience which we would highly recommend.

We chartered a boat with friends from Vision Yachting based out of Gouvia Marina.

That said, there are a few people that we feel deserve a very special mention:

Georgia - our little ray of sunshine by the Sky pool/beach.

Nicoletta, Marina and Giannis from the big Bar were especially nice and attentive as well.

From Athina on Reception to Marina and Dimitra in Favours Buffet; from Konstantinos in Italian restaurant Fresco to Spiros ever ready with his buggy, from Politerpos in Anaya, the Asian Restauarant to Jenny on the Guests Relations desk, from our cleaner Loretta to Giannis in the diving school we found staff endlessly willing to help and look after us faultlessly.

We tried out the Corfu town dine-outs and loved the marina setting of Naok Azur (no kids menu,

but a special mention to the ever smiling Georgos at the beach, a ray of sunshine and so helpful.

We went to Corfu Town for the evening which was beautiful, we chose to eat at one of the restaurants paid for by the hotel at the
Marina, the setting was amazing.

Marina, Dora, Iliana who looked after us at Flavours the buffet restaurant and Leonidas who made our special filter coffee each morning.

The included 2 hours sunset cruise was relaxing and went up to Corfu town and around the worlds largest yacht that happened to be moored in the bay !

We hired a yacht for the day & went to Paxos island which was also very beautiful.

I would also like to highlight Elena (buffet, Sea) and Marina (reception, Sea) for always being helpful and smiling.

but the gloss was taken off it with the poor Deluxe experience and the indifferent concierge service.

The towels themselves were in poor condition and many of them were stained despite the fact they would have been washed.

This is too late to eat in my opinion and I think the reason for our poor experience in Anaya.

The only negative we had was the checkin experience which I can only describe as poor and totally unexpected due to having read previous reviews.

Quality of towels was poor and there were regular missing items.

There is poor communication on website on how to even reach someone to be able to get things booked and the app isn’t always updated.

- beach lounging options were limited and poor.

We had one of the  standard double room with an inland view, It was very small in both the bedroom and the bathroom, we just felt for the amount you pay to stay & the reputation of the hotel it was quite poor.

- the rooms to the front of the site are a real issue, when we arrived we had a room above reception and facing the road, I had the worst nights sleep in years, I sleep in probably 70 hotels a year and the sound proofing is poor which meant every scooter beep and passing car horn (into the early hours).

The towel service around the pool was poor.

but frustratingly I had to head off back to the room to clean everything as he was not quite trained well enough as at any other 5 star you would expect them to offer to launder the wine drenched clothes/bag, check the electricals were ok, offer to replace anything that wasn’t etc etc, so basically we had many little blips but that’s NOT the issues it’s how it’s then dealt with at the time and we don’t want every time to have to deal with managers, raise issues when it makes us so uncomfortable and pestering our poor concierge with said issues when they shouldn’t be happening at all or could/should have been dealt with at the time.

but it was very poor, with other guests also commenting too.

all inclusive hotels sometimes have poor food options, not IKOS, whether it was the buffet restaurant flavours or any of the multiple a la carte restaurants the quality was superb.

Only thing that could be improved is the entertainment at the Teatre which was quite poor.

The TV's in the room have a poor choice of channels, and this meant that when weather meant we had limited options for what to do - we couldn't settle down for a movie night in the room.

The thought of over-crowded beaches, poor food and service always put us off.

Restaurants are exceptionally good aside from Flavours which we found disappointing and actually quite poor at dinner - only used it once in the evening due to a mix up with restaurant reservations, it's great for a buffet breakfast.

We had lovely food, fresh hummous, bread and other delights from the Restaurant.

The food - brilliant in all the a la cartes except the Grill.

Food was sublime every evening and the staff were all professional and friendly at all times.

The beach, the resort, the food and drinks were all on par with London standards.

The wine tasting experience was a delight and the supply of wine at dinner was always on point.

We used virtually all of the a la cartes and the food and service were generally excellent,

Shockingly divas after a few amazing cocktails which we did work our way through!

It was very clear that she was very hesitant to blame Ikos for causing food poisoning.

When we booked the Ikos Aria we were able to book a different restaurant at 7.30pm every night, in advance.

We did the eat out option at the fish restaurant and the food was lovely

however have meals in the Corfu restaurant Kerkyra and the grill house.

The restaurants are all fantastic, and the food is truly delicious.

The several resteraunts that are available on site are staffed with very professional  young people, who were so polite and considerate.

Food was brilliant, swimming and crèche of a very high standard.

We are in most of the restaurants, all were very good.

We had a wonderful time at Ikos Dassia, enjoying the hotels very friendly staff, great restaurants, very clean hotel, great gardening, beach and pools.

The earliest we were able to eat all week was at 2100, not a huge problem for us,

One thing I would advise is get the App and book the three restaurants you can before you arrive.

Thanks also to Thalia from Kerkyra Restaurant, Flori and Vasilis from Anaya Restaurant for their wonderful food and service.

The beach side staff were amazing and the service throughout was great.

The swimming pools were excellent and the service was good

This is not the individuals fault on duty as it was nigh impossible to manage both and deliver great service.

Final shout out to Paulo, one of the theatre waiting staff, he does a great job and despite all the guests he must serve, he remembered our room number and drinks order without us having to tell him, that is top class service!

Absolutely amazing service, wonderful staff and such a lovely hotel.

Her manner and professional level of service was second to  none and that compares to anyway my wife and I  have travelled throughout the world.

Challenge was we struggled to get into restaurants early and concierge service wasn’t as good as previous customer experience.

The service around the pool, beach and room service all top notch.. 
Our suite was a good size, comfy bed, large balcony, mini bar etc 
The only weeny niggles - lighting in the bedroom was pretty dark even with all lights on.

The fact that you have a la carte, breakfast lunch and dinner available to you at 6 restaurants on site, all of which are fine dining standard, with all wines, soft drinks and spirits on top of this, with a free mini bar and room service and beach waiter service for food and drinks all day as well, is simply incredible.

We also appreciated the turn down service.

From the moment you walk into the building you are met with the most beautiful, hard working service professionals in the industry.

Plenty of wine choices  with your meals, great service and drinks in all the bars.

The service throughout the hotel was amazing, the food was divine (quality over quantity).

They are continually striving to make sure you have the luxury service they deliver.

but if you are considering booking this hotel just do it, no other hotel I have ever been to offers this level of service.

The warm welcome, smiles and genuine desire to make your stay as pleasurable as possible was consistent with the other Ikos Resort that we had stayed at in Halkadiki, Greece, Ikos Olivia.

but in the evening there was live music in the bars and the staff were entertaining in themselves.

We were greeted by Anastasia Sukretna who looked after us so well last year and she was such a pleasure to be around and treated us so so well.

The hotel kindly upgraded us in order to move us, fine, lovely.

Upon arrival we were checked in by our concierge who told us that

Thank you for your kindness and hospitality throughout and apologies for the nightly order of cheesy chips with houmous!

Other guests at the hotel were also ill. A couple that we met with their young son told us that he had vomited multiple times in the reception area of the hotel and another family that we met around the resort told us that their child and nanny also had food poisoning.

although we already have a booking for Ikos Porto Petro - keeping my fingers crossed they have enough staff and restaurant availability.

but they were very happy when needing her assistance with the results.

I also would like to give special recognition to staff in Kerkyra - Chrisa and George mainly… and chef Andreas in Ouzo and everyone working in bar at sky reception.

The staff were very attentive and helpful the resort is beautiful

The performers are professionally trained performers and it shows.

A huge thank you to Ariadni and all the team at Dassia, we’ll definitely see you very soon!

All the staff are welcoming and professional in what they do and always have a smile on their faces.

We were greeted by Aria, our personal concierge who throughout our stay kept in touch and ensured that all of our needs were addressed and organised.

Our Top 3 would be Klay Talay (Asian food including Sushi/requires a booking on the day or day before), La Carreta (the Mexican a La Carte) and Mia Casa (the Italian on the El Dorado side/with interior resembling a Venetian street).

Food was fabulous especially at the MIa Casa Italian on the American side which has a Venetian theme.

The beach is amazing, plenty of lounges and Bali beds available and haven’t had a single issue of getting a Bali bed every single day during our stay.

Every day my friends and I were able to spend our day on the beach on a Bali bed.

The only other pool we used was the Gaviotas Swim-up Pool, which was rather jolly. Beach.

Suemy was amazing in the coctel class miriam she was great too the beach is amazing the resort beautiful l really recommended the food is amazing you really should come here l am having so much fun here.so beautiful

Anastacio at the beach has been fabulous helping us every day with our towels and beach beds.

Suemy’s beach service for drinks was always timely and she was super nice!

Suemy provided my wife and I excellent beach service.She has a very good sense of humour and is very detail oriented.

The beach was lovely and clean with more than enough sunbeds.

- I could relax on the Bali beds whilst my other half played all the pool and beach volleyball he desired, and we could both get involved in the likes of table tennis, cornhole and blackjack tournaments.

We had breakfast and lunch at the beach bar restaurant, and they were fantastic., Happy Holiday.

There are plenty of beach chairs and beds.

When it comes to beach service- Suemy, is nothing short of if a SIX STAR REVIEW!!!

From start to finish it’s been wonderful and relaxing Anastacio has been excellent and helpful to us, helped us with everything we requested nothing was too much hassle it’s been a perfect holiday 👍🏻♥️🏖

but the best part of the holiday by far, was the staff!

Room was amazing and the views unreal, would recommend 100% to everyone who is thinking of going to Mexico for a honeymoon or a special holiday.

Overall: It was an enjoyable vacation with plenty of scenery at the resort.

The seaweed was also so plentiful that you could enjoy capturing the sun rays while watching digger trucks drive up and down the beachfront, moving bags of seaweed that the 50+ labourers are shovelling on the beach in front of the hotel.

Amazing amazing staff - so friendly and welcoming we have had a wonderful experience - Ixchel in particular is just a ray of sunshine and made our holiday incredible.

Also, I saw sting rays, flounder and even barracuda with many other schools of fish within the resort beach.

We saw many different fish including a sting ray.

Un excelente servicio de todo el personal del Hotel 🏨👌🏻todos muy amables.

The beach is mostly soft sand and a safe swimming area has been created where there are some fish and occasional Rays to view if you snorkel.

However when you get a sun bed or one of the comfy Bali beds the beach and warm sheltered marina are heavenly.

We saw a number of colourful fish and a few rays, all within swimming distance of the hotel.

We saw stingrays, eagle rays, some nice fish and also turtles.

Sting ray in the waters and very large fish!!

Saw so many great fish including a manta ray.

Great place for chilling or doing,Friendly & very clean ,food & drinks amazing ,drinks serviced on the beach to your beds was great ,loads of wildlife ,snorkeling on reef was great,saw sting rays ,puffer fish& many more We hoped to go & do some trips out of resort

but we got beyond that by going to Marina a couple of days .
