The beach is well maintained, and the water calmer than some of the other beaches we saw (such as playa delfines, which looked really rough).

The service was fantastic and the food was delicious.

You need reservation more thank a day before to eat at their restaurant like the Italian.

The service we recieved from Judith and Alejandro in the restaurant area was better then many expansive a la carte restaurants in Mexico and the US we visited.

We had dinner at the Italian restaurant “Chianti” and it was amazing.

The food is amazing especially at Chianti and Torii.

Highly recommend the lemon cream and the tiramisu for dessert.

He was so accommodating regarding our dietary and preferences for our food.

The Italian restaurant is the best place.

The food was also good and the staff was very friendly and fast, I was with some friends and I really liked it, especially because it is easy to take many excursions from this place.

Food is good,  staff is quick and attentive, rooms are clean and comfortable.

They have the best tacos I have ever had.

-the dinner reservation restaurants were nice and even let us go in sooner than the time that we had reserved

- they dont have a long beach where you can go for long walks.

The location is also perfect: direct access to the beach where you can walk or run for good few miles south to Playa Delfines, or north almost to the easternmost end of Mexico.

I insisted that we should not be charged and reluctantly they 'waived' the additional fee for us.

Which tells me they're probably not getting paid what they deserve.

They don’t provide them anymore and charge $12 USD for a metal straw.

The spa - They were running a promotion to get an 80 minute massage at the price for a 50 minute so I took advantage of it plus they added on Hydrotherapy treatment.

As I explained to him a bunch of people were upset they couldn’t sit in or by the pool unless they paid $80 for a cabana each day (which came with 2 loungers in the pool) As Mr.Rojas explained to me this money grab was put in place by previous management

There is also entertainment every day and night, with a range of shows and classes at no extra cost.

The only downsides of our stay were the terrible sales pitch on check in, super misleading and time wasting. He promised a three minute chat to provide us our welcome package, turned into a 15 minute guilt trip to sign up for a 90 minute sales pitch saying "he wouldn't get paid if we didn't attend."

The premium wine was a tab on the expensive side,

And far too many hidden fees, especially for things which should have been included (ex: a chair by the pool or on the beach, a seat to watch the nightly entertainment , etc. ).

Once those are taken, you either have to pay for a chair or cabana, or find a place to store your stuff.

but not if I could find something close to price.

He told me if I paid him I could sit there.

Little if any consideration for the guests unless you want to pay extra as in the seating around the pool and at the beach.

This is additional cost and is not cheap.

though it's an all inclusive, there are plenty of things they want you to pay an extra charge for so just stick to the normal menus and you'll be fine!

but the only way you could get a poolside chair is if you pay money for a cabana.

The hibachi dinner is fun and books up quickly.

The food was excellent and I’d recommend trying the Chefs Plate.

We did the dinner on the beach and it was amazing.

We always enjoyed the buffet in Spice, given our food limitations.

The food was very good, especially the breakfast.

The culinary delights at the resort are truly remarkable, offering a diverse and delicious menu.

We rented cabanas on two days, and we also had a romantic dinner by the water.

Pools and beach were lovely, and food was tasty.

Building is beautiful, food is great, staff good and beach is perfect.

The shows were great, and with one exception, so was the food.

The location is in walking distance to luxury shopping and several quality restaurants.

Restaurants ( especially the one facing the beach) are good.

There was no construction noise nor party noises,

There was some outdoor construction going on at Hana,

We could have stayed somewhere else and returned after the construction was completed.

The only downside was the construction noise.

There was some construction being done in the late morning

The only big downside in June 2021 was the loud construction all day—our room had hammering and pounding on the wall pretty much every day during work hours, so when rain chased us from the pool and beach there wasn’t much relaxing.

Non-stop construction noise, sorghum everywhere, people reserving pool chairs with towels for hours, salesman near towel area, and very pedestrian food for a four star resort.

There is CONSTRUCTION and not much music.

Outside at the pool the entire day is construction noise.

For those of you wondering there is some construction happening at the resort

I'm sure the hotel has changed since Covid and maybe the construction is complete as well as better customer service.

The only construction going on was at the pool, as they are putting canopies over some of the seating area,

Most of it was under construction at the time.

but this construction was not on things damaged by hurricane.

The loud construction noise was starting to wear on me and it was less than 24 hours from the point of which we had checked in.

Located in the Playa Delfines area, the resort is conveniently located near the airport and nearby plenty of good restaurants and things to do.

Andrea was playing the saxophone at dinner.

The lobby bar had a light menu that was very good.

The hotel restaurants are also quite good.

Most of the staff made eye contact and smile, there were some that went above and beyond,  Felipe ( towels),  Giovanni ( restaurant).

- Food and drink were very good to excellent at prices that you would pay at many Marriotts in mainland USA.

The flank steak quesadillas were fantastic!

We had excellent meals at the on-site sushi restaurant, the poolside restaurant for lunch and cocktails, food quality was incredibly fresh and delicious and service was expedient.

they have several restaurants that are really good.

but I have no confirmation of that, which is too bad as there are great restaurants quite close-by.

The best food we had at the hotel was the pool side menu.

Bfst at Hana was really good as well dinner.

Excellent choice to stay, try the brunch on the beach.

The flagship restaurant had an $85 per person buffet serving ham and turkey.

Amazing property, between Marriott and JW, which are connected, there are about 9 restaurants you can dine in!

We tried literally all restaurants (Thai; Champions Sports Bar; Mikado Teppanyaki; 750 Pizza, the Isla poolside restaurant, Sacbé beach shack, Hana Polynesian and even the Lobby bar) during our 5 night stay. Tips: just across the street is GoMart (easy and cheap to get your extra soft drinks), in walking distance is Don’s Taco’s - a great lunch spot, and the shopping mall is just 2km north (12 pesos bus ride from the entrance of the hotel)

The beach is excellent along with all the restaurants and the spa.

but we took a bus to the public beach one day (Playa Delfines) and walked on the beach for an hour and jumped the waves. :)

All the rest of the restaurants were fantastic.

However, breakfast was probably our favorite meal of the day.

We savoured a great diner at Krystal restaurant!

but our favorite was the Steak House for dinner.

Food selection and quality was excellent.

Then max, Santiago and Salvador  also gave great service and good food.

A special thank you to Santiago at the dinner buffet he was amazing.

Food was very good, great selection of fresh fruit, drinks and the steakhouse was amazing!

The food was much better than expected and the Riu Parties next door were incredible!

We enjoy everything about this hotel, the location, staff, food, entertainment,  and rooms.

Other then that we had a good experience and all the servers at bars and restaurants  were great

Villas gave us access to Kulinarium restaurant which was fantastic!

Food, staff, rooms, amenities, beach and service were all outstanding.

The amenities, like the shampoo and soap, were really awful smelling and totally dried out our skin.

It has flaws such as the shower floor being slanted away from the drain which means water stands inside about 1" deep.

We visited the place at middle of November 2023 , we arrived late after 12h fly , there was one person at reception, waiting 40 min for check in, no one help as with the luggage, so we took it ourselves to the 1st floor ( we stayed in villa) , there was no food, drinks for us , everything was close and the sports bar was empty… The room was covered with mold, the smell was horrible.

Our initial suite/room was not ready at check-in time (3:00pm), quite probably someone was perfuming our room to kill the smoking odor last minute,

During the day it’s overpowering and during the evening can be heard even on 16th floor with the doors closed, in the buffet hall and foyer.

So imagine coming back to your room and the food from the night before and getting slapped with the smell.

That was 5 hours earlier- how had the staff not cleaned up vomit?

Amazing food and service all around, my only complaint would be the amount of cigarette smoking all around the property in indoor common and beach area.

but it’s cleared each morning and we didn’t see any rotting piles of it on the beach and no smell.

We also we had to take a shower with roaches because the water did not go down the drain, so we had roaches to swim around.

On our first night there the jacuzzi in the room wouldn't get hot and the water stunk so we didn't even use it.

He tries to make his way to the bed and is throwing up, dizzy, cross eyed, falling down, and having trouble breathing.

Rooms are damp and needed some TLC, we didn't use the spa bath as the fittings were very old and uninviting.

We Were told You cannot smoke on the secured side.

We had some pop up in the villas on our last couple days, smoking by the pool.

The toilet in our room didn’t flush properly, the electric sockets were loose causing a health and safety hazard.

Siaan Khaan Master suite leaked dirty water from the celling by the AC vendor for days before they came and patch that up.

There were roaches everywhere and black mold all over my bathroom. 2.

The a/c was so bad that it was leaking and dripping water from the vent causing a wet mess on the floor.

but the two bathrooms were extremely dated--not at all what you see in the pictures.

On the last night there was a huge cockroach in the bathroom.

The water in a shower was hard to manage the temperature (either super hot or cold) not warm!

I refused to get on the shower for fear of contracting a disease.

Plus there are not enough bathrooms for the amount of people so they would get messy.

The bathroom is soo old and there is mildew , mold buildup on the shower head, the head board and room colorful pillows stink so bad of mildew.

Public Bathrooms near the poor were wet and not maintained enough.

however part of the bathroom wall was floor to ceiling glass so if someone used the bathroom at night and turned the light on it would again wake everyone up.

The maintenance of the room is minimal, especially in the bathroom, the shower is broken, the water comes out of the shower and sink faucets, so there is water everywhere.

Shower was unpredictable hot/cold kept changing and the maids were not that attentive unless you left a tip of course.

The bathrooms are also old, and need updating.

My wife used a face flannel to wipe the tiles down in the shower and the  flannel was so filthy.

Our first room had plumbing issues leaving the bathroom out of service.

I did have the chance to go to Playa Delfines and take a picture next to the Cancun sign, and go to the luxury mall and La Isla Cancun.

Not bad… just very noisy in front of the Beach Club and no bar service.

The noise from events did not impact my sleep and I am a light sleeper.

Lots of drunk buddies in the pool (noisy and unpleasant).

Lastly the 3 am wake up call by a DRUNK guest trying to get in the room screaming about how they were locked out was a bit ridicuious, as was the noise and echos through out the Pyramid that resonated into the rooms.

but if you walk to the other side you cannot hear the loud music and can enjoy relaxation, if needed.

In one sense the hotel lobby is stunning and in another it allows noise to travel all around the hotel so if you have a drunk group being loud it tends to wake the whole hotel up as you have no corridors to block the noise.

but be aware that it is very loud at night (esp during spring break) as doors close and the sounds carry/echo.

but every night they had parties, they came from the disco or the bar, and they spent their time yelling in the lobby and knocking on the doors of the rooms to waking up guests, there was not a night that those of us who were not part of the Spring break were not disturbed, I never thought they would put most of these people in there and many of them were not yet of legal age.

We were at the quite end of the complex, Seaview, bloc 3, best place to be, where's others were at the noisy end which was quite loud in the evenings which will suit the teenagers.

The noise of people in atrium, such as shouting is echoed throughout hotel.

but we heard a muffled voice behind us, we couldn't hear what she said as she had a face mask on which then my partner had said 'i'm sorry i cant hear you, what did you say?'

but believe me I’ve never stayed anywhere so disgusting and hideous it’s awful really awful ,,, thought I’d stayed in bad hotels before this takes top place for horrendous e perince all cocktails come out of bags and cockroaches are deep fried for free

The corridors had a very annoying Christmasy music playlist, playing 24/7 - that at night, was disturbing.

The only other concern would be the amount of noise.

A dude on stage with a microphone leading an a**-shaking competition shouting “who wants to get f’d up” while pouring liquor down the throats of people in a conga-line to the chants of "shots, shots, shots" is not going to be confused for a Four Seasons.

I most say I seen the horrible ratings and reviews on the plane on out way here I made myself so sick !

So be careful not to forget those things
- The rooms are zero sound proofed.

Food: in regard food, it’s subjective as we all have different tastes.

Restaurants are spot on, food was lovely!

Le Forno was OK. We had pizza and pasta there one afternoon.

The food is great and the resort is beautiful.

The restaurants are great, Careyes, ran by Hector great job!

In three days we were able to eat/drink at 12 of the bars and restaurants.

Another new restaurant that has opened is Black Sens.

Second day we had reservations at a restaurant.

The food was the same thing every day when there was food in the try's the try's was always empty .

The food was outstanding with plenty of variety!

Quality was bad, yet this was probably better than most restaurants.

My room was spotless, the pools were clean, and there were so many selections of food that were amazing.

The food was just okay, the drinks were watered down and the staff were just plain rude.

We ended up leaving the restaurant and going to eat at the buffet hall--which is where ate for the rest of our stay.

But since she is the 1st you speak with to make reservations for restaurants and such well lets just say that you start your day feeling annoyed.

As for the restaurants, good luck getting reservations.

Armando does a mental magic show on Sat @8 that is Really good and The dinner shows on Tuesday the Red Cabaret and on Friday the Blue Cabaret are a must see, Vegas show with dinner fro free!!

but there’s bad smells at different places.

And on a second night my pillows smelled.

The rooms are utterly disgusting and smell of mildew and mold.

The rooms were old and outdated and smelled.

Our Room smelled so they put us in another room .

They said the sheet had to be put in a special disinfection wash… which begs the question.. Why aren’t all sheets washed in disinfectant?

At that point I was just ready to go back home since the room had a odd smell.

I picked up a pain au chocolate which just smelt of cheese!!

but maintained, one of showers had slow drain, so we used the other so as not to be standing in water while washing your hair.

BE AWARE: If you don't want to be around ANY SMOKE or want to smell stale smoke then this is not the hotel for you.

Food reheated and raw and crap no beach towels you are on if you are local read the reviews and stay away your treated like you are nothing can not even use half of the resort unless you pay more disgusting done lots of long haul worst ever please believe.

The furniture was plastic and the plexiglass was absolutely filthy you could not even see through them.

You would not really use any of the available drawers, as the stink humidity and dirtiness.

The location of this property is excellent..a five minute walk to the spectacular Playa Delfines and backed by a beautiful golf course.

Impressive service and really good food for all inclusive.

Restaurants ranged from great steak house and Italian to meh Japanese and Mexican.

Rocio at the beach and Nebai in the restaurant were excellent.
