Hugo in buffet was great also very helpful and went the extra mile to makenour vaction wonderful i am gratful for him   and then there was Miguel who was working an early shift that week instead of he's usually  worked night time at the steak house

Pools and beach were clean and beach chairs were plentiful and comfortable.

Coffee shop was as perfect as it could be 
Restaurants were all fantastic, buffet I thought was not as great.

Francisco was a server in the buffet who took care of us for breakfast and Can't say enough good about him.

Luis was another we often saw at breakfast and lunch.

The buffet will have something for everyone in your family, even picky eaters.

The food was very good, full of choices, breakfast, lunch and dinner.

From the food buffet, cleanliness of rooms, hallways and court yards, to the courtesy of the staff, our stay was amazing.

Great accommodations, all inclusive, & great food whether it is dining in or buffet.

There are just enough restaurants to choose from and have a variety every evening and the buffet itself is worth the whole week.

Buffet at the Italian restaurant was awesome.

but that’s all I could really complain about, breakfast is yummy, especially the home made omelette, we ate in most of the restaurants and they where all yummy, the pools where clean, the staff where friendly and it was a brilliant experience, I would definitely recommend the hotel and would return, thankyou riu

Lots of choices for dining, a la carte as well as buffet.

The staff in particular Alfonso & Hugo at breakfast and Santiago at dinner went above and beyond to ensure our every need was met, making us feel like VIPs throughout our stay.

The amenities, like the shampoo and soap, were really awful smelling and totally dried out our skin.

It has flaws such as the shower floor being slanted away from the drain which means water stands inside about 1" deep.

We visited the place at middle of November 2023 , we arrived late after 12h fly , there was one person at reception, waiting 40 min for check in, no one help as with the luggage, so we took it ourselves to the 1st floor ( we stayed in villa) , there was no food, drinks for us , everything was close and the sports bar was empty… The room was covered with mold, the smell was horrible.

Our initial suite/room was not ready at check-in time (3:00pm), quite probably someone was perfuming our room to kill the smoking odor last minute,

During the day it’s overpowering and during the evening can be heard even on 16th floor with the doors closed, in the buffet hall and foyer.

So imagine coming back to your room and the food from the night before and getting slapped with the smell.

That was 5 hours earlier- how had the staff not cleaned up vomit?

Amazing food and service all around, my only complaint would be the amount of cigarette smoking all around the property in indoor common and beach area.

but it’s cleared each morning and we didn’t see any rotting piles of it on the beach and no smell.

We also we had to take a shower with roaches because the water did not go down the drain, so we had roaches to swim around.

On our first night there the jacuzzi in the room wouldn't get hot and the water stunk so we didn't even use it.

He tries to make his way to the bed and is throwing up, dizzy, cross eyed, falling down, and having trouble breathing.

Rooms are damp and needed some TLC, we didn't use the spa bath as the fittings were very old and uninviting.

We Were told You cannot smoke on the secured side.

We had some pop up in the villas on our last couple days, smoking by the pool.

We booked 2 excursions through TUI to Xcaret and Xplor.

However, I expressed my concerns through a feedback questionnaire at the buffet restaurant and the vegetarian options improved.

As for the restaurants, the buffet was well stocked, and

Buffet has a great selection, including breakfast, lunch and dinner.

All of the staff were great and a special mention to Aury from the buffet, Zoila from Housekeeping and Tony the exercise leader.

But me and my husband didn’t feel comfortable during lunch and dinner in buffet .

3 places to smoke, if your a smoker  which are not adequate for hotel this size.

The middle pool is a pool bar where people were just drinking until they couldn't stand up, smoking in the pool, and we even saw someone taking substances.

If you’re a smoker, I would strongly advise against this hotel.

Our room did smell of sulphur on occasions and the fan does make a noise which you can't switch off so some light sleepers may struggle.

There are staff raking that up each morning and it’s nothing like smelly seaweed and didn’t deter anyone swimming in the sea.

First off the rooms had a horrible mold/mildew smell that was making me feel sick, our rooms were NEVER cleaned unless we requested on the app and even so no fresh towels brought / toilet paper refills.

Areas for improvement: 
We saw many people smoking throughout the resort in undesignated areas, which we found very annoying.

The rooms were a bit dated and the bathrooms could have been cleaner, there was black mold in ours.

Day we checked in, the room had pillows and bed that were giving off a stinking smell, same with curtains

but of course people had to ruin it by leaving their garbage behind, we found broken glass, straws and cigarettes :/ Food was very poor, only friuts and vegetables were great also staff was very helpfull and nice.

No air in room bathrooms, insufficient room lighting, red stained mirrors, pee on the side of the toilets.

Our friends had trouble with electrics on floor 9, blowing lights, hair dryers ect…fuse box looked old and looked like required maintenance, this happened after rain, so probably water in the electrics, they had to sleep with no lights or electric, with a smell of burning, was not resolved until next day, their last day.

Everybody smokes, everybody is loud and inconsiderate of others having a relaxing time.

The hotel has an amazing protocol for COVID in every place, not just in the hotel also outside the premises including parks "XCARET".

Glad my two days in Riu Caribe I spent them at Xcaret & Xel-Ha.

however I was happy to stay around the hotel in the day as there is plenty of entertainment and time for relaxation, and I saw plenty of the “real México” on the three trips I went on; Chichen Itza, Xcaret and Isla Mujeres (all of which I highly recommend).

Hotel was a good base from which to do some of the Xparks and this time we had a fantastic (but long day) at Xcaret.

Tui rep also didn’t tell us with any Xcaret trips, if you keep your wristband on you can go up the Xcaret view tower in Cancun for free the following day!

Went to xcaret and xelha and coco bongo all a must visit plso visit la isla shopping centre has a pepsi max ferris wheel to look over cancun amazing vie $275 pesso or $15 us dollars it toom you round 5 times also visited a museum you can get the bus costs 12 pesso each way buses run 24hrs a day if ur not at a bus stop the bus will stop

This hotel has a foam party every Thursday 3 -5pm in the quiet pool near the the pizza and drinks bar and a beach party on a friday night both gd.

First we did Xcaret and watched the evening show - very good

While we were there we went on a lot of excursions including Xel-Ha and Xplor which we booked ourselves through the Xcaret website before going, and a few excursions through Thomson while we were there including the catamaran trip to Dolphin Discovery where we swam with dolphins, nurse sharks and fed the manatees and a trip to Garrafon Park, and Chichen Itza.

We honestly don’t have one single complaint, the staff couldn’t do enough for you, the room was clean, the food and restaurants were delicious, staff were attentive, beach beautiful and the cocktails were to die for.

Our family would like to give heartfelt thanks to the spa manager for facilitating Lizbeth coming over for one of my wife's hair services, to Ernesto in Tequila for making every breakfast the best experience it can be and Tania by the main pool for keeping us hydrated and well fed all day.

Gael and Rafael even remembered us from our last stay 4 years ago.

For us, we were up on the rooftop pool and felt like our own personal bar, food service (shout out to the delicious fries and seasoning salt)  and pool.

The rooms were nice, the beach was gorgeous, the meals were delicious, and the service was warm and accommodating.

Dante and Alejandra took great care of us and the food was delicious!

It’s either the buffet (mainly left overs from breakfast) or the bar grill.

Four years ago he was a breakfast waiter.

They always tried to seat us in weird sections when there were tables elsewhere available with better proximity to the buffet, view, etc.

Our first night we ordered the Pepperoni King pizza, it was delicious.

I appreciated Janet's attention and also the delicious food the chef, Edward, made for my breakfast and lunch meals.

The food was amazing, especially the seafood risotto and the little buffet of appetizers they have.

The only thing I would say which is not the hotels fault is, that I would make sure my room didn’t end in 08, 10 or 12 as it’s next the the elevator and can be noisy late at night or/and early in the morning.

Barging into the elevator before those arriving have had a chance to get off.

The biggest complaint I heard was the elevators.

Areas for improvement:

The elevator situation is REAL slow.

2 out of 4 elevators are broken at all times.

The elevators are dirty and just plain  worn out.

The lights went out on us on the elevator!

The only thing that really needs attention right away is the elevators.

Because this is a tall hotel style building, we found the hallway to be quite loud when trying to sleep, especially since our room was directly in front of an elevator.

The hotel downside is the elevators and ensuing wait times.

Moving around the building is somewhat difficult as stairways are closed, elevators get packed up and take long time.

Elevators are a nightmare, it was small and constantly passing floors.

The entire 7days involved elevator issues.

Only minor negatives, there are only four small elevators for 14 floors, so you have to be patient at peak times or find stairs.

but expect to be caught in elevators, restaurant lines, buffet crowds.

-the towel game is exhausting (I don’t blame anyone who wants a chair, but the hotel needs to move towels and stuff if people are holding places at both the beach and pool for hours while they eat breakfast and get manicures)
- the elevators are small and they take quite a while

Even at the furthest room here, you're maybe 100 steps to the elevator to breakfast, another 100 steps to the pool and 200 more steps to the beach.

but what we learned to do was if u were going up and the elevator was going down or vice versa.

Their app is extremely helpful for ordering room service or to schedule early breakfasts like we did on days we went to Xcaret or Chichen Itzà.

The entire staff at Leblanc Resort & Spa Cancun were amazing, and the food in all of the restaurants was absolutely delicious!

Even the treats left in the room daily are delicious, 

Specially in the area of the pool with Laura and Jannette and in the buffet with Magdalena and Jose . .

The rooms were lovely and comfortable, the food was delicious and plentiful in all the restaurants, and the beach was amazing.

The barista at the coffee shop was always smiling as she made delicious coffees for us early risers.

Both of our dinners (Bella and Yama) were excellent, and we enjoyed the breakfast and lunch buffet, a la carte lunch at Terazza as well as the snack menu at the pool.

We loved being set up on the beach each day after breakfast and just relaxing all day with the most attentive service.

The shrimp, calamari, fish and veggies were so delicious.

The food was delicious in every restaurant, the beach and the sea are awesome, great view from the room!

The host Jorge and hostess Frida, always with a smile and prompt with seating people at the Blanc restaurant for breakfast.

We began with the seafood buffet (only on Wednesdays) and it was a treat.

We felt everything was pretty good and we loved the breakfast buffet which can be a miss at many resorts.

All food was extremely fresh with the utmost highest quality ingredients.

The buffet was excellent, fresh grilled seafood was the best.

These wonderful people kept us coming back for delicious meals during our trip.

Looking back, the only thing that could be improved is our golf game… Overall, a terrific week with delicious foods and outstanding service.

The hor'deurves were over the top with cheese sticks, crispy coconut shrimp, fried egg rolls and so many other choices to start off the evening.

The drinks are tasty and I enjoyed the healthy options at pure- I had the tuna salad.

Plus, there is a get healthy restaurant on site which is so delicious.

Resort credits have lots of restrictions and you have to pay 16% tax on any “free” credits you use.

Depending on the sun's position, one side of the main pool can become shady in the late afternoon, so the chairs on the sunny side are at a premium and taken by 7 a.m.!

Go somewhere less expensive to get value!

But if pool seating is important to you be aware of Palace’s peculiar paid membership/timeshare structure before booking.

You do get what you pay for and in Le Blanc's case, that is very much the case.

Le Blanc is expensive compared to the other resorts in Cancun,

This would never happen at the Ritz or St. Regis, where you pay similar prices without the literal and figurative smoke.

Imagine the best meal you have had in the most expensive restaurant anywhere in the world.

I would say that their branding is NOT consistent with what they actually deliver given that they are the most expensive hotel in Cancun.

How do they expect individuals to pay thousands of dollars and not be able to utilize the entire beach?

For example, our couples massage was $900 so w/ 16% charge, we still paid $144+Tip.

While Le Blanc is expensive, it is worthwhile for the absolute pampering and indulgent experience.

We think the cost or price you pay to stay there is a real value to live even for a short while in a paradise that you have never experienced before because when you leave you are totally revitalized like no other vacation you have every taken.

We were not even at any of the premium or elite  levels,

Really a scam, where you can only spend the amount on certain items and not-so-good excursions, and spa treatments that seemed way overpriced, so that there is always a residual that you need to pay.

We’ve been lucky enough to have stayed at quite a few nice hotels - The Breakers WPB, Four Seasons DC, NYC, xCaret Arte, Waldorf Astoria Chicago, Viceroy Los Cabos to name a few and LeBlanc Cancun was by far our favorite.

Breakfast was good - Mexican food in the main which was great for us adults - and other choices for our young children - fruit, cereals etc.

Well apparently our was American, they serve some fruits, some pastries and some eggs with toast occationally beans or potatoes.

One restaurant is strictly for breakfast.

Well priced buffet and an awesome calm beachfront.

Because it wasn't busy season, they alternated which of their two restaurant locations was open at breakfast and dinner;

I would especially like to thank my friend Dany R. who serves breakfast and Luis and Misael at the front desk.

Wonderful outdoor pool, water park, breathtaking vista, decent breakfast and food all day long, and the UPGRADED room was updated with a good kitchen, great living area with a murphy bed, clean, modern, and functional.

I’ll give to them that the breakfast was surprisingly good - if they had served the breakfast buffet for lunch, I wouldn’t have complained, really.

Ordered fresh cooked vegetable omelette, with a side of pancakes.

but they had a pretty good dinner buffet.

We had 2 buffet breakfasts equivalent of £13 each 350 pesos.

It is enough to feed two and absolutely delicious.

You can purchase packets of 10 coupons to use for drinks which turns out to be less than 4.00 per drink and same with the buffets - you can purchase coupons to pay with and it is a savings and worth it.

They wanted to charge $85.00 for a cab to the resort from the airport.

but server insisted charging  370 - “sorry, prices went up.” I would not be so unhappy if I weren’t paying US prices for my stay.

If you ate or drank on property you showed your wristband and were given a 20% discount if charge to your room.

Also, our clothes were kept hostage again because a false claim that our credit limit had been reached.

One of the couple I was traveling with had an issue with their credit card.

but we’ve been to many resorts where customer service is priority and they would replace the drink at no charge.

They then put a hold on my credit card for the amount and I was NOT happy.

the location is perfect - walking distance to the ferry and a short taxi to the strip. The only two small things that we noticed was that our room cards often had to be reprogrammed (they said to keep them away from cell phones

Once we reached the hotel & checked in, we were told that the extra charge for our two children was going to be an additional $55 USD/day which was news to me since Priceline never had me enter the number of guests in our party.

but when we booked they offered buffet breakfast included in the price showed, only to arrive and been told that any meals were included and that the price for the room for 4 nights were 311usd when we actually paid 420usd, so, they couldn't explain why they charged us more than an extra 100usd and didn't returned the money either or give us any courtesy for the mistake about the "included breakfast".

They also have laundry services and charge by the kilo, also very economical.MY only issue was that when I left at 0500 on May 11the taxi service wanted to charge me more than the posted 350 pesos at the front entrance.

but worth the $340.00 pesos that was charged and that does not include the drinks.

They only charged our kids (ages 8 and 10) half price, which we charged to our room.

You do have to put some pesos on your account for charging in the hotel.

He told us whatever was left over we would get back in US funds.

I complained to our hotel contact and all she could say was complete a comments card.

it was the only time we used this credit card ever.

There was a daily charge of $25.00 per person in which could be applied towards drinks/food.

The ATM takes a huge fee and locked me out from using my card calling it fraud. 5.

Very old hotel , the smell of room was really bad.

however we would have struggled with the dampness If we had been there longer.

The Bad: both 1st floor patio door locks were broken making security unnerving, restaurant served us undeniable fuzzy mold on our cheesecake and didn’t comp the meal, the room is grossly outdated and the bathroom construction was shabby at best.

The dishwasher was filthy inside and the outside of the dishwasher was rusted.

but staying at a run down resort that smells terribly that you dread going back to ruins the trip.

The carpet was dirty, the tub was disgusting, they had no room darkening curtains, the bathroom sink leaked and towels had to be piled under.

It’s an outdated establishment and smells musty and old.

We experience sunce we got in mold all over and we got the room was worst our first room had the mold.

but the “upgrade” put me in a very hard Murphy bed that actually smelled a bit of mold.

Cons:
*The hotel is old
*Our room had mold in the shower
*The shower backed up bad
I did let the front desk know and they came out and cleaned the drain.

Smoking is allowed near the pool and on the private beach areas: an unfortunate turn of events.

but dirty (cigarette butts, plastics .  )

however it still smells like mold and the hotel as a hole was a bust!
