The only problem I always have in wintertime is that there is no possibility to change the temperature of the room if the heating is on.

When question why are the bills not acceptalbe, his response was the Bank of China will not accept defective bills.

Switching on aircon means switching on the heater instead and made the room very hot.

When we first arrived, we had to ask for help in cooling the room in that the thermostat was a little tricky to figure out.

Seemed random if the thermostat would work or not.

I have been coming to Changzhou for over 18 years on business and this Shangri-La La/ Traders Hotel was always on my top 2 facilities in the city.

We stayed in the Traders Fudu for 5 nights on a business trip and were overwhelmed by how friendly and supportive all the staff were as well as the quality of food and restaurants they had available, there were also many other foreign business people at this hotel which made it feel a little more homely.

Trader's Club worth it for small business meetings and drinks.

Business trip here was made very pleasant by friendly staff and efficient local arrangements.

Fantastic hotel with amazing service and the most wonderful staff - especially Daisy and Gulia in the Club Lounge.

If you have the time, or book a club room; try to visit the Traders Club Lounge on the top floor and hopefully you meet Giulia.

I especially enjoyed meeting Jenny in the club lounge this visit, as she was very friendly every night and always made sure I had what I needed.

The service in the club lounge on the 31st floor is flawless!

Most importantly, the food that was supposed to be hot was hot and the food that was supposed to be cold was cold.

At this time, it is always difficult to get a cab; especially if it is raining or cold.

The only minus is that is a bit cold in the lobby in winter time.

She then brought me a glass of ice tee, all I wanted was a cold beer.

However, what annoys me very much was that the hotel switched off air conditioning because it’s “cold season”.

I would highly recommend to join the Executive lounge, Giulia is very welcoming and friendly.

I went to the lobby lunch with my wife and we share a great time there with a good atmosphere and nice service,especially Alisa that was very kind and always smiling,I recommend to try the tea and the Mexican menu that was very tasty

They really looked after our needs and served great food with their amazing smiles!

Went there with my girl, it’s quite convenient, near by Wanda shopping mall, and there were a lot of bars and restaurants around the hotel.

The environment and food is excellent and the staff is amazing.

The hotel is conveniently located near several good restaurant.

Overall, this is a decent hotel in good location, lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance.

We also enjoyed many meals at lunch and dinner.

Possibly the best hotel around, spent 10 days here and completely impressed not only with service,

entertainment, entainters need more upbeat in the song,  it can't be all slow song that can put you to sleep and a waiter/ bar tender suggesting a bottle because it was already opened is not a good idea because it turns out to be a bad red wine.

The only improvement I would like to see is the WiFi was very slow.

although the Wi Fi is a little weak and slow.

Two things that I have to complain was that the check in process was a bit slow.

but there is old school wired internet which is fine (slow, but on par with the speed I get in other hotels in china).

The only thing that lets the hotel down, as a 5* is that they allow smoking in the lobby bar.

Worst thing was a smell of cigarette smoke in the corridors and the room.

The shower was not the cleanest either and the grout needing a good scrubbing to remove the mold build up.

but that wouldn't really help the smell of smoke all over the place.

Let me mention Gina mainly working in coffee garden, she is the most caring person in whole hotel, perfect English and very funny.

Giulia in the breakfast hall was very attentive and the eggs were amazing.

Daniel Shi was very helpful, patient and friendly.

The cleaning staff is super helpful and friendly.

It is amazing how a small amount of kindness can make a big impression on you.

Staff are friendly and their English is very good; far superior to my Chinese!

The hotel is very nice and Giulia, Carry, Kalden, and David were great and always very helpful.

This hotel provide a health club and spa.

I booked the club floor and so we had access to the club lounge as well.

I would like to say a special THANKS to Grace, one of the staff member at horizon club.

We booked a club room for 2 nights and were very impressed by Yuki and Vivian who went out of their way to help us.

Happy hour is a war zone on club floor, zero food left, 3 minutes after they did replacement, exactly same on next morning breakfast.

I would recommend improving the food in the main restaurant and VIP club.

At the moment, this Hotel is exceptional value as you can book a "Horizon Club" room for much less than £100 per night and this entitles you to a free buffet breakfast and cocktails each evening in the Lounge.

The Horizon Club on the 17th floor offers private dining and happy hour (or three) each evening with complimentary food and drink.

Staff at the Horizon Club Lounge, viz Ashley Han, Cindy Liu and Missy Liu are helpful, friendly and considerate.

in Changhzou is located out of center , easy access , gym and pool not tested ( can't rate them ),  
If possible visit Orizon Club happy hour from 17 to 19:30 , the bar at first floor is not bad at hall.

Hot water mysteriously disappeared on the second day, the repair people told me I just didn't know how to rotate the knob to "hot".

A high standard hotel should be the combination of room’s quality, surrounding environment, service and food.

It’s not my first time to check in this hotel, the room service and swimming pool is pretty good!

Everything in the restaurant meet my demand, from the decorations to the lake view, the enthusiastic staff except for the food quality, for example: the steam bun with meat is something similar to the one servicing on a flight, smoked meat is really hard and salty.

We are planning to have the dinner at the hotel tonight and looking forward to it!

We had our networking event dinner at Shangri-La,it was well organized as always,our guest was surprised with the great service from the staff.

We have been taught to use hotpot and how to use chop stick.

The restaurants here are equally good as well, especially the Japanese restaurant.

The hotel itself is nice, the rooms are decorated and the beds are very comfortable.

It is a good place to drive there, this hotel offer the 5 stars service and guest rooms,it has a swan lake.

The rooms are beautiful and really well finished, the value for money is amazing, and whilst the location is not ideal for some I personally have no problem with it.

They definitely recruit and train really well at the Shangri La, and you will struggle to find the same level of service in almost all other hotels.

The cabinets are dirty and smells horrible.

However, as I entered into it, it smelled the same.

The staffs are very kind and can speak english.

Whenever I met them I see a welcome smile on their faces.
