It is the third time we have stayed here, the quality of the services has been maintained: the spa area is clean, the reception is friendly, the breakfast is consistent.

Breakfast was diverse ,tasty, good expresso.

Great location, clean rooms, amazing restaurant a la carte, free parking, very good breakfast, friendly staff!

As for breakfast, the variety of options is just fine,

Breakfast on the other hand was poor compared to other 4 stars I stayed in, and could use improvement

We didn't like: TV signal so poor, we cannot use the tv-set.

If i would have to say a bad thing: the breakfast was a bit poor,but yet did the job!

Another minus it is that the hotel does not have a swimming pool and offer very poor options for children or adults entertainment.

We ate here often due to poor restaurant experiences in Mamaia.

Sadly it was unseasonably hot out and 80 degrees isn’t my idea of comfortable to sleep.

The 'City view' room (which I had) look out on to a busy 4 lane road and the traffic noise was reasonably loud - requiring earplugs to sleep.

The bed was so low it was like sleeping on the floor.

Also early in the morning there's a sound of a pneumatic drill and other building noises from the construction site just a few metres away from the hotel, so between noisy air con and the drilling - no quality sleep at all.

Unfortunately, our mattresses weren't very firm and the pillows were lumpy and too soft so we didn't sleep well.

Our bedroom was on the street side and I must say the noise (even in the weekend -  in the summer when It's like Ibiza) did not keep us out of our sleep (but we live in a big city, so this is quite subjective).

However, during the night the noise was not so disturbing therefore we had a decent sleep.

The room cleaning is done on daily basis during the morning (it was an exception in one day, when the lady came at noon and I gave up at the service because my little girl was sleeping).

We've used to sleep on temperatures less than 20 deg.

We had daily problems with the water pressure and the fact that most of the times the water wasnt warm at all.

In the room 1317 the drains of both sink and shower tub were partially blocked.

The room quite small, the bathroom really small, a bit of refurbishment needed.

The room, bathroom and balcony are very small.

-	Cockroaches in the bathroom at night (had to always keep the light on so they won’t come);
-	Very small rooms (no exaggeration, one has to walk in a file to navigate the few steps available in the room – the bathroom is the pinnacle);
-	Some of the furniture in the room, on the kids bed, has dangerous screws left out so one can easily get hurt (see foto);
-	Ridiculous towel area on the private beach (1 m wide at most).

Housekeeping is almost non-existent, they do not clean baths properly.

- the breakfast was no longer filled in the same way if eating after 8:45, 09:00 in the morning  (even thought the schedule was 07:00-10:00) 
- the SPA has very limited services (the Turkish sauna does not work properly, the jacuzzi cannot be used by more than 7, 8 persons at the same time. the extra fee is really overrated)

when I entered the room, I realized that it wasn't clean at all, the bathroom was a mess, it had a lot of mud and sand spots, hair all over the place, dirty towel, dirty beds, carpets, a bin was staying right in the center of the room.

- TV on the right side of the wall, while in front of the bed you have a mirror.

The room is small, door squeeks like a dieing animal, balcony looks industrial with hammer made drain hole and impossible to close door, thin walls, bathroom falls appart with bugs on the floor.

The bathroom is very very small, only one person can fit in it.

The bath is waaay too small and you cannot open the bathroom door and the entrance door at the same time.

Room was a bit small and warm and the bathroom could have been cleaned a bit better

It was impossible for me to take a shower or to bath the children after the beach or when they needed cleaning.

I had to clean the bathroom by myself using the cleaning articles bought in a store. 3.

The food from the restaurant is delicious and fresh.

Same breakfast every morning with literally no differences across 5 days.

Breakfast is the same, quite simple, after 5-6 days of eating the same food you get tired.

Breakfast was also great and really nice to enjoy it early in the morning looking at a lovely sunrise over the sea.

When you book the room you have the breakfast included, the food is good (only referring to breakfast).

The breakfast is good, quality products with lots of options.

You could see the sunrise from the balcony, it's very close to the beach and if has a nice terrace from where you can take breakfast.

Pro:
       +      Easy access to the beach;
       +        Good mattresses;
       +       Decent breakfast choice.

but nice rooms, sea view from the balcony, for sunrise it's wonderful, a good enough breakfast, maybe they have to work for croissant and improve the taste of coffee that it is no so bad but not on my taste; anyway you can order esspresso from the bar at a normal price.

4) The breakfast buffet is a joke.

We found this restaurant after we've been searching all the evening a restaurant just to eat some dessert a lava cake and chocolate pancake.

We had breakfast which was great, also the private beach is clean and free of seaweed .

The breakfast was adequate, maybe too repetitive

The meals were buffet type, with a variety of products for all tastes and demands, the party was a blast, and it continued on January 1st.

The prices were the highest across all restaurants we encountered while the restaurant personnel would look at you in a weird way if you didnt tip atleast 10% of your order.

The new extended beach shifts the shoreline some 80 meters “away” while the sun beds are still in the old place…and VERY pricey and not worth it!

On the beach, the hard, plastic sunbeds, without a mattress and the worst thing is that he made us pay for the sunbeds for 2 days even if we didn't use them, one of the days it rained all day, and the -the second was a strong wind and we couldn't stay, they didn't understand the situation forcing us to pay for the 2 days, being very rude receptionist.

First question asked by reception lady was if I agree to pay at arrival.

We were booked in the second building, standard suites,for which we paid a horrid lot of money for.

The restaurant it's overrated, very plain and expensive.

Also, the access to the hotel pool 
had to be paid a lot of money.

Also one has to pay for things that would have been a given for a 4 star hotel (pool access, beach lounges)

Conclusions: 4 stars is a joke.

I did not try the a la carte restaurant, that anyway was overpriced.

This hotel is very expensive for the quality of service and size of the room.

I was not happy with the services offered by the hotel restaurant, the poor bargaining diversity, and the very high prices.

Over all, I won't go there, it's not a 4* hotel, it is dirty, the employees are rude and untrainted, the parking is too expensive and the pool too, the wi-fi signal was very poor.

Anyway if you are forced to visit it, ask for a room in the building wich is parallel  with the shore, the other rooms in the building wich is perpendicularly to the shore must to be avoided, no metter the price.

But, I also realised the mistake twenty minutes later, contacted the hotel, was willing to pay a penalty and still they would not change my reservation which is five months away.

but not 4 stars.. clean, new towels and so on..but.. no water in the fridge.. no fridge working.. during the summer that might be a problem.

We had to ask for staff to clean up the room,which -given that it's a 4 star hotel- should've been a given.

Let's get straight: this is NOT a 4 stars hotel

In a nut shell, Zenith is far from deserving its 4 stars.

Over all I’ll give this hotel 2 stars beacause I’m a generous person and I will never stay here again my life.

However, things still need improving, so I can't give 5 stars.

For sure it is not a 4 star hotel, it's maximum a 3 star hotel.

It does not have the accommodation and services of a four stars.

Zenith doesen't look like a four star hotel.

This is really not a 4 star hotel in any respect.

I could imagine such a situation at a 10 EUR hostel, not in an expensive 4 star hotel. 2.

I also would like to emphasize that the breakfast is not at 4 stars level - maybe 3 stars.

but from my opinion they really have to work harder for those 4 stars.For sure the prices are for a 4 + stars.

Pay extra for the pool (not normal for a 4 star hotel).

- rooms are really small for a (allegedly) four star hotel, and they're falling into disrepair.

The 1896 restaurant has fresh and delicious food.

Breakfast is served a la carte, With a variety of egg dishes (I liked the eggs Benedict) or you can choose something like avocado toast.

They changed us for the breakfast that we didn’t want it.

Everything was clean and comfortable.Service was good

On the plus side:
-Good rooms,very clean
-Friendly staff
-Good location near the beach (not for impaired persons as they are many stairs to the beach)
-Parking was free

On the minus side:

-The breakfast is quite poor as the hotel does not have an own restaurant or buffet.

We enjoyed breakfast and a dinner at the Irish pub across the way, as well as a nice little dinner behind the hotel overlooking the beach.

Breakfast was adequate for our needs, served in our room because of the covid conditions.

The hotel is good, good breakfast and big rooms.

I believe it is one of the best, very clean, good breakfast, parking outside, secured and sound proof, very quiet night and day.

Quietly and clean room, towels changed every day, mini bar daily refills, breakfast varies whit all kind of stuff.

On the day we left we had to be at the station too early for the 7:30 breakfast, so on check out reception offered us a delicious and nicely packed picnic breakfast complete with coffee.

Buffet breakfast starts at 7:30 am and i really enjoyed some traditional romanian food choices !

The room and the rest of the stay were very nice, the breakfast can be improved for a 4 star hotel.

This town house was turned into a stylish hotel with comfortable interiors and nice dining and breakfast rooms.

Breakfast, served in the coffee shop can, at best, be described as unappetising.

The restaurant downstairs was delicious, as was the pub across the street.

The breakfast was very good too and there are plenty restaurants in proximity.

The elevator is not in working condition,

On the negative: the main street is quite noisy, there is no elevator (for your heavy luggage),

The only reason this doesn't get a rating of 5 is that I'm not sure there is an elevator, so I'm not sure it would be suitable for people with mobility impairments.

The elevator is not always working, so consider that when planning luggage.

-how they had 4 starts, without elevator, breakfast, tiny bathroom etc?!

Note there is no elevator and the stairs up to reception and then up another flight of stairs to the rooms are steep, so this hotel is not suitable for those with impaired mobility. Check in was very efficient, with a heartfelt we've been expecting you."

there is no lift in the hotel and all rooms are on the first or second floor.

-The street is quite noisy and at night time you have a lot of guys driving their bikes to the maximum.

We took the blocking pillar away and started the parking when someone starting shouting from one of the hotel windows to not park there, as we are not allowed.

Except of the fact that there is a bit noisy from outside ( you hear a continous noise from the air co from the esto just in front) and you could not sleep with open window, the hotel itself is beautiful and comfy. The staff is polite, it s there when you need

Therefore, I choose not to cancel my reservation now and wait until July 2019 to hear any news from you.

Not sure how noisy can get in the summer!

The windows keep the traffic noise out when closed.

I find this to be a very quiet hotel, you don't seem to hear the other occupants or staff moving around, when windows are closed you don't hear the neighboring restaurants.

You may want to ask for room that doesn't face the busy street because on a weekend night because there is a lot of traffic on the street and it can be noisy,

but closing your window blocks any noise if you are trying to sleep.

although there was construction everywhere  around Constanta this time a year, I couldn't hear it at all.

but we weren't disturbed by any traffic noise.

The hotel is not prepared to enforce a non smoking policy !

but instead of being told that there are no good rooms available, the hotel has offered to accommodate me in their worst room (that is room 18) in their premises: an inconveniently small twin bed room, which suffers from intolerant bad smells (a combination of smoke and sewage smell) and, to my surprise, as equally expensive as the rest of the clearly superior deluxe mini-suites.

In the cafe where breakfast is served people smoke and the staff are rather indifferent if not rude- still it's not part of the hotel.

The only negative thing about the hotel is that lately they seem to have a problem with the sewage system and some rooms have a smell problem in the bathroom.

As in many places in Romania the non smoking area is not very well protected from the very large smoking area

Rooms need to be maintained, bathrooms are small and not pretty.

But the hotel does not posses the expected amenities, especially for 4 stars.

Toilet had a piece of wood at the bottom to support its frame.

Also, the shower cabin was weirdly small, considering the large size of the entire bathroom.

The bathroom fixtures are antiquated and the automatic lights are a bit strange.

I received a mansard floor room, and despite the fact that they said they did the disinsection, I found two bugs in the bathroom.

Some repairs and redecoration needed inside the bathrooms and not only.

Only negative was the size of the shower cabin.

Shower door was constantly getting stuck.

Negative point: i think they need to improve the bathroom amenities.

So check before you put your key into the wrong door. * in my room the WIFI was slow and it was not working all the time

The  bathroom fittings were loose and looked and felt as if they would fall off the walls.

It was the first hotel ( between the 3 and 4 stars hotel) that I was stood in Constanța,  that did not have mold and mildew in the bathroom.

The rooms are spacious (the corner rooms in block A have a bigger bathroom) and clean (the towels could have looked better- they were not all that white and one even had a hole in it).

Breakfast: wide range of fresh options, with everything you might wish for. Delicious.

The staff were very friendly and professional and breakfast was plentiful and varied.

There isn't a real restaurant, just a few rooms at the basement for serving breakfast and no bar/ café either, not to mention an inner courtyard or a terrace.

Breakfast box may be inconvenient for the hotel staff because they have to spend 5 mins to prepare it,

The building is beautiful, the bed was confortable and I enjoyed the breakfast - tasty and with good enough options.

I liked the breakfast with enough cheese, veg and and fruit to keep me happy and hot food as well.

The breakfast is sufficient and of good quality.

but the rooms were nice, everything was clean, bed was camfortable and breakfast was very good.

I stayed at the Hotel Carol for four nights in September 2016, booking online and paying a total of around 180 GBP, including breakfast.

Positive points: clean, stylish, great staff, good breakfast, very good location, free parking, good wifi, big and comfy beds .

but there was no housekeeping and we got fresh towels only if we asked for it.

They called me yelling at 7 p.m because i forgot to bring the iron back from the night before and in the afternoon when i tried to get some more sleep they started cleaning other rooms at 14:00 telling me that there is no other way .

Housekeeping just changed the towels, toilet paper, and emptied the trash as far as we could tell.
