The bathroom spacious with a lovely shower.

We had a suite with two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

I'm a Holiday Day Inn gold rewards member and was excited to have all the amenities such as the kitchen and sitting area,

Laken gave me bathroom supplies so that I could keep the do-not-disturb magnet on my room during the stay.

Each room has a kitchen/den and a separate bedroom and bath.

My girls and I had a two bedroom two bathroom suite that was very spacious.

Pool was a very nice size and also a nice size whirlpool.

It's a great place for families to stay - clean rooms, nice amenities, good service.

Amenities:  a Delicious Complimentary Breakfast,  Heated Pool, Hot Tub,  Plenty of Towels located by the Pool. .

We decided to stay, the bathrooms are very clean and so was the bed.

The hotel staff was friendly, check in / out was easy, amenities were good enough and breakfast was decent.

My Queen-size room was like a getaway with great layout and décor, very, very clean with all the amenities of an apartment.

Not only is the hotel extraordinarily comfortable and clean, it has some of the best amenities I've experienced.

Clean hotel,friendly staff, we had a slow leak in the toilet- when notified it was fixed that day.

Great water pressure with very hot water as soon as shower is turned on.

Hotel soaps and lotion were pleasantly fragranced.

The patio was excellent, we grilled seafood on their outdoor grills (all amenities provided) and had a feast in our room.

There are no assistance bars in the bathtub,

The OEM non-slip coating had worn off the tub so the bottom of the tub was slick enough to be a hazard.

I think most people just shower these days, so a lot of hotels are losing the tubs.

Just FYI: there is a shower only, no tub for family looking to give the little one a bath.

Some of the lamps didn't work and I must say the bathroom design is horrible (you have to move out of the way to open the bathroom door - and bathing kids is a chore as there is no tub, only a shower.

The bathroom contained a walk-in shower instead of a bathtub.

The rooms were comfortable and clean with a refrigerator, microwave, stove top (no oven), dishwasher, desk, and small sofa.

We were told that the rooms were always cleaned to the same level.

Spacious, clean, well laid out rooms, pleasant and competent staff.

Room was clean had no problems and breakfast was good.

Swimming pool was very clean and had plenty of relaxing chairs around.

He put me on hold for 5 minutes and then said he would transfer me to Charlie, he transferred me instead to his voicemail.

We were very happy with the staff, service, and accommodations.

The social evening meals, laundry services, business services and gym make this hotel a complete steal.

They truly know what customer service is all about!

The coffee is the best I've tasted, and the daily cleaning service is through.

I make routine business trips to Corpus Christi and the Staybridge is always my first choice, primarily because of the exceptional customer service I experience every time from Charlie and his team.

Upon checkin this evening we notified the front office staff that we needed to make sure our room was clean and mold free because of respiratory health issues of a family member.

Ok folks I stay at hotels from 1 day to 6 months.

I reported this to the front desk when we checked in.

The front desk was helpful, and tried their best to help with the situation when possible.

There is a basketball court outside of the windows and when people play ball at night it is hard to sleep.

The room did not have great access to outlets to charge your devices and the curtains were moldy in our room due to the humidity.

but filters and coffee was not provided
- A floodlight placed just outside of my window made it too bright in the room and sleep was difficult

but you could hear it through the window as ours was above the swimming pool/barbecue area.

Even with the heavy drapes pull closed still warm.

Also, our 4 yr old couldn't resist staring out the window at the night time swimmers--consider asking for a room without a pool view.

The hallways, elevators and restrooms in the lobby area were very clean.

I must say I have been to quiet a few hotels in the Corpus Christi area and this hotel has to be my all time favorite.

It was good, area clean, food refilled quickly.

The lobby and common areas were beautiful,

Drive to the beach isn't bad at all and lots of places to eat in the surrounding areas.

Suite was well laid out with a spacious sitting area, dining and kitchen area.

Would definitely stay here if we are in the area again.

Breakfast was really good, pleasant area to eat.

Desk clerks seemed unfamiliar with the area.

Great hotel to stay if you have reason to be in that specific area.

One lady who watched over the breakfast area was especially helpful.

Loved that they had a small microwave, sink, and refrigerator area.

Our door had to be slammed in order for it to close all the way, when you walk into the room you can smell the dingy ness of the carpet, I was expecting queen beds

Hallways you can smell something off the carpet bad for ppl wo th allergies.

Our carpet was unraveling at the edge in front of the bathroom.

but that carpet is in urgent need of replacement.

Hotel itself:
Carpet stunk in room after turning down AC.

There are rips in the carpet and furniture, and chipped paint on the walls.

The carpet looked like it hadn't been vacuumed since the last guests.

There were a few burn patches in the carpet,

Room# 314 in which I stayed has a hole in the carpet by the desk.

The front desk staff seemed like they were being bothered by my issues with the a/c and wet carpet.

They were all both professional and friendly.

The hotel is very nice and clean the staff was very friendly and helpful the clerk at the front Nancy help me to sign in and get my Wyndham Rewards I will start making my reservations at way thank you for making my stay great for me and my family

We had a great stay, the beds were comfortable and I like the fact that there was a sofa bed in the room also for my kids.

We were there for romantic couple days away from kids and enjoyed our stay.

we are a family of 6  of 2 parents and 4 children.

The amenities were great,  kids loved the pool and it even had a hot tub for the wife.

But a nice customer, took the time to remove the debris so her daughter could swim.

Breakfast was ok until my kids recieved spoiled milk and ended up in the E.R.

This was my first trip with two of my grandkids and they didn't want to leave.

though most of the hotel was filled with kids on some kind of event, still quiet.

Me and  my  daughter  had  a  great  time  in the   hot tub .

I had no problems with noise, other than some kids above me jumping around,

We've used this location the last few years as our daughter is in college at Corpus Christi.

We were in Corpus to celebrate our grandsons birthday and we couldn't have chosen a better place.

The girl that checked us in was very nice.

Mind you we had our ten month old son who was ready for bedtime and was unable to rest from all of the switching of rooms.

This one is located on South Padres Island drive.

The location of the property was great there were plenty of restaurants nearby the mall was not too far.

My wife and I, both seniors in our late 70’s, recently spent 4 nights at the Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham located at 1442 S. Padre Island Drive in Corpus Christi.

The location is near many restaurants and not too far from the ocean.

Nice hotel with location near my work and city activities.

I like the location, it was easy to get to off the freeway.

Clean rooms, good location with easy access to freeway.

Location is pretty good, size of room was great.

The location allows easy access to Padre, Rockport, and Downtown CC.

No manager came to talk to us or discuss the situation.

Manager only apologized and offered no compensation.

Manager stated they didn't have supplies of food.

I had to call the manager in which she gave me half my money back. Annoyed.

Manager never returned any calls and was not available during the weekend.

but I met the owner who explained to me about the remodeling and apologized for the inconvenience then the manager came and checked me in.

It was good only thing was there was no hot water when taking a bath and when call front desk no manager on duty

but management did nothing about opening hall windows & ventilation until I complained.

I had to leave early the next day and could not talk to the manager.

This happened twice before management finally ripped the detector from the ceiling.

This is the first time that night manager was so unhelpful.

but management did everything they could to control the situation.

She said " I will have manager call you".

He said I could call the main Wyndham phone number

I forgot to call to let know them know I was doing a late check-in.

I reported it to the front desk and was later told that they did not answer their phone, if it continued to call the front desk again.

I ended up doing my work using my hot spot from my phone.

I tried to call the front desk to make them aware and the line was busy.

Room phone didn't work, couldn't call front desk to print my receipt.

I asked how I was supposed to see that from my office when making a reservation over the phone.

It may be a concern, if you are considering spring break of traveling with childern, so you might call first to confirm its status.

Not quite so much when I stopped by to mention that the phones had no dial tone.

When I went to check in a very rude man behind the desk told me they had a room available only for the first night , then said he could do both nights and tried to charge me more than I had been told on the phone.

She never called back,  I had to call again, was told she was busy and then finally got transfered to her after complaining.

but after calling it to their attention we were allowed to move.

Neighbors blared music till 3 am, despite repeated calls to the staff.

When we mention these items to staff, we were met with defensiveness.

When calling the front desk, they sent a cleaning lady.

Staff members will do everything possible to make sure you are comfortable and happy during your stay.

The housekeeping staff was kind and thorough.

Great staff that will help you in whatever you need from breakfast to go to have any supplies to your room.

Aside from that, staff was great and rooms are awesome!

but once we got the hotel, the desk clerk was very nice and helpful.

It seemed to us that she was genuinely interested in seeing we enjoyed our stay.

they have a wonderful front desk employee that makes sure your needs are all taken care of no matter what the time of day.

I will say despite those run ins my stay was very pleasant and given the chance I would stay here again for the comfort of the room and I would solely deal with the ladies at the front desk, they are always smiling and so accommodating.

Front desk clerk was very helpful with the Wyndham rewards she explained how it works very kind housekeeping kitchen in all staff with wonderful the room was excellent we will be coming back fed and pillows were great!

Staff and housekeeping are attentive to our needs.

The first room we got smelled so bad so they gave us another one with no shower curtains and we had to put them up r selves then no towels and when we checked out they gave us a receipt showing the payed for the stay then later on when we got home they had charged us again!! !

Opened the window to find dry wall falling from the upper window frame.

There was curtains that did not close to block out the like from the parking area at night or the sun in the morning.
