The weirdest part of the rooms was that the rooms had an internal door opening into the room right next to you 😳 (but these doors were ALWAYS locked out) 

Anyway, the pool here is good,

Had to rely on housekeeping to open the doors. 7.

There's a small gap slit in the doors (Atleast in our room 232).

Rooms very dirty, lock on door would not work.

On the negative side I felt the room upkeep could be improved - balcony door scraping the floor, confusing light switches, restricted menu for all day and a location that is awkward to locate.

First of all, that is not the time when you come to clear the room when the sign outside the door says "clean the room" from 8am.

The only issues I faced was when my Door lock malfunctioned and when I saw insects in my room..

They don't even have door mats outside the washroom area so whenever you step our of wet Washroom you'll be afraid of falling down.

The next the we faced problem with our room door lock.for that we had to wait for more than one hour outside the room 11 pm in the night.

At the time we visited, there was building work next door so could hear drilling etc during the day.

Dont cater for international  guests..British..A huge hotel  being built next door noise is shocking !

We were so scared that we did not open the door.

Luckily I was in and we could get the door open.

Rooms are poorly maintained - ours had loose door hinges, broken toilet seat cover, broken window curtain, loose electrical sockets and extremely poor acoustics.

On checkin had issues with room like fan not working bathroom door latch not working.

however if you like to stay at the hotel pool I would recommend a different hotel while the building work is being completed next door.

Then there is the building work going on next door, major as in what looks a new hotel being built, The thing for me was that some buses refused to go down the road to the Hotel so you are dropped off at the end of the road and left to pull your cases down the road to the hotel and same on the way back about 3 to 4 hundred metres, when we left I asked at reception if they could help with cases to the bus they said no there was no transport to the road end, my thought was that is what the golf buggy was for ???

Building work going on next door which starts early and is noisy 7 days a week and.guests are sat at bar near pool been noisy past 3am.

Next door they are building ,so at times it's tap ,tap  away.But it's not too bad anyway.

We had a great family time, friendly staffs.

Thanks to the guest Host Resham who is so customer friendly.

The staff right from the front desk and restaurant to the housekeeping, were all quite friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay here, staffs are very friendly  and helpful,  rooms are good for couples,  resham and Kiran  was very helpful throughout the say, we will definitely  visit next year.

The Staff were helpful and friendly, the breakfast was good, the location as well - it was a walking distance to Calangute Beach and marketplace and there were places to eat and supermarkets nearby.

Kids friendly hotel, swimming  pool also is very clean.

We stayed with family of 3 (husband, wife and 4 years kid) in July first week of 2022.

My son enjoys a lot in the kids area and we saw other kids enjoying there too.

Hotel is surely good with different services of food, swimming pool, gym, kids playground and 1.3 km from Calangute beach.

Pool was very good and narayan pool boy helped alot. .

Would like to call out some names: Payel and Prema from the restaurant - they would always ensure that my little one (1 year old) i swell seated, feeling well, would pamper him always,  Resham from the front desk - lovely warm hearted girl who would ensure you are all happy with your stay, and Head Chef Shiv Vishal - he ensured that my 1 year old had his kind of food.

The pools are great for the kids and food at the breakfast buffet was excellent.

Stayed in ibis for the first time, so Happy with the hospitality provide by the reception staffs, room was amazing, we used the gym as well, kids was very happy at pool and kids area, resham Kiran and majbul special thanks to you guys.

I stayed for 5 nights and 6 days with my parents and 2 teenage daughters and had booked 3 rooms with the hotel.

It was amazing stay with ibis style, my family and kids both are satisfied with the hotel hospitality.

The Warmth and affection towards the kids is what led us to never wanting to step out for a meal.

On entering,I found rooms very small and was about to change

All rooms are small and may not be good choice for families and only suitable for couple.

-Very small rooms, not ok especially when your with kids.

Housekeeping should be better..rooms are far too small for 4 star hotel .

The room was really small and so was the bed.

At the corner of the hotel’s entrance there is a small room where a person operates car and bike rental services, you dont have to wander here and there unless you are a wanderlust.

On talking on the reception, the same was handled in a very rude manner stating the non availability of rooms and were told to check ourselves if they were available .The rooms are small with queen size beds in all rooms and having frequent power cut.

Best hotel, room were cleaned, staff were so supportive, superb experience, main thing is room is veryuch clean, hygeine, fresh.

All the staff was very courteous in providing a different experience to us.

I came here after seeing tarak mehta ka olta chashma and from there i made mind if it is goa it must be ibis style goa the best front desk experience and special thanks to smith and murari for amazing service

The Hospitality of the spice it restaurant hotel Is amazing.

As a Self-employed tour-opérateur in EU this staff, accommodation, food, swimming pool, Gym, the important breakfast (tremendous lavishly compared with other EU ones) are really far-out!

Thanks to Narayan at the swimming Pool & Chanchali who was the best at her house keeping service.

Stay here was very comfortable and my daughter (4 years) was also very happy because she has Kids play area to play and Kids swimming pool also.

We will surely check out those Fish Thali recommendations on our next trip to Goa 🙂

I stayed for 6 days & 5 nights, all day Mr. Rakesh was always available near swimming pool all the time & helping us.

10 min walk to beach , all restaurants are close by , ample parking space , 3 swimming pools , fantastic staff , variety in breakfast , courteous staff - always smiling and ready to help , rooms are ok for 2 adults and 1 kid , special mention to resham who took care in fantastic stay

The ibis style hotel is far better then a five star hotel it has everything to offer right from 3 swimming pools to a gym, gardens , and what should I tell about the staff they where just amazing we where travelling with a 7 months baby Resham at the reception was by far the best person we have ever met in goa such a caring person was playing with our child we had great tym over here at ibis people should visit these instead of going to a 5 star hotel 😀😀😀 will surely go again ❤️

Rooms are neat and tidy, swimming pool is inviting one.

The decor is very breezy and every room has a balcony that overlooks the swimming pool.

I liked the Resham mam which was staff in cafeteria and she was very kind and very corporative and i liked the life guard (Naryan) at the 4ft swimming pool and he was also very kind and asked me to meet him while check out ibis is good hotel with very good staff and with a nice swimming pool .A liftime experience with the staff, thank you

Rooms near the first swimming pools is what I recommend, Rooms near the second swimming pool faces each other and have Zero privacy.

The rooms were nice and cozy, and each room had a private balcony to it, most of them complete with a gorgeous view of the swimming pool.

They have 2 swimming pools, rooms are great, beautiful and spacious restaurant, excellent and helpful staff and most importantly they take all the necessary precautions for COVID.

but the staffs have handled it with utmost professionalism and care, and they came up with solutions in a swift way.

He sent us a detailed itinerary of places to visit and always made sure we had all the necessary things taken care off for our local visits.

However, Ms.Nandini, a manager at the front desk took care of the issue and she was also helpful.

We had  very relaxing time and really enjoyed the stay, special mention for the housekeeping boys - Saheel and Gopal who took care of the room comforts well and showed some examples of nice creativity 👌.

He just asked for the medical proof which I shared and he took care of the rest.

Ms. Khevana Parekh was assigned to take care of all requirements of the group.

Our stqy was for 3 days in Goa Marriot resort'
, the time we entered we had a very wonderful host Pranay, he took care of every small aspect from the time we arrived till the time we left.

He personally takes care of all the guests .

The staff has been very courteous specifically Mr Shivender who took care of every minute details related to comforts.The food, the ambience, the location and extra courteous staff all stand out.

Guest incharge called Priyanka took really good care from check in till last day.

but this time writing the review is the experience which I had with one of the staff who take care of customers really well, I would like to name her Ms. Tamara . .

Also extensive care taken by Mr Vijay Singh & Mr Amit at poolside leisure.

I have an allergy to certain foods, so was introduced to the Head Chef and all my meals for the duration of my stay were taken care off, in addition to this, special dishes were created so I was able to enjoy certain meals that would not normally be available to me.

When my wife fell ill, they looked after us with all the care of a family.

The staff was so courteous and took wonderful care of us.

tldr; Nicely appointed and very clean rooms with an amazing view of the sea complimented by exceptional service in the Waterfront restaurant where the personal care by Rajendra and his team made for a very memorable stay.

We were group of retired friends and marriots took care of our all needs and made this long awaited trip amazing  .

Hotel is friendly to fit travellers as well.

He was kind, friendly and so helpful when there was an issue with hour room.

He is the most warm hearted, friendly and approachable staff that I have come across in my so many years of travel.

Right from the airport pick up to the seem- less check in ( thanks to an ever helpful Shubham), to the friendly staff at the waterfront cafe to our stay and check out everything was smooth.

This hotel provides  exceptional customer service, all the staff were courteous, very friendly and accommodating, It was a great experience, keep up the good work.

The place was very clean and the staff were very friendly!

Very poor rooms , the passage in pathetic as all the wooden floorings interlocking are open .

The two poor things about this resort are below par service and ill maintained rooms and lobby (wallpaper was torn, furniture was smudged, hallways had soiled carpet and wooden flooring was ageing).

Despite poor service, there are plenty of attempts made to justify and deflect the issue.

I faced poor mobile network issues inside hotel.

* No warm welcome during arrival
* No Information provided by front desk - about basic & foremost amenities like internet services, playing area for kids , casino etc.

However, we soon found out that the actual hotel is quite old and the pool was especially in poor condition (pool lights floating off the wall and old fashioned metal steps to get in and out), and the hotel electrics need a re-wire (our power went off 3 times in our bedroom).

So far our experience has been very poor.

The buffet on the first day (lunch) of our stay was poor!

But the poor air-conditioning had me sweating even inside my room,

The patio-sea view rooms are to die for- sea at your private doorstep!

The room was great and the view was beautiful.

If you take a patio room then the sea is steps away from you, which not many resorts will have as a feature.

Amazing location and best view from sea facing rooms.

The Seaview rooms give a great view of the mandovi river merging with the sea.

Thanks to shubam front office duty manager a very humble and courteous person to make us shift to a better sea view room.

The beach is landing spot for ferries so outsiders have a clear view of your room which is quite creepy.

1) Best waterfront view from the room (based on the room category you choose to stay)

2) Most courteous staff at the front desk, especially when it comes to the requirement of the child.

The view from our patio room was breathtaking and we could walk down to the beach!

The property is really beautiful and the sea view from the room is just perfect.

The beach side deck bed room is the best view .

We had a bay view room , specious and comfortable.

Pranay was kind and polite who provided helpful information and connected well with same social circle

The good is good as always along with the view from.the room is stunning capturing Goa well

She was very helpful and thank her for getting those Awesome bay view rooms which we thoroughly enjoyed.

The stay here is a nice experience with private beach and the view from the room is mesmerizing along with that there are many water activities held and the maintance of the hotel is also good

service is slow, housekeeping took so much time to get our bags while checking out (20 mins +)  that we ourselves got most of our bags from the room.

the service of waterfront was a little slow.

Expect web access to be so slow that it's nearly useless.

Stay was overall good… property was older and restaurant service was little slow.. ..

The service during the period when they could be used was a little slow, so we ended up not really getting the benefit from the package.

Only drawback at restaurant was service, it was too slow, had to repeatedly ask them for ordered food, drinking water etc.

This time the service was extremely slow.

2) Waiting staff at pool is quite thin and slow.

), restaurant staff was slow and the lounge, which was understandably crowded during the happy hours, is staffed by some very uncheerful people.

Service was very slow at breakfast and often orders were incorrectly taken.

Only one thing that could make the hotel better is the pool service was quite slow for drinks and food.

housekeeping was little slow and the patio couches were with red ants. .

but the service is super slow as most of the staff are interns.

The pool is a little small for such a big hotel.

The pool was really small and very crowded.

182 rooms at hotel, pool is too small plus only 71 sunbeds.

The pool is quite small for the number of guests

The bad - My room just as i checked in was smelling so bad (as if a rat had died) that i refused to get in.

This is an extraordinary inconvenience, unless you enjoy sleeping in your own sweat or don't mind constantly turning the system back on.

the hotel itself is going through some touch ups and I would advice them to lose the carpets as it tends to smell once wet .

The hotel is 20 years old, the hallways are dirty with stained carpets,the rooms are small and dirty and the „beach“ is a bad smelling dark garbage dump, you can’t and should not go into the water as garbage is flooding down the river.

Following the storms, the only pool at the resort was shut down for a few days because of all the debris.

but it was stinking heavily and was nauseating,   The housekeeping said they had sprinkled some insecticide etc.

Well, it was not a great start as we had to wait for car pick up at airport to 10 minutes, car was stinking like hell,
