Breakfasts were great and the room was exceptionally clean with lovely fresh sheets and bed linen.

We had an evening meal there and Maria had done a lot of research, prior to our visit, to produce a delicious vegetairian meal for us.

The location is great, breakfast was delicious and Jordi is very kind, friendly and helpful.

The breakfast room is not unlocked until 8.30am and closed during the day so it is impossible to relax anywhere other than your room or collect emails etc.

We were locked out of he breakfast room (which houses the wifi) until 8am on the dot every morning - despite him being in the room

but it’s charming and not sure what people expect- : our rooms at the top (9 and 10) required a couple of flights of stairs but were quite large and had nice dark wood floor, doors and windows and the shutters and doors opened out onto small balconies with views up the valley.

The only shortcomings, which make this a 4-star rather than a 5-star review, were: (i) that the main window shutters did not open, so the room  was dark and we had no view; and (ii) the hot water took forever to get through to the tap or shower, meaning that many litres had to be run through the system before showering, which makes a rather big dent in the Hotel's commendable commitment to environmental responsibility.

Rooms are small and there is no communal indoor space - not great when the weather is poor.

Plenty of dos and things not to do - pay extra if you want towels changed.

Thin bedding and towels and poor toiletries.

There is no heating in the hotel, not even a heated towel rail, so do take some warm clothing.

We orded  breakfast witch was excellent and brought up to us (54 steps) in an basket every moorning!

The breakfast delivered to our door was just right, and could also work as a takeaway for anyone itching to get out and explore.

The bathroom was functional and the  kitchenette adequate, as we only made breakfast and lunch there.

Breakfast was really good too, everything was sourced locally and served in reusable pots.

I ordered breakfast everyday which was perfect to set up for a days walking.

I opted to pay for a daily (vegetarian) breakfast, which was delicious.

but has nice terraces with astonishing view, the hotel is overall cosy and clean, and a rich breakfast is served directly at your room.

At this time (end of May) a lot of places seemed to be closed both here and the close by villages.

I'm not a fan of white (seemingly stale) bread and bananas so I was pretty much stuffed as to what I could eat.

Even with the plug-in radiator on full we were still cold.

In our room there was an oil radiator which we put on and that warmed the room a little.

But the rooms have heaters and someone even lit a wood fire downstairs in the lounge area of the hotel, so we could have a warm sit down after supper.

but delicious meal of fresh bread and dips to start and squid in tomato sauce with Gomeran potatoes, wonderful.

The room was comfortable and the shower had good pressure and plentiful hot water.

Food all cooked by mama (the best) with ingredients from the island. Try the goat stew (with spuds and a few veg could easily become scouse) or if veggie/vegan ask for Garbanzas without meat (chickpea stew)

It was all really tasty, and clearly using mostly local ingredients.

We had breakfast which was a typical Spanish start with egg, bread, bananas, cheese jam etc and wonderful fresh squeezed orange juice and good coffee.

We got a very warm welcome from the moment we arrived with a delicious home cooked evening meal and a generous tasty breakfast.

The floors are very cold  and the ceiling is high do it takes time to heat.

It is over 1000 metres and it gets cold at night, or even in the daytime if the sun isn't shining- wearing fleeces indoors seems to be the norm.

I asked for a non smoking room and was given a room 107 on first floor.

even though it reeked of smoke and had a smoking allowed sign.

My understanding is that the hotel is non-smoking throughout, so I do not understand earlier reviewer marshall01's comments (unless prior guests had flauted the rules).

The worst thing was going to bed under a top cover strongly smelling of smoke. Awful.

It’s clean and comfortable and the only downside was that the windows opened onto a well in the building so there was no view of anything

The windows did not lock and the noise created by the other guests general movement was a distraction.

On arrival all windows, curtains and shutters were closed and room has strong smell of smoke.

Very good breakfast with local products, including fruits, eggs and bread.

The bedroom was spacious and very clean and the breakfast served the next morning in the courtyard was amazing with local fresh fruits and a great choice of both hot and cold options.

Excellent breakfasts especially the home made bread and croissants fresh from the oven.

And then our breakfast made by Denis with fresh fruits, figues, and an option the most healthy homemade smoothie with fresh cut Aloe Vera.

We found breakfast substantial enough to keep us going until evening.

We had breakfast in the morning in the cute patio with fresh products out of their garden.

but the town is not exactly pretty in the `chocolate-box' sense of a similar seaside village in Devon.

In the house you can only relax for the rest is there or in the town not much for do.

Very quite on Sundays only one restaurant open and a couple bars,otherwise all good rooms are clean,continental breakfast was good.

Breakfast was disappointing with no fruit, very little choice, poor presentation, no ambiance and very old school music.

Our terrace space opening out from the apartment was a perfect place to relax and have breakfast.

Just 3 minutes walk from it there was a little supermarket where you could practically buy everything you needed to prepare yourself a nice breakfest or even cook a warm meal if you wanted.

but well worth it for the peace and quiet, and stunning breakfast sunrise views.

Running the length of the bedroom and living room was a verandah (with a roof) with a table and chairs to sit and have breakfast watching the sun rise over the sea.

They can be reached in few minutes from the harbour by Taxi or if you like to climb the stairs going up to the mountain.

..most nights we got a taxi back up which was only €6.
