 - Special thanks to the staff and Betty especially who helped us to book various activities.
 - As an aside, if you book here, absolutely go to the "Chef's Plate" experience.
 - We did end up making our reservations to enjoy Hibachi twice during our stay.

 - Thank you Erick who checked us in, Marcos our host at Pelicanos and all of the Pelicanos waiters, Teresa and Carmen at the Spa, and Alberto who served us at the cabanas and swim up pool.
 - We stayed at Paradisus Playa del Carmen in 2019 and we enjoyed our stay there
 - This time I visited the spa on three separate occasions, and it was beyond amazing - Brenda, Cristian & Carmen were all too notch, as well as the pool attendants Hilda and Rosy.
 - We also went on a “Mayan adventure” to snorkel in playa de Carmen.
 - Everyone from the bellhop Jesus , the front desk clerk Erick , Carmen at the Spa and to housekeeping was excellent.

 - If you like the Las Vegas quality shows, their evening shows will not disappoint.

 - We stayed at Paradisus Playa del Carmen in 2019 and we enjoyed our stay there
 - They asked me to get a $150 day pass, as we spent 3 days at the Grand Hyatt in Playa and therefore this was a new reservation.
 - We also went on a “Mayan adventure” to snorkel in playa de Carmen.
 - Unlike the Riviera or Playa Mujeres the beach is clean and clear of seaweed.
 - This was our first time at this resort, we have stayed at the Hilton in Playa and Zilara did not disappoint.

 - DRINKS ARE NOT WATERED DOWN… The only thing I didn’t like is that you need to pay $6 dollars for Red Bull.
 - The beach area is very nice with what seem to be some free cabanas with lounge chairs and some that you pay either $35 or ~$180 a day depending on whether you want bottle service (ala Vegas).
 - I calmly explained that I wished to be placed in a room for which I had selected and paid.
 - A little expensive during peak season
 - The only negative we didn't like was the continued upselling in the restaurants beyond the all-inclusive price for better wine and lobster.

 - This was our 9th trip to an all-inclusive Mexican or Caribbean resort, and Live Aqua did not disappoint.
 - The food is incredible which is amazing because I have never had great food at an all inclusive resort before.
 - The drinks and food are what you would expect from an all-inclusive, some things were very good other things, just so so.
 - I've done a few "premium" all-inclusive resorts in Cancun and they've all been great!
 - All inclusive resort, food, drinks, and room service included!

 - The beach and pool cabins come with a foot massage, evens are being celebrated.
 - But you can not use is for spa, cabanas, upgrades, or practically anything else and it expires every day.
 - Everything is spa like.
 - The spa services and staff were excellent - very complete treatments, better and at a better price than those I have received in any Toronto spa.
 - The gym was very nice, along with the spa facilities.

 - Tuvimos una estancia excelente, ha sido el mejor all inclusive , la comida y la atención del Chef Ejecutivo Cesar Germain y su equipo ha sido excelente .
 - The 2nd time we rented a boat and got on across the street at the marina.
 - I would compare MB to a Ruth's Chris or Del Frisco's quality restaurant.
 - Rossi round the pool always keen to brighten anyone's day, she's a little ray of sunshine!

 - One of the best features I felt is you could go to any of their restaurants and not have to make a reservation.
 - We were booked in a Premium Garden King room which was on the south side of the resort that faced a new resort under construction.
 - You cannot go wrong booking a vacation at Live Aqua.
 - And we had already planned to book one every day to be comfortable.
 - I think this is such a great addition and it is so nice to have point people who can answer questions, support with special requests, make reservations, etc.

 - Better beach for body surfing than in Playa Del Carmen.

 - The beach staff sought us out on the beach” playa” at night to help release baby turtles on the beach.

 - We have been to all-inclusives in Puerto Vallarta, Playa del Carmen and Jamaica.

 - If you do go, and you stay in the Serenity Club, pretend that you do not have a
 - butler with the serenity club and he took control of everything.
 - And the beach was just beautiful and relaxing- we loved the hammocks in particular.
 - I found the Serenity pool was great as I am disabled and liked that it is a gentle entry.
 - It was so so relaxing and quiet.

 - There was plenty of space around the pools with lots of different types of beds and on the beach. It takes roughly 20 minutes to get into cancun via taxi and 45 minutes to playa del carmen (which we recommend for a day out!)
 - For reference, this was our 7th trip to Riviera Maya in the last 8 years which included 3 stays at The Royal in Playa Del Carmen and 3 stays at The Excellence Riviera Cancun.

 - The jewelry staff Carmen and Daniel wow, they were patient and very knowledge on their merchandise .

 - Set up our dinner reservations for two restaurants right when we arrived.

 - but although the hotel beach is swept of seaweed and rubbish, undeveloped beaches further along aren’t, so you have to negotiate piles of Sargassum seaweed and its associated floating plastic debris.
 - It’s worth noting that it is a non-smoking resort therefore there is only dedicated areas you can smoke.
 - Only complaint was the room with the swim up pool smelled WET which can be expected
 - At other resorts in Mexico in the past , I’ve noticed faint sewer smells in the bathrooms and randomly outside .
 - but we never really smelled the aromas.

 - No effort to create great cuisine like Excellence Playa Majeures, just feeding a mass of folks seems to be the focus.
