And our best dinner we had in cosi come sei, venetian restaurant which is actually very close to the hotel, just go from the roundabout trough tunnel and on your left there is a small shopping centrum and upstairs is this gem.

We went bed and breakfast great options for breakfast and good choice!!

We had breakfast which was very good with plenty of choice, the hotel staff were very friendly and nothing was too much bother for them.

Breakfast was sufficient, cereals, seeds, dried fruit, fresh fruit, yoghurts, meats and cheeses, bread and the usual cooked food.

but they all go the extra mile- the breakfast staff provided churros for us when requested and they also put out a special cake for the Three Kings festival.

Breakfast was excellent as were lunches round the pool bar.

We booked breakfast a few times and it was nice and plentiful.

Taj Palace just across the road from the hotel on the right, Taj Palace in the Mogan Mall, 
Oscars for seafood, El Toro under the tunnel (right out of hotel) Wok Great Slow Boat Chinese Buffet upstairs at the back of the commercial centre.

but they were not also for a low floor we got floor 2,  breakfast in the hotel is lovely but do go bed and breakfast as it is 10 euros each to eat in hotel.

A short walk takes you to the bus station where you can pick up a bus to many places on the island.

About a 15 minute walk to the bus station for access to the whole island.

We bussed to Mogan and Playa d Ingles, the bus station a short walk from hotel.

Great location and outlook - close to ferry and the main beach area and not that far from main bus station - Will be back!

The bus station is about 15 minutes walk away - We took the bus to Maspalomas, Palmitos Park, Mogan from here.

2 mins walk to the nearest shop and restaurants, 4 mins to the nearest beach, 10 mins to get to the bus station, the large shopping centre and more restaurants (although not nearly as nice as the sea front restaurants) and 20min beautiful coastal path walk to Amadores beach, which is the larger and prettier of the 2 beaches.

Bus station, with routes to all the local towns is a short walk away.

Morasol is located a short walk from the beach, bus station and other restaurants.

We were surprised how gentle the climb was to the Commercial Centre and the Mogan Mall which we visited on our one dull day.

We visited the Puerto Rico commercial centre for one night and found more restaurants and shops.

There are soooo many restaurants to choose from and we did have some favourites ; Da Pinnochios in the commercial centre.

pool was very nice always sunbeds available can't say enough good things about this hotel lovely location right next to the harbour and about a 15 minute walk to the shopping centre or a 3 euro taxi ride

Although it’s a good walk into Puerto Rico centre, it’s right beside the marina and beach .

We got taxi a few times to shopping centre and once to Amadores beach.

Morasol Suites is approximately a 5 minute walk from the beach and 10 minutes to the shopping centre.

Perfect for us as a family, with a walk along to the small harbour or up to the centre within around 15 minutes.

The centre of the town (the shopping area etc) would have been about 25 mins walk

You can usually get taxis into the commercial centre from the harbour.

The hotel is located at the end of the Marina, a flat walk to the beach or about 20mins to the centre of town to the older shopping area or across to the other side of the bay.

The location right next to the marina was superb as were the apartments themselves.

There is a small marina cafe across the road from the Morosol which we frequented.

Morasol is located next door to Marina Suites.

Location is good as on the flat part of Puerto Rico by the marina, ferries can be caught to go to Puerto Morgan, the market is on a Friday,

Location within the resort

An excellent and quiet location on the flat, overlooking the marina.

It was well positioned, with a great view of the marina.

Lovely apartments well located nice view of Marina lovely pool area and very clean.

Rooms are the perfect size and the balcony’s have a great view of the marina or the pool in morasol.

We stayed in a studio room overlooking the pool & marina, which all rooms do, size of the room was great, big balcony, good kitchenette which had everything you need!

Rooms were great for what we needed of them good view of the sea and the marina!

We were allocated room number 408, which had a fantastic view over the marina.

The suites are situated on the flat overlooking the marina so everywhere is in walking distance.

We had a wonderful room with a very large balcony overlooking the marina and the pool.

The setting is quiet with a beautiful view over the Marina, yet close to some good resta6such as La Mattine, El Gaitero and El Guanche.

Such a calming place to be in, with a fantastic outlook over the marina.

very enjoyable visit, all the staff friendly and helpful.there is very little wrong with this hotel and itis located on the flat very near one of the marinas and ferry port.the pool is a good size and there is also a rooftop sunbathing area.if i go back to puerto rico i would go back to the morasol.

Perfect location overlooking the marina, beautiful views, plenty of sun beds, great pool, peaceful and quiet

Our favourites were Grill Costa Mar (best paella ever and amazing fish), Kai Chinese restaurant and Don Quijote (Salmon and prawn linguine with twice as much fish as pasta).

but if you want to have tapas and half bottle of wine and a beer for lunch it will set you back about $45_60.

Tables were available inside and outside on the cool shady terrace, and were quickly cleared by the efficient and welcoming restaurant team.

The area is nice with lots of bars and restaurants.

The location is excellent to restaurants, beach, boat trips, supermarket and of course the view is beautiful night & day.

There are lots of restaurants and bars close by which was very handy and the beaches nearby were so beautiful.

I would recommend using the shop and restaurants just a few minutes walk from the hotel through the tunnel.

I’m good walking distance of everything shop pub and restaurants just up under the tunnel!!

No evening entertainment no evening meal options, poolside very quiet

The kitchen area was well appointed and came with all the utensils you needed to make a meal.

It is an easy walk to the beach, supermarkets and restaurants to suit every taste.

Under the tunnel to the right of the hotel is a slight climb to some really good restaurants, pub and mini market.

David on reception gave us loads of tips about places to visit and arranged a New Year's pizza delivery for us.

If you go directly across marina it takes you to loads of different restaurants and also a Spar shop.

For us to get to Durty Nelly’s was a treat as we love live music and it was 5 minutes walking distance together with half a dozen good restaurants.

After we suffered some unforseen mobility issuses just before going on hoiliday the staff went above and beyond to make us as happy as posible , we arrived late at night the gentelman on the front desk done his upmost to get us some food and drink which was very helpfull.

If there are no signs up  and people are not told of this then as new people arrive they  just join the " well everyone else is doing it " and they start getting up even earlier than the day before.

but a word of warning , if you were travelling with others and using the bed settee the one bedroom suites are fairly open plan with no door for the bedroom so you may be better with a 2 bedroomed suite.

On the fourth day we discovered the existence of the solarium for which there were no signs to be seen in the hotel, as far as we could see, and on the second last day we found the Jet2 information board, having been told at reception on day 2 that there was no such board.

When maintenance removed fridge they uncovered a very large amount of mouse droppings so mice must have been living here for some considerable time.

The pool bed situation is not as advertised and towels were never removed despite being left all day.

I’ve stayed in various hotels around the world and this is the 1st time this type a rule has been implemented of 
30mins not on the sunbed then the towel and personal belongings are removed.

Only complaint was that despite a sign on the desk at reception saying you are not allowed to reserve sunbeds with towels, everyone does, so by 9am there are no beds with parasols available at the pool area.

The refurb of bathrooms was planned around 18 months ago and still no sign of this happening unless the area to the right of the hotel have been?

but no taps, just shower head which means the whole bathroom gets a thorough soaking when you try and fill bath with it, as it thrashes about unless you either hold it or want to wait half an hour to fill bath. Owners should Either remove bath (no!)

but there was a form in the room stating that this was ongoing).

The one shower I used on the roof had a blocked drain.

The bathroom is a nice size with a walk in shower, you need to build a towel dam when you use the shower as it floods the bathroom floor as the drain is not fast enough to take the water.

It seems that there is no proper drainage in these areas.

The cost of this holiday was not cheap and I really do not expect to have to put up with mould etc (I don’t have it at home).

We regret not booking the friday night bbq as we passed by and it smelled and looked delicious!

The only negative and reason it's not a 5 star review and in my opinion not a 4 star hotel is the damp in the bathroom, really quite bad.

The bathroom was quite small with no power in the shower or taps when warm water needed, there was a hole in the ceiling and signs of damp everywhere.

On arrival our room smelt of cigarettes and took a few days to get rid of it.

We have stayed here numerous times and the Suites, the staff and the weather never let us down.

We were warmly welcomed by David on arrival and the cleaners were excellent.

Rooms were kept clean, the ladies were always friendly.

Several reviews mention this, and the reply is often that there simply isn’t the demand.

The rest of the hotel was clean and the pool area was looked after, all of the staff were friendly and welcoming.

The staff are lovely, friendly and any requests/issues are dealt with promptly.

We were welcomed by Luis who was very kind and friendly.

Just back from our 3rd visit to the fabulous Morasol -  perfect location, great rooms and fantastic staff - reception staff especially Luis were so helpful and always greeted you with a smile and our lovely cleaner Elisa!

We had a late flight home and was offered the use of a complimentary room, which was complete with fresh towels, toiletries and even a bottle of wine and large bottle of water.

Bottle of water provided so we were able to make a hot drink.

You can buy large bottles of water from the hotel so you don’t have to carry heavy bottles from the supermarket.

but now commercialised, we avoided the Friday market, it is a lovely walk around the marina, bus there for €1.55 each and €7.00 back on a water taxi along the coast.

We had no bottled water in our room upon arrival which we always previously had.

We also had a bottle of water in room as we arrived late which again was very thoughtful and helpful.

It is well located for the bus station, lovely town of Garda & the lake.

The location of the hotel was excellent it was 59 sec from the bus station.

Take a look at Google maps, you've got literally everything you could need within 500m: bus station, super market, pharmacy, bars, scooter hire, petrol station, restaurants, lake front etc.

Verona is 45 minutes away, Malcesine is 30 minutes away, Limone is 30 minutes away from Malcesine via a ferry, Riva del Garda is an hour away, there’s SUP board hire in Bardolino which is only a 10 minute bus ride and every destination is accessible via the Garda bus station which is a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

There is a supermarket just across from the bus station which we used most days.

The rooms are great and so are the staff memebers are great as well, the pool was really really nice, and you are a 1 minute walk from the bus station and 8 mins from the city as well as the lake, honestly a very nice place.

This hotel is amazing, convenient for the bus station 5 mins walk to the lake.

Round the corner from bus station and just few minutes walk to the lake.

The location is second to none, a couple of minutes walk to the bus station, lake front and well-stocked supermarket.

It is well positioned, 2 mins from bus station, 5-10 mins from waterfront, and 10-15 mins from ferry terminal (all pleasant walks).

The hotel has a great location ,near the bus station .

The location was fab, as it is close to the bus station where you can get buses to loads of places including Verona.

We counted and it was 200 paces from the bus station to inside the hotel, all flat apart from the final ramp into the hotel.

Hotel was lovely, location was fantastic as only 1 minuet from the bus station and 3 minutes from the main promenade and staff were very attentive.

Also very near little bus station for buses all along the lake or to Verona, and near to ferry stop.

This hotel is near the bus station so is easily accessible for anyone wanting to visit other locations around the lake.

The hotel is in a great position for a walk down to the lake front and close to the bus station.

Location of hotel is perfect, close to bus station and few minutes walk to lake and supermarket on corner and other shops nearby.

Before we arrived we were a bit nervous about the proximity to the bus station and being set back from the lake.

Now to the good points .. great location, close to the bus station for easy travel around the area, Verona is 45 mins away and 8 euros return.

Because the hotel is so near the bus station we used the buses much more this holiday visiting many of the lakes towns and villages.

but so close to the bus station, fairly close to the lakeside.

The hotel is well placed to walk into the town or to the water front for the ferry, bus station is close by for other trips around the lake or further afield.

The location in Garda is perfect, just away from any noise and yet stepping distance to the Bus station and walking distance into the town centre.

The hotel is close to the bus station, the town centre and the lake front making it very conveniently situated.

this hotel was perfect for our requirements, lovely newly decorated room, beach bag with large pool towels for our use whist at the hotel, close to the bus station, 5 mis from the lake promenade, bars,restauraunts and shops.

The hotel is a few minutes from the lake and facilities and very near to the bus station.

but also La Rocca behind it and then over the town roof tops towards the lake.

The hotel offers 2 complimentary excursions, one to walk up La Rocca and a cycle around Bardolino's vineyards.

Walk up La Rocca from the hotel for astounding views, use the local buses to get around, they're modern and run on time.

The hotel has wee extra touched that add to the experience such as reading glasses to use and umbrellas if needed and of course bikes to rent and free guided tour of La Rocca on a Monday morning.

If you are up for a challenge get up La Rocca the view will stay with me forever. .

The pool was breathtakingly situated with views of La Rocca and olive and Cyprus trees growing around it so not overlooked as many pool areas in nearby hotels are.

but stunning views of La Rocca wow just wow and the supermarket behind sells processco for €3 a bottle D Piu it’s called

Go for it you won’t be disappointed

None other as good in Garda which can be confirmed by viewing the hotel from La Rocca, the mountain which is situated at Garda.

The pool is exceptional with the back drop of la rocca and the surrounding flower.

The pool is very good and has great views of La Rocca.

but there are also great unspoiled views up towards La Rocca (and at night there are spotlights on the statue of the Madonna) together with a side view of the Chiesa of Santa Maria Assunta and the lake.

We walked to Bardilino & took the opportunity to join the guided walk up La Rocca.

We also did the guided walk offered by the hotel up La Rocca.

The views from the pool are beautiful, with La Rocca one side and the other set of mountains behind the hotel.

Our room 313 on the 3rd floor overlooking La Rocca and the pool was immaculately cleaned daily by our friendly chambermaid Manuela.

La Perla is nestled below La Rocca in Garda and is only 300 yards from the lakeside.

Also at the back of the hotel is a hill called la rocca which we climbed in about 40 mins.

The reception (and housekeeping) staff were also excellent and helpful assisting us with booking activities and providing guidance for walks - the path up to "La Rocca" a hill that dominates the resort is just behind the hotel.

The whole pool/garden area is overlooked by "La Rocca" - the famous hill that is prominent in Garda.

A tip for a room with a good view - ask for room numbers 1-11 any floor  -they look out over La Rocca & the swimmng pool.

We highly recommend getting the local service bus to Torri Del Benaco just up the road.

Didn’t partake in entertainment looked ok but run of the mill one man and a Mike.

but not for us it was brilliant we met Ray and Jackie and by the end of the week we both felt as if we knew them for longer than 7 days well done to La  Perla for matching us up with the perfect table companions Cilla Black with blind date does not have a look in!!

Amazing pool area and despite how busy it was the pool was never crowded.

Pool area is brilliant- no battle for sunbeds which is always a plus.

The pool area was really good and we managed to get a sun bed every time.

Pool area was nice and we never struggled for beds.

Plus points are the pool area (good size pool, nice surrounds, great backdrop), the price (very good value for Lake Garda) and location (close to old Garda town)1?.

The pool area is lovely - plenty of space to have a proper swim and to lay and relax.

There was plenty of Sun loungers and the view of the mountain was great from the pool area.

An added bonus was the beautiful pool area and terrace, where we enjoyed the late afternoon sun.

The hotel has a few positives, the location, the pool area and the free wifi.

Many elderly guests with poor mobility so not great.

Evening dinner choices are poor, not Italian dishes as expected

A lot of the guests were talking amongst themselves commenting on the poor food choices- apparently it’s gone downhill the last few months.

Food - Do not be put off by poor reviews, the food is very good!!

The bar food selection is very poor as is the quality.

However the main meals for us were very poor.

There were two nights that had music entertainment, which was a guitar player outside on the lawn below the hotel entrance and in front of some seating there - strange as there is loads of room in the two level bar inside where people could get drinks and be comfortable, rather than sweating and getting eaten by bugs outside - not sure how you got drinks unless you went back into the hotel to the bar area or if they serve you outside - either way seems crazy and when we walked back from town the poor guy was trying to entertain about 6 people who had braved the heat and bugs!
