We enjoyed the silent and beautiful place with view over sea and away from the hotels at the beach and their entertainment program you can hear in the evening (from the distance).

Carme villas is in beautiful location only a few minutes drive to the beach and a close drive to beautiful Rethymon.

); down the road to the local little town and the beach.

The beach is nice, sandy and lots of room to enjoy.

but it was only a 10-15 minute walk to one of many local beaches.

The beach is very long so you can walk for a long time if you want.

Close to main road, and to the main beach with few 5 stars Resorts and clubs.

The location is amazing, about a kilometer away from the beach

but if you've become used to the particular standards of chains, it's going to be a challenge for you 

Positives:

+ individual approach to each visitor
+ big, well equipped apartments
+ daily checking of the private swimming pool, so it’s always pure and clean
+ tasty food
+ daily washing and changing towels (including beach towels)
+ very friendly, helpful and nice people – everyone.

We preferred beaches on the south side of the island rather than the ones nearby.

The beaches around are nice, and it is few minuits driving from rethymnon.

The owner is always helpful and can recommend you places to see, eat and interesting things to do with your kid.the beach is just a five minute drive away.

Excellent location, 5 minutes drive from the beach and promenade packed with restaurants and shops.

The villas are modern (minamilistic look), very clean and peaceful and only a few minutes from the beach.

Many fish tavernas are nearby and the seafront at this area is good,

We drove through Crete north,south,east and west to discover the breathtaking crete landscape and hidden wild beaches and at the end of everyday endeavour, we were delighted to find our oasis of warmthful luxury at Carme Villa.

but near to rethymno and the beach - but a car is recommended!

Nearby are the amazing monastery of arkadi and also the Archaeological site of Elutherna which is still revealing its Archaic  secrets from 900 BCE.

We did not hear even the neighbours from adjoining villas,

You can only ask for a villa without children as direct neighbours (as we did),

And the second bedroom is practically a tiny extension of the master bedroom with just a set of pull-out single beds leaving no space even to open the door.

There are two bedrooms on the first floor of each villa and 2 bathrooms as well as a fully equipped kitchen and fridge in the downstairs living area.

A high chair and baby cot were waiting for us upon our arrival.

So, we ended up using the sofa bed in the living room as the second bedroom which itself was somewhat uncomfortable.

In our case, warming up baby food using regular stove was very uncomfortable
- no 24/7 on duty reception, so if you need smth urgently, you sometimes need to search for someone or call a mobile
