So far this resort is the best one we have stayed at compared to - the Grand Moon Palace, Moon Palace, Princess, Ocean Riviera Paradise, Occidental Xcaret, Royalton, Atlantis etc.

butler service really made a huge improvement on everything compared to all other resorts I’ve ever stayed at.

The beach is great, alot of long chairs, no need to reserve early in the morning and tractor passed often to clean the sea weeds which was minimum compared to others.

I also challenged the hotel manager to stay a night at a few of his competitors to see how their beds and service were compared to his.

It was on the Garden View side which was pretty quiet, compared to the rooms facing central pool.

Compared to the elegance of the restaurants, and generally good food, the pool scene is totally out of place.

The loft suite was nice, housekeeping was good, room service was good - the menu was a little limited compared to some places I've been.

We have both had Covid and Covid is nothing compared to what we had here.

The quality & variety lacked compared to other resorts I have been to.

For a 5 star place I would actually give it 1 star because of the price compared to the service and food that was provided..

I love the beach here compared to Yucatan, the sand is softer and more beach area.

We had a loft suite jacuzzi room which was ginormous compared to other hotels in Mexico/around the world we have stayed in.

My experience was night and day compared to Yucatán.

The food was ok, again nothing compared to secrets.

It can be a bit of a louder pool compared to others

butler service is totally different here compared to what we experienced previously.

although the food was good in our opinion it was not Great compared to some other resorts we have been to in Cancun.

Had a wonderful vacation and was really impressed with the resort compared to other places I have stayed in the area.

This is a new hotel compared to the other TRS's a Miami feel.

but I did not pay attention and allow these types of things ruin my trip.

The price was reasonable and included waters at no additional costs.

For a very expensive holiday, we didn’t then expect to be paying out to every staff member for the smallest of things.

Just imagine not being able to wash your hands or being able to shower in your room that you paid several hundreds of dollars for;only to have management have no regards for the inconvenience that you encountered.

Therefor an (expensive) upgrade was not necessary.

but all the  small things add up and take away the luxury you pay for.

The filet mignon tasted like venison the portions terrible all for $179 usd.

Once we got to the lobby, extremely rushed and infuriated, we had to demand that Randy call someone above him to coordinate a new car to pick us up which wasn't a luxury vehicle like we paid for

We would not stay at this "resort" again if you paid the bill for us.

We still paid full price which is not what we expected

but not least - yes it’s all inclusive and yes you pay for All that comes with that but for gods sake bring $30-$50 for tipping per DAY.

but it's a major tourist trap, very loud and busy, and you have to pay for everything there.

I would've honestly paid $500+ for this meal.

The Ambassador suite that we requested and paid for in advance, was HORRIBLE!!

Not a premium feeling for such an expensive resort.

We booked a scuba trip through the resort (water activity person at TRS Adult pool) with no issues, we had a great time.

butlers are assigned by floor and work in pairs to make sure you get dinner reservations, have everything you need in your room, and plan excursions if you would like.

The first thing we did with them was make our dinner reservations for our stay.

butlers who set our reservations, solved the few hiccups that occurred with our room, and provided a special early birthday surprise.

I can’t rave enough about this vacation other than we will be back and will be booking the grand palladium our next vacation.

but a convention booked out the restaurant.

Francine and Hector were silly amazing, taking the time to set up dinner reservations and even surprised me with a treat in my room for my birthday.

They made all of our diner reservations,  room service for lunch and helped with things throughout the week.

butler who then organised within the first 10 minutes, bookings for 5 evening meals in various restaurants on site and in the Palladium.

but if you are booked to visit, please don’t worry, relax and have an amazing time.

He was quick to reserve us for anything we wanted to do during our trip.

We dropped of a bottle of champagne off before our reservation and Galdino had it waiting at our table.

butlers for the week (Adrian Pastrana and Alejandro Orozco) were phenomenal and helped me get acclimated by showing me around and helping with reservations.

butler (who wasn't even our butler) , special thank you too you for correcting and making all our reservations.

She also made ALL of our dinner reservations for us which was a big weight off of our shoulders.

but the best experience was due to the chef, Raul, as he was very kind and gave us a special treatment on a special night I reserved on its terrace (also made the best guacamole I have ever tried ever!).

butlers Robin and Sosteness were awesome, especially Robin, he made sure we had everything we needed and took care of all our dinner reservations.

They made sure that we had everything that we needed and were super helpful with providing dinner reservations and special moments for our honeymoon.

There was no evidence of the fancy cocktails, complete with smoke, that they advertised.

Dining room and buffet chairs stained and filthy.

Unfortunately no tied up professionaly next morning .

I rarely saw something dirty or ugly or smelled bad.

Room service never came on several occassions and when it did the food was cold and stale.

We had to wait until 4:00PM to go to the suite, then it was musty, moldy and smelled TERRIBLE!!

Our TV needed replaced on day 1, the room smelled damp and we were only offered a replacement room towards the end of the stay after the leaks had been fixed so there was no point.

Lots of seaweed (not sure what can be done) and it smelled.

but humidity was very high and probably was a musty smell reason.

— MARIJUANA ENFORCEMENT: For two nights during our stay, our neighbors were chain-smoking marijuana.

Annoying part was there was constantly boat/jet ski rides ,seaweed raker right on the shore so it was loud and you got hit with the gas smell a lot.

When we did find an open restaurant the food was disgusting.

Our room did have a kinda light musty smell, airing the room out and running ac helps.

As I’m starting to feel better my fiancé starts getting sick as well puking, diarrhea, body aches, twitches, and hot and cold sweats.

however when the sprinkler systems are running the odor from that is just putrid, as the water is not filtered and smells like raw sewage.

Only negative comment about the beach were the wave runners going back and forth and then having to smell gas while relaxing on the beach.

Further, the smoke detector which was positioned directly over the bed was constantly flashing in my eyes, making sleep impossible until at least 2 am.

Food was great sat on the balcony facing the ocean can’t wait to go back!

Felipe set us up with a very nice view and we loved it.

The food was so good as well as the drinks and views.

Having stayed in the Loft Suite the first time, we opted for a Swin up Room with Main Pool View.

The hour long hydrotherapy circuit that accompanies spa treatments is luxurious and we loved finishing up in the third story infinity pool, staring at the ocean.

Our favorite restaurant was the beach view Helios Restaurant.

The Jr. Suite was top notch, we had a beautiful view and the staff treats you with so much consideration!

We had a serenity ocean front room with swim up.

My Wife and I stayed at Haven during the first week of December 2023 for 8 days in a Serenity Club Junior Suite Swim up Ocean Front.

We enjoy this resort for its quiet and laid back atmosphere, we always do serenity with the ocean front swim-out rooms.

I got the serenity club ocean front room and it was beautiful.

Lastly, we upgraded to the Serenity Club and we had a gorgeous, unobstructed abstract ocean front view room!

We were in an ocean front room in building 1.

Serenity Club Ocean Front room was really nice.

We had an ocean front suite with balcony and enjoyed waking to a gorgeous sunrise each day of our stay.

The Ocean Front swimouts are worth every penny!

The resort was beautiful my room was gorgeous with ocean front swim out!

We upgraded to a serenity club swimout Ocean front room and was so happy that we did.

Our ocean front serenity club room was stunning.

If coming to this resort, you have to be ok with entertaining yourself for a good chunk of the day and sitting by the pool or beach relaxing.

Balcony hot tub with ocean view was a relaxing experience.

There really wasnt much benefit to the serenity club for us.

We would definitely recommend this hotel to couples who are looking for a relaxing time.

He helped make reservations for a car and dinner "off campus" one night that went without a hitch.

She booked our dinner reservations, scheduled taxi services and reached out daily to accommodate our needs!

Our last night at the resort and everything was going great until our reservation at Olios.

Once we checked in they never explained we needed to make dinner reservations by 4pm on their app.

Other restaurants needed to be booked via app, which was glichy even when it’s working, which it wasn’t for our last 2 days.

Angel & Sahel specifically went above and beyond each day to ensure our accommodations and reservations were set, tables were always beautifully decorated, and our every wish was taken care of - they even threw in multiple surprises to make things that much more special for us.

He also managed our dinner reservations and helped coordinate housekeeping seamlessly while we were out of the room.

We booked our trip to Haven and could not have been happier!

Without asking, he would reserve our pool chairs every morning for us.

We appreciate that the resort let us book the golf reservation in advance.

We booked a oceanfront, swim-out romance serenity package and it was worth every penny!

You have to get your reservations for ALL restaurants the minute you arrive.

We had the opportunity to book the spa on our last day and it was truly amazing experience.

I thought I had booked one of the best rated resorts.

There are many broken drain tiles smashed on the way from the main pool  to building 4 with orange cones highlighting them.

but really smell musty which they try to mask with a room spray.

There was a water leak of some kind that had existed for sometime as evident by damp walls, black mold and the bowing vertical wooden slats.

There was a bit of a moldy smell in one of the closets,

The beach is unusable and you can tell it never is by the few filthy cabanas that are there.

Beach unusable and canopying beds disgusting dirty.

The beach on the serenity side was disgusting and trashy.

The rooms felt wet all the time, smelled wet too.

One bar staff member seamed to not understand "my" Spanish or otherwise refuse to speak Spanish only to me, which came across a little foul and offensive.

The seaweed gathers and it can smell, so if you're wanting to spend a lot of time on the beach I'd look elsewhere.

The Hot sauna was smoking hot and then the dip into the ice cold pool was invigorating.

The room we had smelled a little moldy (a few other guests had the same experience).

Not to mention there are 3/4 pools on the premises with swim up bars.

(although slightly warmer than the swim out pool.

We had the swim out garden view room and I think this was the best choice because it was private, had sun during the day and was very romantic.

To start off, we got the swim out partial ocean view with the king bed and we were serenity members.

Our swim out beachfront room was beautiful!

I love the swim up bars as they are very easy to get drinks and the people and staff are all super nice.

We stayed in a swim out with partial ocean view and it was amazing!

Everyone loved their rooms, especially the swim outs.

We had a swim up room, and it was awesome.

Servers Angie and Corbsco were very fun and would make sure to check on us in our swim out pools.

We had a swim out room as well which made for room service breakfast on the patio great!

The pools are warm enough to swim even in December!

Room is big and beautiful especially the swim out ocean view ( that is the only amazing thing this resort has).

We really enjoyed our Serenity Club partial ocean view swim up suit.

Enjoyed making friends, massages at the tent on the beach, hydrotherapy and facials at the spa by Angel, shopping at downtown Cancun flea market, an excursion to xel-ha, hubby’s dive trip and lots of relaxation (and drinks 😂).

We booked a day trip to Xel-Ha with Dani.

I will definitely visit again whenever I plan to visit Cancun. Lastly, Haven is located only 20 minutes away from the airport and also much more close to Xel-ha, Xplor..etc so, if you are planning to visit one of the places and planning to ride a shuttle that are provided from the Xcaret, you will get to board last and leave first when you are coming back :)

One day I went off resort to visit Tulum and Xel-Ha (both amazing experiences-set up with delta vacations).
