load more ... - We missed two nights because we ventured into Playa del Carmen and took a ferry over to Cozumel which got us back late.
- The beach was in great shape and there was really no problem with the sargassum that I had heard has been plaguing Playa del Carment and Cancun.
- The hotel was beautiful, the ocean was clear (unlike in Playa), and the activities were bountiful.
- We needed a taxi to take to Playa Tortugas and the kinda ladies in reception made it happen.

- even though for two of our three days diving, we had a 45 minute commute to Playa del Carmen, in order to start our expeditions to Cozumel and a cenote.

- The location stretching out onto the peninsula in the Caribbean gives three water aspects to the sea or lagoons and semi isolation from the wall of new hotels along Playa del Carmen.
load more ... - One thing that stood out to me was that our room smelled very musty which is probably something that just comes with being so close to the water and a very humid environment.
- The one complaint I have is that people there smoke a lot.

- The low point was the 20-30 rowdy Americans drinking booze, smoking cigars and playing loud music next to the kids pool.
