The adult pool - if you have alone time, you must go here!

but things that were just meh or ok. We traveled with 2 kids, 5 and 6 and 2 adults.

The food was delicious at all a la carte restaurants with the French Sans Soucis adults only (pants, collared shirt and shoes for men) restaurant being our favourite.

although, I can’t complain about Jerry in the adults only lounge.

Activities for both adults and children were more than enough and we didn't had time to go out of the resort.

Overall very good facility for adults and children.

Great resort with lots of entertainment for kids and adults.

Because it was closed so often my kids didn’t enjoy staying at the kids club which didn’t allow us to take advantage of the adult pool and have some time to ourselves.

We ate our breakfasts in the adult lounge where they put out a spread every morning and it was peaceful and great.

Special thanks to Roger mi hermano de mexicano on the 1st floor adult swimming pool.

Excellent  staff especially Roger in adult bar, 8th floor bar Jerry for breakfast/ Antonio in evening and Pearla lobby bar.

They put 6 adults in 3 rooms with one bed, including two men, my brothers.

Maria in the adult bar on the 8th floor is great.

I enjoyed the adult pool and the adult bar and disco.

Every day the entertainment team organise things throughout the day to keep children and adults entertained.

Gabriel (Trafalgar bartender), Hector and Willberto (waiters) are why we keep coming back!

My pickier son even ate alllll his beef tacos!

Our kids now are grown, and we keep returning to this family resort for two main reasons: the people and the views.

Jackie from entertainment she is amazing very kind her English is perfect, she remember the name of my kids all week, it's great with kids activities and Aquagym her activities were always on time..

Lifeguards were stationed at the hotel beach and we felt very safe to let our kids play in the waves.

On a positive note, the amenities and beach are great for kids and we were able to make the most of them.

The staff put in a great deal off effort for the Christmas festivities, including Santa arriving by helicopter, which amazed the children.

He was extremely polite and patient with our whole crew of 8 including 3 little kids.

Jesus the bell boy was so wonderful, in many aspects.

We were there a week over Christmas with three familes and two grandchildren who loved the waterpark and all activities geared toward children.

Food was absolutely appalling in the buffet if you have kids, as mine lived off chicken nuggets from the snack bar for 2weeks.

but our kids loved it and it is exactly what we wanted, something budjet friendly that is kid friendly, there is lots to do at the kids water park , also a baby paradise for kids under 3 years old that had a bouncy castle and toys.

It was a shame really because I had high expectations of this holiday - our first with my son-in-law and new grandson

The girls were on time always , made us feel very comfortable.

Second favorite was Los Gallos- the Mexican restaurant.

Shout out to Jorge in the Mexican restaurant.

For example, one morning I asked Mary at the Mexican breakfast station for 2 fried eggs to top the delicious salbutes she made.

The closest we saw (and we did every specialty restaurant) was pico de gillo at breakfast for omlettes and a tablespoon of def not fresh guac at the Mexican restaurant with the fajitas.

but it is a low class hotel which is mostly occupied by local mexican residents mostly.

The buffet is catered for people who enjoy eating mexican food for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The surprise for me being in Mexico and not able to get good Mexican food was a bummer.

The Italian restaurant was very good as was the Mexican restaurant.

The next day Rodrigo was administrator of the Mexican restaurant, where we were poisoned.

The food was ok. Nikolas at the Mexican restaurant was wonderful as was Eduardo at the Italian restaurant.

Great Timex staff excellent x booking of restaurants not so good x was a party of 8 and made our entertainment as hotels was poor x Mexican restaurant was the best coffee was amazing x work going on in hotel a lot of drilling late afternoon early evening x

This resort I liked so much the shows from entertainment are nice and my favorite was the Mexican show with my friend Andre my sisters won the Mexican scream.

Los Gallos is the Mexican themed restaurant.

We tried all the reservation restaurants and Wayne boots , la piazza , and the Mexican were our favorite .

Dining at the hotel's restaurants was a delightful experience, particularly the French and Mexican cuisine, which offered excellent food and pleasant service.

Our favorite restaurant for service was Mexican, thanks to Raul and his team.

We also went to the French and Mexican and again all of the staff are brilliant.

One day we called at 9am and the restaurant we wanted was all booked up (Mexican).

I'd hardly call it disgusting like some reviews.

After 3 calls no response including a 4th call to front desk.

Set an alarm on your phone for 7:59am and login right at 8am knowing where you want to eat to book a reservation.

The alacarts were great too you just need to book it every day at 8am it’s not hard if you know how to use a cell phone.

We stayed in the club rooms and the phone and toilet were broken for a duration of the trip.

but they are trying to make us call the website and figure it out ourselves lol we are rushing to go to the airport because they will not let you leave till you pay the extra charge.

but these were literally cots that you would see in a jail cell. 3.

You can save a photo of the QR code on your phone and go to it from the comfort of your bed.

I went out the side doors and tried to deter him by calling someone to come meet me and he still continued to follow me.

Reservations for dinner were difficult, the phone app was not good.

Because either they wouldn’t answer the phone or couldn’t speak English (nor find someone that could).

No areas with air conditioning in hotel except the shop or your room( we had 6month old)
Front desk staff were unhelpful most of time, couldn’t call through from room had to go down.

They never answered their phone in or out of the hotel(reception, concierge, or any other department).

The restaurants you have to reserve in the morning by calling in.

Calling over 20 times and being on hold for 3hrs and still no answer.

Hotel does not answer phone calls from outside hotel or emails sent to concierge.

Con's- almost impossible to make reservations for dinner as you must call at certain times from your room and no one answers for hours.

Instead, you had to call each morning between 8-2 for a reservation for that night.

Loved our balcony that faced la Playa Delfines and the water slides.

Also, Playa delfines is 10 minutes walking and they have the Cancún letters.

Playa Delfines is amazing , some days it is strong with waves

The good thing is that there is a beautiful beach called playa delfines which is about a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel.

but it is adequate and there is the beautiful Playa Delfines 5 minutes walk down the coast for those who fancy it.

Down the beach about 100 yards is Playa Delfines, which is a beautiful public beach that has shaded spaces, bathrooms and showers.

The chicken wings and picanha weren’t my favorite.

But when you went to the restaurants, they were only half full.

At the dinner restaurants, we had consistently great service.

-Strict pants dress code in french restaurant while you are on beach resort.

We have tried almost all of the signature restaurants here, and the general opinion is the food is miserable.

but I have yet to stay at an all inclusive where it has been half decent, so we stuck to the cocktails, wine and shots!

They need a cafe so you can have proper coffee too

I been in different hotels in the hotel zone and I always keep coming to Cancun because the food/drinks were amazing,But here in crown paradise the food was a disappointment, the drinks were watered down.

All the restaurants need reservation from 8-8:20 in the morning.

All the restaurants were great and the buffet staff (Rubicel and Cesar) were the best!

but the our suite smelled horrible and then our bathroom door knob broke off and locked me in the bathroom for an hour.

Patrons dip their own ice cream and after the kids get into it, it was disgusting!!

When we attended Italian restaurant, my main dish was burned and my husband pasta contained spaghetti mainly with some spaghettini and fettuccine parts.

They’re mostly a three star older equipments are extremely old and shampoo and soap and everything smells really really weird which is hard to get used to, I didn’t feel I smell clean from using their shampoo and soap  their stuff is nice except the ones that help you check out what they’re doing is definitely not legal

The room had a smell and the sliding door kept getting stuck and just didn’t open on the 3rd day.

Their rooms are not maintained and are full of dust and smells like mold, in which I’m allergic to.

but the bathroom at the adult bar is nasty and they want you to share a bar of soap with everyone no liquid soap there.

The hotel is very old and nasty .

We literally lived 6 nights breathing mold.

The only AC is in the rooms and we had to stay out of our room for two days because they freshly painted somewhere near us and you couldn’t even breathe, paint is toxic!

It started off bad because we were put in tower 2 floor 5 and ithe room smelled like paint

Our room had some challenges, as we had a whole wall that had no power (lights and outlets would not work), a toilet that would regularly not flush, and black mold in the shower.

The main problem was that our room smelled strongly musty, and there were cockroaches in the room and the buffet bathroom.

Some of our rooms received the toiletry items, others did not.

The maintenance person showed up and did something in the bathroom and said it was fixed.

The toilet clogged and when we asked for a plunger no one came till an hour later.

My bathroom toilet was clogged everyday despite not using it.

( clogged sink, and toilet not flushing ).

They gave us another room with a working AC and the sink was clogged.

Our bathroom shower did not get really hot.

We’d had a long day of travel and were already 12 hours into our day, all we wanted to do was take a shower and nap.

The room didn't cool down past 23 degrees Celsius, the sink was clogged, and there were small roaches in the sugar tray.

Rooms and bathrooms are outdated, broken tiles and I can just continue.

Toilets all around the resort were never cleaned.

The housekeeping prior to arriving left a little to be desired (someone else's hair in the shower),

The shower water doesn’t even get hot at all.

I took them most of the day to try and get the sink to stop leaking and i finally had to ask them to stop trying because it was taking so long.

While the property is beautiful and we’ll maintained and the public spaces are lovely, the room and bathroom were tired and are in need of a refresh.

The play ground was fun for our little girl.

The grounds were manicured and the ocean was aqua blue.

The grounds are also well-maintained and pretty.

The resort grounds were well taken care of, including the beach.

Building/Grounds:
We thought the building and grounds were beautiful and the resort was kept up pretty well.

The grounds are beautiful, clean and well maintained.

The grounds and pools were so meticulously kept!

Pros: Beautiful grounds, mostly great staff, beautiful beach.

The grounds of the resort are cared for constantly, and it shows!

The Good:
The grounds are beautiful, and the lobby and main area have great views.

The location of the hotel was really nice, the food was good, the quality of the drinks was also good, the grounds were pretty, the employees were very friendly and welcoming.

The Mexican restaurant had really good appetizers and lovely display 
* Grounds, pool and beach are fantastic and the pool area is so well designed to accommodate all ages.

The ground floor of the resort is comfortable and spacious.

The pools were maintained beautifully as were the grounds you felt it was very clean and safe. The beach front villas where my son and his family stayed were a great family site (and no elevators necessary.)

The property is beautiful, the grounds are well kept and everything is picture perfect in the common areas.

I’ll start with the good.. the grounds were kept very well, much of the staff worked very hard , especially the restaurant servers , they were all excellent.

The grounds are very well kept, the employees are fantastic - all willing to help.

Wednesday, during the day we were at the beach and for dinner we ate Japanese with no issues.

Our favorite restaurants were the steak house and the Japanese restaurant

At the Japanese restaurant they give you every item on the menu

We ate at the Japanese place twice - best IMO.

I liked the Japanese restaurant the best.

Food and services are great, except for the Japanese restaurant, this is the only one we wouldn’t recommend to eat.

but had an amazing dinner at the Japanese restaurant.

We liked the buffet and the Japanese restaurant quite a bit.

Irving in the Japanese restaurant made our dinner very entertaining, and memorable, our waiter at the Bistro (which is our new favorite), as well as the Italian restaurant were awesome, and Fernanda, with the entertainment staff was just a sweetheart.

The Japanese restaurant gives most stateside Japanese Hibachi restaurants some serious competition!

On the other hand, steak house and Japanese house was excellent service.

Japanese  restaurant well worth going to.

We liked the Steakhouse and Japanese best.

Our best meal was at the Japanese restaurant.

Then guest relations booked us at there Japanese restaurant they were rushed the whole time, to get us out and get the next reservation in.

Chef at the Japanese restaurant had lots of trouble with his tricks, maybe he was new.

The food and restaurants were ok. Best restaurant was Japanese.

You can see a very panoramic view of Playa Delfines from the 9th floor.

El Rey Archeological zone is pretty much right by Playa Delfines as well

The property itself is very nice, in a perfect location in the strip (away from most hotels and next to Playa Delfines), so you have a lovely stretch of unspoiled beach next to you.

The service was impeccable, from Vianney the Concierge who was terrific, to top-notch facilities/beach access, delicious food, cleanliness.

He made mini pizzas, played water polo, built sand castles and swam for hours.

-Delicious food options at the buffet, food truck, and burger joint.

The food is yummy with endless options with the buffet and 4  restaurants and the cafe.

That evening we went to the American Bistro and it was great.

We did the buffet twice in a row for dinner and that was enough for us.

Food was on the lower end of other all inclusive resorts we’ve been to.

Great star camp for kids, nice pool, beautiful beach and the food at the restaurants is good.

The Star Prestige lounge, boasting a mesmerizing ocean view, became our go-to spot, where Mr. Guadalupe's personalized service stood out—he even took the initiative to personally take trips to the restaurants to secure restaurant reservations for us each day.

but it’s the same choices everyday and doesn’t vary much from breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

I did fun activities like swimming, making pizza, and playing the game UNO.

The food was bad, overcooked hamburgers, buffet was lacking in diversity daily and the restaurants were just ok.  At the beginning of the stay I was at a 4 star and would have stayed again

They even take them for lunch and to get ice cream.

They even take them to get lunch while they are at the club.

Erlinda excelente room 230 great service good person  best server ever she gave us drinks food popcorn cupcakes everything we need fixed the cupcake that messed up and made everything good great person

The only suggestion I would give is to perfect the restaurant reservation system.

Prior to arrival as a member we selected our drink packages and booked our restaurants and times that we would like for our reservations.

The resort failed to accommodate our requests for restaurant reservations, leaving us scrambling for dining options.

Had reserved the steakhouse for the evening because we hadn't eaten anything

You can only make 2 reservations to eat at restaurants lol.

The staff was great and friendly especially Hermalinda from the wait staff at the pool/bar area water was beautiful restaurant kinda booked have to go to the restaurant see if somebody might have canceled to get in

To add to that experience, out of 7 nights, we were able to get only 1 dinner reservations as everything is booked and have been eating at the buffet.

You had to make all dinner reservations the day of arrival or eat at the buffet.

Upon arrival we were told that most of the restaurants were booked for the next four days and they take emails for reservations,

As we were walking away, the concierge tried to snag us to "make dinner reservations", which I knew was just a ploy to make their timeshare pitch.

We had reservations for all 5 restaurants and ate at the buffet the other two nights.

Pro tip: make your dinner reservations when you check in.

For dinner at any of the restaurants you need a reservation.

We were advised that all of the restaurants were booked during our stay so we had no other option

It’s easy to book reservations for every restaurant, this is great

There are two buffets on property, and five sit-down restaurants for which you must have a reservation.

We had especially wonderful service at the pool from Neri who waited on us every day and Mario at the front desk who helped with all of our restaurant reservations.

we were given 2 reservations for dinner and a complementary bottle of wine at dinner as well as other offers.
