The bed was lovely and comfortable and the bathroom was a decent size.

Bed was nice and soft which gave me the good quality sleep with nice pillows as well.

McDonald's and Burger King is 10 min walk.

The rooms are spacious and perfectly clean, provided with fridge, kettle, air dryer and a large, comfortable bed.

The hotel truly lives up to its motto, you get a good night sleep because the beds are extremely comfortable.

We stayed in a Dream Ocean King room (again) with a nice view of the beach and the pool.

Perfect location, beautiful gardens & pool, darn good food and a huge comfortable bed to die for, not to mention the extremely and efficient staff.

The staff are pleasant and the breakfast pretty good.

We went twice to their burger restaurant, burgers were delicious,

The breakfast was extraordinary and very well suited for western tastes.

Suggestions for the hotel: We would like to have Soft sunbeds next time and a bit more variety for breakfast.

however I am satisfied with the restaurant in front of the hotel used for breakfast buffet.

Very friendly employees, the breakfast is unbelievable and the beachfront bar has very good food.

Breakfast included with a big variety of choices.

Breakfast had loads of choice, everything for us and the kids.

At the restaurante we especially appreciated the large choice of food, both Western and Thai , for breakfast and ate some good pizzas and other dishes for lunch.

The hotel is actually as we know Thailand for its best: great location (right on the beach), great food (for breakfast or at the bar or at the Stack restaurant), great service (very helpful, clean, prompt) and great value!

We also purchased lunch on a few occasions and again this was also delicious.

The reception is very friendly and helpful, the breakfast is always very well filled, the rooms are a bit small

Fantastic breakfast buffet each day with a fabulous choice of food.

I said that this is not going to happen, as they are charging us for something that they do not deliver.

They also handled the seating chart, seating name cards, and so many more details that I didn't know they'd handle.

After complaining Management replied to me saying all establishments in Thailand had these charges.

Feels and looks more like a 20$ a night room rather than  the 100-125$ they’re charging - STAY AWAY

I used my credit card and they asked if I wanted to use the rate provided by my credit card (as in pay with Thai Baht) or to use the mastercard conversion rate.

I paid 3000 thb for a 3500 beverage credit as we ate at the pol most of the lunch times.

You hand in the towel card which the reception put four towels on our card did not have a problem after that.Bring the towels back you get the towels mark off and card back.

To underline the attention paid to customer satisfaction, I unexpectedly had a birthday cake delivered to my room, along with a card from the management team - I assume they picked up my date of birth from my booking details.

but this is all part of the holiday and they don't hassle you when you say no thanks, only gripe is prices bit expensive for drinks and food plus they add service charges which I think is wrong

They charge 500 baht, which is preposterous given the distance.

We were then charged full amount for the transfer.

You have to give the card to get towels and they give it back to you when they get the towels back.

but keep in mind that Chaweng is super busy, a little grubby and taxis seem to always want to charge 500 baht or for wherever you need to go.

however this time around was charged 500baht for a smaller car, which is still a SUV type a vehicle.

CON: The hotel was overbooked when we checked in and the reception manager refused to give us two key cards to our room.

but then a 7% government tax plus 10% compulsory service charge gets added AND then the slip has an area for "tip" as well.

but we were told to go to the bar and order drinks and it would be ready in 15 minutes, so we went and ordered drinks and sat down to look around and then one of the receptionists came with our key card.

Pool towel are supplied with exchange of a pool card.

Some charges were allocated twice to different rooms,

Special credits for the racks for hanging wet clothes at the balcony and the very thoughtful cup holder at the bed cushioned panel which we only discovered on our third day.

With the excellent Stacked Burger restaurant just beside it rounded off another great say in Samui.

on the beach gorgeous pool perfect service good food everything is just perfect!!!!

Also very good service, food and drinks at the poolbar.

Room cleaning wasn't done until 5 PM,  just when you arrive from the beach and want to get ready with shower etc before dinner.

The Stacked Burger next door is also really good.

Stacked is a restaurant connected to the hotel and has tasty burgers.

I could not think of anything that I didn't like and would like to thank Ozo hotels and staff for making our stay very comfortable and pleasant.

It was an excellent stay and an astonishingly clean room as well as the resort was in top condition.

but in the evening you have only the lights in the room and they are very small.

Keep in mind that the rooms are very small, the balcony is tiny.

Nice clean room with really comfy beds & pillows only one little draw back is that the rooms were rather small with regards to storage space not enough cupboard space and no where to store your suitcase's, everything else fantastic.

The hotel is right on the beach with great food and warm, welcoming staff, especially Toni and his team.

Stayed for 8 days good location for getting around koh Samui and  hotel is right on the beach front.

In the end me and my partner went to the CELES beach resort and hotel to sunbath and swim for 300 baht each!

The sea view is lovely and the hotel beach provides warning flags for jellyfish and rough seas.

From the reviews we knew that this was a budget hotel on the the beach.

The only good point is the hotel backs onto the beach

You can walk to night street 2 choices is road in front of hotel and beach!!

Also, this resort has 10 beach chairs only.

The hotel even keeps the beach clean each morning.

The hotel is on Bo Phut beach and you can walk to Fisherman’s from the hotel’s beach.

But they live on the beach which is where the hotel sits on.

Oh and they do massages on the beach as well as at the hotel, which is a must with the beautiful beach view!

Booked this deal with Thomas cook and pleasantly surprised,hotel situated on beautiful bophut beach,the ibis had everything we required, the location was perfect to walk along the beach to fisherman’s village,about a 15 minute walk, once there you’ve got so much choice of shops restaurants bars.

There are really nice resorts along bophut beach to eat at.

Myself and husband have recently rerurned from our 5th visit  to the ibis bophut beach.

The hotel is located on the quieter end of Bophut beach, about a 15 minute walk from Fisherman's village.

My kids were very happy at it's three pools, okay breakfast and surrounding area also offers great support to stay at Bophut beach.

Better are the seats which face the sea, a great place to relax and enjoy your time on Bophut beach.

Hotel is right on the beach and has a lovely outlook over Bophut beach from pool area.

We had nice accomodation and the hotel is placed by the nice Bophut beach and near The Fisherman Village which is exiting to visit.

The resort itself is right on Bophut Beach and the grounds are kept to a high standard.

This is a perfectly good hotel on the lovely Bophut Beach (much quieter than Chaweng or Lamai).

The hotel occupies an enviable position directly on Bophut Beach and is close to Fisherman's Village.

but the hotel is just on Bophut beach so no need of transportation to get to the sea.

The sand is a lot softer than Bophut Beach.

The hotel is nice and in the heart of Bophut beach.

It is a budget hotel and was part of the Ibis chain until it was recently taken over by a Thai conglomerate.

Overall for a low key, low budget weekend was perfect and would be more than happy to stay again

There are also a few thai restaurants in walking distance for some cheap grub.

This Hotel "bills itself" as a, "international economy" hotel- providing lodging, three swimming pools and other services at a very reasonable price.

Staying here 2 nights with very affordable price and breakfast included.

Spent 10 nights at the Ibis absolutely stunning grounds for a budget hotel.

The Ibis is a clean, cheap to midrange and cheerful hotel.

Good food and clean rooms I was barely out of the room he was already cleaned it.

Most days the offerings were fried rice, rice porridge for the Asian guests, nasty little sausages, another one or two hopefully hot dishes which were usually just more carbohydrates (European style soup weirdly a couple of times and a very gristly minced pork dish another few times) and the usual cereal of cornflakes and some chocolate flavoured cereal for the kids, the usual very limited bakery items and luckily fresh pineapple and watermelon.

The first thing we noticed was the smell of damp.

people like to smoke where ever not great when kids or none smokers about.

The rooms are filthy bedding dirty dust on every unit they smell like they have been dormant for months.

After looking this up on the internet, we discovered this is an indication of sewage spills from resorts. gross!

Had a bad musty smell to the point I choose to leave it turned off, a big distraction to my stay, . .

The biggest and really only complaint I have is that smoking areas are not enforced.

but could not because a number of men were smoking, leading to a choking feeling for me.

Actually, I  did that this morning and the ocean was disgusting the whole way along. Really.

I noticed many of the rooms had a damp smell coming from the air conditioning system.

We requested to change rooms as we were allocated one in a dingy corner facing the brick wall of another hotel and it smelt damp-considering it was shoulder season I would have expected better.

Reservation was made through LeClub Accorhotels apps and upon arrival I was given an upgrade to Oceanview room on Building 4 (I think after first 2 stays in the past, I always returned back to reception and reported the room smells of mold).

but smelled damp and musty, we rectified that ourselves, but we should not have to!

The Standard rooms are small, clean and mine was smoke smell free.

Then their husbands turned up smoking and playing loud music which caused people to disperse to the almost non existant beach 
I think these things must be addressed as we suffered 13 days of this which ruined our holiday .

The smell of damp is not nice and hard to cover up 😢.

but our room in building 2 was small, a bit damp (fan in bathroom not working) with a view of a wall and a worksite where they started drilling something at 9am on Christmas Day morning!

No other storage so we are storing our things in our case on the floor.

There’s not even a shelf to put stuff on , like phones cameras and other bits and pieces you tend to carry around.

I do recommend that you use the storage under the beds otherwise it can become a little crowded!

Basically more space and get two bathrooms and double the space.

To be honest there isn’t much space for much.

Nowhere to hang up your clothes, and no space for a wardrobe.

but 3 days in to a 13 night holiday the quiet pool sign was taken away and the space turned into a very noisy pool, we complained about this and were told that a lot of families had arrived so the quiet pool had to be used to accommodate them our feelings were not taken into consideration and on that basis we would not consider a return to this hotel.

Also,  there is no place to sit and no table or desk and dont imagine you have wardrobe space as this is at a premium on a first come first served basis.

all 138 rooms identical with minimal storage and small decks .

but thats not a problem after all its mostly shorts and vest tops in my suitcase.There is clever suitcase storage space under the bed too.The rooms have a shower, safety deposit box,fridge,tv,air con and 2 bottles of free water.
