Only minus is that because covid the bar in the lounge was closed.

Once arrived at the hotel i discovered the indoor facilitates were closed due to CONVID, which is understandable.

Due to Covid, the sauna, jacuzzi and indoor pool were closed,

Inside swimming pool was closed due to the pandemic.

Sadly the SPA was closed for cleaning for a day.

Some of them were coming from Bucharest and they way was almost closed,

Good food, clean and comfortable room, our kids asked for coming back soon.

The spa area perfect for relax and also appropriate for children.

For family with kids they have a lot of activities, even OPEN air cinema on the Beach.

I travel with a 20 months year baby and it was perfect.

We were with our 1 year old child and we don’t know what can we did with him during this hour.

I asked for an explanation from the boy at the bar who informed me that he noticed this fact for which he contacted a superior who informed him that within 24 hours of mounting the dispenser, the beer is drinkable

Very happy about it, because we traveled with our 1 year baby girl.

The kids can have fun too in the little pool.

The hotel has its own parking, it is very well positioned, with access to the promenade boulevard, it has a very beautiful private beach, indoor pool and two outdoor pools for adults and children.

The room was nice for our family of 5 and appeared modern, it had a master bedroom with one large bed and a living/setting area that was turned into a second room for our children to sleep in as well as a dinning area and standard hotel bathroom.

We took dinner in the hotel's restaurant, my daughter had a  cream soup "mushroom capuccino" - she said it was the tastiest ever and I took a very good black rice with shrimps and truffles.

Therefore, the child could come in at the same time as me and we could both be satisfied.

For those who love staying at the pool, the hotel offers two lovely outdoor pools, out of which one is for children.

A hotel that we like very much, we recomand it, even if,  this time , my grandson didn't find any place to play.Georgeta

In february we celebrated our boy’s baptism at the Hotel Iaki.

We had a relaxing weekend, with our 3 years old daughter, in the same place where we always come back.

The kids had fun as well, they were kept busy doing
activities they prepared for them.

Very nice & cozy hotel ,nice ocean view from our apt ,kids friendly ,the Reception desk girl was very  helpful and friendly ,We been upgrade to apartment.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing.

The rules of protection against Covid are respected, there are devices with disinfectant everywhere in the hotel, and in the restaurant the tables are placed at a great distance from each other.The room was very clean, housekeeping woman on our floor was professional and always did a thorough job.Brilliant food with lots of choices, reach breakfast and lunch.

Beautiful,  spatious and very clean rooms, the bed is very very comfortable.

Apart from the normal services (clean room, good food, pleasant staff), I enjoyed a lot the entertainment program: live music in the evening, professional photos and movies on the beach !

The food is absolutly delicous, 100% 4*, the breakfast is full with quality products, you can enjoy it on a very nice terrace.

But the hotel terrace and the hotel beach go in contradictory with those 4* that iaki supposed to have.

The hotel has a great location, on my favourite part of the city and a very nice terrace to enjoy the view after a long day.

I like the extraordinary outdoor terrace, where in the morning you can drink a cup of coffee and in the evenings you can stay with friends for a glass of wine, listening to live music (there is a band constantly - not always the same), you really feel on your vacation away from the unleashed world.

part of our activities was held on the beach and the briefing sessions were held on the hotel terrace (generous space).

It is the third time we have stayed here, the quality of the services has been maintained: the spa area is clean, the reception is friendly, the breakfast is consistent.

The spa is located at the ground floor and you can see the inside pool from the parking.

We enjoyed staying by the pool and in the sauna.

Splendid as it says, the restaurant is also good, i love the pool and the spa.

Place for parking is available, interesting to watch sunset in the swimming pool through the big window of the pool.

A big plus is the balcony for smokers, a lot of products in the bathroom, the minibar with great prices , the huge bathroom and the amazing views and the only downside is that kids under 16 can’t use the pool!

This hotel has a swimming pool and a sauna.

Spa was nice, one 25-meter long pool and small relaxation pool.

It has a nice indoor pool with a Jacuzzi (but it was broken) and quite a few therapy massages, saunas and showers available.

Didn't have a chance to use the indoor swimming pool as the weather was ok for swimming in the sea.

I also had a spa treatment and used the pool and sauna facilities.

but since they are expanding by building a new wing (which I understood it will include an indoor pool also), maybe in the future we'll celebrate new year there :-)

It's relatively new and modern, more of a business hotel than a vacation one, no pool for example.

The bathroom was the best: large room with a very nice jacuzzi.

but I don't recommend it because it has a poor view.

We didn't like: TV signal so poor, we cannot use the tv-set.

Another minus it is that the hotel does not have a swimming pool and offer very poor options for children or adults entertainment.

We ate here often due to poor restaurant experiences in Mamaia.

Bathrobes, slippers and a hairdryer are provided, a mini bar, and a well presented, good sized clean room with a nice balcony area, ask for a room facing the lake where you can sit in the evening and enjoy watching amazing sunsets.

I knew what to expect - clean rooms, quiet rooms (at least those located towards the Lake Siutghiol).

The service was great, the room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was just perfect.

The room on 3rd floor with a lake view was lovely and the room itself was spotlessly clean and very comfortable.

Sadly it was unseasonably hot out and 80 degrees isn’t my idea of comfortable to sleep.

The 'City view' room (which I had) look out on to a busy 4 lane road and the traffic noise was reasonably loud - requiring earplugs to sleep.

The bed was so low it was like sleeping on the floor.

Also early in the morning there's a sound of a pneumatic drill and other building noises from the construction site just a few metres away from the hotel, so between noisy air con and the drilling - no quality sleep at all.

Unfortunately, our mattresses weren't very firm and the pillows were lumpy and too soft so we didn't sleep well.

Our bedroom was on the street side and I must say the noise (even in the weekend -  in the summer when It's like Ibiza) did not keep us out of our sleep (but we live in a big city, so this is quite subjective).

However, during the night the noise was not so disturbing therefore we had a decent sleep.

The room cleaning is done on daily basis during the morning (it was an exception in one day, when the lady came at noon and I gave up at the service because my little girl was sleeping).

We've used to sleep on temperatures less than 20 deg.

The hotel has an amazing lake view / So we admired a beautiful sunset.

I did not want a room overlooking the lake because I knew that the afternoon would be very hot in the room.

Splendid Hotel is one of the best 4 stars hotels , located on Bulevardul Mamaia , on the side with Lake Siutghiol and with the views of Black Sea situated on the other side of the grand boulevard  .

To be fair the tourist season on the Black Sea is short, and the competition from so many hotels must be enourmous.

Room 114 has a nice balcony overlooking main road.

I imagine rooms at the back are much better from that point of view.

We had daily problems with the water pressure and the fact that most of the times the water wasnt warm at all.

In the room 1317 the drains of both sink and shower tub were partially blocked.

The room quite small, the bathroom really small, a bit of refurbishment needed.

The room, bathroom and balcony are very small.

-	Cockroaches in the bathroom at night (had to always keep the light on so they won’t come);
-	Very small rooms (no exaggeration, one has to walk in a file to navigate the few steps available in the room – the bathroom is the pinnacle);
-	Some of the furniture in the room, on the kids bed, has dangerous screws left out so one can easily get hurt (see foto);
-	Ridiculous towel area on the private beach (1 m wide at most).

Family Room Best Price very crowded, a small bathroom, a very small balcony.

Housekeeping is almost non-existent, they do not clean baths properly.

though we had a room in the hotel)
- extremely small bathroom, poorly cleaned during the staying
- the breakfast was no longer filled in the same way if eating after 8:45, 09:00 in the morning  (even thought the schedule was 07:00-10:00) 
- the SPA has very limited services (the Turkish sauna does not work properly, the jacuzzi cannot be used by more than 7, 8 persons at the same time. the extra fee is really overrated)

when I entered the room, I realized that it wasn't clean at all, the bathroom was a mess, it had a lot of mud and sand spots, hair all over the place, dirty towel, dirty beds, carpets, a bin was staying right in the center of the room.

- TV on the right side of the wall, while in front of the bed you have a mirror.

The room is small, door squeeks like a dieing animal, balcony looks industrial with hammer made drain hole and impossible to close door, thin walls, bathroom falls appart with bugs on the floor.

The bathroom is very very small, only one person can fit in it.

The bath is waaay too small and you cannot open the bathroom door and the entrance door at the same time.

Room was a bit small and warm and the bathroom could have been cleaned a bit better

It was impossible for me to take a shower or to bath the children after the beach or when they needed cleaning.

I had to clean the bathroom by myself using the cleaning articles bought in a store. 3.

The hotel is located on the beach, there is free parking with a limited number of places available.

only maybe if you really want a beach location and have not found anything better for the same price in the entire Mamaia.

The best thing about this hotel is the fact that it is located on the beach.

The hotel is nicely located right on the beach, it's clean and the staff is nice and helpful.

The prices were the highest across all restaurants we encountered while the restaurant personnel would look at you in a weird way if you didnt tip atleast 10% of your order.

The new extended beach shifts the shoreline some 80 meters “away” while the sun beds are still in the old place…and VERY pricey and not worth it!

On the beach, the hard, plastic sunbeds, without a mattress and the worst thing is that he made us pay for the sunbeds for 2 days even if we didn't use them, one of the days it rained all day, and the -the second was a strong wind and we couldn't stay, they didn't understand the situation forcing us to pay for the 2 days, being very rude receptionist.

First question asked by reception lady was if I agree to pay at arrival.

We were booked in the second building, standard suites,for which we paid a horrid lot of money for.

The restaurant it's overrated, very plain and expensive.

Also, the access to the hotel pool 
had to be paid a lot of money.

Also one has to pay for things that would have been a given for a 4 star hotel (pool access, beach lounges)

Conclusions: 4 stars is a joke.

I did not try the a la carte restaurant, that anyway was overpriced.

This hotel is very expensive for the quality of service and size of the room.

I was not happy with the services offered by the hotel restaurant, the poor bargaining diversity, and the very high prices.

Over all, I won't go there, it's not a 4* hotel, it is dirty, the employees are rude and untrainted, the parking is too expensive and the pool too, the wi-fi signal was very poor.

Anyway if you are forced to visit it, ask for a room in the building wich is parallel  with the shore, the other rooms in the building wich is perpendicularly to the shore must to be avoided, no metter the price.
