The choice of menu for a all inclusive was good

Lots of branded drinks included in all inclusive without extra charges.

Considering it is an all inclusive you wouldn't have known the difference rather than visiting an ordinary reasturant.

Food is better than some previous reviews say and the cocktails are better than all inclusive resorts I’ve previously experienced.

Pools are great, drinks are typical for an all inclusive and the food: Buffet was pretty good

We know good all inclusive is possible in Mexico as we had delicious all inclusive buffets on our excursions at Xplor, Xel Ha and Xcaret.

We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for any families wanting to experience all inclusive in Cancun.

All in all we spent a lot of money eating out bubba gumps, subway, mcdonalds ect and when you pay 5000 to be all inclusive you expect  alot more.

We ended up eating out most nights which defeats the purpose of an all inclusive!

The buffet restaurant has more than enough variety and is typical of what we expected of a 4-star all-inclusive resort.

Our family vacationed in Cancun and stayed at Crown Paradise all inclusive resort for one week over the summer.

Food was good! We got a variety of food (inclusive, so why not?!)

First time in Mexico and booked one-week all-inclusive package with Costco.

The property and location are average as compared to all the other all inclusive resorts in the area.

They offer many things to do onsite, which are not inclusive, such as scuba classes, snorkeling, parasailing, etc.

Onto the food- It was fine at the buffet- standard all inclusive resort buffet food.

but wanted something suitable and safe for my children's first all inclusive experience - and realistic to not set them up for a superstar outlook for their future travel.

There are a couple booth selling outings- get the all inclusive day trip to Isla Mujeres!

I had some meals I really enjoyed - especially breakfast.

The food was delicious the pools Were perfect except the music.

Returned for the 5 th time little one enjoyed kids paradise good service all around would recommend buffet has a lot of variety Jesus the bell boy out standing service good shows every night very entertaining for the kids

but pool bar, restaurant staff, lobby bar, buffet, VIP room, beach bar, bellboys, cleaning staff, and every employee we saw along the way were all over and above nice.

During our breakfast time we loved seeing Geyser’s energetic attitude and Karla’s at the door.

the hotel is great,its a good thing they have the buffet open because the food quality at the resterants are a little on the low quality side,don't rely on their transportation, they have plenty of employees to help you

The food was very yummy and the restaurant was able to accommodate the little kids.

but a few would be Rey from Wayne’s boots, Emanuel - The French restaurant, Herbert from the main buffet but our gold star goes to Andre who works with the entertainment team.

Go see Alexis for breakfast at Fisherman's instead of buffet!!

Staff from buffet kitchen have also always been nice and attentive.

The service of Hever at French Restaurant, for sure you have to try, he is só gentleman and Will treat like a King ir queen , and the food was delicious.

We had an amazing experience at crown paradise, the food was delicious and the entertainment was amazing, they staff really takes your comfort and convince as their first priority.

but the buffet is more than adequate so no trouble.

Great food and service at the Fisherman's Seafood restaurant, Jose was great and the chef prepared a delicious salmon upon request, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others, and good for a family dinner night.

The buffet is stocked and plentiful with a lot of variety.

Talking about food 5/10 buffet is okay I will say not so good taste.

The food here is always great and very very delicious, the food is second to none and the service is extremely polite and so nice to have, 

We visited this restaurant on multiple occasions during our holiday

His service is amazing, food is delicious. Ferdy made us (two couples + one baby!)

We wasted half an hour of our day dealing with the key card issue (maintenance actually changed the battery or wiring in the door).

Our balcony door didn't shut properly so would rattle in the wind, our bathroom tap also fell off, rooms really need some attention

You cannot get an early night sleep, as the patios doors are not sound proof, and because all rooms sea facing, the sound of the sea and people in pools till 8pm.

My only gripe is the connecting doors as we had a family room.

That night, the AC starts to leak, we had to put towels by the door to catch the drip.

The glass doors do nothing and water gets every where.

ROOMS : Our room had a slight issue with the door when we arrived

We had a leaking patio door in the storms, our shower door didn’t close properly so the bathroom floor got super wet each day and we had a leak from the air con unit - no one seemed surprised when we reported anything so I think these things happen a lot and the poor staff are having to work so hard to deal with these things day to day.

When we arrived there was beach towels on the floor by the balcony sliding doors because water was coming in from the rain outside.

That night we put the plates outside the door and called for them to be collected they were out there for two days before being collected.

Airport – just keep walking, you will be asked constantly about transportation/timeshares until you get out the doors.

but the sliding doors to the balcony should have been sealed properly we booked with TUI and at this hotel TUI don’t have a representative so that is a warning sign just wish I knew this before I booked but it’s a lesson learned I will definitely ask the next holiday I book  ( BUT DEFINITELY NOT THIS HOTEL )

but the jetted tub gurgled loudly every night for 3 nights and as I put a tub mat over the drain to help muffle the sound after 3 days some how I now had 2 inches of water in the tub…..The extreme blew thru the patio doors..I had English tv channels for the first 2.5 days and they disappeared but the Spanish channels were still there, complained 4 times all they did was replaced the tv which was not the problem….

So we walked into our room and I open the closet doors and water drips from the a/c so my floor is now wet, I let the guy who brought our luggage upstairs know and he got someone to clean it.

I was downstairs doing the check out while the girls finished packing. My daughter answered the door and the cleaning lady asked, "ARE YOU LEAVING YET??"

The patio door was noisy and drafty as the glass had disconnected from the frame.

One of the workers opened our door then left.

As soon as we opened the door the smell of mold hits us in the face.

but they all played the nightly shows are brilliant something different every night and something for everyone my daughter even win two barbie a in different nights for the competitions a part location brilliant couldn’t have wished for a better holiday

We enjoyed the pool activities (waterpolo, volleyball, foam party, aqua gym, quizzes), mini golf, night time shows (although not very long they are worth a watch).

Overall we had a ball at the hotel and the staff had a big part to play in that.

There were a few fully grown guests playing some of the 'friendly' pool ball games who just took it way too seriously and there were injuries and crying kids.

I highly recommend this hotel, the vip experience, and partying with Carlos.

Mexican restaurant was very good, even had a little band playing.

Also, in the kids area of the pool, they don’t allow parents to leave this certain area so you can’t be in this certain area while you kids are playing.

Like a night pool party would be cool. 4.

The food, the pool, the playground, the spectacular spectacle and the attention given to kids, the pool party for kids, the buffet and the room service.

The mariachi band were also brilliant, making our nights lively and exciting by providing us with a bit of music!

If it rings once then clicks to play an automated message, hang up immediately and redial.

The Mariachi is so talented - they played romantic music for us when requested,

She has fun working there, playing with the kids.

The facilities for kids are fantastic from cinema, day/night entertainment, slides zone, and the kids club was outstanding with so much on my son attending a foam party, glow stick party and had the best time ever here so thank you!

In the evenings if we were on site we would enjoy dinner in one of the 5 A La Carte’s (Sans Soucis the French was my favourite) and there was no restriction on the number you could go to and we would then go to the Trafalgar Bar which was Adults only, has 3 pool tables and a nightclub that is open until 1am.

The outdoor pools were well maintained and spacious enough to play and not feel crowded.

One of the day games they played flip the water bottle.

Angelica was really helpful throughout our stay and was really good at helping us with playing golf and retrieving our basketball when we lost it.

Our opinion of the hotel is not good and we will stay at better hotels around the area next time, please note the TUI repp, also over charge for trips, so don't go TUI reps out there , better and cheaper from outside tours.

I was told that I needed to pay for $5 as delivery fee.

Honestly please pay extra stay somewhere else the foods mediocre the rooms are basic for what I paid for a family of  four stay Europe you will get better quality then this weather is mint

However, they are very overpriced & penalise you by using US $.

Would definitely pay more to stay elsewhere that had better selections of foods (especially if you are picky or have picky kids!! ).

Also, the room wasn’t the cleanliest and I was unable to utilize the jacuzzi tub I paid for.

Given the holiday cost over £5000, we definitely didn’t get what we paid for.

Please do yourself a favor avoid cworn paradise at all cost.

but the Hotel was full and we paid a lot of money to go there  , The Crown Paradise was never one of the nicest Hotels but that was always Superseded by the People , Atmosphere and Food , Now that all that's away there is Zero attraction to this Hotel , Pains me to say this but its probably one of the Worst Hotels in Cancun now :-(

The tour operators waste your  time in sending you to expensive activities.

I also paid for excursions on your resort from your travel agent, just for my family of 8 was left for 2 hours at horseback riding where we had to pay a taxi after spending another 400 dollars on activities.

The front desk people seam like they never know the price of anything or how payments were taken or how to work their systems.

Making the decision to by the cheapest food possible, maintenance not being completed regularly and just a sheer lack of care for the property or their guests.

Please be aware the restaurants across the road are extremely expensive,

No entertainment for the kids except one entertainment team member playing bottle flipper food was way below average bars shut early and they have 1 kids disco a week avoid this place at all costs

This resort advertises on social media and through vacation plans as this amazing all-inclusive resort….however, it is not at all as advertised, the resort is very run down, the restaurants are not “all-inclusive” as you paid for as you have to make almost impossible reservations to get into any restaurant aside from the buffet.

Arrived June 1, our first room was not cleaned, mold on mirror, 2nd room, small 2 double beds, not what we paid for, so they ended up giving us some honeymoon suite looking room with a huge jetted tub in the middle of the room, and bringing in a rollaway bed for our 3rd person.

The hotel is tired and needs significant investment in refurbishment.

but needs to be shut down and renovated and re-staffed.

It is in need of maintenance and updating.

But, one room was more outdated then the other one.

-rooms are incredibly dated and the hotel needs an overhaul.

They need a MAJOR update to rooms and resort.

The beach is gone the pictures that the website has are old and outdated.

The schedule of activities in the whole resort are nowhere to be found and you have to look for staff to ask the schedule and when you ask they will point you to scan the QR code to access the schedule of activities and that schedule from the QR code needs to be updated too.

but a maintenance door, and it was very, very outdated.

Negative:

The hotel was warn, outdated and in need of maintenance and repair.

Daily schedule 
Except for the set schedule, there is no daily update to let you know what is happening.

but could use some updating and TLC just showing expected wear and tear.

As for the amenities most things are broken or outdated such as the mini golf greenery which was tore up so bad you couldn't even play.

-Swimming in the ocean was fun and felt safe.

but other days is calm and nice for swimming.

Thanks to the entertainment crew at the swimming pool to keep us fit during water polo and basketball games.

If it's a light rain the go down the slides and still swim and play.

The entire time I thought we were swimming to the location for snorkeling!!

but the children can access the kids swimming pool with slides etc at any time from the kids club.

It is an especially good hotel for children with lots of activities daily and a great childrens swimming area.

We did captain hook and swimming with dolphins at ventura Park and enjoyed both.

There’s so much to do at the resort from swimming in the several pools, to laying out in the beach, playing mini golf, and checking out the convenience stores.

I have a pool at home and I wouldn’t travel this far to just swim in The pool.

They have so many activities to choose from, for the kids they have waterslide 2 swimming pool.

If nothing goes wrong and you're good with Mexican phone calls, this is decent place to stay.

Food was good and wasn't all Mexican choices.

His service was personal and we had the flaming Mexican coffee that he prepared table side at the end. Perfect.

This hotel is a great place to stay as a starting point for your Mexican vacation or as a departure point when your trip is over.

He was the epitome of classic Mexican hospitality.

but I hear that the coffee was fantastic Mexican coffee.

The next morning there was a massive buffet, or a la carte menu with Mexican and north-of-the-border fare.

I tried both the breakfast buffet (tons of both American and Mexican options) and ordered off the menu.

Breakfast/brunch has very decent items, with an omelet/quesadilla station and a good selection of authentic Mexican options (some are very spicy).

Tipical Mexican happy friendly staff which is Very helpfull.

although I gave a reward for their efforts I am more greatful in what they have done for my trust of the Mexican people and the Marriott organization--thank you again.

Taxi fare to Playa Delfines is about 300-350 mexican pesos.

The staff is multilingual, professional and welcomes you with the typical warm Mexican welcome.

I found its Mexican food quite good and its breakfast buffet had a wide variety of choices, including a green smoothie.

Breakfast is very good indeed, with a good buffet and freshly cooked omelettes and Mexican specialities to order.

Breakfast was great with lots of choice including Mexican coffee and hot chocolate.

Do not forget to try impeccable Mexican coffee drink with their secret recipe because you will not find it or impossible to get it at Starbucks.

Breakfast buffet $13, good by Mexican standards.

We were wait in for the other half of our party in order to travel together to Riviera Maya.

Granted, my party and I were already seated.

but the surprising element was that he even did this: this third party booking system is well known, one of the most popular and has been around for years--this was a major oversight on his part and I believe training should be given to him again.

We were able to check in a little early since they had a room ready, much appreciated since one in our party had gotten too much sun and was feeling ill from the heat and needed a cool, comfortable place to rest.

I could sit by the pool and watch the orioles building nests and playing with each other.

She was partying with the room next door 402.

Overall staff service was excellent (Yasmin, lady at egg station, the gentleman who turned off the loud vent in bathroom) 

If you're looking for the beach and parties, it's a solid 15 minute drive from this spot.

I liked the relaxation music the hotel was playing in the lobby and restaurant.

They have implemented a scheme whereby you do not get any rewards if your reservation is made via a 3rd party i.e.

We stayed here coming from Playa del Carmen to party for a bit in Cancun before heading back home.

Not a Cancun "party" hotel--very and quiet.

The outdoor pool area has zen music playing softly, hammocks hanging from the trees, groupings of tables in covered area.

The pool and courtyard area at the hotel are BEAUTIFUL and it was very relaxing at night with soft music playing.

This is not the place to stay at Cancun if you want to experience a Mexican town or the party beach.

I came to check in Cancun at a courtyard Marriott, and the front desk is rude, unhelpful, slow, and incompetent.

Check in was slow, there was only one lift working and on entering our dated hotel room, the floor was still wet from the cleaners not cleaning it properly and I instantly slipped and fell, hurting my hip, back and head.

The negatives:

- check in is abysmally slow.

The checkin was also extremely slow, it took him some minutes to find my reservation, and he wasn't the slightest bit interested that I am a Mariott Bonvoy gold member,

It was like everyone moved in slow motion.

it is one thing to have them during slow periods, another to have them during peak hours. UNSUPPORTED!

Front desk was very slow, seemed the computer system was making it slow.

--The service in the restaurant was slow.

Stay twice here for overnight before going to Playa del Carmen.Front Desk are pretty slow

Restaurant food was slow, drinks terrible, hot tow was lukewarm, pool was dirty,

Also the restaurant and room service was VERY slow.

however was very slow and the food was just ok.

The lifts were so slow it was easier to walk the stairs.

I only stayed here one night on business, arriving at the hotel the check in queue was horrendous so slow, not good after the chaos of cancun airport.

but if you fancy a change you can jump in a taxi and 10mins away there is a TGI Fridays and a Brazilian restaurant.

A bit chaotic at the airport to locate exact stop so speak to the guards that will guide you and avoid all taxis

Francisco at the front desk (Aug 4th 2021 around 530 am) was very kind, diplomatic, and accommodating in helping us to call a taxi to the airport.

There were not even any official licensed taxis available in the airport.

As an FYI, the taxi price for 5 people and luggage is $600MXN for one way to the airport.

Room, people, all good.Arranged same taxi for morning pickup to go to The Grand, ended up in the emerg with neck/head injury when taxi avoided an accident when he was cut off/ Taken to hospital, etc, good hospital

The front desk and staff worked very hard tracking the taxi down and getting my phone returned.

It was really nice that we didn't have to pay for a taxi.

If you want to get around, you must take a taxi ..

If you call a taxi company on your own, many taxi services refuse the pickup (due to the hotel restriction) while others will pick you up outside the hotel gates or nearby Santa Fe strip mall (5 or 10 min walk respectively).

The free shuttle to the hotel from Terminal 4 at the airport was a huge plus as a taxi will run you $40 US for a twelve-minute ride!

We took a taxi from the hotel to the Cancun strip for about $8-10.

but did have some drinks we caught a taxi into Cancun for dinner which was great the staff were friendly

There are usually a couple of taxi's waiting in the lot or the front desk personnel called one and he was there in less than five minutes.

Shuttle is easy and saves US $25-30 in taxi cost

The Courtyard team were fantastic - David picked us up from the airport - so much better than negotiating Cancun taxi service (don't bother) organise a pick up from your hotel or a professional shuttle service - anyway it's included with Courtyard free of charge so that alone is a huge plus.

airport taxi ripped us off for 500 pesos to take us 2 miles.

but the staff called the taxi for us and gave the orders to the driver for us.

We used the complimentary airport shuttle twice and both times is was delayed by more than twenty minutes, which stressed some other travellers with sooner flights.

Check-in was smooth for us and we then waited in the bar for our traveling companions to arrive.

I am a seasoned traveler, permanent resident in the US and Mexico!

First, it's disturbing that Marriott would put their name on a hotel that is willing to leave travellers to take risks with mafia taxis by not fulfilling their advertised shuttle offering and not picking up the phone for hours on end.

This is so convenient for us who live in Mexico and travel back to the USA for family stuff.

My parents had an issue with their travel documentation, and stayed at this hotel last minute on the recommendation of airline personnel.

It’s a good hotel if you are traveling for business purposes.
