Loved the ambiance here and the live entertainment with ballet dancers and a man behind the piano.

Great service, great environment, ballet dancer is great, friendly.

We ended the meal with a tres leches cake The ambience was great, we highly recommend!

A perfect blend of luxury and relaxation, making it an unforgettable getaway.

The restaurant is fairly new, decor is very pretty and chic (comparing w NYC standards) and very very clean.

We loved the barbabietole and pasta and we got the dissert with a lovely design for our anniversary

Excellent service and food, mariachi and the atmosphere too Toni is great as well

But if you come with your partner, they also create a nice intimate atmosphere.

There was no construction noise nor party noises,

There was some outdoor construction going on at Hana,

We could have stayed somewhere else and returned after the construction was completed.

The only downside was the construction noise.

There was some construction being done in the late morning

The only big downside in June 2021 was the loud construction all day—our room had hammering and pounding on the wall pretty much every day during work hours, so when rain chased us from the pool and beach there wasn’t much relaxing.

Non-stop construction noise, sorghum everywhere, people reserving pool chairs with towels for hours, salesman near towel area, and very pedestrian food for a four star resort.

There is CONSTRUCTION and not much music.

Outside at the pool the entire day is construction noise.

For those of you wondering there is some construction happening at the resort

I'm sure the hotel has changed since Covid and maybe the construction is complete as well as better customer service.

The only construction going on was at the pool, as they are putting canopies over some of the seating area,

Most of it was under construction at the time.

but this construction was not on things damaged by hurricane.

The loud construction noise was starting to wear on me and it was less than 24 hours from the point of which we had checked in.

MARRIOTT if you are doing construction next door have people stay an another wing!!

Different vibes between the two hotels: the Marriott is more "red solo cup" in the big pool where the JW is more intimate and designed for quiet relaxation for adult couples rather than families or groups.

This resort has a really chill vibe and service that puts you at ease and welcome.

This restaurant had a Tulum vibe and beautiful.

After staying at the Royalton CHIC - it was a breathe of fresh area to get a break from the party, drink your monies worth experience.

5 star facilities at the spa, it has steam room, showers, lockers, vanity with all the toiletries, ambience very clean and zen, perfect!!

The suites were designed with style and class, views of the ocean from everywhere in the rooms.

Everything was wonderful- food, drinks and ambiance.

We ate at the Japanese restaurant which is a habatia style restaurant and the show was great.

The checkin was easy, they have free parking, a new Polynesian dining experience, and a cozy hideaway/hangout under the pool deck that is right on the beach and  s great photo spot.

My husband and I are very pleased to recommend Marriott Hotel Resort in Cancun 0, an amazing place, clean environment, excellent people, and very cozy place.

The regular Marriott resort is more MTV spring break crap than sophisticated and relaxing.

Been here only a day and was already getting bored of the over managed environment when my kids 17 and 15 went to use the gym.

However, it was furnished with two less than comfortable plastic chairs (no cushions, no recliner etc.).

The frontal ones have the amazing view of the blue waters plus the amazing shade of colours as the sun and lights move.

Your hotel, atmosphere, food and especially your service is the best of the best.

The charm of the resort, nice rooms, and beautiful views are great,

From here we went onto the Fairmont at Mayakoba which had stunning rooms and then the Westin Lagunamar which had condo style accommodation which again was very good.

I guess the prison guard atmosphere by the check-in/out staff is a Marriott policy now.

Located in the Playa Delfines area, the resort is conveniently located near the airport and nearby plenty of good restaurants and things to do.

The cleanliness of the space was impeccable, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.

The only difference was the new beautiful design on our bed runner.

It was never crowded and had great ambiance like a saxophone player.

The housekeeping team left beautiful decorations and treats for me for my birthday celebration.

He effortlessly cultivates a culture of collaboration, encouraging teamwork and fostering a positive atmosphere that amplifies productivity within the team.

Lastly, the atmosphere was very relaxing.

The drinks were cold, the food was tasty, the vibes were immaculate!

From the nicely designed room, to the immaculate beach, the quality/variety of food options, and hospitality of the hotel staff - There’s nothing to fault.

On my birthday she decorated the room to outstanding perfection.

The beach and pool areas were pristine, perfect for relaxation.

From the moment we walked into the lobby, which is very welcoming and bright.

Overall, while the hotel's ambiance and location were pleasant, the dining and reservation situation significantly impacted our experience, making it fall short of our expectations for a special occasion like our anniversary.

We came to Cancun to celebrate my birthday it was a vibe every night.

The building itself is very clean and open and the overall ambiance is great.

The room we stayed in was well furnished and had a stocked mini bar, which was refilled daily.

Their energy at the pool, creating a college-like atmosphere for the diverse ages, was so fun.

Every moment was infused with romance and charm.

The holiday vibe was fun and the Christmas dinner celebration boasted delicious and festive food stations to cater to all tastes.

The room was clean and beautiful decor with a hot tub.

The swimming pools design is artistic and beautiful.

Facility has amazing restaurants, great ambience, good food.

The foam party was great, the beach party was super fun and it was just an all around good vibe in the whole place.

He blended his knowledge of food and culture, with the serving experience.

The weather was cloudy for several of the days, staff was on top of keeping the vibes up & working around the weather.

On Thanksgiving day they had it decorated so cute and even one of the hostesses was dressed as a scarecrow.

You can choose whether you want the party scene or something quieter.

but they didn’t decorated mine or I didn’t got any cake  🥲

TOP Highlights: the cleanliness of the entire Resort, the beachfront layout with the cabanas and long chairs, so much space,  the food quality and selection in all 5 restaurants, the spa, trendy design and relaxing, the  fitness program and yoga class, all amenities and commun areas were so upscale, the rooms design and  a very creative Entertainment program.

The view from the rooms are stunning (all are beach front) the water is an amazing blue color.

We tried a lot of the activities - painting class, pilates, yoga in the pavilion.

The beach is pristine and has great areas for swimming.

The pool had a party vibe in the afteroon,

The location is also perfect: direct access to the beach where you can walk or run for good few miles south to Playa Delfines, or north almost to the easternmost end of Mexico.

I insisted that we should not be charged and reluctantly they 'waived' the additional fee for us.

Which tells me they're probably not getting paid what they deserve.

They don’t provide them anymore and charge $12 USD for a metal straw.

The spa - They were running a promotion to get an 80 minute massage at the price for a 50 minute so I took advantage of it plus they added on Hydrotherapy treatment.

As I explained to him a bunch of people were upset they couldn’t sit in or by the pool unless they paid $80 for a cabana each day (which came with 2 loungers in the pool) As Mr.Rojas explained to me this money grab was put in place by previous management

There is also entertainment every day and night, with a range of shows and classes at no extra cost.

The only downsides of our stay were the terrible sales pitch on check in, super misleading and time wasting. He promised a three minute chat to provide us our welcome package, turned into a 15 minute guilt trip to sign up for a 90 minute sales pitch saying "he wouldn't get paid if we didn't attend."

The premium wine was a tab on the expensive side,

And far too many hidden fees, especially for things which should have been included (ex: a chair by the pool or on the beach, a seat to watch the nightly entertainment , etc. ).

Once those are taken, you either have to pay for a chair or cabana, or find a place to store your stuff.

but not if I could find something close to price.

He told me if I paid him I could sit there.

Little if any consideration for the guests unless you want to pay extra as in the seating around the pool and at the beach.

This is additional cost and is not cheap.

though it's an all inclusive, there are plenty of things they want you to pay an extra charge for so just stick to the normal menus and you'll be fine!

but the only way you could get a poolside chair is if you pay money for a cabana.

The toilet in our room didn’t flush properly, the electric sockets were loose causing a health and safety hazard.

Siaan Khaan Master suite leaked dirty water from the celling by the AC vendor for days before they came and patch that up.

There were roaches everywhere and black mold all over my bathroom. 2.

The a/c was so bad that it was leaking and dripping water from the vent causing a wet mess on the floor.

but the two bathrooms were extremely dated--not at all what you see in the pictures.

On the last night there was a huge cockroach in the bathroom.

The water in a shower was hard to manage the temperature (either super hot or cold) not warm!

I refused to get on the shower for fear of contracting a disease.

Plus there are not enough bathrooms for the amount of people so they would get messy.

The bathroom is soo old and there is mildew , mold buildup on the shower head, the head board and room colorful pillows stink so bad of mildew.

Public Bathrooms near the poor were wet and not maintained enough.

however part of the bathroom wall was floor to ceiling glass so if someone used the bathroom at night and turned the light on it would again wake everyone up.

The maintenance of the room is minimal, especially in the bathroom, the shower is broken, the water comes out of the shower and sink faucets, so there is water everywhere.

Shower was unpredictable hot/cold kept changing and the maids were not that attentive unless you left a tip of course.

The bathrooms are also old, and need updating.

My wife used a face flannel to wipe the tiles down in the shower and the  flannel was so filthy.

Our first room had plumbing issues leaving the bathroom out of service.

I would recommend this resort for anyone who wants a relaxed atmosphere

I wouldn’t spent another dime in a place that allows it staff to openly refer to people of color as nig**rs.

We loved the Coffee shop, very cozy and nice place where you can taste any type of hot/iced coffee/tea/chocolate.

If you like the pool then you will love this place the pool is pretty amazing bc the size and atmosphere change depending on where you are at in the pool… you can be relaxing or partying up to you 
But again if you want to great service or even good everyday move along stay somewhere else like secrets/dreams.. or hard rock.. or planet Hollywood or the riu was better for service those are great options for better service.

Always enjoyed the shows especially the Caribbean show and all the aerial art acts.

Cant forget being accused kf smoking mary jane because we 4 of the  people of color here The place is just ghetto as we would call it.. they claimed we would love our nee room as if we live in some kind of box.

They classify you by the color of your skin if you look brown Mexican they will classify you, if you are white or light skin they will treat you better even if you pay the cheapest wristband "blue".

The entertainment is continuous, colorful and exciting!

We took Two other couples with us one was celebrating her birthday and they decorated her room for her.

Overall we were very pleased with the outcome, entertainment and atmosphere.

We were seated at a nice table and let me tell you-the atmosphere was PHENOMENAL!!!

From the moment you enter the lush oasis courtyard,  to the stunning ocean views  off the spacious 2-level patio.

Ever night there is entertainment and good vibes!

I did have the chance to go to Playa Delfines and take a picture next to the Cancun sign, and go to the luxury mall and La Isla Cancun.

Not bad… just very noisy in front of the Beach Club and no bar service.

The noise from events did not impact my sleep and I am a light sleeper.

Lots of drunk buddies in the pool (noisy and unpleasant).

Lastly the 3 am wake up call by a DRUNK guest trying to get in the room screaming about how they were locked out was a bit ridicuious, as was the noise and echos through out the Pyramid that resonated into the rooms.

but if you walk to the other side you cannot hear the loud music and can enjoy relaxation, if needed.

In one sense the hotel lobby is stunning and in another it allows noise to travel all around the hotel so if you have a drunk group being loud it tends to wake the whole hotel up as you have no corridors to block the noise.

but be aware that it is very loud at night (esp during spring break) as doors close and the sounds carry/echo.

but every night they had parties, they came from the disco or the bar, and they spent their time yelling in the lobby and knocking on the doors of the rooms to waking up guests, there was not a night that those of us who were not part of the Spring break were not disturbed, I never thought they would put most of these people in there and many of them were not yet of legal age.

We were at the quite end of the complex, Seaview, bloc 3, best place to be, where's others were at the noisy end which was quite loud in the evenings which will suit the teenagers.

The noise of people in atrium, such as shouting is echoed throughout hotel.

but we heard a muffled voice behind us, we couldn't hear what she said as she had a face mask on which then my partner had said 'i'm sorry i cant hear you, what did you say?'

but believe me I’ve never stayed anywhere so disgusting and hideous it’s awful really awful ,,, thought I’d stayed in bad hotels before this takes top place for horrendous e perince all cocktails come out of bags and cockroaches are deep fried for free

The corridors had a very annoying Christmasy music playlist, playing 24/7 - that at night, was disturbing.

The only other concern would be the amount of noise.

A dude on stage with a microphone leading an a**-shaking competition shouting “who wants to get f’d up” while pouring liquor down the throats of people in a conga-line to the chants of "shots, shots, shots" is not going to be confused for a Four Seasons.

I most say I seen the horrible ratings and reviews on the plane on out way here I made myself so sick !

So be careful not to forget those things
- The rooms are zero sound proofed.

but there’s bad smells at different places.

And on a second night my pillows smelled.

The rooms are utterly disgusting and smell of mildew and mold.

The rooms were old and outdated and smelled.

Our Room smelled so they put us in another room .

They said the sheet had to be put in a special disinfection wash… which begs the question.. Why aren’t all sheets washed in disinfectant?

At that point I was just ready to go back home since the room had a odd smell.

I picked up a pain au chocolate which just smelt of cheese!!

but maintained, one of showers had slow drain, so we used the other so as not to be standing in water while washing your hair.

BE AWARE: If you don't want to be around ANY SMOKE or want to smell stale smoke then this is not the hotel for you.

Food reheated and raw and crap no beach towels you are on if you are local read the reviews and stay away your treated like you are nothing can not even use half of the resort unless you pay more disgusting done lots of long haul worst ever please believe.

The furniture was plastic and the plexiglass was absolutely filthy you could not even see through them.

You would not really use any of the available drawers, as the stink humidity and dirtiness.

It was like a family atmosphere and that gave us peace of mind especially as parents.

Caribe is freshly redone, so that part I was jealous of -- But the Peninsula is better

Sebastian who cleaned our room did a great job every day and always left some different towel art.

There is a ceramic and canvas painting for additional cost on site which we took part in and enjoyed.

A few minor changes could make these areas more "cozy" and pleasant.

but overpowering as you sit right on top of it and the acoustics are all wrong - everyone ends up shouting as no soft furnishings to take the echo out.

but the whole set up was professional and a good atmosphere.

What made it for us was the service by some of the waiters, JUAN in the buffet is a fantastic waiter, He always had a table for us and a bottle of wine at the ready, I always tipped him because he deserves it, He even decorated our table one night in sunflowers it was quite touching, Also his sidekick SALVADOR another guy who deserves his tips they work so hard.

The atmosphere was great, the food was great, the service was great, the parties were fun, the place was clean.

The large parties they throw are definitely for people that like to party hard and have a good time and for us personally, we were looking for a more relaxed atmosphere.

The first night we attended a neon pool party which was a foam party, and the atmosphere was amazing, DJs, dancers, and lots of foam.
