Food, specially breakfast is as good as it ever was, same with the hospitality and service.

Staying at the property allows you an experience of the beach, with a great swimming pool, dozens of activities, awesome buffets and an extremely responsive support staff.

the lavish breakfast is very unique in style and has a lot to offer.

The staff is polite, housekeeping at its best, buffet is wonderful.

It was a 4 night stay for my family and me, and we literally looked forward to the scrumptious buffet spread in Kokum Kitchen, which is really famous for seas food and continental cuisine!

Taj fort Aguada …what can I say about this hotel.. have been coming here for the last  35 odd years and still feels nothing has changed in terms of their hospitality .. the food , the rooms and most importantly the courteous nature of the staff.. 
it’s always been the Taj n it will always remain like that.. 
the meal we had in the Banyan Tree restaurant was outstanding .. the lunch that was prepared for us by Chef Debyendu and his team was out of this world.. 
the breakfast we had in the village was fantastic.. 
all in all it was a fabulous holiday which we didn’t want to end..

If you reach for breakfast in the peak hour of 9:30am expect the staff to forget your order or to get it wrong.

The Buffet  was not that good   and the Taj should give some  discounts to the  EPICURE CUSTOMER OF TAJ FOR dinner and  Lunch  overall the experience was very good and the reception staff was very good ,helpful and co operative

but they surprised us again the next day on her birthday when we went for breakfast, they decorated the room for the birthday got the musicians and the staff and we all celebrated the occasion.

The views our absolutely mind blowing and the best part is one can - travel to the nearby Taj Holiday Village too using their own free shuttles so one can enjoy 2 properties at the price of one..even the breakfasts are interchangeable!

During breakfast buffets, please put in a few tables with two-seater capacity also.

Must mention Mr Gautam at the breakfast in Taj Village who extremely hospitable.

When you stay here you can also visit taj holiday village for breakfast

They recommended us Grand 7 casino which was very close to hotel.

We had to call the housekeeping multiple times during our stay to get spiders, worms and lizard out of the room.

But again we had to call the center and make this Fortaquarda booking at a higher cost.

In the end, it closed by itself and we had to call in a mechanic.

Service was prompt & didn't have to call twice for any reminders.

Taj Fort Aguada doesnt quite deliver for the following reasons
1) Our room with a garden facing sitout..room looks like any mid- level hotel room,with a slightly musty smell..the sitout has no privacy..loud neighbour chatting on mobile on one side and smoking neighbour on the other.

Check-out billing process, rude call to check out the room at 12:30 PM, small cockroaches in the room at the ground floor, no light on the pool table were a few of them.

Had to call the tech who fixed it promptly

The phones and watch plugs just couldn't get connected to the power supply to get charged.

It keeps ringing after the operator connects to the concerned desk.No reply is the most frustrating aspect of the service.

The response of house keeping is lethargic, the person answering the calls require training.

Valini for taking my "distress" phone calls at 3 am and being there to fix things .

Finally received the call Sindya Fernandes 
She was very rudely spoken.

This happened over multiple phone calls!!!

but cannot call it a five star property .

So,After a long wait of 4 days of without power,water,internet and even phone signals.Me n my husband checked into this beautiful Taj property called Taj Aguada resorts and spa for a day n kept extending our stay till the time things got normal back at home.

Repeated complaints to the front desk went unanswered and we were forced to stay in these conditions for the entire duration of our stay.

He used to check with us if we needed anything and he always stocked up extra in our room so that we never had to call for anything.

The telephone helpline was a disaster, though.

Also room size is relatively small especially bathrooms and the overall furniture also needs some renovations.

When we arrived checkin in #136 we have booked for four nights it has lot of mosquitoes and sewage smell as well as washroom is very small.

but the rooms are not well structured as the bathrooms are very small and a lot of space is wasted just for the balcony.

The TV is sited so that only one machine faces it.Nothing like other Taj gyms

The rooms were very spacious and modern, the gym was well equipped and manned with staff that was eager-to-help, the spa facilities were great, and dining-in options were plentiful for days when you'd like to stay at the hotel.

Chapora Fort is right next to the hotel and highly recommended for sunset views.

Just outside and perched above the hotel is chapora fort, which is great for a short trek, go early around 9 am to avoid the crowds.

It’s bang on vagator beach below chapora fort.

Located towards the Northern part of Goa, near Chapora Fort Market.

The BEST thing about this hotel - it nestles beautifully below Chapora Fort and merges almost seamlessly into the natural greenery of the hillside.

One has to sit here in the lobby at sundown toll rut understand what it does to some beautiful views of the valley to one side and the Chapora fort to the other.

The location of this place is right next to the chapora fort and vagator beach.

Chapora fort was not even 10 minutes walk, anyone would love to visit once.

Excellent location, on top of the hill, right next to Chapora fort, Vagator.

It is located at the vagator beach and very close to the Chapora fort.

Located near chapora fort hidden among hills, the hotel is located probably at the most beautiful and scenic places..the restaurant was on top of a hill ..lush greenery all around and the distant view of the ocean made it worth it ..The drive itself was amazing.

Around the hotel - u can walk 400 metres to the Chapora fort if you fancy great views. Scooters.

It is located next to the Chapora fort (or as mostly people know "Dil Chahata Hai" movie fort).

Location - the hotel is located at the base of Chapora fort and has direct access to the beach.

Next morning, Sharukh also took us on a small trek on the Chapora fort.

I was especially looked after very well by Shahrukh at the gym who also took us for a beautiful trek at the chapora fort and nearby .

He alongwith Diptesh Naik organised Chapora Fort trek for us which we really loved.

Almost a 1.5hrs drive from the Airport,right at the Vagator Beach is W Goa.Just next to the Dil Chahta Hain aka Chapora Fort lies this super 25 acre lush green property.

Keys get discharged locked out doors get blocked and what not.

They claimed to be a technical glitch, they gave fresh key which also did not work.

but unable to send a 2nd key in few mins.

Being locked in due to the pandemic for over 5 months, this place was everything you needed for a little R&R to get back to work.

We had to wait outside our room for 45 mins after we had left our key inside the room, inspite of calling them several times, they do their job on their own sweet time.

If that was not all the cleaning chap who came to clean the dressing room at night locked the door from inside god knows why.. We were sitting in the bed side area only to wonder why he had to lock the door.

Key disappointment for us was that our rate was non-cancellable 14 days out and 13 days out the rate dropped significantly.

The power in our villa kept going on and off, the technician came to clean the key sensor and went away saying it was fixed.

Despite requesting a late check-out, they locked me out of my room and we're quite unapologetic about it, blaming it on the system instead.

The reception staff came by while we were having breakfast and dropped off the key and our luggage was in the room when we got there.

but he refuse and told us we are sold out.Then we booked through Makemetrip and its conformed.There is guy on reception name gaurav he told us no rooms  not available and now he trying to test its sales capability and trying hard to sell their wow villas which was not worth.He keeps forcing us to take villa.We called makemytrip they said ur room is available there sir.worse part of the hotel is we have one room they are not giving the key of the room and gaurav guy in reception is most third class person i haven seen in this industry.Finally we  shouted him then he said sir room is available and we got room near around 7 o clock we reached there around 3.W for worse in india because of this person gaurav.

It is indeed a shame that a classy property such as the W is unable to sort key maintainence issues and what makes it worse is that they have the nerve to give such rooms to full rate paying holiday goers such as my wife and her 2 friends.

If you are out and come back after the check out time, the key would not work and you need to go all the way back to the reception to get it activated again. 7.

But overall the service lets the whole experience down.. To top everything off, when we were moving out, I handed over my valet tag.. And was surprised when the valet handed over my key, and pointed me in the direction of my car, which was at least 100 metres away.

but nobody informed us that the keycard will stop working.

My W stay = Damp moisture stinking rooms,spider webs around, broken washroom latch n curtain shield, no hot water in taps, cold + delay inroom dining services, staff begging for a tripadvisor review,helpless manager, GM missing.

Connection to the reception takes a long time n they also take a long time to connect us to rhe required person.amd the room service guy was stinking n down with very bad cold.

Further to harras me more during the program Nikhil.S came to lobby and gave angry stares and also at the time of leaving They also followed and made disgusting sounds in order to tease me .my overall experience was very appealing and left me in tears .

Room given to us was not clean (smelly) and we escalated to get it fixed on day 1.

Initially we were allotted a room which had strange stink.

My parents reached the property and were ushered into a dirty room where the bathrooms were filthy!

but the W staff made sure that our stay there didn't turn out to be a damp squib.

Even if it is not a proper restaurant, it is perfect to have lunch and take swim when the sun starts to burn.

but the rug and the carpet need replacing (there is an iron burn in the carpet) and the light couch in the living room needs cleaning or replacing.

Even the glasses at the kitchen restaurant were stained, smelly and chipped.

The first room we got for the early check-in was really stinky because of the water.

There was a smell of sewage, in the property, maybe that was due to the nearby construction on the property.

After changing two rooms due to musty smell, foul drainage odour, drilling work right outside the door, AC breakdown in the peak of summer not to mention clogged bathroom sinks we were exasperated and looking to get some relaxation anywhere

One of the rooms 3217 is stinking of dead rats.

If things could get 
worse we didn't like the room it looked run down and had a strange smell to it on citing the same to him he suggested I don't have any other option

but there are unfortunately NO umbrellas, so there's absolutely NO shade during the day - therefore unfortunately no option to lounge unless you want to get burned.

Only suggestion would be to cut back the vegetations which significantly block the sea view from balcony.

The restaurant was located at a lovely part of the hotel with views of the Arabian sea and the associated breeze at night in the open terrace.

And let's not forget the views of the trees and sea, your instagram and friends will thank you for blessing their phones.

Woobar is a small good bar with Sky View at reception area where we had chilled beer for 3 days with good music.

It was literally amazing feeling, Actually it was our first time been there ,beautiful views and we are really pleased with service from Seema ,excellent service really appreciated and thank you so much for giving us great service ,looking after us.

Had a wonderful experience with stunning sunset and tasty food.

The seafront villa was good views, the food is amazing and it's very near to the beach.

I had taken an upper grade balcony rooms thinking of a good view and a place to sit out in Solace.

The views, tropical greenery, and, architecture was astonishing!

The location of the hotel is Fantastic, the views from the rock pool are some of the best in Goa .

Food was yummilicious ,we were in one of the best chalet 016 facing sea ,supposed to be favorite of all bollywood personalities 😃.

Though the view wasn't really great from the bedroom, the big balcony compensated for the view.

The hotel will leave you stunned with the best services and breathtaking views , kudos to The entire team at W Goa for their hospitality.

a slip resistant rubber matt could be placed in the tub.

Bathroom fixtures are not fresh, bath tub fixtures are not proper - when enquired we got an answer that this was a 40 year old property.

The rooms had serious maintenance problems - from TV not working to the bath tub to the room fridge leaking!!.

Also becomes difficult for senior citizens to use a shower by climbing into a tub!

On reaching the room, we found that the bathtub was clogged.

There was 
 a muddy/dirty water flow in bath tub / shower area and sink taps.

The room was perfect, only thing lacking was a bath tub - something my three-year-old missed.

It was the worst thing that you had to stand in the tub bath and have a shower like a old fashioned local Indian hotels.

The bathtubs need to be removed as its completely out of style.

Along with that, they covered the tub with red roses.

Unfortunately, the bathtub was not operational in this room and hence we had to move again to another room.

Excellent experience overallSuggest the following:1.Spillage of water from bath cubicle should be avoided,, as there is risk of slippery floor and falling down, bath tub can be removed and improvements made.2.Cottage 1099 is facing west with direct sun in the afternoon;Providing a rolling screen in the front area will be helpful so that one can sit out and enjoy the breeze bereft of glare and heat;3.Locate TV at a lower leel4.Plan fruit bearing trees to attract more birds5.Reorient the bed in a such a way in Cottage 1099 such that while sleeping head  position is not north facing5.TV reception of NDTV and TImes now channels were getting interrupted at times;Pl look into

but charmingly decorated from inside, bathtub included.

Rooms are NOT updated (we were in 1076, 1078, 1079)
2) Bathrooms are small, and the tub is also the shower area - no segregation
3) The Holiday Village - despite it's size - has limited dining options (although you can use the restaurants at the Taj Aguada next door) 
4) Toiletries - reputed brand Forest Essentials used -

even though they were not in the spread of the lavish Buffet they happened to know that my favourite dish are burgers and they crafted a  special burger for me 'also to mention Chef Jaya who made  fresh Apple pies everyday as she knew it was my favourite.

but would like to mention one feedback about the selection of dishes in the Buffet.

The breakfast was better here than at Taj Ft. Aguada next door.

Mr Sunil at Caravela was a livewire, always on the move yet attentive to all customers and cheerful at breakfast time and did his job of managing the full capacity restaurant at breakfast time efficiently.

The food is great at Banyan tree and the buffet breakfast is very good at caravela .

Plenty of options to choose from for breakfast and other meals.

We mostly indulged in the buffet to start with

The breakfast buffet was amazing and all food items were delicious .

He also prepared extremely delicious biryani!

All BF items were kept very shabbily close to each other, Choice of breads was worst & everything tasted bad & inedible.

You need anything else apart from the buffet,Just talk to the chefs there and it is right there on your table.

Don't miss the breakfast spread in the morning served to perfection by the attentive restaurant staff.

The food was excellent and the  breakfast service was impeccable.

The smooth check in , the breakfast spread and the view of the sea make it all worth you while.

but had an amazing time there , lobby and passage was decorated with the innovative ideas, Amazing buffet spread 😍,  all staff is amazing and very attentive to the needs, the complementary mocktail offered was good .

Breakfast was a spread and the staff, especially Sunil went out of their way to look after us.

The breakfast spread at Caravela is one of the best I have ever had!

Big shout to Pradyumna and team for serving us delicious meal and also to Navnath and team for awesome housekeeping services.

It is worth mentioning the food at Caravela was delicious.

They have 3 restaurants Caravela(Multi cuisine, Coco beach n Banayan Tree( Thai).

Other activities: near to resort u can find a boat ride which takes u to see dolphins n other attractions can also be seen from here like aguada fort n jail, Coco beach some bungalows of rich people n a very nice view.

Special thanks to all the team for arranging a nice Dinner for our Anniversary make it all the more special, keep good care of these employees as they make the experience from good to Excellent.

From medicines to baby foods to doctor recommendation, we were assisted with everything possible.

Food is excellent,  
Everything  from housekeeping  , security,  reservations  and the bell boys is fabulous.

You cannot go to a Buffet lunch the next day & find the same Soup, same Anda Biryani etc. .

Restaurants in taj village are better than taj aguda.

Am happy that the deck at Caravela is getting renovated so next time we visit we eat while the sea waves play the music.

Food for the kids was a great help especially for the 8 months old baby and we thank Room Service and all the Chefs for this.

Highly recommend if you are travelling with a child - we got requested food for our daughter on time and the staff gave her gifts everyday to make her feel special- she did not want to leave!!

The food was awesome.

Sitting at the Beach House after a meal looking out at the lawns was a treat.

Chef Manoj of Caravela was brilliant both in his hospitality and food.

On all days, we opted for dinner as our additional meal and Chef Gopi truly went out of his way to serve us the best food!

Great rooms, tasty food and safe environment.

The chefs, the floor boys at the restaurant make sure to attend all the guests at the table for a sweet talk.

Staff, Service and Food makes this property more loveable.

Banyan tree is good option to explore Thai cuisine .

Banyan Tree has the most amazing Thai food.

My compliments to Dave, Nisha, Sara, Anamika, Gaurav, Bijay  the F&B including the Chef, the Butler @ Banyan Tree Thai Restaurant who really did an amazing job in making us feel so comfortable and their hospitality was par excellent.

Food both at the all day dining restaurant and thai restaurant was superb.

Lunch at Banyan Tree was unforgettable,  it would be one of the best Thai Food we ever had.

One located on the main beach Carvella (the main restaurant, we've breakfast is served) and a Thai restaurant.

We enjoyed lavish breakfast spread on all 3 days of our stay and one Thai dinner at Banyan Tree.

impeccable service,  Amazing food - we are vegetarians and the Thai, Chinese,  Italian, Indian- whatever we had was very nice !!

Their Thai speciality restaurant Banyan Tree is a must visit not just for the food,

The Banyan Tree restaurant serves delicious Thai food and cocktails with great view of park and geese waking around.
